Reviews of The Blue Boat, Fulham Reach
O. S.
We enjoyed a nice meal and drinks at the Blue Boat on a lovely Saturday afternoon after a hike along the river.
The waiting staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
The menu is rather limited however I enjoyed my Vegan Burger.
We enjoyed a variety of drinks including beers, cocktails and spirits.
They have a fairly large outdoor terrace which is covered and is highly recommended on a warm and sunny day as it enjoys excellent views of the river Thames.
All in all we had a lovely time after our 3 hour hike and I would certainly recommend it as a place to meet friends and family or on a date night.
C. G.
Nice pub on the river with a large outdoor space. We sat inside by the windows which the staff opened up for us when we asked. Good selection of drinks and the food looked great although we didn't eat there as had a table booed elsewhere for lunch. Staff were very nice and friendly and took the time to chat with us. Would definitely revisit when am next in the area
P. R.
Very impressed. 1st visit lovely decor and surroundings. Just moved into the area so will definitely be returning.
G. O.
Wonderful atmosphere and extremely spacious. We went here for a party and it was a hot sunny day. They are able to open the doors wide so it isn't too hot inside and we could just sit and chat. Their chips are amazing and I could eat bowls and bowls and bowls of them. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The setting is amazing next to the river as you walk in. There is a little nook surrounded by books that looks great if you want to be tucked away having a private conversation with a drink.
A. L.
A very friendly and laid back pub on the river. Although our burgers couldn't be cooked medium rare as requested they were still very tasty..as were the skin on triple cooked chips. The scoops of Laverstoke Park Farm ice cream could have been a bit larger, but all in all a very pleasant lunch.
C. K.
Lovely Sunday lunch! Great restaurant on the riverside with a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Brilliant for a hearty meal or a relaxed drink in the sunshine. Food was delicious and portions very generous. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Wait staff were busy but attentive (even running out with a wallet left behind by one of our group!). Price reflects the size and quality of the food. Would definitely come here again!
G. G.
Definitely a place with cool decor and delish food! We visited this place with a googled and the staff was sweet and thoughtful. They have outdoor area that can be enjoyed during summer days or winter nights as they also give blankets.
D. T.
Friendly staff . Had an amazing Lamb shank with red cabbage n mash
S. M.
Great food and friendly service! Just... They urgently need outdoor gas heaters whilst it's still cold outside and only outdoor seating is available!
I. T.
Really nice restaurant. I went there in a nice sunny Sundya, and the terrace is amazing. All of us got Sunday roast, pretty good.
Covid info: They have a good spacious terrace, with enough room between tables, and cleaning the tables after use properly
J. T.
Solid local pub with a lovely outside area with views over the river. Prices are a bit steep though probably worth it for the quality.
Inside, there are some cool booths and a lovely open-plan space for a drink.
C. V.
Food was a bit disappointing, considering the lamb roast is the most expensive of the roasts, we didn't expect it to be mostly a huge piece of fat and a big bone. The meat came off the bone but unfortunately the portion that's left was small.
Covid rules are clearly signposted and stafd are friendly
J. E.
Great to be able to walk / cycle over Hammersmith Bridge again - opens up more options for an alfresco, riverside dining experience. The Blue Boat had a burger festival going on when we went. I had a fantastic Buttermilk Chicken burger, cooked to perfection and got two extra toppings thrown in for free as part of the festival - blue cheese and bacon for me please! - which was an added bonus. Friendly staff but I just wish they didn't have to use those tablets to take orders - what's wrong with some eye contact and a pad and pencil? Note to selves, Fullers... Other than that, top class. Recommended.
N. M.
Great experience, the staff expertly accommodated my request for a birthday brownie for a friend! Food and drinks all top tier, would recommend to anyone
m. p.
A very nice pub where to spend an evening with friends or work colleagues. We went there as a group hence we had a dedicated area and we had the pleasure to have some food as well. The quality was good. The service was ok as well and the ambience did the rest. Certainly a nice place - not difficult to find following maps. I would certainly go back there.
K. D.
Rather pricey but a good atmosphere, decent food and drink options. Staff were first class.
J. V.
Great and beautiful gem 💎 for me, as I’ve only discovered this recently, like their vibe, food and customer service ❤️
They have very nice laptop friendly tucked away corners, cozy and comfortable 👌😌
Wifi isn’t secure though, so be mindful if you have data that is sensitive. Great for working offline though.
S. K.
This place has a very nice vibe .. huge place with outdoor and indoor sitting and right by river thames . Very limited food menu and they don't do cocktails.. fish and chips we're also OK .. I'll give 10 out of 10 for ambiance and service but they can really improvise on food ..
J. L.
Really nice Sunday roast. The terrace for sunny days is perfect (but try to book in advance). Staff was very friendly.
L. B.
A great place for quick drinks with your friends or colleagues near the river. The food selections is also great. You get everything you would expect from a Gastropub. Usually gets very busy in the evenings after work.
A. C.
Tasty food and good service. Dog friendly place, with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Good measures in place, to help with the pandemic and also part of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme (50% off food and soft drinks)
M. M.
Great location, 10 min walk from Hammersmith tube station, on the riverbank over looking the bridge.
Traditional British food with the likes of burgers and of course fish n chips.
Have to admit Fish n chips were the best I tried in quite a while.
Service during lunch hour is fast too.
Get busy in the evening
B. M.
This place gets heaving outside on a sunny day. Lovely views of the river by Hammersmith Bridge. Good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Often the staff will accommodate you last minute if you're walking by - either with a seat inside or even if only for a quick drink outside before next booking.
Staff are quick and pleasant. And dogs are welcome! Which is awesome...
M. D.
Good food, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff...
E. G.
A few minutes from the Hammersmith tube station and just in front of the Thames River, the blue boat is a good place to enjoy the life with friends. An outdoor with a lot of benches are ready to take care of the guest of the pub. The indoor is very good. The servers were very kind. Only one thing that I didn't appreciated: it was a little bit expensive (one burger + one chique + one pear cider + one beer for 37£). Expensive but very very good food
G.
Greeat place for a Riverside lunch, or a quick drink. The two occasions we have visited though, a member of staff has been quite rude. Older guy.
One occasion we were told to finish and leave quite abruptly, even though we had the table for another 25 minutes.
Another time, out table was ignored multiple times by him so he could help tables of young girls.
Beyond that, all staff are very kind and helpful and the location is great.
T. D.
Cute place with great drinks selection and reasonably priced.
Will try the food next time.
A.
Really nice to sit outside and great atmosphere. Easy to book and staff came round to check if you want a refill (hats off to the staff!) Beers around £6, for London that’s not too bad. There were lots of fruit flies and midges from the river so quite annoying not to have citronella candles.
C. B.
Strolling the Thames we came across this pub on the bank of the Thames between Putney and Hammersmith. Although we usually seek out old traditional London pubs this one still had plenty of style. It was modern but was smart, clean and bright with a nice decor. Just had a coffee but it was good. We sat outside and watched the regatta taking place on the Thames. Food coming out of kitchen looked good. We will be back to taste it in the future.
u.
Spacious and comfortable riverside pub, good Sunday Roast and service with a smile.
K. T.
A restaurant and pub next to the river with a good vibes inside. Ordered the gnocchi and it’s unexpectedly good. Will definitely come back again.
D. W.
A Fuller's managed pub on the banks of the River Thames in Hammersmith.
Obviously a new build pub but has plenty of character. Plenty of outside seating in the front of the building and is rather large inside too.
The interior is full is of knick knacks and walls are full with pictures & photos giving a nice feel to the place plus had an nice atmosphere too.
Only had a pint of London Pride but was perfect.
Only small complaint was having to wait at the bar whilst a staff member was drinking what appeared to be a Jager Bomb with other customers at the bar. Whilst it was only a few seconds thought it was rather unprofessional for a managed pub.
But a nice venue and will return when in the area.
S. H.
Good place for a Sunday roast by the Thames. The pub has a large outdoor area, perfect for outdoor drinks or al fresco dining right next to the river. Good value for money and well furbished.
A. C.
Lots of menu items had run out, fish pie was nice but I don't think the fisherman's catch was very good that day as the pie was very small.
J. L. H.
I love this place. It’s my favorite pub in the area. I’ve been a few times on my own, many with my husband and two with friends in large groups (8 and 15 people). The food has always been great, staff is friendly and service is quick. They do a particularly good Bloody Mary, fish and chips and burger. The menu seems to stay fresh with new things; I appreciate that they do traditional Britsh dishes well because I like to bring out of town friends. I highly recommended it!
I. H.
Great location, nice atmosphere and the food was lovely. Worth a visit if walking along the river
S. S. (.
My new favourite Riverside spot, has a large outside seating area (with covering) and if you sit to the left side you get the warmth from the kitchen blowing back out the inside -great for chillier times! Service efficient and attentive, food hearty, aesthetic done well -all round 👍
T. d. L.
Slightly overpriced, but in a great location. Drinks are good with a nice selection of beers, wines and even some mixers such as Pims and Aperol Spritz. Tends to be very busy when the sun comes out on the weekend.
M. S.
Spent a lovely 2+ hours here on the second day of lockdown easing. The food was delightfully delicious and the service impeccable. A lovely welcoming atmosphere. My only wish is that the weather was warmer as dining was outdoors.
C. I. G.
Really lovely place inside and outside. Great atmosphere.
Really tasty Sunday roast. Good menu and drinks menu.
Highly recommended.
B.
Lovely atmosphere and surroundings! Very nice menus! (pity the clock on top of building not working:)
E. T. G.
Great location, very nice food and people working there.
M. T.
The location of The Blue Boat makes it the perfect Summer spot, but the rustic interior means it’s a good option year-round. The service was a bit touch and go recently as a result of Covid restrictions. Something I have no doubt will be rectified outside of such unusual circumstances. The menu is your expected Fuller’s fare, which includes Sunday roast options and killer fish and chips.
D.
Nice location on the river front, bit pricey but all the pubs on the river are
N. D.
Great addition to the riverside at Fulham. Fullers have done a great job in developing a new pub with outside spaces and dining
D. B.
Good food but overpriced. Good selection of beers
M. J.
Great place by the river, good food, drinks and service
C. M.
A wonderful restaurant with lovely views of the thames. Currently, all staff wearing face coverings, directions in the floor and socially distanced tables. Good to see the following the government's rules, even if they are pointless and confusing.
Only stopped for drinks so I cannot comment on the food, but I can say the drinks were reasonably priced for London. Service was quick, helpful and polite. Top notch 👌
W. O.
Very welcoming Fuller's pub. Good beer and pub food
Z. I.
The food is definitely higher quality than your regular pub, I had lovely steak with beautiful hollandaise sauce, the waiter recommended very good wine and he was very kind and lovely gentleman. Unfortunately I don't remember his name, but I was pretty sure he was Italian.
I would definitely go back
C. S.
A great place with a kind staff to get rescued while in a storm.
S. P.
Great food, excellent service, just a little too noisy making conversation difficult
Y. S.
Great riverside pub, it’s a little hard to get service.
T. K.
It's alright. Standard fare pub. Nice views of the river and surrounding areas. I've never actually eaten here so I can't speak for the food. However the staff seek nice enough, the drinks whilst pricey are relatively diverse. It's a decent pub.
H. R.
Great restaurant on the Thames. Good food and friendly staff. Large outdoor seating space to enjoy the summer weather. This area is a summer hotspot as there were a lot of people hanging out outside the pub. Lovely area.
C. G.
Tasty food - I highly recommend the duck, the truffle and duck egg toast and the sticky toffee pudding. Normal pub prices. The place is nicely decorated and the ambience is relaxed. We went on a weeknight and it wasn't crowded. Friendly service, too. Would come again!
A. H.
Nice riverside pub offering a good choice of food and drink.
B. J.
Nice outside seating, app available for ordering, food looked good but we didn't eat
M. W.
Pleasant atmosphere. Good Fullers beer. Food distinctly average - my burger and chips arrived luke-warm and my partner's fish pie was also tepid. Both were sent back. When new versions appeared, they were hot, but the chips still looked as if they had seen better days - I prefer my chips to be straight, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, while these were wrinkled and chewy. Also the presentation could have been improved with a salad garnish and maybe a smaller plate so that the food did not appear quite so lost on the plate.
N. M.
Standard fullers pub built on a new development. Part of the fullers chain it is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating and is next to the river. There is table service during the busy months and the staff are pleasant though service at the bar can be a little slow during the height if service. The main downside is that everyone is forced to go inside at around 9-9.30 due to noise restrictions placed on them by the developers of the residential building just behind. This can rather dampen the mood when the weather is enjoyable.
I did not have occasion to try the food, though the menu looked well catered.
Overall it is a cookie cutter pub, though this may change as it gets older and discovers it's personality but pleasant enough to stop by if you are in the area nevertheless.
**just a brief update in response to the owner's question: by "cookie cutter" I simply meant it has a bit of a straight out of the mould feel to it, but I am sure this will change as it develops it's own feel and local clientele. It definitely did not put me off revisiting and I am sure I will again when next in the area!
K. “. J.
Food is very nice, good atmosphere and friendly staff
C. S.
Service was a bit slow but otherwise I enjoyed it. The food was lovely
R. F.
Good selection of beer that is well kept, good pub food with a view of the river
K. E.
The staff really make this place. Wonderful service and nice food.
w.
Service was good, food is good. All staff very pleasant. Accommodated a larger party over two tables for us too.
N. B.
First pub I was allowed in (well, not technically inside) after 5+ months of lockdown: of course I’ll give 5 stars. Location with nice view by the river was also a plus
k. j.
Friendly staff, good food choices. It’s pretty consistent with other fullers pubs. Great outdoor drinks location, perfect for drinking near the river in the summer.
R. J.
Love this place. Great atmosphere & location by the river is perfect for a summer evening
a. j.
Friendly staff and a great location. Lovely inside and out.
M. C.
We really love this place. The Sunday roast is fantastic and the new menu is really great. Can highly recommend the gnocchi.
Staff are overall friendly and helpful but have had the odd issue. Bar staff are super lovely.
Overall, really excellent place and reasonably priced.
C. S. R.
Nice food and proseco. The staff was very nice. Order by app to follow the gov guidelines of social distance. At the end of the service started to rain and the staff quickly opened the umbrellas.
V. S.
Nice location and view but the food from menu is very short and mediocre.
S. W.
Really enjoyable pub resturant, good food and beer, a nice seating area at the front over looking the thames at putney. I would definatley recommend a visit to the blue boat.
C. T.
Nice Fuller's pub well sited on the Thames along a pedestrian area. Good beer, good food, and reasonable prices for the area. Modern but not too much, still warm and welcoming. A great stopping off point.
k. A.
Generous portions of food for the Christmas lunch. The salmon was very starter. The main meal of roast beef was delicious. Generous helpings of roast vegetables made is a well served meal. The atmosphere was warm. The river side view was ready good. The staff dotted all over us. Good experience.
m. n.
went there for to celebrate one of my friend's birthday. lovely place. friendly staff, always ready to help . Unfortunately when I was there was already dark, but I think is a beatiful view as the pub is next to the river Thames. They have as well a terrace, but in February not really good time to stay outside, I think very beautiful in the summer
J. D.
Nice pub/ restaurant in a fantastic setting!
D. K.
Came there for a team lunch. While the food was good, the service was far away from being attentive. The place was maximum 40% full but waiters were still struggling:forgetting to bring menu, confusing the dishes, we needed to call them a few times to get our order taken. At some point tbe waitress kind of shushed me as apparently I was speaking too quick for her to write tbe order down. Of course, no problem with asking me to slow down, but probably there are more polite ways to do that. In general, experience wasn't amazing, I won't come back.
S.
One of the best Sunday roast in London. Nice pub with friendly staff.
j. p.
Simply a beautiful place overlooking the Hammersmith Bridge. Very relaxing atmosphere. Covid precautions taken very seriously. Jose is absolutely delightful. Will definitely visit again when they open.
G. C.
A Fullers riverside pub restaurant with a friendly feel to it, a nice outside seating area with a wonderful view of the Thames and a Manager who genuinely cares about your experience at his establishment, it's a must visit if you are enjoying a walk along the river.
N. P.
Nice bar, patio furniture is a bit on the cheap side. More staff needed as garden area is overrun with empty plates and glasses. Ladies toilets need more attention, no toilet paper or blocked toilets. One of the better Pimms i have been served today.
B. A.
Lovely vintage and roomy decor inside and welcoming outdoor space . Breakfast was a pleasure with a nice variety of items along with freshly squeezed juices ( such a great healthy option) . This place is heavenly to find along the waterfront because it’s a combination of pub and upscale dining. Staff were particularly pleasant and friendly. As a Fulham Reach resident we will certainly be back !
K. P.
Always a great atmosphere? Good service and amazing location. Food is awesome
G. B.
Our waiter was super nice! And I loved the fact he overheard my conversation where I said I loved sticky toffee pudding and was sad it wasnt on the menu after which our waiter told us they had it on their speciality board that day!
N. J.
The Blue Boat has good wines. I haven't yet had a glass and thought that the bottle has been open for days. The view by the river with good outdoor seating facing the towpath is very pleasant in good weather.
Review update: I decided to try eating at the Blue Boat this evening and while I enjoyed the food I have to say the service was so indifferent as to be called rude. At the outset having asked for a table for one, I had to argue with the waiter who wanted to put me on a table for 4. After finally making it clear that there was only me, he told me I'd asked for a table for three. Yes probably English wasn't his first language but you don't need to be fluent to be polite and it didn't end there. His attitude continued to be unfriendly and functional and I felt quite uncomfortable. Getting the bill was the final insult. He managed to ignore me for 30 minutes before finally acknowledging me and binging the bill. Still not a pleasant word, no "hope you enjoyed the meal " or the like. I don't expect bowing and scraping or over attentiveness but in many years of eating out in London I can' remember such an unfriendly waiter. Sad because the food was good.
S. M.
I have been here once before, met up with friends. Its fairly large space, in and out door seating, good menue selection.
A delight being by the river, good selection of wine and beer, l imagine it can get busy after work hours. A lovely mix of sunshine and conversations topped off the visit.
D. M.
Beautiful place, excellent service and perfect view!
L. V.
The best feature of this pub is the location: right by the river and with a large external sitting area. Drinks are quite pricey and the food is far from special. Seats are always available, even during sunny summer days.
d. h.
Great selection of beer, cider and spirits. Lovely plot on the thames and in the summer is a heavenly spot to sip a nice cold cider whilst watching the world go by. Worth a visit if you are in the area especially on a lovely sunny day.
D. E.
Nice pub in the Thames. Good selection of beers and the food is ok!!!
B.
Beautiful spot for drinks after work. Heaps of rowers call this place home after being out on the Thames. Was a regular after work meeting spot and would recommend it.
A. Z.
It's a local gem which is always full of hustle and bustle; and the atmosphere is great whether it be you're indoors or outdoors enjoying the sun. We went on a weeknight for food and it was 15 mins until there were no food orders to be taken for outside, but we still weren't allowed to order. Which meant we had to move in when a spot became available. Food was good though, but needed more vegetarian options for the mains, and service was wonderful
J. R.
Love the cocktails, food is okay!
M. T.
Fantastic place for a drink or a meal. In spring and summer, come early so you can grab one of the coveted tables outside, with views of the Thames and Hammersmith Bridge. In autumn and winter, find a nice spot by the bookshelves for a cozy afternoon with friends. Excellent food.
C. N.
Delicious food and good service. After kindly asking to be moved away from children, waitress gives us a sarcastic tone and refuses. Then food took a long time to come in fact a couple had arrived after and finished before we even began eating. It has a good view of the Thames but you cannot actually see it without walking outside, also there is no service inside.
V.
Lovely place, mixed service. We were placed at a dirty table and asked three different people to no avail. Order was taken, food was delivered, and there was simply no getting away from using the dirty table. It was strange, as all other aspects of the place were great: riverside location, ambience, and quality of food.
R. A.
The venue is in a great riverside location and has good indoor and outdoor space. However, the service was dismal in terms of the length of time before a member of staff came to take an order and then not bothering with a follow-up. Also, the training is poor i.e. when somebody is unaware that you don't add milk to mint tea.
A. O.
I visited this restaurant last night, wasn’t too sure at the first glance, but our portuguese waiter Jose made it an unforgettable experience; gret service, prompt and efficient but never pushy or intrusive. I wish more waiters could have this approach. Thanks Jose. Food was ver nice but Jose’s approach made ut just something else. We will for sure cone back and hopefully you’ll be there as well Jose.
O. H.
Very smart bar in a riverside location. I was on a stag so didn't really get the full Blue Boat experience but it catered well for groups and has a good selection of drinks. Will return on a summer day for sure.
T.
Brilliant sunny pub which has a great view of Hammersmith bridge and the river, if you are tall or standing. Full of beautiful people on sunny days. Downside is that Fullers designed the bar and insides appallingly so the system collapses on busy days and it is impossible to get a drink.
j. A.
This really isn't my kind of place, but I really liked my visit here. Staff were friendly, the setting is the right amount of quirky as to be charming but not annoying, and the food and drink were both decent. It's a bit isolated out there, but it's a good spot if you're in the area.
J.
Nice location but the service was rather lacklustre. Ordered a burger with extra bacon and a fried egg, it was absolutely tastless with the exception of the egg and the occasional burnt scrap of meat.
A. A.
I met a friend I haven't seen in 30 years and the staff were so understanding and let us enjoy our 3 hour stay! The food was hot and delicious. Highly recommend lunch at The Blue Boat.
K. R.
my first time here and I've got to say it's got a pretty cool interior and it's right by the water. we came here after the boat race so it was pretty packed. the service was still friendly and quick though. we had dinner here too. I ordered the vegetarian roast that was served with a roast squash mushroom & cheese wellington. the serving size was large but unfortunately the gravy was so salty and the yorkshire pudding was like eating crisps. if it wasn't for the meal I'd give the blue boat 4 stars but for now it's 3 until I try this place again.
B. C.
Large modern pub next to the Thames. Really busy outside when it's sunny or Boat Race is on. Not the kitchen exhaust is at low level due to apartments above.
On my visit the food was over-cooked. Also all toilets were out of action with no advance warning before being sold fluids!
L. S.
It's got a lovely atmosphere and I imagine it's nice in the summer. I only had a coffee whilst killing a bit of time but the staff were great. I really like the decor and the food looked really nice, only wish I could have stayed to try it. Hopefully next time I'm in the area.
F. V.
Busy place but by the river and friendly staff
P. C.
One of my favourite pubs in London.
An essentially spot for when it's sunny. Have a cool glass of wine or a beer by the river. Good food. Good atmosphere. Watch people. Beautiful.
J. E.
Fullers pub.
Good beer. Good food.
Plenty of seating.
Expensive.
Management can be a bit snooty - they don't like football fans wearing colours once the weather improves and their custom picks up.
S. L.
Great place to eat on The Thames, lovely area and lots of activity on the river with the boat club close by
H. H.
Great atmoshere. Lovely setting by the river Thames. You cannot take drinks out though to sit on riverside. But still great for people watching. Food is good . Well run.
R. L.
Cute spot on the Hammersmith waterfront, it has great views especially if you get there early enough to watch the boat race. They have a surprising amount of space inside to sit down and a great patio when the weather is good. It's not the most convenient to get to by public transit which is why it usually ends up being mostly locals which is really nice.
before or after your dinner and a drink you can go for a lovely walk along the Thames which i's probably in the nicest part of London along the waterfront.
G. S.
Great food and service we will be back
R. T.
A nice selection of beer and food close to the river. The pub food is pretty standard but of good quality. The terrace facing the river is a nice place to sit in the summer and enjoy a beer or some wine.
B.
Great place. Vibrant, full of young and old. The Management and staff were really friendly, and the food and drink were of very good quality. Apparently they're starting a Gin club. THIS sounds very interesting.
P. G.
Nice place, cool decor, fantastic location. The only downside I can point out (and experienced this on few occasions) is a very slow service at the bar. We even left without a drink once after 20 min wait. If this could be improved on ...5th star will be coming your way
G. S.
I really like this pub, it reminds me my beautiful italian riviera. Nice atmosphere in the summer, tables outside and good choice of drinks. For a cold day there is quite a lot of space inside. Great at sunset, stunning view of Hammermisth Bridge
C. B.
Lovely venue to have lunch , after-work drinks. A good spot on the river a short walk from District/ Piccadilly line. Service was great thanks Sean !!
S. D.
This pub is facing the Thames and has been opened quite recently. There's a garden which closes quite early (10.30pm) but the party can keep going inside. A part of the pub is generally reserved for dinner. I would recommend it - maybe not on a windy day!

A pretty chilled bar/cafe/restaurant. Food is pretty good although a bit expensive. A great place to sit outside if the weather permits. One of the best places to be for the annual Oxford vs. Cambridge boat race.
R. B. H.
Nice simple pub near to Riverside. Recently I visted there during my river path walk. Tasty foods. Friendly staff with fast service.
F. J.
Nice Sunday Roast (Chicken; Nut Roast). Generous portion. Good for kids. Good for allergies. Good service. Great location. Nice ambience and decor.
V. A.
Good for a drink by the river. Service isn't the most friendly but never wait more than 10 mins. Decent selection of drinks/wine/beers. Keep going back only when I'm in Hammersmith and it's sunny...of course!
S. H.
Book a table inside for a cozy night with your friends and hurry it does get busy fast !
x
E. M.
A good vibe, chilled out, casual joint.. well spaced outside with nice flowers and great view etc. Food is average though, quite salty and lacks imagination.. The pricing is punchy for what it is. Good for maybe drinks & light snack rather than full meal.
A. A.
The Blue Boat is right at the river Thames. It has a lot of seating places which includes indoor and outdoors. I like the view of old Harrods Building across the river.
There is good selection of beverages and food.
The service is great.
N. C.
Airy, modern riverside Fuller’s pub opened in March 2015 with a large terrace area and outside seating to catch stunning sunsets from the spacious patio next to the river. But there must have been a pub on this site before because I remember the view across the river from here long before 2015. Inside there is an open-plan kitchen, with dining areas and ample drinking space around a very long zinc bar. Numerous downlighters from a high concrete ceiling illuminate black and oak wood finishes, white tiles, and display cabinets of nautical artefacts. In 2016 the pub was runner-up in the Fuller’s Griffin Trophy Best London pub category. I really like this one, despite being modern it is one of the best Hammersmith riverside pubs!
D. H.
Our favourite pub in London, huge selection of drinks and decent food as well as service. Riverside atmosphere is definitely an add-on to the experience with good weather.
A. S.
Good drinks would go again
A. B.
Nice, local for me pub, friendly staff, laid back decor, good outside space. Good spot for a drink, while doing by the river walk.
P. -. A. A.
Very nice and cosy place. We didn't book and they were busy but staff found us a place to seat and food was also very good. Will definitely come back again.
T. K.
4 stars for food, missing 1 star as staff need more training. Never inform what missing on the menu. Took my phone away for discount code instead of writing it down. Will be back to try more food.
C. B.
A relatively good place for fun night between colleagues..english food and cuisine.. the wine list is affordable and decent..staff is frendly and caring.. I was not impressed by the lamb meal though from the chef's signature
C. C.
Fantastic setting with a nice semi-private area available inside. Very modern and service for drinks at the bar was efficient. Would make a great place for hosting drinks for large groups.
H. M.
Such fantastic service! Loved the manager who gave a fantastic welcome induction and made me and my friends feel really welcome. Good service.
C. A.
Not bad, food is nothing to write home about but thr location on the River is nice. They were sold out of a lot of stuff. The staff are very nice and friendly.
G. T.
The food here is fairly average but it’s a great place to come for a drink if the weather is sunny! The people here are like vultures for the spare seats and tables though so be prepared to stand if you come!
S. W.
Nice setting right by the river, with decent enough ambience. Burgers are really good. First drink is on the house too if you register on their website.
k. k.
Lovely chilled out dining. Gets very busy though. Nice food. Good staff. Need more chairs!!!!
A. B.
Great venue, near the river Thames in Hammersmith. We chose this place for a business lunch and it did not disappoint. Food was tasty and service was good.
N. I.
Lovely pub with a modern menu in a picturesque location. Highly recommend a southerly walk along the river post meal to enjoy the sights of Fulham down to Craven Cottage (home of Fulham Football Club) and the enchanting Bishops Park. Nearest tube is Hammersmith.
M. M.
Good brunch and quiet on a Saturday morning .... beautiful place to start or and a walk along the Thames. Atmosphere and service with a smile makes you feel right at home.
J. P.
Lovely setting, friendly staff, well below par on beer quality...putting that lightly...didn't eat but the food did look pretty good as it passed by
N. S.
Great place for a sunset beer. The food could be improved in variety - actually quite disappointing in sharing options. Staff are correct, and the sunset is just amazing!
J. M.
Great location on the river. Fairly expensive as to be expected but plenty of space and food was good enough (basic pub food). I imagine it would get very busy when sunny and once more people know about it.
C. R.
Nice river views. Good beer selection. Not many seats inside that arent reserved for food.
G. C.
Nice food and pretty decor. The staff were not very helpful when they first told us we wouldn't need a reservation and realised they were all full when we arrived. They did little to help at first but made up for it afterwards.
L. A.
It has a great location but I can't help but feel that drinks are overpriced. Also the cider on tap doesn't quite hit the spot. The food was fine but nothing to write home about
J. F.
Good CV-19 measures in place. Table service was quick for the drinks we ordered.
D. H.
Good staff, lovely food
C. M.
One of the best places for Sunday roast. Amazing view of Thames, attentive staff and good food.
N. C.
Nice pub by the river, tastefully decorated, decent selection of beers and good food. It gets quiet in the winter but the terrace is really nice in the summer.
I. M.
Cool place for a lunch or to relax in the evenings, lounge furniture outside with a nice view on the canal. Also, very good choice of drinks and dishes, friendly service and international visitors.
L. F.
Pricey and with rather poor selection of drinks. Food is bareable. Staff is polite and helpful but tend to forget about you when you're dining in restaurant section.
N. T.
Food not bad, great atmosphere, nice location but staff need more training, didn't inform customers what they didn't have. Need the code from my voucher, instead of writing it down just took my phone and walked away.
S. D.
You'll pay closer to £6 for an ordinary pint here (which seems like daylight robbery) but it will come with some decent atmosphere and a river front view to patch the hole you've just punched in your wallet
A. S.
Beautiful pub with a scenic view of the river ahead. Tucked away from the crazy traffic in Hammersmith nearby. A definite go-to, especially in great weather.
D. M.
Great pub, good service despite the fact that it was busy
M. M.
Great service and very nice environment. I'd definitely recommend.
O. V.
Nice pub indoors and outdoors. Very chilled vibe during the day and dog friendly. Seemed to be frequented by locals who are nice and chatty.
j. k.
Nice location good beer but having the kitchen fumes venting on you in the beer garden is a very unpleasant experience. If this was addressed it would be a great pub .
S. G.
Great location, especially the outdoor area by the river. The food is good but wouldn't be amongst the top rated gastros.
S. L.
Took my fiânce at that time and husband now for his birthday lunch. A busy place on Sunday with fine food and good service.
g. k.
Above average breakfast. Must book if you are visiting with friend or company. Will not get your suit smelling like beans, if you know what I mean.
C. H.
Good food, good vibes and nice location
B. C.
Really like this place. Great atmosphere in the evenings and a great place to have Sunday lunch. You will be stuffed!
E. N.

B. M.
Nice pub with good service but very expensive
B.
Decent place, good outside area with table service. Inside spacious with separate dining area. Good sortiment of beer.
M. R.
Nice atmosphere, I like the aesthetic. Reasonable prices. Good drink selection. Also does food.
A. W.
Great service. Friendly staff. Will definitely go back!
A. R.
Great riverside venue with loads of outdoor space for a drink in the sun. Only downside is very few bar staff when it's busy.
A. K.
Nice enough, even if an artificial echo chamber indoors with expensive drinks. Greek share platter had tasteless feta, rocket leaves salad to bulk it up, and cold, thin tortilla-like pitta - how Greek is that?? Inexcusably, barman had to apologise as he was allowed to make an aperol spritz, but a campari spritz would have to be charged for each ingredient (thus like £20). Computer says no. Great way to lose business.
J.
Great staff and service. Don't agree with dogs being allowed to sit on the seats with paws on the table eating from the owners fork as I witnessed today.
W. H.
Nice seat by the river.
A. T.
Nice place, nice staff but had to stay after 9pm (if I remember well), during summer days, in order to do lot disturb the residents around.
M. M.
Lovely views and atmosphere. Weekends quite child and family heavy. Not a party place but great for drinks with a friend
C. P.
Not cheap prices, although food is tasty (not sure justified but close). A shame they don't make it clearer that xmass food has to be pre-ordered.
L. N.
Great spot on the river, over looking Hammersmith Bridge. The customer service and quality of food is second to none.
D. B.
Lovely spot for a couple of beers 🍻
S. P.
Nice location, decent selection of Ales and a good menu. Spent a day session drinking and enjoyed the outside seating area
:. :.
Great design and a warm atmosphere makes this the place to socialize. Situated by the Thames shores with an open view of Hammersmith bridge. An uplifting spot in the heart of fulham
N. J.
Good location by the river. Food has been consistently very average at best and overpriced. No lunch menu.
M. M.
The library section is out regular meeting place for out networking events. Good beer selection. Free parking in the evenings.
G. C. (.
Great pub and atmosphere. Glass of wine, some other drinks and food are expensive for my point of view!
M. K.

J. P.

The food was good.
