D. B.Was in here on Friday night. Fantastic night. New owner Tommy I think his name was was great the atmosphere was great and so was the music and staff. Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back. Only criticism I have was a little bit too hot and no deals on shots. Other than that. Perfect.

B. B.It's my local, so it gets five stars because I'm there. A traditional pub with the usual fare, with the added bonus of a couple of guest ales. Friendly locals, show's all sports and the jukebox is well stocked.

D. M.Now "The Alfred", we still remember it fondly as "The Prince". Now, once again, one of the best pubs in Sydenham. Great beer, great atmosphere, great staff, great customers and it won't take long to become "one of the regulars". Take it as you find it - you'll soon fit in.
