Nice rustic looking pub when you walk in. There are menu’s on the wall. Pizza’s. Burgers. Chips. To a traditional fry up is available. Coffee to pints it’s all here. There is a small dining room on the left that can sit 18 people. To the right of this there is a small games room with packs of cards. Card and board games available. To the right of the main bar is a large pool room with two tables available. Please note this is on the Hanger Lane gyrotery so parking is limited to and hour that’s if you can find a spot. Nice local pub to me, lovely owners.. A place where you could have after work drinks or just a quick one alone.. Which I did and feel very comfortable doing so. It is popular with locals & work men alike as there is a Premier Inn a few doors down. They also serve food which I haven't tried as yet. A great location to Hanger Lane Station especially if you fancy a quick drink before going into the city.

Hi Responder, I very much value your reply. My rating was influenced by the relatively poor quality of meat in the Mixed Meat Platter and the Margarita Pizza which was forgettable. I should have added that the pleasant and casual ambience, friendly staff, lovely ales/beers and easy to reach location are a brilliant plus... just need an improvement on the food but I have added another 🌟

We love visiting this place when staying in the area. This is a good honest London pub, laminated menus and a great selection of beers. The staff are really friendly and the happy hour from 5-8 means all beers are £3, great for a London suburb drinking place. There's something really traditional and honest about The Ashbourne.

Weird, it would help if the staff spoke English. I was given an empty pint glass instead of a half , the barman did not have a clue what to do, he started pouring a pint and just looked lost.

Love this pub.. Friendly staff and lovely food..Service is good too. The place is very lively... Ample of space and attached sitting available for eating a meal. Top roof garden available. Can play pool and even poker, table booking available for groups. Best place to watch sports. Good choice of drinks available. With food, pizzas are very common along with the mixed grill. Been there few times.. Feels like I am going to be a regular customer!!

This is a really nice place to have a pint, or a drink and eat a good meal. Friendly and helpful staff, good prices and good quality products. You can watch a game here, play some pool and in summer they even do BBQs 😁 You can make a booking for part of the venue for a private party and I would definitely recommend if you want a casual night out with friends or family on comfy sofas. Not your typical pub but worth visiting and meeting the owner and his lovely wife.

I am a student from Ealing Green College and I was placed here in work experience to do 35 hours of work. All 35 hours were simply amazing! The food is delicious and properly served. My mistakes were addressed properly so I wouldn't serve any bad food to the customers and I was taught to serve drinks properly. I think this says a lot about the quality of the bar. The work culture is simply amazing. I am very slow and cautious and I was afraid of a lot of things but the staff were very understanding and helped me gain confidence in my ability to work with them. I love working in the Ashbourne and I would totally recommend eating there. Hopefully I can get employed there and serve some customers! 💕💕💕💕💕 I rate this 1000/5

We were stopping at the Premier Inn next door and decided to give the Ashbourne a try after looking at the previous reviews. Really impressed with the place. It had a nice welcoming atmosphere and the food was very reasonably priced and tasty. They even remembered us when we went back for tea two days later!

Good local pub, cheap beer before 8pm. Has food options available but I didn't partake although what came out looked fine and I didn't see any complaints. Definitely an option if you're staying in one of the local hotels.

White wine was very sweet and tasty. Very good low prices. THIS place is surprisingly bigger inside that it looks, as has hidden sections, with pool table, and a lovely outdoor, covered roof terrace with BBQ. Very pleasant surprise.

Great food. Home made pizzas from a real stone pizza oven. Home made gourmet burgers. Fresh fish, steak, grills and homenade curry's.Happy hour - £3 a pint or glass of wine 5 til 8pm everyday. Several rooms for dining, chilling or watching sport on several screens. Pool, table tennis in the summer and an upstairs garden room. Really is a great place with friendly staff and a warm welcome. Live music most Saturday nights. Next door to the premier inn and crown plaza. With instant access from hanger lane central line station.
