Poor selection of gin & wine, so great for a beer session with the lads, but won't take my wife there again. Glasses also had dry water marks all over. No care or attention from bar staff, at lunch time anyway. Sorry I could not rate more highly as the location and ambiance could be great. Its better in warmer weather when the outside terrace is open, but drink choice is still poor.

Love that place! Food is very tasty and you have variety of choice. Also good selection of wine/ drinks. Staff is very friendly and professional! My family and I have been served by staff member Suzana and we were definitely satisfied with her service. She was very nice, and helpful. Perfect atmosphere in the pub.

All the staff were very helpful to our large group for a special leaving party, even on a busy night they were nice and provided excellent service (and drinks!). We had a great service from Andrea and Edy, who made sure we were always happy. Charming atmosphere, delicious food, hardworking and attentive staff.

We popped in for a couple of drinks and food after working all day. We sat upstairs and were amazed at the amount of people who were there after work. The fish and chips was really good. My husband had the meat pie which was gone before I could get a bite from him and the selection of wine and beer was excellent. 4 bottles of wine later, we were closing down the bar and headed back to our hotel. If you are looking for a good local pub in the diamond district, check them out!

Brilliant roof terrace for when the suns out. We got there about 4:30, but by 5 it was packed. So it’s worth getting there early if you want a table outside. Very friendly service, would highly recommend!

Last night, my friend and I came here for the first time for dinner. Andrea, the bartender, explained the menu to us and double-checked my order because I am vegan. It was delicious. I had a vegan burger with salad instead of chips. My friend appreciated her beef burger, chips, and drink as well. We promised ourselves that we would return.

Great time here the other day. Had a meal with some friends. We all enjoyed the food and the drinks. Aoife (I think, saw her name on the till 👀) talked me through what I could drink, being diabetic. I really appreciated it.

Came to the argyle for lunch again, food is always great here, beautiful roof terrace where you can sit when sun's out but we stayed downstairs as it wasn't the hottest day, noticed few new faces behind the bar, have to mention Suzy, lovely girl, made the visit even more enjoyable.

What a great pub this is.. spent he afternoon and early evening soaking up the early sun on a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the streets of Farringdon. The staff were fantastic and followed the covid restrictions with a smile and complete professionalism. We had some snacks off the menu, which were well made and served promptly. We were made to feel safe and at home from the minute we arrived. I will be returning very soon and highly recommend a visit.

When we arrived we were greeted by such a lovely host, she was just great. Allowed us to stay for drinks past our booking time which we so appreciated- but hugely let down by one of the bar staff. He shouted at my friend when she tried to get attention to order a drink, and then as we finished up to leave came to our table three times in the space of 15 minutes and aggressively told us the pub was closing. We stood outside waiting for our uber and he then came out and shouted at us to get off the property. Really weird and aggressive to be honest, and not a reflection of any of the other staff. We've all been through a tricky year, we are just trying to get through the next steps together. Just be nice. Our first experience of being indoors at a pub in over a year, we wont be back.

Recently visited The Argyle with some friends of mine for a few beers and a bit of food. The atmosphere here is great, very chill. We were looked after by some really great and attentive staff, never felt forgotten. The food was delicious, and there really is a great selection of drinks that kept all of us happy. We were able to scan a qr code for track and trace and order our food and drinks from an app. They've clearly taken these new regulations seriously, and make the experience so seamless and easy. Had such a great time, and we're all looking forward to coming back again sometime in the near future.

Please update your website and the menu's items. My friend and I chose this pub because of the Xmas dinner opportunities and the nice environment. I booked a table outdoors, for a Xmas dinner, paid 20£ for the booking and we got a table indoors, with no Xmas dinner menu items at all and 75% of VG items on the "classic" menu that were out. We ordered some substantial meals accompanied by drinks (wine and beers) which at the end, was not cheap, considering as well the 20£ booking above. At the end, desserts were offered due to the whole mess above, which was a rather small compensation now that I think of it. So, please update your website and/or indicate clearly, the menus items that are currently out, the confirmation of Xmas dinner.

Came to London for a day with the wife, and went to the Hatton Garden area as the wife wanted to look for some new jewellery. We stumbled upon The Argyle nearby. We stopped in for some fish & chips, which were brilliant, as good as any chippy. We made use of the outdoor seating as the weather were top knotch. Stayed for a few drinks, making use of the outdoor bar, which the wife & I loved. The staff were really on point, and showed us how do download their app for our phones, so we didn't have to get up once, which made us feel like royalty. Excellent service, excellent location & excellent staff. Well done.

Great little bar near Chancery Lane - it can get very busy sometimes but that’s to be expected. The terrace is beautiful in the summer, so I definitely recommend reserving a table if you want to enjoy the view of the old prudential & leather lane with a group of friends.

Hidden just past a much bigger pub this is a gem. Seating outside at ground level And upstais on a roof garden. Also space indoors on both levels.This pub is much bigger than it appears from the outside. 2 bars as well although the upstairs one is a little less stocked than downstairs as far as choices are concerned. Staff are effecient and friendly. I don t know if they serve food as I've only ever been there after work in the evenings.

Yesterday I went there.. it was a nice pub good interior, nice selection of wine and beer and top of it the staff is very friendly and helpful. I visited there for the first time for a technical MeetUp i.e. "Happy hours with Data Science" and when I asked the counter staff about it she happily cam out from the counter and took me to the booked area for the meetUp. I feel too honored with this kind of service. I also found this meetup very helpful to interact with the technical minds. I will go there for sure next time. Once again thanks to the Organizer of this event!!
