Just off Haymarket is St James market where there are several bars / eateries and this is a very nice one that is very well presented. Excellent choice of drinks and good service - would definitely recommend. I don't expect to pay a service charge for drinks only otherwise it would have got 5*.

We found the service to be exemplary - everyone was so friendly, attentive and helpful. The ambience and the decor is really cool... It felt fresh and somewhat exclusive for Central London. I didn't eat but my friend loved her food! Will go again.

The choice of eating and drinking in London is endless and with no research we found this little gem. There were three such establishments all nestled together, this was the least busy so we ventured in side. To me The Beau Brummell has a "Speak Easy" feel about it, cocktails, hard liqueur, a long bar with comfortable seating, beautiful decor, the lighting particularly notable. The staff were attentive, smart and professional, the owner (I'm guessing) even had a little chat with us, who says London can be impersonal. The main event, the food and drink, we only wanted a snack, I ordered steak sandwich and my wife ordered fish finger sandwich. Delicious, superbly presented, and plenty of it.

This lovely pub is just tucked off the Main Street. It is very relaxed. The gent serving was patient and happy to help. We went off menu and decided to order Mojitos. They were the best mojitos we have had. We have been comparing it to other mojitos all day! If the drinks are anything to go by then the food should be amazing to. We will definitely be going back for more during our stay. Can I just say, the outdoor seating is the comfiest and very clean. They definitely take pride in what they are doing. What a little gem we found.

We had dinner here on a Friday early evening. The ambiance and setting are excellent and the service was friendly without being intrusive. Overall, the food and drinks went down really well. For me, the one star comes off because my own food was ok without being great (the pork belly was a little stodgy from too much sauce and was somewhat cold) and because they were already out of a couple of things on the menu despite it being 6:30 on a Friday. I would be happy to try it again, though I would order something else.

Middling chain pub with slightly above average food. Staff are enthusiastic but often not particularly competent. I've been in three times and on one occasion had a pint of lemonade spilt on me by a waiter and on another all the food orders were wrong.

Seven of our family had lunch here prior to seeing a show. The food was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend visiting. We will be going back.

Good place nice beer lovely staff But the outside where I sat was bit noisy and crowded because of the ongoing constructions. It would be 4 star if it wasnt because of all those noises. Visit it wont regret it

My friends and I went for a roast dinner on Sunday and it was one of the best roasts I’ve had! The staff are really attentive and delivered fantastic customer service. Me and my friend had the sharing roast chicken platter and there was so much food! Will definitely be returning!

Brilliant food! Tapas are great for sharing and there is something for every taste here. The flavours are so well put together. We shared around 12 plates between four of us; everything was tasty and we left feeling contentedly full! Also, the wait staff were so lovely and accommodating.

Great service and food at this pub. It seems very new and as it's not on a main road it's a bit quieter than some other older pubs in the area. It's modern but cosy. On Saturday when we went there was only the brunch menu available from 10am to 3pm. It's more focused on breakfast type food with a couple of mains available. The chicken, tarragon pie with mushrooms and tenderstem broccoli on the side with gravy was nice. The pastry was delicate but not too soggy. The desserts menu is great too, it was hard to choose but we ended up going with the cheesecake (pictured), dark chocolate mousse (pictured) and the apple pie. The apple pie is a must! They have a mezzanine area which would be good for events. I'd definitely come back.

The St James' area generally either has small traditional old pubs or it's all fancy hotel bars or private members clubs, so Beau Brummel is much needed as a modern pub/bar. Only downsides are that the drinks are a tad expensive plus it's very popular so often has areas reserved, limiting the seating for drop ins. It's my new favourite local though and it's nice to have seating with heaters outside too and not just having to stand on the pavement :-)
