The third time I have been here and the staff have been so friendly and full of joy. It's a friendly place to visit and the drinks served are in clean glasses and to your expectations. The restrooms towards the end of the night may need a bit more air freshener, but that is to be expected just before closing. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, all in all a good evening. Thank you.

I don't usually go to a Wetherspoons but popped into the Bankers Draft in Eltham High St on an after Xmas evening stroll. Well, what can I say ?? Lovely bar staff who went out of her way to help us, lovely few draft Coor's for half the price of the pub we were in before. Old Madre here, spied the Aperol Spritz on the menu. It was the best I ever had at quarter of the cost I had paid before. Nice pub, amazing staff & customer service, you just can't beat the price. Thanks for making a boring evening stroll nice

The smallest Wetherspoons in the UK. Had a lovely afternoon with my brother reminiscing about old times over a few 99p whiskey and cokes. Friendly staff too. Just be prepared that they might be full and you won't find somewhere to sit.

Possibly the smallest J D Wetherspoon's in Britain. A bit hugger mugger but retains the essence with a reasonable choice of real ales and choice of food. Staff very friendly. The name harks back to it's being a former Martins Bank branch and it would have been one of the smallest of those!

It's a rare thing that I get a well done steak cooked as it should be. Cooked all the way through, not burnt, not dryed out, not over cooked. My steak was spot on. Thank you I was very happy.

I am a regular and love the place. People may criticise its their right but I have never had any problems. Food nice and service ( dont forget covid) has never really been a problem. The staff work hard and are very hospitable , for the smallest Wetherspoons in the family would never complain, but I may be a bit bias , who cares.

Wetherspoons smallest pub- was surprised though that they dont operate the 'spoons app, so ordered at the bar. Service at 10am was friendly, the bar clean and tidy, with friendly smiling staff. Food served promptly and good as i'd expect.

Only visited one time. The staff were very friendly and the price of alcohol was less than normal pub prices. I had fish and chips which was delicious and my friend had a veggie burger which she enjoyed immensely.

Small branch of Wetherspoons in Eltham, SE9. This particular pub is full of regulars so you can get a few looks when entering the premises. But I have to say the food was delicious. The staff were ok too, but not overly friendly. If you're looking for a quick pint, you won't have any issue coming here. But if you want to stay a bit longer and chill, you might wish to consider elsewhere, mainly because of the size of premises. People will want the table you're sitting at!!

Been my local for the past 6 years. Very friendly bar staff, choice of ales different nearly every week and food has alwayd been good. I still wish that the "no standing at the bar" sign is adhered too as it can be extremely difficult to get served sometimes and has in the past caused a few arguments with customers jumping the queue especially with only one person behind the bar. But still a great pub nevertheless

They really need to change the layout, because there are so many small tables and chairs in the centre of the pub, all the locals / regulars stay in the middle and take it over, leaving new potential regulars to have to sit in the corner or have to brush past lots of people to even stand up. It's clear that the average age range of people that go to this pub is about 40-50 yrs, I don't mind drinking in a pub like this, but because of the above you can't feel the slightest bit comfortable. Last time I went myself a three mates were sitting around a small 2 person table in the corner of the pub...

Went for a quiet meal on a day England was playing football. I didn't know that this (and others?) Wetherspoons had a TV....! So no quiet meal. But I had a steak and it was EXCELLENT! The only real criticism was that when people went outside to smoke, they stood in the doorway. So most of the smoke came inside. I would like to see the management encourage customers to move well away from the entrances.

Ok, I'm not expecting fireworks at a Wetherspoons but when the menu says that steak is served with "tomato" and "mushroom" (note the singular) it's still nonetheless a bit surprising when you actually get that, or more precisely, *half* a tomato and *half* a mushroom. Is it really not possible to serve a few tomatoes and a few mushrooms at a cost of a few extra pence? It just comes across as stingy. Otherwise the steak was ok, ordered medium but served closer to medium rare and a little bloodier than I'd like. Atmosphere was ok, mainly an older seemingly local crowd, a generally pleasant little boozer.

This is a JD weatherspoon really, yes! really!! it's more like a family run country pub absolutely lovely good grub lovely staff good drinks tho not so sure about the chocolate ale being drunk enough, or pipe to clean I couldn't figure it never tasted chocolate so I change drink & I did also try the mix with prosecco rather than a Guinness it's one of those places were you are laughing & made to feel welcome & invited into the locals pub games of which I won & you really looked after and made very welcome (",)

The food is cheap and pretty good as i think this place is a Wetherspoons. . However it seems to be more of a place where the same drinkers go and if you are not a frequent visitor or look a bit different, you can get uncomfortable stares.

Really nice little pub off the high street and close to Mecca Bingo, very close to local transport connections (bus stop right outside for both directions). Prices aren't too bad, average about £4 per pint.
