Reviews of The Crown & Anchor

Excellent meal, good beer selection and friendly service at this charming pub just a short walk from Kings Cross and Euston Square. We were looking for a last night's meal before our train journey the next day, and were supremely happy this place popped up on Google. The steak and ale pie was a highlight.

The Sunday roasts are well worth coming for but remember to book a table before you come as you are less likely to get a table if you walk in on a Sunday for the roasts.
We both had the 21-Day Ages Sirloin of Beef, which was tender and full of flavour. These weren't just thin slabs of beef carved from the joint, I presume they were carved quite early on and then cooked to perfection. Definitely the best roast beef I've had so far.
Nothing special about the veg and roast potatoes and thought that the Yorkshire puddings were overdone. Would have also appreciated it more if the staff tended to us rather than us trying to grab their attention each time e.g. to request for sauces. Would have been even better if we were offered more gravy like how they do at Blacklock.
But overall, it was an enjoyable roast that I would definitely go back for. The staff were friendly and the pub was also nice and clean.

Fantastic quick trip into this pub, right beside the station! Can't fault the level of service, level of beer selection and great food to! I believe the gentleman who looked after me was called Isaac. Good mannered and very professional member of staff. I'll be back when I'm next south of the border!

I visited this place with a hungry family after noticing an advert in Euston station. I had little expectation. Wow what a surprise. The interior is smart and clean. The staff very kind and attentive. The roast - absolutely excellent. I enjoyed the beef; my partner opted for the chicken. Huge portions, so you don't really need to get any more food. Perfect Yorkshire pudding. Very reasonable price. We shall be visiting again.

Had beers and dinner at The Crown & Anchor last night. A good atmosphere/decor modern and cosy. I enjoyed three different bitters. Plenty of staff working the bar and they worked well as a team to get everyone served quickly. Staff friendly and helpful. I ate the Nourish Bowl, a vegi option, and it was delicious - a variety of types of crisp lettuce leaves and lots of different tasty bits mixed through and a good dressing (not too sweet). Will go again

Haven't been down Drummond Street before - well known for veggie Indian food apparently - but booked a table at the Crown and Anchor to catch up with old mates who needed to be near Euston. Really impressed with the place. Smart decor, friendly staff, loads of guest beers and well cooked, very tasty Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Highly recommended!

Very nice food at the typical prices you expect to pay for the location. Staff were helpful and checked if you were okay often enough without it becoming uncomfortable. You can order at your table via their website or go to the bar to place your orders.

Really really handy for Euston station (take the exit by Platform 16). Posh pub food, perfect for a date night with its classy decor.
Will book again.

Visited the pub on a sunday afternoon with 8 other friends. Atmosphere was really good and the beef sunday roast, had by most of us, was excellent. Wouldnt hesitate to go back here again.
