Great venue. Excellent beer selection plus wine list, cocktails etc. An oasis within the Westfield Shopping Centre! Even have their own microbrewery on site. Informal seating in a relaxed environment. Great service. Music was booming a bit loud for me but maybe I am getting old. Definitely check this place out.

This was my first time at Tap East and I absolutely loved it. Drinks menu just doesn't ends. Awesome beer, good service, can order sides as well. I went for the Tap East Bitter myself and can recommend that for sure. You can order sides and Hotdogs. Wheelchair accessible.

Fantastic pub and brewery with a great range of craft beers, wine and cocktails. Good space to have a beer whilst shopping and there's an outdoor playground next to it so your children can have a play whilst you keep an eye on them from the outdoor seating. Beer menu is regularly updated, so no two visits will be the same.

Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre. Beer desert I thought. More arid than than the Gobi I thought. Multinational blands I thought. How wrong could I be? Totally it seems. Head for Stratford International railway station and you will find this veritable oasis of craft beers and ales, many brewed on the premises, some brewed elsewhere and all set at a price that doesn't make your wallet wince. If only all shopping centres had a bar like this. I sampled several pints over a couple of days, including an own brewed coffee porter (Delicious) an experimental table beer (full of flavour for a gentle 2.8% beer) and a rather unusual carrot saison beer from Norfolk.

Can get busy, can be pricey but the beer is always great, with a really good selection that's great quality. Never had an issue with staff although understandably they can seem rushed as it does get busy. Shame they can't get a bigger unit. Has viewing windows into their brewery and they have their own toilet for customers too, which is convenient of course.

Good range of great beers, reliably including porters, American pale ales and lagers. Cask, keg and cans and bottles available. Staff friendly knowledgeable and attentive. Tasters always available before buying. Quiet on weekdays, esp. but plenty of seating for a small venue when busier. Clean n tidy. Convenient. UPDATE Visited today. No lunch available (but, let's face it, who's actually coming here for the lunch?) 😁

Nice pub, great atmosphere as we went there after a football match. It was quite busy but we got served quickly and soon after a comfy sofa became available. Bar staff were friendly and informative as I asked about a Stout I'd not heard of before. Cant remember what it was called but it had a raspberry flavour and was over 9% - I had half pint of it and really enjoyed it!

Delivers. Decent venue with good selection of beers available. Wide in range with plenty to satisfy the more curious drinker. It isn't huge so does tend to fill up quickly especially on Fridays and the weekend. Beers can be a bit pricey but aside from that it's pretty decent overall

Lovely chilled atmosphere, a tasty range of beers, and a handful of decent wines listed. We were there on a cold Sunday evening; we had no problems finding a seat to settle in for the duration. Our only problem was the heating, or rather lack thereof; coats were soon back on. But that won't stop us visiting again; Now we know it's there, we'll be back 🙂

This is a little oasis in the mega temple to consumerism that is Westfields Stratford. Both of us are big real ale fans and this place never fails to deliver good beer well kept at a reasonable price, for London! It is great for taking time out if you should find yourself in Westfield.

Beer is good but way overpriced. Its a small place but if you can get a seat it's not a bad way to unwind from the hell that is Westfield. Great selection of ales. Great retreat from the cloned shopping experience. Independent so you don't get the same old plastic beer as you do in the big chains. A beer for all tastes and with good flavour as well. Alongside some other independent stalls and eateries, Tap East is the place to visit for a break.

An unusually characterful and decent bar for Westfield! Loads of beers available - around 12 taps I think, and they change frequently. The only downside is that it is quite small so it doesn't take much to feel 'busy' and for the waiting to start.

A nice oasis in the chaos of Westfield. Been here many many times, always a new beer to try. Staff always friendly and happy to let you taste before buying. Some are expensive, but, this is because they are imported in very small quantities. Can't fault this place.

It's alright. You can't beat an actual pub with a fire and crappy carpet but the beer selection is immense. Beware their tv screens show beers by colour and this does not match up with the actual colour of the beer. So I ended up buying a blonde beer instead of a bitter... just beware and ask for a taste before you buy to make sure you'll like it.

A brewery in a shopping centre? Who would have thought of that? Tap East that's who. Here you can not only pick from their craft/real ale selection, but also a great selection of craft from around the world. When I visited they had just started Tap East take out bottles and were working on adding food. Very refreshing after a hectic shop and the staff are great too appearing to have tasted many of the beers available.

Great little micropub with its own brewary, located in Westfield Stratford, near Stratford International Station. Always a good selection of beers, both their own and from elsewhere. Their signature East End Mild is especially good. A range of places to sit, including high tables with bar stools, comfy sofas, and outside tables. It is also right next to a well kept children's play area, so good for families. Can get busy at times, but usually possible to find a space. Highly recommended.

Outstanding selection of beer, including their brews, particularly enjoyed the sour Gruit Beer, Vienna lager and Tonic Beer. The place is small so getting a seat can be a problem, also not enough staff so service can be slow. The toilet seat in the single loo was bust which did not impress me and when I informed the staff they just shrugged, so may have been that way for some time. Not great for those of us who must sit to pee, hence one star deducted by me (the wife would have deducted more).

A quirky place to say the least. Excellent beer and attentive staff make for a great visit and one to be repeated. The bar however is essentially an extension of the mall walkway and just outside is a kids playground, right nextdoor to the smokers.

Fantastic Real Ale, Beer and Cider pub on the outer edge of Westfield Stratford. Barmen were awesome and let us taste a few beers before we ordered and were very knowledgeable about their sour beers. Would recommend for a pleasant interesting pint of real ale.

Desperately looking for a decent place for a decent beer and found this one. A haven from the huge shopping mall bustle. 16 beers to choose from. The couple I tried were well kept and at the right temperature. Cosy sofas to relax in. Will return again on my next trip.

Excellent best-kept-secret microbrewery and bar, round a corner at the very end of the Westfield shopping centre. You have to know it's there, which means it doesn't get too busy, expect on matchdays when the mighty Hammers are playing at home.

Possibly the only reason I would choose Stratford Westfield above any other shopping centre. A good selection of handpumped beers (3 of their own and 3 guests) complemented by 10 eclectic choices on keg. A few posts have mentioned surly staff, but lately, I have enjoyed only friendly service. A relaxing break from the shopping chaos nearby!

A refuge from the horror of Westfield, if you must go there this is a good place to escape for a pint or two. Excellent selection of craft ales some of which brewed on the premises. Aside from being in Westfield it only major failing is it's not terribly cosy, feels more like a trendy coffee shop than a bar.

To counter that there are usually at least a couple of interesting taps on and the location is very convenient for Westfield and the Stratford 'International' station.

Cottesmore place you could easily walk past outskirts of Euston Station the outside seating is next to the road but it's good for having a beer and people watching the selection of beer can be limited but it is of good quality and it is worth a visit en route to a different establishment
