My local Pub is run by a fantastic team. Having just had the watermelon & Feta cheese salad- it was divine, had to rave about it. It’s my new addiction- New Chef apparently, can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Staff always friendly & smiley, with great advice on allergies for food. Being a coeliac- eating out can be tough. Not here. They take the time to explain the menu and ingredients. See you all very soon 5xstars

Great atmosphere in this cozy pub on Old Brompton Road. The food was delicious, the waiters were friendly and great selection of craft beers! Nice outdoor garden with heaters and they even have their own theatre upstairs! Highly recommended!

We came for one day and stayed the night. Staff were knowledgeable about our tastes, the food was excellent and we were treated to an experience akin to that of a members club. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. This isn’t a pub, this is up there with London’s top boozers. Discover it yourself and you will understand why!

I really like this pub, have been here quite a few times. It does get crowded towards the weekends, though. They have a nice little beer garden, which happens to face a busy road. Food is not your typical pub fare, but a bit of an elevated selection. Prices are a bit steeper than chain pubs, but the quality of food is great.

Went with a group before going to the theatre upstairs. We ordered a delicious selection from the starters and shared menu. Really fresh and unique range. Our waiter suggested some great wine to go with it. Highly recommend booking a cosy corner for a group. I have also been for the Sunday roast which is quality!

EDIT: In response to the owner's comment, I should clarify that my review was based on going there for drinks only. I see that they have a good food menu but can't comment on this yet as I have not tried, hence the 4 stars. I'll be writing a new review next time I get to sample the food! Also, looking into the theatre shows as this got me really curious. : )

Great local pub with a huge selection of beers. They have a small theatre entertaining various plays. Some nights they get a DJ for the music which brings great atmosphere. The terrace outside is small but very cosy. The food is standard. The pub is surrounded by huge windows which gives it a really open feel which is nice.

Large relatively empty space for a pub, very dog friendly. Have never eaten here but the menu looks decent. Bartenders are pretty horrible. Considering the amount of free time they have between customers, you'd think they'd learn the difference between a wheat beer and a stout.

I came to this pub on Friday night for the first time to meet some friends. Despite being extremely busy the bar staff served efficiently. I was served by a blonde lady who was very helpful suggesting a bottle of wine since the one we wanted was out of stock. Despite the music being a little too loud it the customer service and atmosphere was great, Unfortunately we were too late to order food but the menu looks great and i will definitely be returning to try!

UPDATE: 2019, this has always been my go to in the area, and so went in last night for dinner with family visiting from abroad. We enjoyed a great staff night out at the Drayton arms. The food was ok; the service was excellent and the play was brilliantly good. We were first to enjoy a new play "Be My Bloody Valentine" by Allez Hop! Theatre Good comedy funny buzzing and kept us laughing. Well worth it The main course was a bit disappointing though. We ordered a 28 day aged rib-eye steak, but ended with a rather chewy sirloin steak. Other than that it was a good night

I like that pub. It is cosy, with tables of different size so it can easily accommodate large and small groups. It has a fireplaces. Good selection of beers. Can get crowded on Friday but it is rarely too overcrowded, especially comparing with the other pubs in the area, it is also less noisy. Food is ok.

Very good place in a very good location, very friendly staff and the drinks that greene king group usualy has, selection of ipas lagers and usual food, pub is a bit hidden which is perfect as don't get packed apart from usual people when they finish work on the area, this is my case when I visit. Met quite few people there and still get in touch as people are friendly. To finish this is a good place with variety of selection food is your usual pub chain food and people both guests and staff are friendly only not so good point Is the small outside area of 3tables always in the shadow but not the pubs fault. Largely unspoilt traditional London pub, readily accessible from Gloucester Road tube. We had the theatre package: a well-cooked, good value two course meal. Then we saw Charlie's Dark Angel in the upstairs theatre - pretty full but we just got tickets. Well-acted dark comedy written and directed by James Christopher. A pretty enjoyable evening.

If you're looking for an authentic boozer then the Drayton Arms definitely isn't that - it's a gastropub of sorts with a rather posh clientelle (well you are in the rarified atmosphere of Kensington!). What's really special about the Drayton Arms is its super little theatre upstairs, an intimate space where you'll see a range of daring and groundbreaking plays throughout the year. I definitely recommend it for the theatre space, not so much for the atmosphere downstairs.

The production (The Merchant Of Venice) at The Drayton Arms Theatre last Saturday (13/10/2019) was very captivating; one of the best I have seen, great play delivered with passion and fun. I took a lot back with me; since the show last Saturday, I never stop trying to recite ' . . . The quality of mercy is not strained' and "I am a Jew. Hath not a Jew eyes? Hath not a Jew hands . . .'. I finally purchased a copy of 'The Merchant Of Venice' lunchtime today (15/10/2019). I also experienced the bar whilst waiting for the show to start and during the interval; the bar staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful.

(Translated) When I asked where to try the famous "fish and chips", they suggested this place that, although not the cheapest, deserves to be recommended. The meats also looked great, and variety is not lacking on the menu, as they also have vegetarian and vegan dishes. The fish and chips in particular is more than a decent size, leaving no hungry diner, and with a varied accompaniment: personally, smearing it with the pea and mint paste, along with a little lemon, gives it a touch of freshness. Very welcome, but the tartar sauce, with just the right touch of spice, is also a suitable substitute, although it also does well with potatoes. The staff was very friendly and attentive at all times (Greg served the table and helped when the ketchup was resisted, and Audrey and Vivi's suggestions for drinks and food were spot on). The only thing to keep in mind is that right now they are reforming the place little by little, so there is only one bathroom available, but there is no fear: Jay had the patience more than necessary to indicate where he was, no matter how many times we asked him. Las carnes tenían también un aspecto estupendo, y variedad no les falta en el menú, ya que también tienen platos vegetarianos y veganos. El fish and chips en concreto es de un tamaño más que decente, dejando a ningún comensal con hambre, y con acompañamiento variado: personalmente, untarlo con la pasta de guisantes y menta, junto a un poco de limón, le da un punto de frescor muy bienvenido, pero la salsa tártara, con el toque de picante justo, es también un apto sustituto, aunque también le va bien a las patatas. El personal fue muy amable y atento en todo momento (Greg sirvió la mesa y ayudó cuando se nos resisitió el ketchup, y las sugerencias de Audrey y Vivi para las bebidas y comida fueron muy acertadas). Lo único a tener en cuenta es que ahora mismo están reformando el local poco a poco, con lo que solo hay un baño disponible, pero no hay que temer: Jay tuvo la paciencia más que necesaria para indicarnos dónde se encontraba, no importa cuantas veces le preguntáramos.
