Just had a fantastic evening at The Castle Inn!! Thank you to Jon Ward and his bar staff for accommodating a school reunion where friends and I were able to catch up. We had the raised back area of the pub specially reserved for us. Great atmosphere, drinks and food on hand that contributed to such a memorable event. Returning end of January 2022 as we were so happy about the venue. Great parking outside and down side streets, easily accessible for those travelling on public transport. Looking forward to returning again!

This is a great local pub! Staff are brilliant and really friendly. John the landlord does a fantastic job with his pub and always greets his guests with genuine friendliness and appreciation! Good food and drinks and a really well maintained establishment! It's back garden is a hidden gem and this place still holds true to what a local pub is, serving the local community. A thumbs up from me.

Incredibly tasty vegan roast dinner and amazing staff. Brill selection of vegetables and a crunchy premium nut roast with BIG nuts. And no issues when I asked for extra gravy 😉.

Great place to get a decent poured beer and a meal. Burgers have fantastic meat in them, well recommended. Try the sweet potatoe fries. Well trained and informative bar staff that make you feel welcome. Pity about the guy in the T Shirt with F..k Boris on it - fully spelt out. Obviously got it wrong - should have been Cameron who is making Mega bucks money out of this book right now! Hope guy is not studying politics. If you are a student maybe widen your vocabulary a bit and drop the expletives - you could get a punch in the face from someone offended in the street.

Must admit that we haven't been here for years, no particular reason, just haven't been. Six of us went for a lunch time meal and 5 of us were very happy. They were doing a roast on the Bank Holiday Monday, so really appreciated and was lovely. The others ranged from burgers, which were really good and tasty and the Nacho's (shared by two) were very good as well. Only the veggie burger let the show down, it wasn't really as advertised and was under cooked on the inside, so hard and bitty. Service was fabulous and the staff were friendly and helpful, so full marks. So would recommend that you try this place out. Prices were reasonable even without the Eat out to help out.

Amazing. Just amazing. Delicious food, super nice staff, great surroundings, cold drinks, lovely garden, there isn't a single negative. Our first time, Sunday lunch, we had a whole chicken which was so well seasoned and accompanied with such a variety of vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkie's. Big shout to our waitress Katie who went well beyond the required to make our meal great. First of many visits to come for us.

It was my first time at the pub, and went just to meet friends after work. Ended up staying until late chatting with the staff and John, the manager, a very friendly and sociable man, with quite a bit of knowledge of the business too. Only our second time to this pub, we decided to go for food yesterday for the first time, thinking we would give the Sunday Roast a go. We are massive foodies and have lived in Ealing for 8 years and eaten in most of the pubs in the area and we can safely say, this was the best roast we have had so far.... the meat was absolutely delicious, the roasties a triumph and 3 large ones each..... the best thing for me was 5 different veggies and they all had such great flavour... the honey glazed carrots, the salty kale, the peppery butter nut squash, the cheesy, creamy cauliflower cheese and the huge, tasty parsnips.... and what topped it off, the extra gravy boat you get, without even asking!!!! i cannot stand a roast without enough gravy!!!!! Great value for money, decent portions, and absolutely delicious... neither of us left a single thing!!!! The pub is welcoming, homely, nice background music that’s not too loud, candles and flowers on every table, very friendly staff, board games to play and the absolute best thing, doggy friendly with a smashing little beer garden. We will definitely be back... 11 out of 10!!!

Fantastic pub - brilliant food in reasonable time with a fantastic atmosphere, so Ealing. Chef deserves a medal, had a veggie roast which was delicious, all too often we're left as an after thought but no, this was fabulous. My father assures me that the beef too was fabulous! Had the best Sunday roast lamb meal here a few days ago. Mix of veg, plus the roast pots & yorkshire, extra schooner of rich gravy, succulent meat. All good perfectly. The tops! Staff excellent. Restaurant food in a pub - so London Pride beer on tap.

The team at the castle made us feel very welcome this Easter Sunday, Jon recommended their new chicken sharer and it did not disappoint! Very reasonable for a whole roast chicken dinner that very comfortable will serve 4 very hungry people! And as always, the beer was great!

A modern but atmospheric pub, very welcoming, and really has something for everyone. Drinks, food, board games, quiet corners, garden, dog friendly. Weekly quiz and karaoke. If you order food you must try the chorizo burger, it's a corker. Staff and landlord very friendly. Can't fault it!

Had an amazing afternoon in the beer garden tended to by Aggie from behind the bar who was more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure our table was happy with our meals. Would highly recommend for sunny afternoons with friends or family. Food is a stripped down menu which ensures that each meal is on point.

Title says it all really. Came in for a bite to eat and tried one of their Six Nations burgers (a special they do every year) and despite my patriotism I opted for their Scottish venison burger with Haggis. Amazing value for money and such a unique burger I hope it stays on the menu full time! Drink selection was great too as a ale fan I opted for the Darkstar Hophead and it’s clear they keep their systems well maintained as it was one of the most refreshing pints I’ve had in a while.

This pub is an absolute favourite. I highly recommend signing up to their e-mails,always offers coming through on the latest ales from the Fuller's brewery. As well as great beers and atmosphere you'll also find great food here I cannot recommend this pub highly enough.

I had my 30th birthday at The Castle Inn over the weekend and I cannot recommend these guys enough. From start to finish, they were excellent and could not have been more helpful. They catered for every need and Jon & all his staff were friendly and proactive. Everyone had a brilliant time so if you're thinking of having a party in Ealing, this is the place to go!

Met my friend for lunch and we sat in the small but very quaint garden, menu offers were a tad sparse for a lunch time, they do a special deal of sandwich and a soft drink which we ordered, as we already had alcoholic drinks we said not to worry about the soft drinks but that was a no no, the till says we have to make it and that is that, strange! I ordered the fish finger sandwich which was unfortunately not very nice as it was just two large lumps of fish in very greasy batter. My friend had the ham sandwich which she enjoyed so 50/50 to be honest.

I visit the castle in on 2 occasions now around lunch time and I was amazed to find out how beautiful their garden is! Perfect place to go out in a sunny day and just feel like u are in a holiday! GT good price! Both times I eat Chorizo burger (only £7) so tasty I will definatly recomend! Staff there are very kind and attentive! There is also a large number of board games available if u wanna kill some time with your friends or read a book from their nice collection! THERE is a TV in the garden as well so whenever u wanna watch a game here u go smokers!

Excellent open-mic night that runs every other Thursday (I believe). Very high standard in my experience, multiple styles, interchanging groups, basically a high quality jam session with mostly amateur talent who could easily be professional. Worth a stop !

This is a brilliant place in Ealing Perfect for a Sunday games afternoon or just a Sunday lunch with the family or friends. Very dog friendly and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly too! The atmosphere is very easy going.
