Top notch burgers and really enjoyed the doodle beer. There are quite a lot of tables, it seems to have more space than a lot of the other places nearby. They also had ping pong tables in the back!

Really nice spacious place for a friend's birthday, they have an outback bit where there's a games room. It feels bit more like a club than a bar, that's why it gets 4 stars rather than 5. There was long waiting times at the bar. They also have a seperate bar that for some reason wasn't open when the place was heaving. Owing to being in an archway it does get quite hot. You really do get time to talk in there as the music whilst audible isn't deafening. The doodling on the walls lead to games of noughts and crosses, hangman and other fun things. The security unlike a club were really friendly and kept everything pretty calm. The clientele however are more 3 beers and they're wasted kind of crew. I would return as it was a quite friendly atmosphere and surprisingly cheap considering its proximity to tower bridge etc... Drinks were nice and I know a few of the party spoke fondly of the beers/ales they had on offer.

Loved the beer, the burgers, and the general vibe. Especially like that they have a couple of good German beers. The chalkboards are fun - though I saw a group using them to study maths over some beers so lots of different uses!

I came here, from the US looking forward to this burger...and they did not disappoint. The best burger I have had ANYWHERE. The owner remembered me from my visit 2 years ago and bought us our first round. This place has an excellent vibe, great selection of beer and gin, and will always be on my itinerary whenever I am in this country.

Enjoyed our time here on a night out. Music was great and the food was tasty and simple. Lots of space and the doodle element on the walls adds a bit of a fun. A cool bar for a drink or too if you are in the area.

Fantastic selection of cocktails and drinks really reasonably priced and although the building smelt damp and it wasn't kept well, the atmosphere was great! Big screen made the match more fun to watch and the chalk boards and table tennis was a lot of fun after a bunch of beers, cocktails and prosecco! Great stout in the picture..

Came here for a few drinks last night. Good selection of drinks and pretty cool place. The waitress who served us was really lovely, however the security/bouncer guy was quite forceful to the point of being rude. We were quite a large group so it took a bit of time for all of us to get our phones out and get the NHS app open but telling us to hurry up do it a bit quicker was not a great welcome. Not one smile or welcome greeting. At closing time, again, he was quite unfriendly. I understand that his job is to get people out in time but he could do it with a bit more grace.

I love the idea of the bar, two opposing walls are blackboards and you can have some fun doodling with chalk. A big plus is you can get a top notch juicy burgers from the burger bar inside. 4 stars because seating is quite scarce and the live music was way too loud.

Loved it so much. Such a fun bar with blackboards all along the walls so you can play hangman or pictionary while you drink with your mates. The food here was unexpectedly incredible - one of the best burger and fries I've had in London - and the waiters are super friendly. So happy to have found a new haunt and will definitely be back.

Really fun concept, relaxed and not too stuffy, a great local find. The food is really good considering its served up in a takeout box and is good value too. Not somewhere your go for a quiet nice meal but could be a good place to go with your mates or a more fun/different date. Didn't like bar lady telling me off when she got my order wrong... not the service you want to see and the only reason I've deducted a star. Hopefully a random event.

First time I had been here when I went a few weeks back. Reason we went was for a neon life drawing night! Would say the actual space isn't that great but the events they do are cool. Life drawing was fun! Went back a bit after for a metallic screen print class which was also really great. So venue is okay but stuff that goes on is awesome.

The drinks selection was good but the own brand beers were fairly poor and given the great alternatives along the beer mile I was a bit unimpressed. The atmosphere is nice however and even when fairly busy it seemed possible to nab a table.

Worth the trip over the river if you want something a little different and fun to the crowded central pubs in London. The long table inside the bar is great for meeting new people after a few pints of the craft beer they have on tap here, or take them outside for a game of ping pong on the tables they have there. The bar has a really nice vibe about it, no rowdy city bankers to ruin the mood and it's also available for private hire.

One of the best pounds in the area of Bermondsey. The did choice is not too wide (3 burgers and fries) but the quality is outstanding and one of the options is vegetarian. On top of that, they have two ping pong tables that you can use for free; lakes and ping pong ball are provided, you just need to leave a form of ID at the bar while you keep them. There's also a fussball table, and that is free too. If you feel like being creative you have chalks in various colours on all tables and you're welcome to draw on walls (which are covered in blackboard) and even tables. Amazing.

Awesome burgers. I got the doodle burger with a doodle pint with fries which cost me about £12. That being said it was worth every penny! The bar itself isn’t very big but there are a couple tables for ping pong and a huge chalk board to doodle on. Every time I’ve been there it’s been a mix of students and young professionals so not a place for a first date but pretty good if ure looking for a place to drink with your mates and eat too. The location is pretty trendy as well. Under the arches of the railway, exploring lesser known London arrr ye matey! Adventure awaits anyone who dear enter! Ha the walk to the tube station after drinks was a bit of a pain though, and at some point I thought I would be done in by Jack the Ripper...

Awesome, quirky bar in a seeming old warehouse in Battersea. Reasonably priced drinks, and great atmosphere. Serious stock of gin too - some really good global brands! Sadly, it's shutting at the end of 2015 because the building housing it has been sold (more London gentrification!) so get in while you still can!

This place is super cool! Theres nothing better than going to a place where there's great drinks and food and you can channel your inner child buly scribbling all over the blackboard Walls! Haha went there for a leaving do, a mate of mine had a burger which was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS, the drinks werent too expensive either. There were games to play there and a few table tennis tables set up which we totally took advantage of and had fun writing the points on the wall. Only thing is, I wish there was more space and more places to sit.

Went to a lunchtime popup crayfish boil. Nice atmosphere with a cajon style band playing - but not too loud. It was a Sunday so there was a food market around the corner ...how is it that market stalls charge more than a shop! Anyway Doodle bar was good. It's under a railway arch and they have installed some acoustic dampening in the ceiling so it's got a nice ambience without the general noise being intrusive . Parking was easy as restrictions are lifted on Sundays. We will return.

A beer is something like £4.50 which I guess is OK by London standards and they have some decent ones. Food is limited to one of three burgers (inc one vegetarian) and chips. Picking up a previous review that complained about the burger smoke - there is now an extraction system that works. Burgers were very tasty but you need to take plenty of napkins because they're messy. Burger £8, chips £2.50. Chalkboards a nice novelty, although they do get covered in penises (obviously...) The whole places is a bit pretentious but quite fun.

Doodle Bar is a great and trendy place with ping pong, nice drinks, good food and an amazing atmosphere... The bar menu is quite small but the bar staff is more than happy to give it a go, and to make your favurite drink. Should you be lucky enough to visit the Doodle Bar in during summer time, then you will be able to enjoy the amazing outdoor space at the docks.

Holy ****! The burgers here are AMAZING (no, I wasn't drunk when I had one)! Beer selection nothing compared to the breweries on the beer mile, but you've got to come here for the food.

Doodle bar is one for the trendy kids, but welcoming enough for us non-trendies to have a good time. It is a very unusual place set mainly in an old carpark/warehouse. It isn't the easiest place to get to if you don't know where you are going as it is hidden away in an obscure place near Battersea but the trip will be well worth it. The walls are giant chalk boards, and everyone is free to doodle on them (hence the name). There are great food vans set up offering tasty burgers, fries and noodles. There is also plenty of space, seating and some ping pong tables. Probably my favourite feature was a vending machine labelled as an anger ventilaton machine. It is filled with china and you can pay to see it drop and smash - great fun if just for the novelty. They offer cocktails, but there was no clear menu so I asked if they did a 'sex on the beach'. The very young bartender had no idea what I was talking about and asked me what the drink was composed of. Once I told him the ingredients though he was more than happy to give it a go and provided me with a very strong but very nice drink. I think this is just an example of how laid back and fun this place is. A little gem.

Once destined to become a property development, thanks to the recession, investors pulled the plug. Fortunately this made way for a pop-up Doodle Bar, which thanks to Jasmin’s huge efforts, has become a permanent feature to the area. There are many things that make this place different – its off the beaten track location, nice crowd thanks to local artist type and the Royal College of Art campus nearby, the increased likelihood of meeting someone interesting while doodling at doodle wall, and what TSL like best, the Test Bed space. As the name suggests it’s a place to test out creativity. Whether its exhibitions, life drawing classes or any other ideas that come Jasmin’s way, suffice to say interesting things are happening all the time...
