Reviews of The Dove
K. D.
This is a lovely pub - atmosphere, ambience and location faultless. Staff also very helpful and accommodating. I'm giving five stars because I enjoyed a lovely roast with friends but I have to say the vegan option was a little disappointing. The smaaaallest slither of pie (when the meat option is half a whole chicken!) and no Yorkshire puddings left me finishing my last pea before my meat eating friends had barely made a dent - and pretty hungry! I'd love to return again for drinks.
C. H.
Lovely pub with lovelier staff. If it’s nice out then it’s the perfect spot to sit out and people watch. Good beer selection too. Won’t do you wrong!
B. F.
What an incredible find on a Sunday afternoon, quality Belgian trappist brews delivered direct to your door!! Deliciously malted concoctions paired remarkably with the Sunday roast and impeccable service with a gift card and an extra beer to boot on delivery. Thoroughly recommend, will be back for more 👍🏼
p.
Probably the best place for Belgium beers in London, many on draft.
B. R.
Review from a happy gluten free coeliac!
This place has well earned fame for gluten free Fish & Chips. As of end 2019 their range of burgers, including a cool hummus & halloumi 'burger', are also available with gluten free buns.
Fantastic that they also offer a full vegan and gluten free 'Fish' & Chips too ❤️
Great as it is the ability to combine a visit to Broadgate market, which is a great foodie and crafts market with some additional gluten free delights of its own, makes it an even better destination.
S. B.
Perfect place if you want a little break from the market. Big pub & restaurant. The bar area is quite lively and the dining room is quiter if you want abit more space to chat over a meal. Great Gluten free and vegan options on the menu. Order the vegan chocolate brownie, you wont be disappointed!
A. M.
The best gluten free fish and chips I’ve ever had. Made with gluten free beer batter, it was crispy and had so much flavour. Bonus that it came with homemade tarter sauce and mushy peas. My go to for gf fish and chips whenever I’m in London!
J. C. D.
The best beers of the world... Of Belgium, actually. But all the trappist are amazing and very accessible prices. The Broadway Market and The Dove itself are so friendly and familiar. Beautiful pub. As a man who loves hospitality and beers, I would love to work there.
M. B.
Love this place. Cosy and intimate interior for the winter months and in the summer sit outside and soak up the fun of Broadway market.
Good and varied selection of beers and the Thai food is tasty and great value.
T. K.
Great selection of euro beer, UK craft could be better, nice vibe. Roast was quite average though.
L. K.
Beer selection is insane here and the portions are amazing. Tofish was flavourful, great batter and distinct cod taste but the pie was more of a stew with a pie lid. Certainly recommended, staff were exemplary.
H. A.
We’ve been going to The Dove for years and it is an absolute gem! A wide variety of Belgium beers, comfortable seating, knowledgeable staff, great location. What’s not to love??
R. S.
Nice old looking bar with options of unique Belgian beers. Got my fav cherry 🍒 beer in here and that makes me happy enough. The other beers are also nice too.
The place is big but it’s very busy. Lots if seats inside and out side.
F. T.
Wonderful pub, amazing choice of beers with a selection of very good Belgian ones on tap too. Tasty Sunday roast and kind staff. Board games available. I will surely go back, reservation suggested.
W. B.
Great, lively bar with a good variety of beers and tasty food.
M. T.
The best “Tofish” (vegan fish & chips) I’ve ever had.
S. M.
Long standing Broadway Market local. Love the interior which is a maze of warm, traditional wooden snugs. Never change them Dove peeps. The board games have been put away, presumably because of THAT virus but still a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Friends worked in the kitchen here 30 years ago and you couldn't swing a sea bass in there let alone a cat. Hopefully, they're a bit better appointed now because they're still kicking out great sharing platters, a range of curries (the Thai alternating green/red week to week) and damn good chips, something I never say lightly. The main thing they could work on are the toilets. They're unisex, yay! No queuing women and smug blokes here, but they've seen better days and opaque glass isn't the most relaxing material for a toilet door! What's more, depending which washbasin you choose you have a fifty-fifty chance of an unplanned power shower, which doesn't go with with every outfit. Anyway, the crowds, for once, attest to a great, rather than just a trendy, boozer in this uber-hip corner of London Fields.
A. L. (.
Lovely service and warm vibes. Good selection of games and amazing range of beers. Always a winner.
T. W.
Favourite pub on Broadway. Great selection of beers and the food is decent too. 👌
S. W.
Delicious vegan roast. Huge portion. Lots of fresh veg and gravy and even vegan Yorkshire puds! Followed by a lip-smacking vegan chocolate brownie. Not cheap but average for London. Quick service too.
R. E.
Very good pub with knowledgeable staff. I had an excellent low alcohol blanche on their recommendation.
A. K.
The pub might seem full but there is a separate room or rooms in the back just for those who came to eat. We were seated, given the menus and had chosen our foods in two minutes so the service was really fast. Many vegan options, burgers and thai food hand in hand.
M. J.
Board games, bevs and buzz.
I couldn’t really find any other words beginning with b to keep this review going apart from ‘breathtaking’ but that feels a bit OTT. Still, it’s a 10/10 from me.
R.
Great Sunday roast, Thai food and long list of Belgian beers on offer here. Nice pub with lots if books and crannies to find a cosy spot. Service is good and the food is delicious and I find pretty good value for Broadway market area.
S. M.
A beautiful pub with cosy and welcoming atmosphere and a shed load of ales if you like that kind of thing.
W. R.
Best beer from around the world, Hackney Hopster to Delirium Tremons. A great stop in the broadway market!
K. A.
Our new favorite spot, we finally found our Belgian beer fix and the prices are really nice as well! Amazing interior too
T. P.
A great classic pub with a very decent Thai kitchen cooked by Thai people which is always good. Huge plus point is that it has Big Wave on tap, which is relatively rare.
D. V.
Love this place! Has an authentic feel compared to the bland newcomers. Great beers and food. Super vegan choices and great deals on "meat free mondays".
G. R. M.
Stellar food and beverage selections overlooking the charming street of Broadway Market. Slightly overpriced, but worth a visit nonetheless.
N. R.
Classic pub serving wide range of Belgian beers alongside London cask and keg choices. Gets very busy on market days!
P. A.
I think the Dove has come back really well. They seem very well organised and your orders arrive fast.
There are still some good beers on tap, a decent selection. The food is pretty good, though I think the chips with the fish and chips are a bit basic. Other than that though it was enjoyable grub.
I like that some of the really uncomfortable, cramped tables have gone. This makes it much more comfortable than before.
T. H.
One of my favourite pubs in London. Get it on your list. Think wood panelled walls, dripping candles, open fireplaces, plenty of pub games and a massively varied selection of Belgian and craft beers. The pub quiz is great and the vegetarian dishes on the menu are fantastic, better than most of the meat dishes in my personal opinion. Good amount of outdoor seating makes this boozer great for any season of the year. The toilets are unisex and a bit gross - but you asked for a proper pub, so deal with it.
M. I.
Great local pub located near the London Fields area.
After finding The Dove from moving to the area it was been a regular of mine since.
The outdoor tables really give a great atmosphere of the local area and is great for small groups.
The beer selection is vast with a brilliant tasting Guinness.
A great visit if you’re in the area and the sun is shining.
L.
Great vegan options and lovely beer!
D. T.
Food is good and they have a good selection of craft beers. I would only suggest to invest in new dining chairs as most of them are very wobbly and seem to have just been taken out of a skip.
G. M.
Great beer selection and cosy atmosphere.
B. G.
Superb food and some of my favourite beers. Can’t recommend it enough. And the staff are very friendly too!
F. L.
I had a really wonderful time here in Saturday night. The staff were relaxed but still gracefully imposed covid restrictions. I had some rigatoni Ragu which had a lovely spicy kick. Drinks seemed to flow easily as well was never left wanting. Great experience and thank you to the staff.
G. V.
Been by for hot dogs a couple of times for hotdogs during lockdown. Really tasty & the kids love them! Staff always friendly & looking forward to visiting for a pint when they reopen.
P. P.
One of my absolute favourite pubs in London. Incredible beer list, always goods choice of Belgians on tap and even more in bottles, I think I counted about 20 I really wanted to try last time I went. Food is top notch too, both the Thai items and classics
D. E.
A sunny Sunday afternoon topped off with take away Hot dogs and a pasty - both delicious and nice friendly staff. Plenty of others enjoying them too! Highly recommend
S. G.
Nice place to have a lunch/dinner and grab a beer 🍻
G. J. R.
Very cool, cozy space with lots of tasty belgian brews.
F. S.
Nice pub on Broadway market which offers normal pub meals and a few Thai dishes with over 100 beers to choose from. The fish and chips and Pad Thai was very good. There's also vegan variants of some dishes (vegan "fish" and chips and a vegan burger).
J. T.
Great place to grab a drink and play some old school boardgames
j. y.
Dropping by the Dove for a beer you will never be disappointed. The selection of beers on tab and bottles quite brilliant. The interior is welcoming and there’s always a wait for table space which tells you how popular this bar is. If circumstances take you outside then your met with the bustle of the market to enjoy while you sup your delicious nectar. I can’t pass this place without scurrying in for a cheeky beer.
B. U.
Amazingly they have a few good Belgian beers on top of the usual local ones, which is not usual at all but greatly welcome. The premises are greatly decorated with wood, and I won't get tired of saying this is how any proper pub should be. It attracts a young crowd and good vibes.
S. F.
Nice pub, hidy holes and good beer
A. C.
Great pub and good food with veggie options
B. S.
Good old traditional pub - we went there after swimming in the lido, to put back on the calories that we burn't swimming! Good tasty selection of food & drinks :)
S. A.
Cool Pub, travels you to a different era with the decoration and chairs. I ordered the beef pie, wasn’t great to be honest as the beer was pre-cooked and very dry but the coconut curry sauce that comes with it was delicious! Also ordered the farms burger and was very good quality. Great selection of Belgian beers that taste so nice! Very friendly staff :)
C. D.
A great pub, dog friendly in the bar area (there is a separate dining area but you can order food at the bar too) we had a very nice sunday roast. They make a big thing of always having plenty of veg and vegan options. Great beer selection. Nice mixed crowd. Friendly staff
J. L.
Aesthetically a traditional British pub; serving a selection of exceptional beer and larger. The food is also second to none offering a beautiful Sunday roast. It’s a bustling local with a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. If your looking for a quick drink or some hearty food, this is everything you’ve been looking for.
B. E.
Good food, polite and friendly service, comfortable seating, reasonable pricing. Vegan food available.
m. t.
Great fish and chips lunch and friendly staff.
F. F.
Lovely interior, fantastic atmosphere and very friendly staff. Outdoor seating area too with cover!
Great beer and cider selection, with a focus on Belgium at fair London prices. Great beers from around the UK too.
Will come again!
L. D.
Cute little place for some Sunday drinking. Epic roast and they gave us more gravy (always a win)!
l. m.
Nice pub with an extensive range of beer. Apparently 101 different bottled beers, selection of cask ales and Belgium beers. Food looks decent. Food and beer are reasonably priced. Friendly bar staff.
S. C.
Great selection of meat, vegan and vegetarian. Beautiful place with a mix of old London and Thai.
M. B.
Nice pub on Broadway Market. Staff are pretty good - hardworking and quick 😊. Good range of beer. Decor is relaxed and welcoming. Great spot for standing outside on a Saturday and watching the market bustle go by.
F. D. P.
Great food. Love the belgian beers
M. T.
Great for Belgium beers & food not so much for my Guinness.
F. A.
It's always the debate, if this one is better than the Cat & Mutton. Foodwise, it is (gorgeous Fish and Chips). If you like Belgian beer, it is (more than 6 Belgian beers on tap and plenty more in the fridge). The other one has better selection of local beers (on tap), I reckon. Go to both and settle the debate. Lovely wooden interiors too, and board games as well.
S. W.
This is a great pub with a lovely local vibe and fantastic food. There's a lovely Thai British vibe and the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is tasty! There's also an extensive and impressive collection of beers, board games and a nice little array of areas and tables
S. B.
My dad loves the huge selection of beer here, especially Belgian. Roasts looked good but it was too hot for it on the day. A few benches out the front for summer too. Friendly staff, will definitely be going back.
A. P.
Amazingly quiet/relaxed pub during the weekdays. Great for a pint and some writing time.
S. P.
Great pub quiz, fantastic beers. Knowledgeable staff (invariably all very young men) for the most part. The food used to be great but seems to be slipping recently. Good selection of games. Great vibes and location.
S. H.
Lovely pub near lovely London Fields. An incredible selection of Belgian beers and fruit beers; you're sure to find something you like. The building itself is incredibly cosy and full of little nooks and crannies. Food is great as well - we had the wild boar sausage which was incredibly rich and good. Gets quite crowded on the weekends but it's a fun crowd - a great place to spend a Friday or Saturday evening!
J. M.
Great range of beers. Gets really busy, especially Saturday afternoon when Broadway market is on. So your lucky if you get a table. Nice, friendly crowd
J. H.
My favourite local pub simply for the fact it has Delirium tremens on tap. Ok vegan food. The satay is nice but the tofu fish isn’t great. WCs for days which is good and lots of outdoor standing. I’ve never managed to get a bench in 4 years of going
F. D.
This is a great pub. Located right near London Fields but what sets it apart is the selection of beers. I love Belgian beer and to be presented with a menu including 3 types of Straffe Henrick when I got in was brilliant. Really knowledgeable staff too!
L. L.
So many good beers here! I'm a big fan of Belgium beers and the selection available here will take me a while to work through. There are loads of cosy nooks to sit in inside the woody, candlelit interior. Pretty good date spot.
E. H.
Good spot for a pint any day of the week :)
S. M.
Nice selection of beers. I had a vegan burger, the patty was stuffed with coriander and I hate it. Coriander is one of those things that people either love or hate, you should write it in the menu as one of the ingredients of the patty especially if you use that big amount.
C. D.
Pub with a large range of Belgian beers, plus UK & other international brews. Despite the lowlands paraphernalia the Belgian drinking experience offered feels a bit half-hearted. Closes on the dot 11pm. On a Saturday night in trendy Broadway Market.
C. P.
Nice pub, chips took a bit too long to arrive on a busy Saturday afternoon
F. A.
Lovely pub, staff are always friendly and helpful - selection of beers is phenomenal
C. M.
Amazing selection of world beers, especially Belgian. Great Thai food too. Cosy on the weekend if you can get down early. Packed on Saturdays due to the market out front.
T. H.
Nice public house. Has dining seating separate from bar. Good fish and chips with vegetarian option. Winter and summer menus. Unisex toilets but down two short sets of stairs.
R. B. M.
Amazing Vegan food options. We had the to"fish" and chips which was huge and delicious. They also have a vast great selection of Belgian beers!
G. O. S.
One of the best pubs in London. Good selection of Belgian beers, both on tap and in bottle. Get the Bourgogne Red Ale on tap.
D. G.
The Dove is probably my favourite pub in London. Veggie burgers are great and the selection of beers is amazing! Loads of Belgian ones :) it's a shame it's cultivating the game of having extremely rude managers though. Bartenders are really sweet though!
b. g.
Choice of ales plus extensive list of Belgian Trappist beers, what's not to love.
T. H.
As a local to The Dove I may be biased but this has got to be one of my favourite boozers in London. This is a PROPER PUB. Think wood clad walls, open fireplaces, pub games, weekly quiz, great grub and a truly vast selection of beers from from around the world - including one of the best selections of Belgian beers in London. Enjoy.
A. G.
Went here recently on a Tuesday which is their Thai specials night (2 Thai meals for £14 instead of about £22). Everyone ordered a Thai dish but we didn't really expect much (as its a pub that only does it once a week) but the food was delicious. Portions were generous, meat was nice and tender and the flavours were great. I would go back just for that.
The service was fine, but it was an early Tuesday afternoon and not very busy so it wouldn't be indicative of their peak time service.
C. G. D. S.
The dove has an amazing selection of Belgian Beers, you can get a paddle of four 1/3 pints for about £10. There is also a selection of Board Games in the back. The atmosphere is also very nice, the pub is broken up into 4 sections there's an outside with benches, some tables near the bar, a more cosy section in the back and a dining room.
S. R.
Quirky east end pub. Decent selection of beers. Plenty of seating options that some may find a little bit confusing as its split and layout take a while to work out. Decent toilets compared to some other pubs.
S. E.
The vegan burger was a delicious mess, the bartender was rad, and the drinks are decently priced. The power outlet is in the front by the secret take away door. Stay forever. That's what I did.
D.
Strawberry beer is great. Only thing I would suggest is, get there early otherwise you won't find anywhere to sit inside. Great pub great atmosphere.
W. D.
First visit on Sat afternoon. Bar staff very friendly, letting us sample the beers before buying. Great decor & clean. Unisex loos threw my other half 'cause he thought he had walked in the ladies! Can't wait to visit again.
G. S.
Great selection of Belgian beer, probably the best in London. Food is ok, some staff is friendly some not.
A. M.
Nice, cosy pub. Love the decorum and the great selection of beers. I especially like the everchanging food menu. And it's always super tasty.
M. S.
Traditional pub. Great beer selection. Chill place to watch the football.
M.
I'm a more frequent visitor to thier smaller Belgian cafe in Clerkenwell. I have visited this place only a couple of times and it has the same great selection of beer but is also a much larger venue. Definitely worth a visit for any beer heads. I'd also recommend the one in Clerkenwell as the food is also pretty decent. It's much quieter though.
M. N.
Lovely pub, eclectic and welcoming with lots of nooks and crannies to get cozied up in. Was recommended a great beer, and there is a delicious vegan menu (and specials!)
T. T.
Great little local boozer, has a very large selection of Belgium and craft beers on tap, really good pub grub with quite a few Thai dishes available, perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon and play some of the board games hidden downstairs.
L. V.
Amazing food - definitely recommend the pad Thai! - lovely range of drinks & amazing customer service !
M. M.
If there is any doubt, the Dove is the best pub on B'way Market.
Cosy welcoming spot, good food on offer with concentration on Thai food including veggie items. Awesome selection of beers on tap - amazing bottled beer offering including all of the Belgian trappist beers. Oustide seating good for summer days and winter evenings.
Don't get sucked into the 'other pub' at the top of the street
v. b.
There is something about this pub. Cosy non pretentious. Food and service always the best. Love the atmosphere
J. R.
Great local with a vast selection of Belgian beers, both on draft and on bottle. Food is good as well, especially appreciate the veggie menu.
M. L.
Great Butternut Thai Curry, plenty of vegetarian options including multiple burgers. Many many vegetarian options, including vegetarian Mondays. Large interior with separate pub and dining areas. Lots of Belgian beer. Live bands outside the pub on Saturday, when the market is on. Busy.
I. M.
It's okay. Too many beers is overwhelming. Had roast beef on a Sunday. Good portion size, beef was tough though, and the whole thing had a pseudo posh Worcester sauce kind of flavour which was unnecessary and pretentious.
S. S.
Great location, small outdoor space. Cracking roasts and good beer/ ale selection. Always brilliant to see 'bin ends' advertised, sadly a rare sight these days. Go on The Dove
S. F.
I wanted to organise my company's Christmas dinner there, I've been going to this pub for more than 2 years. Well a few nights ago we've been told that they couldn't been served anymore drinks because we were too loud! We were just celebrating a great achievement by my girlfriend! Too loud in a pub??? Come on! When I told the manager that he was overreacting and he was losing at least 4 good clients he just said: OK. So we walked out and had few more drinks at the place next door that is cheaper and the staff is less pretentious.
T. M.
Super friendly service. Lots of good vegetarian (and vegan) options if that's your thing. Great vibe, nice selection of beers on tap.. definitely worth a visit!
A. K.
Great vibe on a Sunday but had a pretty terrible pork roast there. Other times the food has been brilliant but you couldn't pork drier if you tried.
R.
Good range of local and Belgium beers, complimented by a great menu. The business of Broadway market ensures that it's always busy though. Hang around, get a table; it is worth the wait.
F. T.
Great pub with an amazing beer selection. Roasts are great too but their board games have seen better times. A lot of them are incomplete.
M. C.
Last friday afternoon my husband and me had a really nice selection of Ales with the advice of one of your bartenders. She taught us some new stuff with a perfect knowledge about each one. We are members of the Real Ale Society and we would love to find more people like her, that make our passion a continuous training.
E. F.
By far and away the best veg and vegan pub food you will find in London. Also the best atmosphere for a mile in any direction. Proper veg Sunday roasts, good beer, and jazz on Sunday evenings. What more do you want?
R. D.
I went here with my Mum to treat her for her birthday and we had such an amazing time, it was really cosy in the back and not crowded so we could chat-the thai lady who served us our delicious meal was really friendly and super sweet to us. We had a main and a desert...all was freshly made-very reasonable price and really fantastic flavours. Lovely bottle of wine-not over crowded, perfectly wonderful evening all round. Its fun to go just for a drink but treat yourself to a meal too if you can :)
K. S.
Love the Dove. Lovely old pub you could almost imagine Dickens sitting out the back writing one of his books. Candles in wine bottles, good choice of lagers including fruit ones. Some only sold in half's.
J. L.
Fish dishes are extremely good, beer selection is second to none. Can't speak to the meat as haven't had any. The cheese board however, at 8 quid, is pathetic. Firstly they missed a cheese, included 2 slices of bread, roughly 3 entire celery bunches...... and no chutney
L. E.
Cosy pub great for food and a beer. Staff are friendly and service was quick.
K. L.
Good beer choice. Cozy and friendly
A. S. K.
Great staff, amazing selection of beers, decent Thai food. My favourite pub in the area! Also, it's a sister pub to the Delirium Tremens in Brussels.
J. B.
So I am going to be honest. The Dove is lovely. If ever you've wanted to feel like a child in a boozy sweetshop, this is the place to go. The array of fruit beers is dazzling.. You'll want to flick through that menu at least a few times during your visit. The decor is a bit Dickensian, in as far as it can be a beautiful sunny day, yet if you find your way to the back, whereby windows are replaced with wooden paneling (I've yet to find a secret passage, as my Famous Five based upbringing would suggest), it gets so dark that you'll be grateful for that half exhausted candle on your table, Finally, I can also attest for the quality of the food. It's tasty, varied and really what you need only a lazy Sunday afternoon.
A final warning for those of you filled with the same levels of enthusiasm that I was: those fruit beers go down so quickly that very soon you'll be wondering why your legs aren#t working as efficiently as when you went in. Should you find yourself in those position, and run up against last orders feeling the need to power on through and take the evening elsewhere, the Cat and Mutton is just up the road.
Godspeed, fruity beer drinker.. godspeed.
C. P.
Nice food, great beer, with the exception of being recommended a pint of landlords as a 'good pint'. Very happy, nice vibe, definitely going back.
K. C.
Very surprised by the reviews that talk of poor service. I found the bar staff very approachable when I asked them for beer recommendations, and the food we ordered came very quickly. The dishes were prepared to perfection and there was some jazz happening in the corner. Couldn't have asked for more.
A. W.
Got there a bit late so probably wasn't the best representation because the lights were on and music was off. It's definitely on the shabbier side of shabby chic and the loos are co-ed and were not in a nice state. My flatmate said it's his favourite pub in London though so might be worth another shot.
J. M.
Nice atmosphere, good location, tasty good, bad coffee.
D. E.
A seemingly endless selection of beers to choose from, this pub is the place to visit. The food is delicious also, and the interior is very "classic pub" with a really nice vibe.
Not much of an outdoor area though.
J. H.
The food and drink is above excellent, I have just eaten a traditional flemish fish stew, it's got to be the best seafood dish I have ever eaten. Packed with salmon, cod, mussels and King prawns freshly cooked in a white wine and cream sauce, amazing, £12.50 best money I ever spent.my husband had a Sunday roast and said it was fantastic.
A. S.
Good little pub with a great range of beers, and friendly staff. Does get very crowded though at busy times. Didnt try the food, but the menu looked nice as far as it goes
C. M.
Just popped by for a drink and some quick snacks, but I loved the layout and design, it has loads of personality - I have never been served a portion of fries on a pint glass :)
J. G. (. L.
Lovely Thai Tuesday special meal, I had Pad Thai and the hubby had the Thai Lamb. Great offer of 2 meals for £15.95 on Tuesdays. Great beers too
A. H.
Been going to the Dove since early 90's, it was one of the original belgian beer pubs. Though Broadway market has now become "gentrified" for better or worse, the Dove has retained its character and is still one of the best pubs in London for my money.
A. N.
Amazing gluten free fish + chips! I also had a really nice gluten free beer.
L. C.
Lovely pub with very good food. As a veggie it was a pleasure to see a good choice of dishes (as much on the meat-free menu as on the meat one). The food was an imaginative and tasty take on good pub food.
Y. G.
Nice pub with an extensive range of beer.Food looks decent. Food and beer are reasonably priced.
R. l.
Best pub I've ever eaten at. Good food, good people and most of all good vegan options! Friendly staff too. Will be coming back.
I. H.
The vegan food isn't the best but the fact that they have a verity of it is impressive. The beers are great, the stuff is super nice and it's a good place after all.
D. M.
Good pub, nice atmosphere, always attracts young attractive hip(ster(ish)) crowds. The food is great value and the bloody Marys stiff, but tasty.
C. D.
Proper and solid pub. Great beer selection including cask ales. Food was so good and fresh.
C. R.
Loads of beers available, and the food is OK. It can get really busy in here, but it's so big you can usually get a seat. Good for a drink after an afternoon in London Fields, or a walk along the canal.
s. D.
Great (strong!) beers and ales, cosy tables and board games to while away those cold winter days and nights. This pub is a home away from home for lots of people though and can be quite crowded.
m. l.
Good local pub with food and specialty beers. Nice staff and ambiance. Outdoor space for smokers and people watchers. Buskers often performing near pub. Well worth a trip.
C. B.
Delirium tremens on tap! Loads of great Belgian beers! Amazing food - choice of belgian or thai! board games, great atmosphere and you can take your pint out into the sunshine and sit by the river!
M. T.
Great drinks spot and the food looked good as it went past my table! So I’ll definitely be heading back to try it out!

A great place to stop and quench your thirst on Broadway market on a warm day. Featuring a wide selection of craft ales and outdoor seating this traditional boozer has learned a few new tricks.
J. N.
They do the best gluten free fish and chips I have had! Would highly recommend this place :)
A. C.
Love the beer selection (loved that bruges zot is on tap) and the building is charming and quirky. Unfortunately when I went the toilets weren't well maintained which is why I haven't given 5*.
Y. M.
Great vegetarian menu alongside a meat menu. Amazingly broad selection of beers from around the world, bottles and on tap. Classic old timey pub feel.
G. C.

C. O.
Good food, pleasantly randomly & nook'y pub. Good vibe but avoid if you want to avoid men with perfectly coiffured beards wearing round sunglasses inside in winter.
A. B.
Had a Sunday roast there in may which was tasty, nicely presented. We sat inside because everything was taken outside due to great weather. Cosy, good service, nice roast.
S. D.
This place gets horribly busy of a weekend, but it's great for dating (lots of dark alcoves) or for a catchup with mates. Excellent range of beers and quality gastropub food - the Dove is a really lovely place to people watch

It's a pub with lots of ales and beers and very pricey pub food. Great for hanging out. Good crew. Though better to get better wine and food close by
E. K.
Great staff, that Jono and Jacob have to be two of the friendliest bartenders I've had the pleasure of been served by in a long time! Must go back there and see them both again! Thanks Dove!
