N. F.Absolutely love coming to the Old Dev.. so many different bars in Balham yet this is by far the best. Both the food and service are brilliant. If we had to have a favourite, Nicola is fabulous! Always on the ball, gets things done quickly and super friendly. Genuinely look forward to seeing her!
C. N.This is a great pub! The atmosphere is lively and the demographic quite young. They have a big, fully heated garden with benched and booths and a burger shack! The staff were all really friendly and attentive despite how busy it was. 10/10 highly recommended

E. R.I am glad to say I had an amazing visit on Saturday. Regardless of the pub being busy, I was served quickly and efficiently by a women named Faye. She was polite, fast and had great customer service. I would recommend this pub to everyone! Great service, great food & great variety of drinks.

T.During my time in London, I spent many nights at The Devonshire Pub, I was first dragged to this pub as my mates lived around the corner.
Can confirm the atmosphere coupled with the setting, is perfect for whether you want a quiet night with a glass of wine, or a couple of beers with mates to catch up for old times’ sake!
The staff are also brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed the trivia night they held during my last week in London. It helped that we won! Special shout out to Lyla who was just a legend behind the bar that night.

R. H.Excellent local pub. Good size and spacious with large garden at the back. Has a reasonable menu, and currently (9th Dec) advertising a sumptuous Christmas Dinner menu.

Staff = so friendly/caring/they all look after their customers 100% to ensure everyone is having a good evening.
Honestly have to say, the Dev staff went the extra 1k miles...a service I personally haven't seen anywhere else in years especially after multiple pandemic lockdowns.
