For a pub that is surrounded by theater and other tourist attractions, plus the occasional old style pub, I cannot fault the Comedy Pub. Decent selection of tap beers, ales and spirits, we enjoyed Havana club and Punk from the tap. Staff were engaging and friendly n fun. Friends have enjoyed the sports on TV here Toilets relatively clean, considering the public access!

I love the vibe in this pub! Shelby and Lauren are so welcoming and friendly. The drinking glasses are extremely clean and sparkly. I even asked if they polished them 🥰 and the chicken strips are to die for 😋

Lots of interaction with the audience (don't sit near the front as you may get picked on) :-D Was a bit disappointed that Jasper Cromwell-Jones wasn't performing but that could have been due to the weather - he was the comedian I really wanted to see but on the whole, a great night as all the comedians were good. A great welcome and wonderful selection of drinks. The manager very chatty and full of local knowledge, lovely place to take time out and have a relaxing beer or two. Didn’t eat on this occasion but will certainly be back.

The comedy on Mondays and the drop in Acting class are two great reasons to come to this lovely venue. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the pub does food in the evening to support the many events that run here. Only a minutes walk from Picadilly station.

Fantastic! Got tickets last minute and what a great evening we had....Dane Baptist e, Finn Taylor and Chris McCausland all brilliant.....but the star was the MC Tom Webb who was hilarious and kept the gobby ones in check!

Really good mixed bag of acts as expected, food drink fine nice pub downstairs, a club in the basement. So why 3 stars, well I thought it might be just me but it wasn't as everyone in my group bar one had the same complaint. The chairs upstairs were tightly packed in, fair enough they want to maximise their space especially comingnout of hard times, I will let that slide. BUT the seats themselves became tortuously painful to sit on for more than ten or so minutes straight, I didn't think sitting could be so paniful.

Amazing place to watch sport, or just enjoy drink with friends. It doesn't look big, when you walk in, but there's another two floors. Sports bar on 1st floor, where you can really enjoy the atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Didn't need to wait for our food for very long and it was delicious. Great bar

The Standup Club yesterday felt like a evening with old friends I hadn't met for a long time. It was wonderful and the room echoed with laughter and light hearted funny jokes lit candles of pure joy of being together. Recommended for anyone who hasn't had a good laugh during the week and an opportunity to drench with positivity. Sub plot- Singles in for mega prizes especially from Norway! All you need is a little zest in life. The Stand up comedy has it all under one roof! Farah

What looks like a normal pub on the outside is actually huge on the inside with a number of floors, catering to the live comedy which is a great way to spend an evening. The ground floor bar area is decent enough with a good range of drinks and reasonable prices given the area of London. The only toilets we could find were a long trek but fortunately clean and presentable enough. Staff were friendly there’s a good amount of seating and the atmosphere was great. It’s a good option for a drink in the area.

This was a nice old style pub. The pub is fairly large considering its central location and not too busy. We went here mid afternoon at the weekend before going to the cinema. There were a few large TV screens around the pub making this a good place to watch sport. I did not go but they have stand up comedy upstairs sometimes.

Visited bar and had some meals. Staff was friendly and food was very good. Meal is slightly more expensive but burgers are amazing for 12 pounds, I recommend ultimate burger for meat lovers. Place was not that busy on saturday night so we found a space for a meal. Was good, 4 stars just because of the toilet upstairs, where just 2 of them are there, one was broken and one with door on the floor. Maybe there are also other toilets

It got too crowded and busy as one of biggest political marches in UK history came near it and customers responded by taking their drinks to an open First Floor, only to be told later this was actually a forbidden act. However it still managed to have some beer and a few snacks left.

Fish and Chips - must try, you won’t get disappointed, looking for this traditional dish. Nice centered location, lovely surroundings. Personal is helpful and friendly, pricing quite reasonable. Place is spacious and has really fresh air (you don’t find it always in pubs!), so I really enjoyed my lunch here.

Not so much comedy, more like heaving, well to be fair it was a saturday, and it was very very busy, thing is which pubs arent busy on a saturday!!. just off leicester square, thought we might get a quick pint, the beer was ok Camden Hells Lager, and Camden pale, I prefer the pale to be honest.. the staff were great and speedy, can't complain. would I enter here again?, yes I probably would, does it stand out for anything? if it does I didn't see it... this time!. but good beer and good service, that's the main items you want in a pub anyway, so for that it's worth stopping by, at least we got in, most pubs in this area were stacked out...

It's okay. Quite the small seating area, especially if there is a show upstairs and you don't have any tickets. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side, but they pour 4cl by default. Staff didn't really listen to us when we were ordering. It seemed the conversation with their team members was more interesting to them, which caused our order to be wrongly executed.

The Comedy Pub was one of my few highlights during my stay in London. As a class from austria we celebrated our last day in there and are satisfied with the quality it offeres and since Chelsea played against Frankfurt it was the perfect opportunity to watch it as a community! For that reason I definitely recommend this pub.

Previously had my stag do here, and honestly could not have faulted the staff or the venue, I had previously read some reviews on this place that did initially put me off so I got in contact with Andy , who looked into the reviews and lines of communication were always open there was definitely no sloppiness going on at all if you get the chance then go to this venue I promise you will not be disappointed Andy and the team thank you for making my stag do awesome !!!! Had a fun night at this cosy 100 seater venue, the line-up is always funny and the staff are always as humerous as the acts. Reasonable bar prices and you're round the corner from Leicester Square so there's always something to do for that all important night cap!

Central location. The comedy was a bit hit and miss. altho when the place was laughing, the roof was coming off. Food was good pub grub and the little club area after was ideal for a little boggie. I was there with a group of 16 for a hen and generally had a great time. Only disappointment is all up or down stairs and as I have trouble with mobity was a struggle altho a few bevies helped.
