Reviews of The Asparagus
E. S.
The best place . Good 👍 drink & food.
Amazing Pub.
M. J.
Haven't been here for a while so decided to pop in. Good service and attentive staff - much better than the 'London and Southwestern' further up the road. Good range of guest ales for a backwater Spoons.
I'll be picking an argument with Tim Martin, if he ever decides to close this pub! 😉
A.
Have started a random habit of taking friends here for breakfast when they stay over. Really well priced, food and refill coffees are great, and the option of ordering to table via QR really appeals to the introvert in me
F. O.
Wonderful staff, They don't tolerate homophobia. I witnessed an excellent incedent. I was impressed by the staff. It is a good old spoons.
S. F.
Great value Wetherspoons! Under £10 for 2 x coffee’s and 2 x breakfasts. Good quality food and extremely quick. Tables were clean, staff were friendly and came over to check if we were doing well.
K. K.
The first Weatherspoons in Battersea with its new neighbour now down the road, opposite Clapham junction station. Not the largest pub but does have some outdoor seating although usually for smokers. When I visited a quieter atmosphere, but typical Weatherspoons setup which we all know.
J. N.
This is our local, dangerously Cheap.. we end up staying far too long when we go for a quick one, and the 3 plates for special with the crispy prawns quite the treat. It's clean, generally mixed crowd with garden area perfect for us.
M. F.
The lemon herb chicken was enormous and very flavoursome. £9.29 with a pint. Hipster chicken places should read and weep ! Good bar service too.
L. A.
Love this place, I've been going here more frequently now down to the very well priced food and drinks and overall ts just amazing and I really enjoy everything here as the staff are nice if they have do anything wrong. Only two inconveniences have ever happened which are amended very quickly. My food was cold and they took it back and heated it up. It is always very busy and hard to find a seat and normally someone leaves within 5 minutes of waiting.
G. C.
I only want to come back here because of Daniel's service, this guy is 10/10 hes so polite and friendly and made the experience so much better as the manager seemed to be so negative, the young girl malone who was clearing the tables again was so polite and asked everytime if we needed anything. Shame about the management#PromoteDaniel
L. J.
Arrrd boozer. Watch out for sum breh called Dogga Dex he runz dis boozer just like he runz endz. OJB/SUK man demz won't even drink nor burner ojb because they don't want occur the wrath of the half a brain killa
P. S.
I don't know how Wetherspoons can charge such fantastic prices when a London pub recently charged me £6.20 for one bog standard pint of lager.
Why only 3 stars? Because the outside food area also doubles as the smoking area. Disgusting habit whilst others are trying to eat.
R. M.
Fine please so far but for the past 2 month I have been going there for same early breakfast and a chubby manager with very short hair keep serving me and she had never dream to say hello, please, thank you or enjoy. So sad
P. D.
Great Wetherspoon's pub in the real old un gentrified Battersea. It has a good community feel, yet is still welcoming to any visitor. I have used this pub for years, the food is excellent, the staff friendly and the prices very good value. Its a good place to go for you don't want to have to empty your wallet and still have a good time. Can sometimes get a bit busy, and loud, but it's all part of the make up of this place!
R. Q.
Great breakfast I didn't have any alcohol but I sure missed my Weatherspoons breakfast.
R. K.
Nice open space, outside garden. Staff nice and kind (was very busy, no free table). Good choice of beer in reasonable prices but food... unfortunately not really tasty. We had two different dishes and both were below the standard so we had to enjoy our pints. No sauces...all ketchup gone :(
H. R.
My time there was not the best, sadly to say. The asparagus sadly messed up with our orders. You may think this is nothing but as a vegetarian I do not ever think I should be served meat when we clearly asked for the veggie option. If I was to over look this misdemeanor the service was good and the atmosphere was ok. I would recommend you going here if you love cocktails and a good night.
C. M.
Great place. Been many times with zero bad experiences. Dwayne (?) and his colleagues went above and beyond what was necessary to make sure a group of 7 of us were fully accommodated, even with current restrictions in place. Great team that deserves recognition.
N. M.
Food is good ...nice atmosphere...lovely polite bar staff.
d. c.
Friendly staff. Great food. Wide rage of drinks. And big Garden
M. O.
First time here. Cracking service at lunchtime. Lovely terrace out back to catch the sun.
e. g.
I was on a recce in Battersea searching for a new sofa. We'd walked from Vincent Sq Westminster, so we were well ready to fall into this Spoons pub near our last point of call, the gorgeous Baker & Stone.
Food was grand, cheap deal on small pizza, chilli prawns and nachos with dip.
Gin and Magners were grand too, and reached our sore feet in no time.
Place was clean and comfortable.
My only caveat is I'm not too keen to patronise Wetherspoons after how the owner refused to furlough his staff during lockdown as well as his alleged refusal to pay Bank Holiday rates.
But I've already publicised enough about all that.
So I felt I could justify going there because of that.
a. M.
Very good service, took my friends there.Good value for money.would go back.
m. s.
Great staff
Good selection of real ale from 99p
R. N.
Good beer and good food. The staff were great.
K. K.
Friendly large Wetherspoon. Breakfast cheap at £3.95, but it was cold.
F. T.
I didn't like the way of taking the order, but the food was good and the place was ok.
D. F.
Lovely beers. Good food. Nice garden.
P. R.
Wetherspoon ❤️😍 Staff are friendly and food good like always 💪 and CHEAP with 20% discounts 😋💪
R. I.
Nice atmosphere, quick service!
Smokers in non-smokers section of the beer garden but other than that a nice place to stop for a quick bite.
M. G.
Really good environment , people are nice and friendly, safe with social distanced tables and sanitizer at the door. Only small complaint is that I wanted a diet lemonade or sprite and they don't have it. Also, the smoke from smokers outside come fully into the pub and you're screwed if you're a non-smoker sitting on a table facing the street side on a hot day like this when they've got all doors and windows open.
T. B.
Just a great pub for a quick breakfast
R. C. B.
It is a great cheap pub. Food is not best of quility but prices are attractive.
J. H.
Very friendly atmosphere. It was very busy because of the rugby world cup, but the food still came reasonably swiftly. They forgot the onion rings but sorted that out very quickly. The vegan burger was very tasty as well. Only reason it's not 5 starts is because the tables were, on the whole, a bit messy. But again, this is probs due to how busy it was because of the rugby.
E. E.
We visited friends here during our trip to London.
Area was nice and the pub itself looked nice and full of ambience.
Drinks were good and service fast.
Food wasn’t the best. Margarita pizza tasted like it had beef cooked from frozen and crust was tough, and it hadn’t been sliced.
Haloumi fries were tasteless and weren’t hot enough.
R. W.
Had to go there on two occasions recently and despite all the current rules etc there is a comfortable atmosphere and all the staff that served us were pleasant helpful and polite which makes all the difference , the food we had was well prepared , good team , well done .
L. H.
The guy on the bar was friendly and efficient. He took our order correctly and read it back to us. The wait was a bit long but it was really busy! When the food came, they forgot my daughter's fish and chips and the rest of us had nearly finished before her's arrived. Despite this, we enjoyed our food. Two had buttermilk chicken burgers, I had jacket potato with chilli and 1 had fish & chips. All food was cooked properly and served hot. There was no check back but again, it was extremely busy. It is clean, with a pleasant atmosphere (albeit a bit noisy). There is an enclosed beer garden. My daughter has sensory issues, luckily we remembered her noise cancelling headphones as it was incredibly loud, due to the sheer volume of people just chatting. So wouldn't recommend if you want somewhere quiet but if noise doesn't bother you, it's great!
L. C.
Nice friendly pub atmosphere. I always go with a group of friends on a Saturday, so book ahead for a table big enough for all of us. The pub are very accomodating, table is always put aside for us, and with the app, you get super speedy service and don't have to spend ages queuing. Have visited a number of times before and will visit again.
A. Y.
Great value pub. We had breakfast there while on the way to central London and it was lovely.
Lady behind the bar was very friendly.
Easy parking on street.
The only down side is it's on a very busy road so it's a bit noisy on hot days when all the shutters are open but it does make the pub nice and airy. This is clearly not the fault of the pub itself as they can't help the traffic.
Definitely worth a stop off if you are nearby.
M. S.
One of the better Wetherspoons establishments. I've been a customer here for the past 10 years and the staff have always been quite good throughout the management changes. Full of local people and always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A refreshing contrast to most of the other pubs in the area.
r. t.
All around great pub!
M. M.
Very nice for a spoons.Staff helpful/pleasant.Beer superb.
M. H.
Nice handy pub
Good prices for London
Nice food
Good outdoor seating area smoking and non smoking sections
3.
Nice looking establishment with good ambience (felt comfortable).
The staff I talked to was very friendly. And it seemed that the staff even have it good with eachother.
I ordered the chicken wings, half rack of spare ribs and onion rings (with coleslaw and chips). Super delicious! The wings weren't too spicy, the ribs so tender almost fell from the bone and the sauce with it (sweet with a hint of chestnut) was awesome. In short: lovely place and people, good price and delicious food. Will eat there again for sure.
C. M.
I live in Tooting and somehow I had missed this real gem! The pizza oven with it's open plan and superb chef draw you in. There is a great deal of space within, don't be fooled from the appearance outside to the contrary. Excellent staff and the food, awesome!
g. b.
Top cheap pub havj a pint walk 5 mins towards clapham junction second barber on left cut shave hot towels ear and eyebrows under 25 quid
O. J.
drinks are definitely watered-down
S. L.
Tall girl with really long dark hair, nicest of the staff. Can tell she has good relationships with the customers unlike the other staff. Food is nice, come regularly for lunch. Nice pub.
A.
Very nice pub food excellent and cost of drinks exactly according to Wetherspoons very cheap. Only problem we had is they had no pressecco and they appeared to understaffed as service was delayed and glasses were mounting up on all tables. Few were smashed they definitely need a new broom! otherwise a nice afternoon
B. S.
Nice pub, good atmosphere
C. A.
Good prices. Nice atmosphere. Wonderful locals. Unfortunately we're told 5 mins to drink up and leave due to power cut. Staff could've been a little more lenient.
s. b.
I love this place.
Always going there when I was living in Battersea, even now, when i go visiting friends in London, we always meet there, They are offering a good food, vegetarian, vegan and kids menu.
The prices are wonderful, you can eat there for nothing,
Most of the consumers are local, and they are friendly, making friends there is so easy.
I suggest this place for whom want a quiet place to drink and relax.
Enjoy your visit ;)
S. E.
Really enjoyed the number of times I've been to this Spoons.
The staff are friendly, they've managed to hold out from inner London prices and they have a good range of ales and beers.
But guys, why do you have to be so popular?? I can never find a place to sit down haha :')
G. C.
Good atmosphere. Early evening mainly the over 50's getting food and drink. Around 21:00 the clients change and the under 40's arrive. Food is Okay and good portions. Beer is excellent and a wide range.
r. b.
Cozy pub with a lot of local trade. My cider was perfectly chilled. I will return.
m. c.
Surprisingly poor beer choice lagers and Badger beers - that's it.
Cosy and comfortable pub, pretty good food (I had the steak) and friendly staff. Not particularly cheap for the food though.
But the huge thing is not enough beer options not even a single craft beer in a bottle. Pubs are predominantly about beer as far as I'm concerned, so this let's it down big time.
P. P.
Great prices for wide selection of craft beers, good service. I wish it would be open longer tho. Pub is closing at 0:30, even on fridays, wchich is a big shame. We had great time there for two days in London. If we had more time we probably would be there every evening :)
A. P.
Great value pub in the Wetherspoon tradition, sometimes a bit full. Family friendly with great offers and deals. A great place to get something to eat or a drink on the cheap. A bit to loud to have meetings or more serious conversations. Definitely won't impress anybody so I wouldn't say It's a great place for a first date or anything particularly special.
T. T.
I have been coming here for almost 7 years and love the cheap beers, homely atmosphere and interesting habits of the regulars. For example, I once saw a rather jovial and portly gentleman fail to negotiate the mezzanine level step and the resulting tumble still resonates with me today! I am now leaving the country but will always look back on this place fondly! Thanks guys!
C. T.
The food was great! A large breakfast fit for a person with a huge appetite at only 4.99! The ambience was good too. Would highly recommend. I came here 2days in a row!
D. P.
I would give 5 stars if the toilets weren't upstairs... No worries if you're disabled, they have a ground floor disabled toilet... The food is great, I am particularly fond of the buttermilk chicken burger, the chips that come with it are delicious and there's plenty of extras you can have too, as well as a free drink. 😎
B. K.
Part of the Wetherspoon chain. A basic selection of alcohols and very low prices. Food pretty good as well and great service. Interior a bit dirty and messy. Also the average age of costumers seems to be pretty high. Overall impressions - positive.
S. R.
Decent whetherspoons pub. Longer than usual wait to get in due to covid contract tracing. The app now incorporatea the August dine in to help out discount deal courtesy of the UK Treasury.
J. K.
Cheapest pub in the area as far as I know. Service is great. Lovely people. However, stay away from the food.
C. B.
The food and drinks are very cheap. Also good service and good location.
N. C.
Always good service here!
M. D.
A really good looking pub, although the decor is rather dated... The drinks are affordable (as usual, it's a Whetherspoons). The grub is a bit hit and miss bit at the price you can can get a chicken wrap and chips with an ale for you can't really go wrong lol. The staff are nice enough too. All in all a decent place for a quick beverage with mates.
j. s.
One of the nicer spoons pubs in SW London. It's not overly dingy but it's not going to win awards for ambience either, but you can't argue with a pint and a meal for £8. Beer garden out the back is nice too.
R. Q.
Great time great staff, food was excellent.
Thanks to all the staff for the great service... I'll be back
g. b.
Information - apart from the disabled toilets the toilets are up a few stairs, so there go a few calories. Judge how busy the pub / restaurant is as to whether to use the table service app. As with all wetherspoons reasonable service and reasonable pricing.
I. B.
You get what you expect in terms of food (good value for money), drinks menus have some pretty fine bargains too. But the staff here were what made my visit memorable: a very fun and chatty bunch.
S. T.
I am an avid patron of the Asparagus Battersea - have been for some time. I remember the first time I planted my foot inside the establishment it sent a whistling breeze down my spine. I knew that second, things would never be the same again.
As soon as you pass under those famous golden letters your heart rate increases to match the excitement and buzz that flows through the pub’s open, tastefully decorated spaces. The fresh aroma of £2 pints mixes perfectly with the hearty mist from the internationally acclaimed Chicken Breast Bites. Now, in most places that pride themselves on value for money, you’d expect quality of service to leave something to be desired - Not in the Asparagus. The Asparagus app allows you to order gallons of well-priced booze which is carried, often precariously, by the battle-hardened staff straight to your table. No matter the situation they will be sure to serve your table with a beaming smile on their faces, and quite often will mistakenly offer free pints – bonus!
I would compare the atmosphere to that of a room full of children, just breaking up for their summer holidays. Everywhere you turn there is smiles on faces and froth on lips. The quality of conversation around the place is second to none, and the numerous seating areas means you'll never get bored. You think you've got your bearings in the place, but then, as if by witchcraft, as you wander past the beautiful carpeted staircase that leads to the well-groomed washroom facilities, you will come across a large set of doors. As if this place couldn’t get any more perfect, these doors open up into one of the most wonderful, well-located beer gardens you are ever likely to witness in and around the South-West London area, possibly the world.
I can’t ever see myself ever finding a more perfect place to drink pints and make memories. It will always have a place in my heart.
Best wishes,
1 of many happy Asparagus drinkers.
S. O.
Food was very hot and even though they were quite busy. We also were told that food would arrive in about 45 minutes but arrived much earlier (approx 20).
Prices were very reasonable with a good choice of starters, main courses and drinks.
A. K.
It's a great pub, with great staff & great service,,lovely food & drinks at a cheap price, its my favourite pub right now, will be there tonight for dinner & drinks 🤩👍
F. N.
The Asparagus is a pub I regularly meet up with my friends. I always received a warm, friendly welcome from the staff. I find the food a little on the pricey side, but that's pubs for you. & children are welcome. & they do have a selection outside we're there is tables & chair's we're if you prefer you can have drink's outside. But i'm not sure about parking. Overall pretty good pub!
G.
I enjoyed my time there, staff were cool as we're the patrons. Booze was sensibly priced and the toilets were clean. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing by.
J. D.
Lovely tasty food, on occasions could have been hotter. We had curry on curry night and chicken on chicken night and a brekkie. Bar staff very friendly and helpful.
C. S.
Great service tasty food
s. w.
Been in there a few times now. The beers is cheep. The food is OK but there isn't a lot of choice for a veggie that can't have mushrooms. Good old jacket potato always fills the need.
J. “. M.
Had a nice ham and mushroom pizza here this time was great
J.
Cozy, decently friendly staff, lots old older locals who basically live there, but I think they enhance the experience.
Hint: come here for a quiet breakfast on the cheap. Today I got this for £8:
- Beans on toast
- Side of hash browns
- American pancakes w/bacon, sub hashbrowns
- fresh fruit
- mocha
- cappacinno
S. J.
Food wasn't prepared as well as other Wetherspoons I've been to. the ale selection is quite good and plenty of beer, it's your standard Wetherspoons although a bit run down and hate to say it a little bit old man-y. Still, if you're just looking for a nearby Wetherspoons then well you found it haven't you
M. D.
I liked it and have a friend just moved to the area so it will become a regular haunt. Good smoking area in the garden, but close the door behind you so you don't freeze the diners near the door.
E. K.
What you expect from a Wetherspoons. The Asparagus is cheap (most beers are between 2,99 and 3,29) and lairy. The pub’s redeeming element is it’s nice beer garden in the back. Just watch out for the morning drunkards.
D. 2.
A lady called Jessica served me. The type of quality you would only expect in a 5 star hotel. Worthy of her Team Leader position as she does so effortlessly. Gladly recommend.
S. S.
One of the most bland Wetherspoons pubs I've been to, though staff are helpful and friendly and food/drinks remain as cheap as ever. Recommended, just don't expect anything resembling an "old pub" atmosphere (which a select number of Wetherspoons do still achieve!).
J. R.
Typical weather spoons but it was OK food was nice
E. R.
Nice place for Brunch. Prices are very good but the staff that served us was not very friendly.
K. K.
The service is really slow and food is just ok, but the drinks are cheap. Frequented by every type of people so the pub is not orientated to an specific public. The garden is quite nice (in summer). The only thing, as mentioned, the slow service.
M. L.
Food was ok. Service is really good, very cheap food and drinks. No music though!!
J. M.
Standard Wetherspoons! Was fairly easy to find a table and ordered on the app. The food and drinks came quickly, too. All in all, a good visit.
S. K.
Hello. I'm here first time and I can say that is very nice place. I confirm that staff is friendly and here is really family atmosphere. Prieces are lower than another part of London (for example Kensington).
J. Y.
This has been my local pub for the past two years and I can't really fault it. Sure the beer sometimes has a strange watery taste, but it is a Wetherspoons, and you get what you pay for. It is cosy, the staff friendly and you'll meet one or two interesting locals as well.
If you're looking for a merry place to hang out with friends and have a few pints/nibbles then pop round. #TubeDinner
F. F. D.
Nice food
j.
Good food, reasonably priced beer & decent service....add in friendly bar staff, what more can you want from a pub
F. F.
It's my local pub, I love it. Food is always fresh and tasty. The also have daily deals, which is nice.
C. M.
It's a Wetherspoons, so you know exactly what to expect. It's also a local boozer, rather than a town centre pub, and much better for it. Cheap drinks, good staff, happy days.
S. C.
Near clapham Junction corner of Falcon Road and Battersea Park Road SW11. Better than Weatherspoons. Steak and chips with mushrooms, tomatoes and peas was very nice. Outside garden area. 10-15 min walk from Clapham junction, serviced well by buses 344, 49 and loads more.
R. C.
best spoons south of the river. good service, fast food, best prices. does fill up quickly so get in before its busy!
M. H.
In the time that I've been coming to this pub, the North African White Rhino has gone from populating much of the Sub Saharan plains to being almost extinct. Sadly, the last male white rhino died today, and yet somehow, the carpet in this pub persists. I enjoy the cheap beer, the casual lack of any recognisable norms when it comes to dress code, and the reliability of the burgers being ok. But I'm still so sad about the North African White Rhino.
T. T.
Food could have been hotter, actually had no sugar for tea, some staff not overly friendly, our table had not been cleared as were several others. Expected better not the best Witherspoon we have used.
R. P.
Its great. Staff are nice and drinks are cheap. Only thing i would say is that it could do with some more seating.
C. A.
Visited on Saturday the 23rd December. Like all spoons this one, with plenty of real ale choices and a spacious pub. The only downside was one member of staff being very slow, but this happens.
D. W.
A desperate place really but there is some horrid fascination to be had as the carpet slippers and tracksuit bottoms edge toward the bar at first orders like extras in 'Night of the Living Dead'. The gammon streak and fish Friday meal deals are good but beware of the floorshow.
L. C.
Where do I start? Few establishments these days provide such exquisite service at such a reasonable price. Probably one of the best soft pubs in the whole of London, and when you've got a pint of Shipyard in your hand, things get vibeyyyy.
This has been my local for 8 years and it's even where I held my wedding reception. My wife, Pengting SuuBarker from the Philippines, has also fallen in love with it.
10/10 avo on toast.
S. L.
Lively and popular. Best value beers in London!
D. B.
Had a wonderful time. When ordering from the Wetherspoons app you get your food and drinks quicker especially if they're busy.
M. P.
Excellent value for money!
J. R. A.
Nice pub with a good selection of beers. Nice staff. Low prices, very low, compared to to similar pubs in London.
A. B.
Friendly helpful staff, decent food friendly pub in general.
J. S.
Awesome.... If you like to drink, do it here but dnt bring any trouble round these parts. We'll deal with you ha ha ha with love obviously.
L. H.
Good staff, good food
r. B.
I enjoyed their meal
L. T.
It's simply a Wetherspoon - not much more than that. Normal food as in other such pubs, staff were pretty friendly, cheap! Couldn't complain really, was not expecting any more :)
H. R.
Standard Wetherspoons pub. Had terrestrial TV on showing sports. Reasonable prices compared with other Wetherspoons pubs in Zones 1/2.
Z. P.
Have friends in the area so this quickly became a common meeting spot because it's spacious and offers cheap food and drinks.
Yes it is a Wetherspoons but because of all the good times I have had here, I just want to say that:
My name is Zhao and this is my favourite Wetherspoons in London.
P. P. (.
Very nice prices and selection of food and good overall atmosphere. Nice people of a diversity of ages. Food quality though is average.
Ĺ. O.
Very nice and friendly a great place to visit
t. p.
Service could be a bit quicker, having said that, the food is good, the staff are polite, and it's good to see a traditional pub in the area with a very good selection of beers and wines at a very good price.
R. W.
Very accommodating for our large group and they didn't screw up the order too badly but for Wetherspoons compared to Wetherspoons in Kent I found that this one had cheaper prices than our local
L. M.
Can't really go wrong with a Witherspoon's, always nice food and selection with good prices. Friendly staff
D. j. p.
Attentive staff great atmosphere, I will be back
M. J. B.
If you can get a seat the food and drinks are generally of good quality and very reasonably priced. Typical Wetherspoons fare.
A. I.
Customer service is satisfactory.
H. K.
Not a bad pub, drinks are very reasonable. Seeing as all the pubs around the area are £2 to £3 more expensive.
V. T.
I like it 👌 Good place.
R. F.
Decent beer quality. Friendly staff. Quick service. All around good Wetherspoon's pub.
M. P.
Cheap beer, great food and polite staff. Overall nice place
P. M.
Big classical British pub converted indide of Wetherspoon's chain. Not the best quality but very competitive prices in London.
M.
It was ok, a bit to many smokers, but cant do anything about it so...
R.
Not bad, quite more expensive than expected, taking into account the location. Anyway, Wetherspoons is always a good option.
M. A.
Yes, this place is very good and welcoming environment, a meeting place for everyone wanting to relax with friends and family, with good quality food and drinks, l would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great day out with friends and family,
P. C.
I've not been been in the Asparagus for a while , Monday was my first time in there since Christmas, the staff have changed for the better, they do good food and have a lovely beer garden
C. B.
Find it a bit hit and miss
Today mixed grill was very nice
Plenty of it
Meat nice and tender
So very pleased
Bar maid friendly
S. A.
Good pub this one. Toilets are generally clean and food is good. Cheap for the area too!
R. A.
What else you can ask..... I love it, my friends love it, is value for money, is traditional and is full of fun eaven without music or TV...
I love Asparagus from the deepest of my 40st!!!!
R. L.
Great pub, nicely done out with great atmosphere. Food top rate and service first rate.
M.
Bloody quick service and friendly staff
P. W.
Good pub -just in at -4-40 pm -the downstairs toilet make the pub smell of piss-did inform on of the barmaid not a bit interisted
P. B.
Not bad apart from people who don't buy a beer and ponce the Wi-Fi using words like fam.! Nah m8 don't need that. Apart from that,a very pleasant experience.
A.
As always Wetherspoons reasonable prices, friendly people, a good place to relax or socialize, I strongly recommend to try this place.

d. c.
Went in for dinner with the family asked for a food menu guy was very unhelpful then when our food did come out the chips were stone cold so the nice waitress got them replaced so just think it's who you get when you go in
M. M.
Lovely local pub. You can bring your family here for brunch, or bring friends for a local night out.

Classic Wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful. Food can be a bit iffy depending on who is in the kitchen and how crowded they are. But generally ok.
A. B.
This pub is out of this world. Amazing. What a fabulous place. I could live here. The toilets do have quite a bit of pee on the floor.
M. W.
I was really impressed with the staff member who served us she was really patient. I really enjoyed the breakfast and it was my first visit.
D. H.
Nice atmospere but sitting outside freezing need outsife heaters
N. B.
The place itself is ok, maybe a little dark in the day. The staff do a good job despite having to work in a very difficult environment. Its the clientele that let this place down.

Exactly as you'd expect from a Wetherspoons. Outside area is glum, interior is lacking of any particular character. Drinks cheap.
M. C.
A typical Wetherspoons pub. Not at all glamorous but cheap as chips - and the chips are very cheap!
D.
Always fair prices and food, shame there wasn't any Guinness today but apparently st Patrick's day cleared them out of the 500 pints that they had!!!!
