I went to their club section. People works there are so friendly. Lady manager was sad to see when we were leaving. She is cool. The music was very good. The drinks are not cheap, a little warning.they have toilets. The party started at 10pm, was till 4 am. I left about 12 🤣it was an African party. Was good to see how African chocolate's are partying. Afrikan girls know how to dance uhh la la😍

A fine modern bar/pub/kitchen, nestled at the bottom of an office block in houndsditch. A big place with loads of tables, geared towards feeding burgers, pizza and subs. All looks good. A number of keg beers available along with two casks currently on offer, a third is waiting in the wings. Fast polite service with a lovely cold beer the result. Love the bar, all the filing cabinets from upstairs! A good stop for lunch or just a chat over a beer or wine.

Deputy manager Had great service here .awesome food . Shame about the cauliflower wings was a slight disappointment and because of this Ryan the deputy manager gave us two free glasses of wine . Such a kind and sincere gentlemen indeed. Around defo come her again 5 stars all day

Lovely welcome at this financial district establishment, had a great pint of Otter Ale, one of three available on hand pull. Recently refurbished, looks really good. Good selection of craft ales available too. Extensive food menu.

An average example of an average chain. We went on a weekday night and there was quite a long wait for food. Furthermore, it came to the table at wildly different times with no explanation or apologies. A burger showed up first, followed by two pizzas 5 minutes later. It was then another 10 mins until the third and final pizza showed up - so a full 15 after the first guest had their food and started eating.

Went on a team work lunch to the Alice. The pub had a great atmosphere & the food was delicious, I would recommend the pizzas as they have a pizza oven. We only have an hour for lunch & the food came out really quickly. 100% recommend to anyone working in the gherkin.

Thursday evening was quite busy and noisy but there was a nice atmosphere. It is about a 7 minute walk from Liverpool Street station and close to Bishopsgate where a number of buses, go in all directions, so fairly convenient to get to the pub and to get back home. Standard pub fare.

Came in to The Alice for lunch the other day and loved it! The food was great and the service was friendly and quick. The decor is very well thought out and pretty, it has a really nice vibe. I was served by Jorge who was very friendly and professional. I also spoke to managers Ryan and Gary at the bar as well who both recommended their favourite gins which was really helpful. I will definitely come again when I’m in the office!

I've always liked this place to come to for drinks. But don't eat here, the food is overpriced rubbish. We ordered "tiger bread garlic bread" which sounded great but was two slices of that really dry garlic bread that you get 10 slices for £1 in any supermarket. Except we paid £3 for two slices. And the burger meal was happy meal size and quality for nearly 4 times the price. I'll be back for drinks, but nothing else.

Four of us had great food here, there is plenty of choice on the menu for the more fussy eater. We had mac n cheese, a pizza (consumed by our own pizza expert who said it was great) and a sloppy Joe burger and none of it was at ridiculous prices. We were served by Max, who went beyond the norm to make our time at The Alice a memorable one, he made us great cocktails. Ask for Max when you go and mention my name (it will achieve nothing 😄😄)

Nice pub and not too busy. The food isn't super high quality but the menu prices reflect this. £11.50 for a burger, fries AND pint in London is ridiculously cheap. Ordering was a bit of a pain, few mistakes on the food that arrived. Mildly annoying, but again, for the prices I don't think I expected much more. Great for a boozey night after work and some carbs to soak it up!

Nothing fancy. A good old pub looking bar... Good location. Typically busy in the afternoons and really busy for an afterwork pub drink. Overall a cheap place for the standards. Selection of beer, ale is not bad but limited. I think is got more to do with the chain company. Wine selection and spirits, again, nothing major but OK. I only give 3 stars because is constantly busy and I have to wait very long to get served. I will definitely go back since is a standard for us people working in the city and want to grab a drink

Modern but friendly rather than trendy, and quite a decent menu of sandwiches, burgers etc. Also cocktails, beer on tap, and (for The City) a really decent lunch offer: £8 sandwich and drink. Quite big, lots of seating, but filled up fast just after midday with City lunch crowd. Might be tricky sitting in the evening; a lot of tables reserved from 5, but there's still the bar. Free WiFi (login). Didn't see charging points but there must be one somewhere.

This pub has changed ownership several times in the last few years but is always a good place to drink, eat & socialise - it's got a large seating area, several little fenced off areas for groups, small or largish (10-12 people), which is great if you are having lunch with a special someone or several friends meeting up for drinks and/or food. There are only a couple of bigger pubs around (All-Bar-One up the road) but not many with such a great atmosphere & layout, it's worth the little extra walk, but it can get busy with people who know about how good it is.

It's a city chain bar, full of local workers having a pint or a glass of wine. The food is ok, nothing to write home about. It can get noisy at times and tends to get really busy on Thursday/Friday lunchtimes. On the evenings early in the week it's pretty much empty which is quite strange for such a large place.

Yes, it's a pub. But it is large and airy and does fantastic pizza! I had goats cheese and onion marmalade + anchovy, olive and capers. Both done on thin bases. A reasonable selection of wines - enjoyed a Malbec from Argentina and they do cocktails which my friends seemed to enjoy.

On a quiet Friday lunchtime I snuck out of the office to grab a bite. The Alice offers a good selection and does a deal from 12:00 to 16:00. I’d arrived early but the staff kindly took order and put transaction through after 12 so that I got the discount. Enjoyed the food and will return.
