Lovely pub, the outside sitting area is superb, had a lovely time having a pint in the sun

Lovely pub , excellent beers on tap including little creatures and Timothy Taylor landlord which is lovely to see down south! Had the chicken schnitzel and it was amazing! Super polite staff and lovely sea kelp hand wash and hand lotion ! Looking forward to returning ! Thanks guys

Nice ambience and great location, visited on a Saturday night for dinner. Amongst others, ordered the chicken schnitzel dish, however it was a bit dry and lacking taste. Service was good.

Nice spot down by the river. We had a great table upstairs with a lovely view. The food was lovely and prices weren't extortionate compared to a Young's pub. Will definitely be back

Very fun evening on Friday with large birthday party taking over three outside tables. Excellent service with one-liner of the night by staff member as follows:
"I can open this for you." [Nth bottle of Prosecco]
"No, leave it to me." [Polite but firm.]
"I like a demonstrative woman."
"Yes - so do I."
Many thanks, all :-)

Amazing food with great location!!
Can’t wait to come back🍔

Great pub with lovely staff. It is a shame that the draft beers are very flat (Moretti in particular). It is a busy pub and beers are often served in unbranded glasses which are not designed to keep the fizz in the beer. The Guinness in this pub is very good though.

Had a great time at The Blue Anchor. Couldn't have asked more from our evening spent in the River Room. Great decor, great food and great company. A special thank you has to go to Georgie who looked after us superbly.

Food and service were lovely. Pie of the day and all the food our group had was proper. Well done kitchen and bar team - the view aint half bad too

It's a nice place to have a drink in, especially on a nice sunny day. It's right on the riverside, and could be a nice stop if you're going on a walk alongside the river.
My experience with food wasn't great, I had a vegan burger and it just wasn't that good. But I heard the meat burger is not too bad.

Staff was attentive and friendly (even polite smiles from all). Food was great, the pureed peas with the fish and chips was particularly good. We also shared some appetizers. Highly recommend the calamari. The best old fashioned I've had to date.

The Best Hammersmith Bridge pub local for sure... Friendly, welcoming staff ( Thank you James and the team ). Wide choice of real ale beers and a fine food menu. If you are out for a walk and you are passing I could not think of a better place to take a rest! Enjoy 10/10... John Horton

I had my wedding reception here we hired out the top floor. The venue was a massive hit with our guests. It's a great space that can hold up to 70 people, I believe. The staff were terrific. They were super professional and friendly. They also had a lot of fun which was great to see.
Our guests raved about how great the food was too, the duck tacos and fish and chips were a hit with many. My wife and I often visit the pub and generally get excellent service, but having the pub firing on all cylinders to make our evening the best it could be was perfect. Hats off to James, Alex, Katherine and Alyce. They were all brilliant.

The pub was busy, and we were offered to stay in the little room at the back. It was much quieter and nice. My friend had a cider and I had a tomato juice. Wifi was easy to connect. Staff very friendly. My favorite pub near Hammersmith bridge.

Really nice atmosphere - we had a lovely table with a lovely view! Great food, great service. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were well looked after by Alana and Nick, who were very quick on our drinks orders and food; delivering with a smile!

If you're looking for a neighborhood local bar located on the themes river bank, that's the place for you. Great atmosphere, good food. Highly recommended!

I think prices have doubled since I was a regular 5 years ago, but the food is still the same, only now it is pretentious. Its a good place to impress someone. Its for the rich only. The very deferential and attentive staff do work hard to pamper and pump up their elite clients. Otherwise, nothing special. Great view though. It was twice as good at half the price.
