Reviews of The Cow
P. M.
Place is super expensive. Nice place and staff but is way too expensive, even for London. Staff is friendly but you cannot pay 3 pints and a single gin and tonic over £30. I would not go back for a drink.
I. M.
Went in on a busy Sunday afternoon and the team were really accommodating in getting us a table for 2. We had the beef Sunday roast which was very tasty, generous portion size and reasonable value for money. Drinks were nice even if a little expensive for what and where it is. Would recommend and will re visit on future.
M. P.
Nice place, food, wine & service.
Pre ordered fish and chips, as with a party of over 20 people. Food came on time, well presented and very tasty.
Also had a nice Melbec (Norton's).
Thank you to the team that looked after us. Super nice staff 🍷🍾🥂
D. N.
Pleasantly surprised!
Seeking cover from rain and something decent to eat, came across The Cow.
Fantastic sharing T Bone Steak, blue cheese salad, vast selection of gins and lovely staff.
Also they welcomed my tiny dog which was much appreciated, difficult to find somewhere that does in this area.
Would return!
M. L.
Traditional looking pub with decent range of beers. A short food menu is limited to the normal pub selection with a few veggie options but quality quite good. Dessert less good, the sticky toffee pudding was stodgy with a sauce that has already separated
A.
Stopped in after lunch at another place for a cheeky pint or two as it looked really nice and warm.
Our assumptions were well founded as it was toasty warm when we got in, which was just what we needed, and the decor was welcoming and all in good shape.
Expect to pay London prices obviously, but from what I can tell it's worth paying. I only had an Amstel myself, it was served at the right temperature and was nice and crisp so it had been stored properly.
Outside seating was available, but as it was stormy and very windy, choose this option if you a braver person than myself!
D.
Good range of drinks. Plenty of room inside and seating outside. Clean and tidy. Staff very efficient and friendly.
Located on the south side of Westfield on the 1st floor. Ground level to the Olympic park/west ham stadium.
J. E.
Good meeting place with a good range of drinks and the dining room on the top floor created a good ambience that wasn't crowded. The food was well priced and good quality. It was a pity that the staff serving in the dining space didn't seem to care about the service they provided (might have been an off night)....
b. l.
Nice pub very covid secure. Ordering on the app was very easy once all set up and the staff were friendly and helpful. I can recommend the peach and apricot gin spritz, I am not a gin fan usually but it was delicious!!
N. G.
Small portions, big prices, and the seafood linguini made me feel like I had fallen in a tourist trap in Venice - they were not great. Loved the feature to choose your song on the app (hence giving them 3 whole stars) but wouldn't come back
E. R.
The cow is a great pub, despite being so close to Westfield it retains a lovely, friendly atmosphere, staff are great, food is always good. And most importantly, it's dog friendly, with dog bowls and extra strokes
J. B.
Best stake is Westfield. Me and my partner we always go to The Cow after work when we fancy stake.
This time we have been served nicely, as they allowed us to change seats when one of the tables at the “balcony side” is available due to the wind.
We ordered two medium cooked staked with onion rings and broccoli as a side apart from the the chips.
One of them was cooked perfectly but the other one was medium-rare. But that wasn’t a problem at all as we ate half and half. But then we told to the waitress so tell the chef to double check the stakes before serving it, just for feedback. And very kindly for their mistake they offered us free dessert but we were full already, and another drink which we had another one.
Always planning to come back as we always did.
Good customer service and good stake 😚😚
E. M.
Sunday roast is very good! The gravy is a bit too liquid for my taste but the meat was perfectly pink and juicy
E. O.
Usually fairly busy, often has music, usually an alright crowd. Quite coupley. Not my favourite place but not a bad meeting point.
s. k.
Buzzing lively vibes on a Friday night , getingva table not so easy, good selection of drinks , tipical London prices , good beers good wine ..
E. A.
Really great pub, has a nice vibe and ambience. Drinks are definitely central London prices though.
P. C.
Big pub, quite charming. Has a great restaurant upstairs, too.

Went in for a full english for him, and a smoked salmon for me. The breakfast menu runs till late, the staff is lovely, the prices are decent and the food is delicious.

Great place to have some drinks and food
J. K.
Great atmosphere great service, super cozy and great location!
A. P.
This is a great place to have drinks, very friendly staff great music and comfy sofas
I am a regular, well recomend it.
M. H.
Specious pub in Westfield. Plenty of cosy spaces to sit and talk with friends. Food is nice but nothing special

A bit pricey but to be fair the service is very good and the food is excellent.
£16.50 for fish & chips, but I would go back. Clean & tidy, no complaints at all.
E. D.
The price is a bit high £14.50 for a Sausage & Mash and beer £6.20 , but enviroment and staff makes a equal fare.. nice sofas to do some work wile you eat but still ... to pricy.
M. H.

Decent boozer with ok food. The top floor restaurant is good as well and can feel like a bit of an oasis compared to the ground floor sometimes. Can get very busy with football lads before games, being one of the closest to the London Stadium.
Obviously with a name like The Cow you know that steak plays a big part in the menu but there I a fair few other options for those eschewing a slab of red meat.
Beer and wine selection is standard pub fare with little in the way of surprises.
R. R.
Good music, Drinks are over priced , friendly staff, good atmosphere , plenty of space
W. L.
Nice pub to enjoy a pint after swimming at the London Aquatics Centre. My only issues are the high prices!
M. S.
Good pub food in a location filled with choices to eat. It was reasonably busy downstairs in the bar area but sat upstairs was relatively quiet. I had the lamb burger and rosemary fries which I can recommend. The apple crumble however had big chunks of buttery crumble which were a bit much for me.
F.
Nice pub, music was fine and it was kept clean. Prices are high, but its not a surprise for its location
P. C.
Big pub, quite charming. Has a great restaurant upstairs, too.
M. A. C.
The place is ok but I won't be back for a mojito. They didn't even have a straw and the mojito is not so good. Still 4 stars for other drinks and foods and services.
D. C.
Really nice pub, very busy but this was because of the West Ham game staff friendly and didn't take too long to get served
Worth a visit
M. H.
It was very nice in Westfield Stratford very warm very colourful gone into the Cow pub the beers are fine and a good service and the prices of the beers ok also I wanted to sit outside the drink my beer there were let's chairs outside for customers to set out I had you our restaurant staff came up to me as I need to move and quite broody interrupt me with my good drink I think this is unfair and I was quite crossed with this there should be no excuses and you should put more chairs out for your custom especially your pain quite a high price of the food and drink about your food prices I think they are little bit too steep it would be nice if you can look at your prices and see if you can lower your prices on the food sector it would be nice if you can look at it and see if you can help us out of those who live in East London like myself not all of us can afford to spend over £20 on food please thank you do let us know if you can look at this this will be appreciated
j. e.
Very nice pub , the staff were very friendly and helpful, nice pint of cider
t. s.
Food was fabulous, staff are very friendly, they are efficient and hospitality is great. Baby change facilities aren't good, which let's it down. Definitely would visit again.
J. O.
Nice pub, good staff, good priced beers and drinks. Good pub before a Westham home game
S. R.
Friendly and efficient service with a good range of beers and tasty food.
A. K.
Drinks are great, crowd is great, place is warm, pricing is affordable, food is excellent, sumptuous and delectable, service is admirable. Deserves 5 on 5. I have reserved one for toilet quality.
L. B.
I can't thank the staff enough. This was our first meal out since lockdown was eased. We dined with our 1 year old, who was rather hungry and not willing to wait! The staff were truly attentive and helpful. My husband and I had the fish and chips which was delicious and my son had the half portion of sausages and mash. The waitress arranged for some lovely bread and butter for our son to nibble on before his food arrived, which did arrive in good time. We really enjoyed the meal and the attentive customer service. Thank you.
L. M.
First visit. A lively place, good music.
B.
Nice pub with good service and friendly bar staff. Lively with indoor and outdoor seating.
F. F.
Getting on the internet and the app working and figuring out our table number took a bit of getting set up, but that's the world today I guess. The drinks and food arrived fairly soon after ordering and I have to say our burgers were remarkably good - like much better than your average pub burger. More in the dedicated burger outlet vein. Proper impressed. They were a bit pricey at £15.50 though so I'm glad they impressed rather than disappointed.
L. S.
Lovely cozy pub. Great coffee and great mulled wine.
D. S.
Quiet place for a drink on a weekday, good choice of drinks
A. M.
The reason l gave it a 3 instead of a 4 is because my mushy peas were peppery, vinegary, l had more batter than fish. It tasted nice, the service was good, l felt relaxed, l would go again.
J. K.
Great atmosphere great service, super cozy and great location!
t. e.
Very nice atmosphere very wide range of brands decent prices too
G. C.
Love this pub. Great sounds, terrific range of beers. Great vibe.
S. L.
Could have more variety of rum. However staff on point today with service and customer service . "The cow burger" was lush.....we are still going. Many thanks
C. G.
Great pub for a drink and food. Great steaks & Sunday lunch 😋 👍
D. M.
Good environment, drinks and is a favourite of mine when going to Westfield
A. T.
Was disappointed. Drinks were great but we has a large party with set menus and the vegetarians found their food to be dry and tasteless. Meat eaters were happy, and to be fair atmosphere is always great.
M. H.
Seriously good food. Great service. Really clean & nice looking pub. Great selection of draft beers. Highly recommend**
*had burger & fish a chips... both really good!
*no service change included in the bill (pay what you want)
S.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, also very well decorated - perfect location, will definitely go back for a drink
a. h.
Great food & drinks ! Close to most shops
K. D.
Super attentive staff. Ordered an 8oz Rump. It was served fairly cold, even for a rare steak. Eat out scheme definitely made it worth it. Wouldn't pay full price to be honest when there are better steak places in London.
S. W.
Great Full English Breakfast is available here.
s. b.
We met two friends at The Cow on Monday. We were impressed by the staff and safe seating arrangements. Table service was great, draught ale only so-so but bottled superb, wines and food excellent! Utterly impressed by the staff, who were friendly, responsive AND on the ball re Covid - they reminded/chided our friend when he entered the pub without his mask - more power to em! Good to see the staff here were active in promoting safety. Excellent.
We had a good, safe and enjoyable evening. And would recommend others to have the same at The Cow.
A. R.
Great place to have some drinks and food
S. P.
Large but cosy, great location in Westfield, but easy enough to walk through from the station without having to enter the main mall. Views of the West Ham stadium (formerly Olympic Park). I didn't try the food but it looked good. Great place for work drinks, clean toilets, friendly staff with table service and Covid regulations being adhered to
E. G.
Very chill spot and comfy! Had my second pint here on my first night in London, would recommend to anyone that is going to be saying around the Stratford area to give it a go.
E. W.
Awesome service and delicious food, plus a good selection of drinks. Highly recommended.
C.
Asked for medium-rare, got well done and it was too salty.
It’s a shame they don’t have the cocktail menu on! Get a new supplier!!
A. B.
Good atmosphere, decent beer, or so I'm told.
Nice coffee, if a little cold.
Tea needs work, lacking in depth and flavour.
Menu looks okay although I haven't tried it.
A proper pub, not like some of the more pretentious establishments that can be found.
Recommended.
L. P.
Good atmosphere, but a bit expensive
A. U.
Great Sunday roast! Very quick service and food for toddler was perfect temperature on arrival. Served with plenty of napkins to avoid us having to ask for more! Little details like that make a massive difference. And to top it off everything was really tasty.
L. H.
Large multi-level pub restaurant situated within a mall complex. The food is nice enough, but could be better value for money. I had the fish finger sandwich and some chips and it was all tasty but nothing groundbreaking. They have a nice enough selection of beers and other drinks. Basically this is pretty standard pub fare.
V.
Lovely pub just outside Westfield. Good selection of beers and both indoor and outdoor seating
H. W.
Not a bad place for a drink. Good selection.
T. W.
Busines use - Meeting Room fantastic for cost and catering. Highly recommend.
E. M. (.
Enjoy the roast dinner and drinks lovely🍹🍜 finsh all my food..i was dining indoor then got a table outside the weather was lovely🌞 relaxing peaceful no one bothered me..u can smoke outside good reamend it.
W. M.
Great pub great staff.

Great place to relax and chillout during a shopping trip. We enjoyed our lunch drink so much that we went back later for dinner. Lovely atmosphere ,not too quiet not too noisy. Helpful staff graciously put up with the usual interrogation from one of our group about the menu. Food was cooked nicely served quickly and reasonable price and they dont wack on a service charge like some places do. Would gain the full five stars if they had a 'happy hour' and slightly cheaper bottle of champagne. Will definately go back.
J. A.
Good customer service great portions good food great seating in addition
J. T.
The burgers are mind blowing. I doubled up, for a small price, although I was over full. It was worth every bite!
E. C.
The food was delicious - we ordered a rib-eye steak and the baked camembert with these like caramelised walnuts on top. The sauces with the steak just made it; I don't usually like peppercorn sauce but theirs was incredible and I dipped all my food in it, that together with the real garlic butter and a bit of salt made an unbelievable combination. The camembert was amazing and even the smoked olives were better than I had imagined.
N. J.
Expensive for drinks but nice place
F. D.
Food and service were pretty good. Nice interior too. Would recommend.
P. C.
Lovely interior; has a bar on the ground floor, and "restaurant like" areas on the first and second floors, so it's a good venue for either a relaxed meal or a more energetic drink. The staff were very welcoming.
We only had drinks, but the food menu looked ok, so we would consider returning for lunch or dinner. The only downside is the drinks are pretty expensive, even for London. I suppose it's due to the Westfield location, but given there are multiple pubs nearby that serve more reasonably priced drinks, we would opt to go to them instead.
Lovely place, despite the prices.
K. D.
Clean, recently refurbished toilets and fast service on a weekday. Can get really busy but I like this pin when it's quiet. The Cow has a nice industrial/oldy feel to it. Causal atmosphere with quiet music. Great after a good bit of shopping.
P. B.
I've occasionally stopped by every now and then since this place originally opened for a Pint or two (avoiding match days since the stadium has been used) and I must say that I've seen a decline in the service and definitely the portion sizes when it comes to food (I've not eaten here on every visit, only a handful of times). It can be very hit and miss, it is also a bit pricey compared to other places but not the worst bar in Westfield by a long shot.
D. M.
Delusions of grandeur.. its a pub, in a shopping center. The food is not all that, and the quality of the steaks certainly do not justify the price tag, at least the one I was served did not - looked like it came out of an oven. I was fooled into thinking it was some kind of high quality steakhouse, but its not on a par with a Gaucho or Hawksmoor type place. The waiters were courteous and helpful enough, but borderline too slow to take that all important preliminary drinks order. I had wings as a starter and I have to say it was a physically painful experience and super awkward. The wings, 6 or 7 of them, came stacked inside a strange, skinny high sided bowl which was sitting on a small saucer, wasn't really sure how to go about eating it, you can't really use knife and fork for wings but they were so excruciatingly hot that both my dinner partner and I could not handle them for about 5 mins with our hands and I did try to eat a wing with knife and fork by disecting it on the small saucer. It was a pointless exercise and we had to wait until they had cooled sufficiently before attacking them with our hands, which of course we didn't have enough napkins to clean properly - lo and behold the mains arrived mid-starter, not enough room on the table for two to put everything and with hands covered in chicken wing glaze the waiter, to his credit, brought us more serviettes and took away the sorry looking half eaten wings. Being unsure of the quality of the meat on offer I wasn't going to chance spending near on 40 quid for a t-bone so opted for the cheaper and smaller rib-eye, and it was pretty disappointing, as i mentioned earlier. Came with a side of chips (about 6) in the usual pretentious tiny rustic bucket that we've all now accepted as normal and a small serving of mushroom sauce which was delicious but tiny. Might go back for a drink, but not when its busy, lots of drunken idiots stumbling about on the ground floor, but I put that down to the festive season and the fact that ultimately its just a pub.
N. B.
Lovely outside seating and nice food. Perfect spot to meet a friend.
Е. П.
I visited on Thursday evening this pub it's very relaxing please, the staff is very friendly and professional. The bartender was Bulgarian his name is Plamen and made me the best cocktail. Thank you. I will definitely visit again. And yes yes yes I highly recommend " The Cow"
K. V.
Very fun place. Cozy and chilling atmosphere . The pub is always busy and bartenders are very friendly. Noisy place. So it is for kinda fun and loud time with friends. Although it is also suitable for dated. They have got great restaurant too
D. B.
Excellent service by our Barman.
Kept the glasses refilled.
We felt very comfortable here in our first night out with friends post Covid.
D. N.
Great food, at good prices
R. K.
Great service by the bartender. I was served with smile and so so friendly that I felt so special with my friend. He made an amazing cocktail and his name is Plamen . Highly recommended to visit and will come back for sure
R. C.
Not bad for a pub feel in the centre of Westfield shopping centre. It's a little out of the way and outside. Nice food but service, whilst pleasant is a little on the slow side. Not bad as an escape from Westfield madness whilst others go shopping you can down some food and drink. Bit tatty inside but I think this is a feature.
J. E.
Great food. Great Restaurant. But Until you get the BILL. Only then do you find out you are Charged 20% SERVICE charge. We had 4 Adult main meals and 2 Kids meals. And 4 Diet cola pint drinks Bill was £102.
So Very EXPENSIVE . Good job we didn't bother with Starters or Desserts. Or it would have been over £200. Desserts started from £7.95.
K. G.
We had our works Xmas dinner here and it was really nice. The upstairs area gave us a comfortable environment. Other than the great company I was with, my highlight was this deliciously fruity cocktail to start.
Passion fruit Martini
Absolut Vanilla, Passion fruit puree, Sugar syrup, Pineapple juice, Passoa, Lime
juice & 1 Prosecco shot
£10.00. Worth every penny.
S. K.
Proper feel of English pub, nice selection of drinks
T. W.
Nice pub BUT £6.10 for a pint of Peroni? Criminal pricing as far as I am concerned. The bar itself is nice and comfortable and there were enough people working behind the bar that I could get served without any issues. The outside was clean and welcoming. There are a decent amount of tables and chairs so unless it is extremely busy you should hopefully be able to find somewhere to sit down and drink your very expensive beer. Location is great if you are doing at Westfield Stratford as it's located in the same complex.
L. A.
Comfortable pub friendly staff
A. W.
Always nice service. Clean toilets. Good beer. Never had food so cannot help 😉🍻
D. R.
We had our Christmas party here and we're sat in a small glazed room on the first floor called the fish bowl... The table was set perfectly for Christmas and the lighting was just right. Food was good, I doubted that the turkey meat was cut from a bird today.. Although the rest of the food was fresh. Enjoyable and satisfied.
R. W.
Nice place, didn't eat there but service was good and the place itself is great for after work drinks. The only thing that spoilt it is wherever we sat the waitress kept placing the same "reserved" sign - sat in 4 different places to test it and the sign just followed us around, even though 35 mins past the reservation time the person had obviously not arrived. We ignored this but other people moved or left which is not great.
S. G.
Not long after moving to London a few friends and I would quite often visit The Cow to do the pub quiz. We never won, but we came pretty close a few times.
The whole place feels very new still, so it's hard to think it's authentic when going for that rustic look with lots of wood and old equipment hanging up.
There are two bars, so it's not usually that difficult to get served, and there is quite a lot of seating. You're also really close to the tube station so it's easy to get home.
The food I've eaten here has always been good quality, well presented, and tasty. The staff have never been rude, or inefficient when I've been there.
The best thing I've had there is the Butcher's Board. I have uploaded a picture of it, so you can appreciate how tasty it is.
R. C.
Food is good, but they dropped half the chips on the floor when serving to the table and seemed shocked when we asked for replacement. Good for babies, though stay on the first floor. Bit cold.... Apparently they had heating issues when we were there. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks.
D. 0.
Okay venue. Was heaving when we went, on a Friday night. Tables available but too loud to talk. DJ playing 80s & 90s pop...
Good range of slightly over priced drinks (esp the shots/spirits)
J. K.
Great beers, good wines (if a little pricey), and lovely food.
Well worth a visit on a Sunday for a roast (choice of beef, lamb, chicken and either pork or duck) and their pub quiz. Quiz starts at 7pm and is £1 per person.
K. K.
Lovely...and not just because I had a perfect 1st date here last year and came back this week with my now bf😍
P. K.
It's gone back to being expensive again, such a shame
M. V.
It's ok overall. I wouldn't personally recommend going to a pub in a shopping centre, as I found the service being inferior compared to all the independent pubs out there. If you go for drinks after work, a lot of people will be doing exactly the same. So prepare for 30 minute wait at the bar, as there are only 3 bartenders for an entire shop. It doesn't really work with the amount of people that visit the pub
R. A.
Nice, but too expensive for what you get
i. G.
Great pub. Good food, friendly atmosphere of all cultures.
D. S.
Your basic pub. There was a friendly feel to the place and it made a good refuge from the Olympic Park when it was cold. It has a fairly standard selection of beers on tap together with one or two lesser known ales on pump - something for everyone really! We didn't eat but the food being served looked pretty good to me. Probably not worth seeking out especially, but if you're in Westfield or near the Orbit in the park and find yourself in need of a pint you could do a lot worse!
c. a.
Match day so packed. Do a good job of serving though.
G. C.
Great meal and the hot wings are amazing, the only downside was when the waitress accused us of under paying a £205 bill when we actually overpaid by £16, and the manager tried to block us from leaving on a staircase. Apparently it was a till error!
B.
Our local for me & my co-workers after a long shift at work.
This place is always heaving but staff are always ready to serve quickly & efficiently every time we pop in.
The only downside of it being so popular is getting a seat is like *Gold Dust* especially if my co-workers want to have a cigarette with our drinks (I'm the only non-smoker typically) 🥂.
Other than if I found fault with the place then I'm being rather cruel lol...you really can't beat your local after a hard days grafting!
T. G.
Came in March 5th. Great food really enjoyed it but it was so cold in there. Not good to eat your dinner with your coat on! No desserts as needed to get out. Again mains fish n chips and chicken kiev was lovely
C. A.
A great atmosphere, great selection of drinks. Having eaten here on a few occasions, the standard of food is excellent. Outside seating and 3 floors gives plenty of space for a bar in a busy location. A must visit if you are in the Queen Elizabeth Park for an event, shopping in Westfield, or just in the area for a night out.
S. C.
It's a pub, in a mall (well, just outside). Inoffensive.
E. W.
Great service from start to finish! Mali was on top form and couldn’t do more to make sure our time was perfect! This place is 100% now my new local to watch the football.
A. B.
Great space inside and good service. Sunday roast was ok, but one slice of meat for £15 ish didn’t seem the best value to me. Pub quiz on a Sunday is good fun with good prizes!
M. D.
Excellent pub! Allows small dogs in resturante area. Great food and good prices. Lovely staff. Good atmosphere. There are three floors, first floor bar area, good vibe and music, second floor very cosy with sofas and soft seats to sit on. Top floor is a proper resturante. You can hear the music pretty much any where you sit which makes it fun! Will definitely become a regular here!
T. N.
Great Sirloin steak 👌 with good wine 🍷
N. C.
Love a Pub that serves quality products in a nice clean and relaxed environment. I can imagine what its like when West ham are playing when the traditial "Cockneys" come for their Ales. Well......they sure have a lot IPA's to quench their thirst, but not their pockets.
s. v.
Friendly staff and nice cosy place. Enjoyed a nice beer after a race in the park and the staff were very friendly and place was nice and warm vs the outside where it was wet and windy
E. G.
Great venue, excrement customer service,
G. W.
Nice atmosphere, but drinks over priced considering you're on the outskirts of zone 2. £6.20 for a bottle of cider is more expensive than a central London pub.
R. M.
We enjoy visiting The Cow. Normally start here before going further into town. Have not tried the food but all the beers and shorts have been good. Have watched football here also although if I remember rightly there was no sound.
S. H.
Friendly service with plenty of outside drinking space. Good vibe!
b. j.
Nice staff and atmosphere. Food is ok with a 10 for sticky toffee pudding, but do not go for sunday roast, excepting the quantity is all disapointing.

Normally I like going to the cow... But last night a very rude manager approached me and I didn't appreciate it.
Someone ordered some fries and the waiter couldn't find the person. Eventually she came over to our table and said do you want to have these chips as I can't find that customer... We said okay. Then another top manager came demanding payment and being so rude accusing us of stealing the chips and refusing to hear our side. To be honest, had he spoken more nicely and asked what happened I would have just paid for the fries. Honestly after paying for all the drinks and meals that stupid manager thought the fries was really the nail that broke the camels back. Common sense should prevail

Food was phenomenal! Best steak I’ve ever had, compliments to chef Reece- service was also impeccable- thoroughly enjoyed myself and will most definitely be returning.
P. C.
Nice comfortable stop after a hard day of shopping
A. F.
A group of us were due to meet at another establishment but had issues with their new policy on id's, so we chose the Cow as an alternative. As soon as you walk in you see there are multiple floor levels with plenty of space and more importantly.....seating. What was a very pleasant surprise was the varieties of beers and, in particular Youngs beer! Youngs Special and Special London Ale, plus 'Ordinaire' as one refers to the standard draught. Having been weaned on that stuff it made for a good evening all round. Situated on the outdoor section of Westfield Shopping Centre at Stratford and connected to London Underground plus other overland railways, it couldn't be better placed. The only caution is the prices like other places in this Westfield complex, they need to keep competitive!
G. A.
We came here after a film at the Vue. The sausage and mash that I had was excellent. Maple cured sausages on a bed of silky mash. The vegetables cooked leaving bite and colour. Only one beer on though (by beer I mean cask beer). So go and visit the Tap East or Goldengrove if you want a choice.
J. S.
Really nice decor, comfortable, good service and drinks.
D. S.
Nice pub, good bier... What else? ❤️
S. R.
The staff are lovely and on their game with social distancing. They had table service to make sure everyone is safe.
N. D.
Not a bad pub, but packed solid unless you fancy a beer or two at odd hours. Clearly a popular place. Staff are friendly and service is fast, though.
C. H.
Popular trendy pub. Always very busy. Good for parties and meeting friends. Popular with young trendy crowd. It is often difficult to find a place to seat upstairs ir downstairs but I like this place, the atmosphere and interior
M. K.
Went to The Cow before a concert it was busy but the staff were quick and responsive to customers. Plenty of choice on the drinks menu and at decent prices.
S.
Great location and the food was great. Did wait a while for the food to arrive but again was tasty and made up for it. The staff were great and attentive throughout.
B.
Very busy pub, great after a West Ham home match but drinks are very expensive and you are shoulder to shoulder with everybody. Would recommend to football fans as they show sports all the time.
C. F.
Lovely pub with great food. The service is great and the staff are very friendly. It can get very busy on match days so I would recommend booking a table.
S. W.
You either like it or hate it seems to be one of them places 🤔
K. J.
Nice enough place nice enough staff but central London prices
P. D.
loved it , had cocktails they were amazing , really good service and staff very friendly , lively and buzzing, worth a visit
B. F.
Visited on a pretty quiet afternoon. Decent range of drinks, wines more so than beers. Good menu and tasty food. Staff friendly but tables sticky.
S. H.
Had a great evening in the Cow last night. Highly recommend the platter nibbles. Friendly staff provided excellent service for our office night out.
J. M.
Great food lovely atmosphere and great staff
G. B.
Good food
C. R.
Great food, lovely staff, nice vibe x
K.
Steak was ok but nothing special. Was a bit tough.
Was expecting more for the price.
Compared to Germany it is a bit too expensive.
Atmosphere there is great though
P. O.
Visited here recently and the place was absolutely Freezing. All the Real Ale was off which was poor although the food was good. Sort out the heating when the Temp outside is below freezing
T. D.
Nice place to hangout, sitting on three levels. Just be aware the men's convenience is on the lowest floor whilst the ladies sits on the topmost level. Friendly staff, quick service.
C. M.
Food was excellent as was the service. Really friendly, welcoming and highly recommended. Will return for sure.
R. B.
Drinks are reasonably priced considering it's on the edge of Westfield - it provides a pleasant escape from the craziness that is Westfield Stratford.
I'd suggest it has more of a bar vibe than a pub - wouldn't recommend it as a place to eat - though it's great for a drink!
A. F.
A typical London bar a little expensive can have a limited choice of ale and it can get very crowded Thursday Friday Saturday but I would still attend given the choices in their local area are few and far between
G. S.
The cow restaurant in Westfield Stratford is a difficult place to review the atmosphere of the pub is quite good however it's not extremely clear that if you want to hatch do you have table service you have to go up to the very top floor to receive seats once you are there you are presented with the menu etc my wife and I went there for lunch one afternoon and we both picked a steak my wife's was cook very well and was very enjoyable but mine was quite fatty and tough in places which made the meal not so enjoyable for me another thing is you don't get fries as a standard with your steak meal you have to order them extra as a side but you do get a piece of bone marrow given to you which if that's your thing I guess it's ok however would have been nice to be made a bit more aware of this as it kind of put me off as it's kind of gross looking overall the meal it wasn't bad just not worth the price tag
R. C.
Nice spot to have a drink away from the busy shopping area of Westfield. Only one draw back was all the smokers outside in the seating area, no real segregation.
M. R.
Big pub in Stratford. One of the only actual pubs in the area. Fullers prices. Best to book if you have an event.
A. L.
Really good seating area and great service from George!
J. S.
Excellent service although severely overpriced house wine ... 2 pound dearer than covent garden
E. L.
Havent had the food but great for a drink...great place to watch the footie! Nice chilled out vibe
D. C.
Nice atmosphere- a little pricey for what's actually on offer, the food is great but a loo little small for what you are paying for especially the steak.
C. R.
Nice little pub. If you can get in. Match days its mad busy and your chance of getting served is near zero. Try only go on non game days
N. K.
Pricey drinks, but that's London.
D. L.
Really like the venue and decor. The lager is very expensive and the Sunday roast was not up to par, however, staff very helpfull and attentive
J. E.
Drink was quite expensive but it was a nice pint, also Frank's chicken wings were very good, staff were very helpful and nice,
E. T.
Had an awesome experience... Great beer and wine.... I went their with my friends and the staff served us in a friendly way....
P. M.
Good seating area outside and inside. Right outside the main shopping complex to make it a nice stop in between shops. Good selection of beer and ales on tap.
C. L.
Great food, very attentive staff - enjoyable experience, particularly using the app.
L. S.
Came in for a couple of drinks around dinner-time. We were given menus and felt slightly unwelcome as non-eating customers at first but were given a good table Very comfortable atmosphere, but drinks were a little on the pricy side.
A. P.
Decent pub and crowd but expensive compared to a few minutes out of Stratford Westfield's, though it has a nice atmosphere
S. G.
Always good to have a drink here
T. B.
Overpriced, and feels fake. Not a real pub but if you’re caught in Westfield and desperate to pay over a fiver for basic lager then go for it I guess.
N. H.
Nice enough. Menu choice not really my thing but 4 of us ended up sharing the sharing platter with enough food to go around.
G. L.
Come here for christmas every year. Is a bit pricey but location is good. It used to have a great view from the top floor but this has now been blocked with the new buildings which is a disappointment
A. 8.
Great service ,the atmosphere is amazing .. seating was a little tight on the outside patio but with the courtesy of the people the tight fit was pleasant...yours truly new Jersey Mo
G. M.
Great service, good guiness, noisy
M. I.
The Cow is a nice place to chill with friends. Drinks are reasonably priced. Service is good.
H.
Very nice, good location surrounded by interestng other places. Very popular esp, Friday night. Little expensive for Stratford.
l. d.
Great pub . Enjoyed sitting outside eating the amazing sausage rolls
N. B.
A surprisingly satisfying selection of real ale. A great surprise that they had decent ales not just your standard Doom Bar or Pride.
G. D.
I meant to click 4 star! my bad.
Food was delicious and nice atmosphere. A little pricey hence the 4 star review.
L. B.
Decent pub opposite olympic park with a ping pong table, tends to get too crowded and noisy in evenings - odd cow theme. Standard pub food.
D. J.
Staff very efficient and friendly even though I have the darkest humour . Crowd.are lovely aswell
I. M.
Went for a beer after a West Ham game, service was good but was crowded and we found it expensive in comparison to the pubs on the High Street.
R. E.
Good design haha the cow bottle lamp shades
nice blankets inside when its cold and fire
food is good but way pricey but
it is nice..
D. C.
Nice pub, plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. The drinks prices are not too bad for Westfield.
S. D.
Great burgers good service nice beer ticks all the boxes
D. B.
Probably the best (one of the only) pubs to go to in Westfield Stratford. Good spot for pre drinks before anything Olympic park events
J. D.
Nice friendly pub in the Westfield shopping centre, selling good beers and serving good food. A little expensive for us out of towners.
H. E. G.
Lovely pub with great food. The service is great and the staff are very friendly.
T. J.
Friendly staff, nice bar, great out side seating... Standard central'ish London prices.
p. s.
Good selection of beers with a fast service. This has to be the better place in Westfield to go for a drink.
P. A.
Excellent service, nice atmosphere, good food... But most of all Rugby and Muse
P.
Good place, but the food lacks flavour and the price of spirits are higher than central London.
A. Z.
Cozy pub with good selection of beers, though quite expensive compared with other pubs in the area.
N. C.

K. W.
Prices are a little high considering it's only Stratford, but the atmosphere is OK and a staff friendly.
M. S.
Decent pub food, good drink selection, good stop on your shopping spree
S. P.
Very new and modern pub that comes with London prices. Nice place for a bite to eat.
G. H.
The Cow is well located for both Westfield shopping and visiting the Olympic Park. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices reasonable.
m. S.
Good food and good atmosphere. Perfect pre match venue.
E. B.
Always a busy pub, but good for a drink on way home after football.
B. F.
Bloody expensive! A nice enough place to drink but over time, has increased its prices.
K. G.
Ate here yesterday lunchtime , excellent food & service 👌recommendations for the roast and cow burger & allday breakfast 👌
S. N.
A good beer selection and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend for a good night out in the Stratford area!
A. K.
Fast service, prices average for London, not a lot of seating (may have been due to match day at West Ham)
D. G.
Good place to sit and have a drink, gets you away from the shopping for a while.
J. G.
Decent pint. Its ashame its in a busy, crowded shoppig centre. Sort of pub that should be on a lovely quite street.
M. L. L.
Nice atmosphere and interior but price is a bit high. Bathroom to be improved.
a. w.
