Reviews of The Bunch Of Grapes
E.
Location is nice right next to Harrods after some random shopping for gifts. Friend’s recommended place to try some classic fish & chips, cosy but thoughtful decors in details. Our choices of beer are both quite good, few light drinks make us feel very happy to be a Londoner and Break the Ice with new friends for sure. The crew is super efficient and very nice atmosphere, I like the back story from the pub, definitely very inspiring. Will visit again next time when I am around with my crew.

I had a bit of an issue when I first went with my father and son, I left my feedback and the Manager back to me very quickly and was very understanding of my issue. She gave me, my son and Dad a complimentary meal, as a way of an an appology. Not many companies would do that. And shows that they truly care about their customers.
Can't wait to come back as the atmosphere is great and the food I saw being eaten looked really good.
Great team, thank you for understanding.
A. P.
I had to ask for the name of one waitress in particular because she was OUTSTANDING! Her name was Klejda and she really took care of us. Even if there was a miscommunication with the order in the kitchen her warmth and the care she took to actually make sure that we get what we want was amazing!
The food as well was really good and not too pricey either! Definitely recommend this place!

We stopped off here for dinner after a long day of exploring London. The pub was only a 15 minute walk from the Natural History Museum 😁 The staff were friendly and welcoming and seated us straight away. The pub was clean and covid friendly.
I ordered their veggie burger for dinner, it was well presented and I think it has to be the best meat free burger I have had. I will deffinately be ordering that again when I visit a Greene King Pub in future!

What a amazing place!!! Clean inside and outside, food just amazing and sooo tasty...fast, friendly and polite staff members, we specially loved the guy serving us, Leo. Sooo funny, sooo chatty, just amazing, we wasn't missing single thing over here!!! Milion times coming back!!! Such an amazing place for any special occasions, we literally came to celebrate friend graduation, just a lovely experience ❤!!!
J. B.
1st visit and popped in just for a drink and we we loved it, the staff were very welcoming. Would go again as the menu looked great and good value.
S. T.
The staff are so accommodating and the ale is good and reasonably priced. Food lovely and the atmosphere is proper London pub. No TVs so no yobs. Thank you
A. T.
Nice pub with good beer. Pies were pretty terrible and stodgy like they were half cooked from frozen and similar with chips. Staff were nice and was a warm welcoming pub just food needs improving.
D. M.
Lovely old fashioned London pub with great selection of drinks and a very nice menu of traditional pub grub
Z. e.
Great atmosphere, london prices. Enjoyed our pint stop.
J. A.
For a central London pub, a short walk from the the museums or Harrods this has to be one of the best. The menu is varied and our food was fabulous. The best thing is the price . I've been to village pubs where the price of the food has been way more and not nearly as good. Bottles of drinkable wine starting at £19. Had a decent Chardonnah for £22. Add to that the attentive and excellent service . Would give it 6 stars if I could.
M. A.
Visited today for Sunday lunch, the food was great and the service from Leo and the team there was excellent. Leo is a real character and gave my daughter a flower before we left. Good food, good beer and great service. Would definitely come again.
D. T.
A great little pub on Brompton road. Plenty of beers to choose from (other drinks are unavailable) Good for food, there is a dining room upstairs as well as the bar downstairs. Lovely staff and a very pleasant atmosphere. Certainly worth a visit between museums. Indeed, instead of the museums, just a thought!
M. B.
Quick bite to eat after shopping at Harrod’s and pleasantly surprised. Such a nice and relaxing pub and the staff was kind and attentive. The meat pie was delicious and my husbands fish n chips was tasty but mine was better. Beer was good and cold....cheers!
J. K.
A really nice place food looks great but beware the beer is at London prices, ie 2 pints 12 .40.
M. P.
Very crowded! Place to be! we sat at the bar for a cocktail until they could seat us.. employees were extremely helpful
Food is yummy pub food and atmosphere is fantastic!!
A. L.
Stopped by for a drink; average prices/decent but what is really attractive about the place is how well maintained it is. The “snob partition” was kept in place. Avoid the “Biltong” as they’re just selling you packaged stuff. Food looks quite delicious and appears reasonably priced; would return to sample the grub.
C.
For the posh Knightsbridge area I believe this is the best pub around for commoners like me. I work nearby but in other pubs i don't feel like I fit there. Here in this one, I'm just another bloke sipping a pint. No 5☆ due to small bathroom for men, which becomes overcrowded very quickly.
R.
Nice pub. Food excellent and great drinks and atmosphere. Great staff too.
G. T. G.
Brilliant locale, awesome staff, exquisite food, boozy drinks 👌 10/10
T. T.
Very good. The chili dog was ridiculously huge and tasty I guess as my daughter nearly finished it before offering a taste. Having ordered fish and chips, I declined having filled up on the tasty chips. The fish was meh. The service and barkeeps top notch in the welcome.
j. m.
Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good selection of drink. A good old English pub.
Only downside, tried to order food but was told the kitchen was closed, yet food was still going to other tables
C. S.
One of the more decorous and traditional of the many hundreds of pubs in the area and on the Cask Marque Ale Trail.
Busy, but staff were quick and kept on top of things. Ale was in excellent condition and the hot home made Scotch Eggs a lovely accompanying snack
A. B.
We had the fish and chips and chicken and mushroom pie and everything on our plate was superb! Fish batter could’ve used a bit more salt but everything else was on point in terms of flavor and texture 😍
R. H.
Just great, hugely accommodating even though we'd said we only wanted a drink... we were found chairs and served with a smile! Food looked fabulous too!!
J. B.
Lovely old pub off Oxford Street, very old history and it has kept all the original Privacy boards/fixtures and fittings. Very popular
S. M.
Very pleasant staff and atmosphere for a few refreshments and food. Shared a few small sharing plates.....Very tasty food at reasonable prices 😁😁
B. C. E.
As soon as I walked in a huge group of friends were singing about one of theirs. Great atmosphere, great drinks. No a whole lot of space.
G. F.
Nice looking pub selling beer at London prices, the food is served in big portions and tasted great, loved the general feel of the place.
K. B.
Good food, and a great atmosphere! Really loved the traditional pub feel, look, and design. The food was tasty and the ciders we ordered were great as well. Good service and a lively environment. Would for sure go back again.
M. S.
Very friendly staff who where more than helpful. The pub was clean and nicely decorated in a very comfortable style. Plenty of different beers on draft and a reasonable selection of wines, red, white and rosé.
Plenty of very comfortable leather seats and benches to sit yourself on. They take card and cash.
I had a very tasty americano coffee. My only regret is that they could not do me a cappuccino.
The toilets where very clean.
E. H.
Went to the bunch of grapes in Knightsbridge today with my nephew who has cerebral palsy any had a fantastic day and the food was absolutely brilliant would definitely recommend this is anyone coming in to Knightsbridge
n.
Perfect location and great pub
A. P.
Nice choice of beers, even forgot that I need to eat, just started eating beers.
Friendly service, warm atmosphere, lots of people. Thank you for very cool evening!
N. H.
Great atmosphere and really helpful, welcoming staff -they get 5*. Unfortunately the food, although well priced, was only 2*. My sausages were over cooked and mashed potato was really dry and needed much drink to wash it down. The lasagne again rather over cooked.
W. S.
Popped in for a drink to escape the rain en route to The Science Museum. Had a lovely old fashioned feel to it in the way that it is laid out inside. The wine was reasonably priced.
m. s.
This place was perfect, all I wanted was a quiet spot where I could have a few drinks, do the crossword and while away an hour or 2 in London. I had a table by the window so I could watch people running around Knightsbridge, I had a very reasonably priced and tasty ciabatta and chips and even managed to charge my phone! The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. I especially liked the 3 gin and tonic for £12 and they had a huge selection. Great example of a well run city pub (from a country landlady! ; p)
W. D.
During my work hours I popped in to this cute pub to get my lunch to go rather in a hurry. However, I was greeted and offered a table by a very hospitable and friendly staff member called Leo whom later turned out to be the manager of the place. He and his team was extremely busy but it was obvious to myself how efficiently and friendly they looked after all the customers in that short period of time I was in to collect my lunch which turned out to be a lovely meal in that lovely pub. Thank you Leo and the team! Amazing food and great customer service!
M. M.
Great food, great prices, great service!
Y. 0.
A great atmosphere and location. Excellent, lovely, very efficient staff. A wide selection of beers - craft and cask. And the food is delicious. Totally recommend
F. P.
A small but nice, typical pub near to Harrods. Music is OK and not to loud. The members of service are a mixture from all over Europe and of course they are all friendly. Beer range is absolutely OK. The prices are like in others pubs like this. #probeergourmet
j. l.
God service vert nice atmosphere very good prices for london. tasty food
D. T.
Just like returning to this place for years, lovely cosy place, great and we always have great gatherings!
R. W.
While we were there the music was quite loud and thumping, we had to speak up to be heard over it and other customers on other side of pub were loud and cackling like a hen party.
However the food was delicious, the pie and chips fantastic and the chicken in ciabatta was lovely. They served it first with chilli but replaced it with no problem when my friend said she reacted badly to the chilli.
Staff very friendly and effective.
l. c.
Great stop off pub for a drink between shops, stopped for 2, well rude not to when not driving. Would visit again. Staff were nice and friendly
k. M.
Enjoyed it in here very much. Friendly staff and the kids were welcome too. Great location....a proper London pub.
M. B.
Nice traditional pub, had a good cheesecake
j. A.
Called in on way back from museum's great pint of real ale could have stayed all day!
J. H. E.
Not bad for a british meal. A little bit expensive but it's London. The lunch room is nice, full off space and good service
D. M.
The bunch of Grapes seen a lovely local pub. It need a bit of refurbishment. Staff seen very nice with excellent customer service.
K. G.
Cute old but small pub in South Kensington/Knightsbridge. V near Harrods, and other top end stores, cafes and restaurants - so good to pop into while doing a bit of shopping etc. Just round the corner there's a new and highly recommended boxing gym as well - called BoxCentric - in case you are a resident around here and want a bit of a workout before a pint! Has efficient table service during Covid - not too expensive either. Would recommend!
P. M.
Popped in for a couple after dinner nice bar 🍸 👌
G. S.
Awesome gin flights, service and friendly staff. Great place to hit after walking around the museums, not super expensive, but the food was very good and it's located really close to Harrods and the V and A museum.
M. T.
Cool pub with fascinating interior. Friendly staff. Had a nice cyder and a burger. Ideal for a quick stop before visiting the Science or Natural history museum.
d. a.
Food service could be better, staff were rushed and not focused on customer care. Everything felt a little chaotic and the air conditioning system was kicking out enough cold air to put Alaska to shame.
r. l.
Hand crafted beer and awesome beer battered fish and chips. Can be rather crowded over lunch so make sure you have a reservation
G. V.
Great staff, excellent food
A. F.
Good traditional pub food at reasonable prices for London
S. D.
Some very embarrassing women were complaining about a payment which didn't go through and were yelling at the staff, the staff handled it very professionally and my only regret is not saying anything at the time. After the women left (without paying because 20 quid was obviously a huge sum of money to them) all the patrons in yhe pub had a laugh about it and said what we were thinking, if only it had been at the time! We recieved our food which was great, great beers and great service. Can recommend to all to swing by for a drink, cheers!
L. D. W.
Quaint London pub with a good selection of drinks and friendly staff
S. “. R.
Fantastic pie and chips for lunch, very friendly staff, top notch service :)
S. J.
Very nice bar! Lovely staff!
A. A.
Good pub and well priced for the location. Great staff who are friendly and helpful.
S. S.
Excellent meal in very pleasant surroundings
O. K.
Stopped in for a beer with a friend. Not too busy on a rainy Saturday afternoon though all tables on the ground floor were taken. Bar staff lady on ground floor was polite, had a smile and was quick to serve. Decided on food.
Went to the upstairs dining area. Plenty of tables and great service from the table service lady (with a smile too). Chicken pie was tasty and filling!
The only criticism I have is a lack of real vegetarian choice. Menus aren't clearly marked with this too. But this place gets 5 stars on the service alone. Well done!
E. R.
The food was só delicious and The Workers are very lovely. By @gritodeliberdade_
E. E.
Really lovely pub in the heart of London, friendly staff and great food what's not to love 😊
T. A.
Very nice location. Interior also good and homely. Seemed to be a good selection of drinks available. Stopped by for a drink on a gloomy Saturday afternoon, so to have such slow service when it wasn’t heaving was a bit surprising - I witnessed at least 3 sets of customers leave because they were simply not attended to. With at least 3 staff on, it shouldn’t be that difficult, but they seemed more focused on doing other things (tidying up?) so much they didn’t notice people wanting to be served.
Can’t argue with the location. Shame really. I hope the service was just a one-off.
M. Z.
Great Food, nice beer and cider.Stuff is very friendly and helpfull.Prices a good for London. Best fish and chips around.
J. W.
Not a big beer selection, but some good ones from local breweries. The food is great. Great pub food with some novelty built in. We are visiting London for a week and have had dinner here 4 times because it is so good! We thought about some other spots around the Victoria and Albert, but why mess around. Our go to spot, because after hitting the sites around London, we want our comfort food.
S. A.
Super cozy pub with good food, outstanding service from nice and friendly staff.
E. M.
Litte Gem....Great pub and fantastic food...Will be revisiting soon
J. H. T. V.
La one the biggest and amazing museums that I ve ever been.
m. f.
I’ve been visiting this place for 20 years. The choice of Ale’s isn’t great. But the service is very good and so is covid compliance. We had a spot of food which was also pretty good. Toilets could do with a spot of TLC.
R. H.
Lovely traditional pub in Knightsbride between Harrods and the V&A. The Guinness was exceptional. Nice mixed crowd. Quiet place to relax. Didn't try the food but it looked and smelled delicious.
c. s.
Fab little pub. Friendly and nice atmosphere
H.
Super friendly staff - great service. Tasty and well cooked food.
J. G.
One of my favourite pubs in the Borough market area. Great atmosphere and friendly staff along with an interesting selection of local and international beers. Well worth a visit!
I. L. T.
Great food, great pint, friendly welcoming staff
D. M.
Great food good selection of lager
A. D.
Lovely atmosphere to this pub, with a big selection of flavoured gins and Camden brewery on tap. In a great location very close to Harrods so a nice spot for a rest and a drink after shopping. The food menu looked nice too and the prices weren't too horrendous!
S. L.
Average food and service at best
K. H.
Nice pub with traditional vibe.
M. L.
Friendly service. Good choice of real ales and ciders. Quite noisy, but that may be because we visited on a bank holiday Monday evening. The interior is a bit lived-in, and we felt the food portions were rather too small.
t. c.
Stones through from Harrods, friendly staff and good pricing on drinks, been Green King pub!!!
e. p.
nice place good beer but food is not so good
C.
Nice food and reasonably priced for it's location. The staff were efficient, particularly the bar manager (I think). It was very busy when we were there and she maintained excellent customer service and was friendly and welcoming.
B. G.
Olde worlde pub with easy going atmosphere. Typical fayre served in good time and with a smile
N. B.
Very relaxed atmosphere...loved the sweet potato kofta 👏🏼
D. S.
Very authentic London pub, cosy and inviting. Food was lovely and staff on duty on Saturday (13/01/18) were very pleasant. Will definitely call again when we are visiting London. Good range of real ales, very good quality and well kept.
A. D.
Nice pub, good selection of beer.
D. S.
Yip, good boozer. Quality food. Staff great. Covid formalities stopped a 5 🙄
E. K.
Nice place to stop for a drink or some pub food. Excellent range of beers and spirits. Busy place so could take a while to be served but staff do the best they can. Always pop in for a drink when in London.
P. G. S.
Great pub.
Just a bit typical though, nothing too special.
Selection of beers and ales was okay.
I didn't try the food, but it seemed like most people were there for the food
A. P.
I had the best beer of my life. The must visit place.
J. M.
Not at all what I expected from a greene king pub! Located very close to the natural history museum and the V&A, the pub is classy and has a lovely team/atmosphere. The food was fantastic and excellent value considering the area. Will be going back next time I'm in the area!
T. T.
Great food and friendly staff
A. D.
Great traditional pub not far from the gaudy Harrods. Lovely dark wood furnishings, though open plan as is usual. Busy at peak times of course as it's on the main Road. Good atmosphere of local residents and workers, and I'm sure the occasional tourist too.
J. S.
Been coming to this pub for years. I've seen it change quite alot over the years, some change has been good and some not so good. However it's still one of my favourite places to visit. Certainly worth a visit if you're in the area. The restaurant upstairs is lovely and the food is decent pub grub.
P. M. C.
I used to go here regularly many years ago and it hasn't changed one bit. Traditional pub decor; lots of dark wood. Rammed with people in the evening (when I visited) but staff attentive and was quickly served. Beer selection was OK. Well positioned for the museums.
E. F.
Good food but bathroom wasn't functioning
S. G.
I love this place. On the Brompton Road not too far from Harrods and Harvry Nic's. First came here 13 years ago with my Mrs and every time I go to London I make an effort to get there.
Traditional decor, quite small and cosy the staff are great, friendly and professional, service is fast and friendly and of course the beer and food are good too. Pop in and say hi, have a pint and and a burger and watch the world go by.
A. Y.
great food and sharer's menu;
L. T.
Nice little boozer staff were friendly beer was good
F. B.
Staff and atmosphere lovely great place for a drink. However had fish and chips here and the batter was quite oily and th portions a bit small to say we paid for a large there weren't many chips and have had better - for a local drink and bar snacks it's a great place
S. L.
This is a friendly pub with very good food (if slightly on the small portion side). The staff are attentive with prompt service. Prices are reasonable too (for a london pub). Definitely worth a visit. Make sure you get a seat before ordering, as it gets busy.
T. W.
Nice pub in an otherwise expensive area. But the food was poor, with burnt sausages and microwaved mashed potatoes. The kitchen staff need to slow down a bit and pay more attention to the meals rather than rushing them out.
L. L.
When in the area visit the Bunch of Grapes. Lovely traditional London pub. Great staff & food good. This will always be our first port of call after arriving to start our day out in London. See you again soon 🍇
A. N.
Friendly staff and the cocktails were really good. I really liked their "Violet" cocktail.
R. H.
What a bunch of grapes! As a purist I stayed with lager and deliciously greacey fish'n'chips. Was a tough one to decide as the banger and mash looked very tempting. Next time maybe. A pub in this area is as hard to find as a church in Baghdad. Great service, guys. Keep the taps flowing and the fishes frying. Good stuff!
G. B.
Top class pub and restaurant staff could not be nicer top class
E. G. E.
Whenever we are in London attending the V & A Museums’ latest exhibition, we always visit the Bunch of Grapes afterwards for relaxing drinks and an accompanying meal before the commute home.
The atmosphere is always convivial and the food good quality pub fayre.
Our thanks on this occasion go to the lovely staff Isa and Tracy.
See you all again before Christmas.
G. V.
Beautiful pub, great location, friendly staff, however, if you order a soft drink, best to skip on the ice because that'll fill your glass for over half. Also can't recommend the ceasar salad, the ingredients aren't that great/(fresh?) and the croutons seem more like stale bread, try the fish and chips instead.
D. D.
Absolutely lovely pub with a calm, cherry attitude and a good selection of drinks and food. The staff are fantastically attentive and the place is practically spotless. Honestly one of the nicest pubs I've been to in London.
H.
We had the fish and chips and the ale pie, and both were delicious. The staff was friendly, and as a visitor in England, the pub decor was charming. The music was a bit loud, but that's my only complaint.
B. R.
Was the best of all London food service and we got to meet the Godfather
J. M.
Great pint selection and awesome food the staff are also extremely helpful and friendly. All in all a very well run pub 👍
S. V. d. A.
Gorgeous pub with good food and drinks. A breath of relaxation in the busy street. From a certain area on in the pub, you have to order your own food and drinks. A waiter will then bring it to you.
M. F.
The place is very nice and clean, near to Harrods, the food is very good, we recommend it
G. B.
Solid pub just up from the Natural History Museum and the V&A. Wehad a few pints here, a local brew and a Beavertown Neckoil. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The beers were crisp and fresh. We ordered chips for about 4 pound, they were skinny and a bit overdone.
S. W.
Glad to see this pub is still open, lovely ambience, good food and service.
D. W.
Great food been here several times whilst visiting London for the day.
C. D.
Our local, very nice ales, decent pub food, and of course pricier than other less posh areas of london. Gets crowded friday evening, so can take a but to get ur order in. Generaly friendly staff and pelnty of space to sit and chill, including whole upstairs eating areas.
S. R.
Great typical old London pub with good service and nicely presented drinks.
Always busy but usually manage to get a table to sit at after a few minutes.
N. S.
It's a nice pub with an old school type feel to it and not too rowdy. Was nice to sit with the other half and her brother to enjoy a beverage after a long day exploring and shopping.
B. G.
10oz Angus rib eye for 13.45 and burger under 9 quid in Knightsbridge felt quite right. Food was good, mum at the bar friendly and clean taps. Nice atmosphere. Escape Harrods and find a seat here. Highly recommend a bite and and pint!
J. A.
Pleasant local pub. Not a grape in sight!
M. S.
Good Fish & Chips as well as an excellent Pie. See "classical menus".
T. J.
Really good service from friendly waitress. Nothing too much trouble.
Not huge portions and no fancy side bits but good food and reasonably priced for the city.
I. K.
Good food, kind service
L. T.
Bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was very quiet when we walked in, maybe 3 other people in there but I had one of the best G/Ts with gin i cant get at home.
M. C.
Great, ideal for predrinks before a show
M. W.
Lovely helpful staff nice crisp pint of lager
P. R.
Cosy pub with nice layout and decor. Let down by the bar staff. They were particularly abrupt and super aggressive with their ID policy so be warned if your in a group with anyone under 25. Disregarding the ID issue, staff still weren't very friendly or polite.
M. D.
I was really let down by the service in this pub. I ordered a negroni but the waiter said she didn't know if the drink was on the menu. I pointed out that it was and then she asked to another waiter to help. At the end I had my negroni which was not really good. The place is nice and well kept but the service not good enough
I. R.
Very tasty food, wide ranging menu
W. M.
Very solid pub. Food was excellent. Recommend the halloumi and chips. Three or four cask ales, but must are pale. Nice interior, staff ok.
K. W.
Classic London pub. Now owned by Greene King and very well managed. Good selection of beers. Popular with locals and tourists. Highly recommended
Ä.
Great pub friendly staff definitely head over there again
T. B.
Great service, nice food, good beer and drinks, only fault l can say is the tables up stairs are a bit to squashed together, fealt like l was sharing with the next table, but really worth a visit
R. H.
Amazing food and great atmosphere! Loved it!
N. J.
Nice pint, decent service
A. M.
Yeah, that was the pub style i was searching for in London. Met nice people having their after work drink there. Good beers, good food. I had a grat evening there. Will definetly come back during my next visit to London.
S. r.
Lovely pub convincent for a visit to Harrods, Hawksmoor and the Royal Albert Hall. Very cosy and a good selection of drinks. Wish there was more space to sit. Didn't try the food but looked very popular.
G. V.
Very good experience in a very well located site. Very good price quality ratio
R. C.
I'm not generally a fan of Greene King, but to have such friendly staff in a central London location is refreshing. Even on a busy Saturday there was still a comfortable atmosphere, nothe achieved by the carbon copy decor of the chain, but by the staff running it.
R. L.
Fish and Chips followed by Sticky Toffee pudding and Vanilla bean ice cream is amazing. Great friendly staff... can be very crowded at timed
P. B. O.
Not a better time has been had than when the fellows and I sung songs of old over pints of frothy ale and liver sandwiches a plenty by the hearth of the old grape. Tis my favourite tavern the old grape you see and many a tale has been written upon these ale-soaked walls! Ahahahh yesss a jolly time indeed!
N. H.
Tried the festive pie. Highly recommended.
Good choice of beers (plus fizzy p*ss for those who don't drink beer) serves a good prosecco by the glass.
VERY helpful staff
S. B.
So, it's 1973, and my dad kidnaps me from nursery school with a plan to hide me at the Bunch of Grapes. I was going to live there for six months after which he'll sneak me out the country and return to Kenya with him. Unfortunately for my love of white beaches and beach bars, a couple of policeman tackled him and returned me to my rightful owner.
For years, I've been meaning to pop in for a drink to check it out. After all dad was an expert, so I'll trust his judgement and give it 5 stars ahead of my visit.
D. M.
Great pub. Staff friendly and food/drink is great. Beware of beggars though. Family had mobile phone swiped by one
J. P.
They had an amazing mango cider. The atmosphere was cozy and they have a great meal selection, but it took us a few minutes to find a seat.
A. F.
We loved the beer! 🍻
J. I.
Fast friendly service.Nice clean ladies loos too.
M. O.
Nice friendly staff, old style pub, food prices great, drinks prices steep, but it is 100ft from harrods so with rents in this area you can't blame them.
a. W. s.
Good atmosphere and chatty friendly staff.ended up talking to a couple next to us for ages and had a right good laugh.
If you are a fan of pink Floyd the experience is on at the museum 2 minutes from here.

Visited today after seeing a special exhibition at the V&A with my fussy husband. After being frustrated at the lack of seating within the V&A cafe, we decided to venture out down the Brompton Road for lunch. The Grapes is covered in beautiful glassware on the walls, all original, which points to a history as a former gin palace. Beer was clean and moreish, two Greene King (owners of the pub) ales, two London ales, good selection of continental and international lagers on tap and by the bottle. Food was cooked fresh, downstairs typical pub fayre, upstairs a dining room with waitress service. Food was of good quality and passed my husband's critical tastebuds. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely re-visit if ever back in the area.
I. S.
We popped into this lovely pub for a couple of drinks.
The atmosphere was cosy and lively.
Excellent choice of local draft beers and ales, friendly and attentive service.
C. Y.
Lovely atmosphere, family friendly .
L. W.
Food was great prices have crept; up about over the last couple of years but worth it. Always busy and there is sometimes a wait for food, but I think that's a good thing😁 shows the food is good

MY FATHER TOOK ME TO THIS PUB,FOR THE
FIRST TIME IN 1953, HE USED IT ON A REGULAR BASIC, WE LIVED 100YDS AWAY IN BROMPTON

ONE OF HIS STAFF HAD AN ACCIDENT.

Busy during lunch hours, which is understandable. But I think I might've had the best chicken in my life, I can't really complain!
R. N.
A small place to sit together and have a chat, sent there as it was closer to the south kensington station and we were just roaming around.
Would have been better but the food is a bit expensive so just had drinks.
Avoid going in peak hours......
T. L.
This is a great typical old British Pub. Good food and drink with excellent friendly service, do not walk past ! Well done guys and girls.
S. H.
Very nice pub in knightbridge
Serve a good selection of drinks - not cheap but it is knightbridge - then again not outrageously Hugh either
Food is food and fairly quickly served
I had a chicken and mushroom pie last time and very tasty and worth the money
Premises are clean and tidy including the toilets which is a bit plus for me
Not too busy when I have been there
They have plenty of seating both ground floor and at first floor
Worth a visit

Not bad green King pub
D. W.
So quaint with a real traditional feel, decor original so some seats did not have much padding and could do with re-upholstery but loved the wooden partions. Great location
C. L.
A nice pub near Harrod's. Burgers are great! I've been there 1.5 years before: the place itself and the quality of food did not change

A nice bar near harrods in London, jumped in for a quick drink as it was raining, found a table easily enough and enjoyed half our drink until some rather rude French tourists asked us to move so they could sit together, not even offering alternative seats to us, the cheek, the bar was very clean and the staff friendly.
J. S.
Nice atmosphere, and lovely old interior. The service was friendly and quite quick considering how busy it was. Difficult to get used to London prices though.
M. A.

Had the So called Big fish and chips and was a bit disappointed with what they served up. I basically paid a extra £3 for three white baits which was ridiculous!
