Lovely environment and family friendly. Been here for years and all the local can testify that the food and drinks are affordable and the quiet atmosphere is just right. A mature pub with good character and wonderful customer care. All government guidelines are in place.

It looks unwelcoming and dodgy from the front (partly the area locals adding to this — hanging around in gangs on bikes outside) Once inside it’s a compact spoons. With a car park garden! Most pubs in this area have closed. It’s ok. It’s worth 3* but that is about all I can give it and I do love a spoons !

I was here for the first time today and I will definitely come back here. I am very pleasantly suprised, delicious English breakfast and very good coffe, Exellent and very interesting decor good prices and very nice service. The drum is a fantastic brilliant pub in the local area of Bakers Arms Lea Bridge Road and one the best pubs or Waltham Forest the staff at this beautiful pub are fantastic and so helpful and warm to the customer I was so really well well me and my dad enjoyed our lunch on a bank holiday day 24th of August twentytwentyone I recommend people to go to the drum the food is great the drinks are really good priced and your beers I would love to give the Drum more stars and I really can't wait to go back and be served again with good staff there that's serves you really good and I'll chat to you talk to you really as a good as a really a person and you can really have a good laugh is a really good chill out pub

Prices are good, as with any wetherspoons, but had an awful experience with a security guard. First he made a pervy comment to my female friend on our way in, even though he looks like a fish out of water. Then he tried to bar me from the pub because I ordered a fried egg. No joke. Fair enough, if the kitchen is overworked or doesn't want to do it, that is fine- just tell me you're not going to do it. But he really had the cheek to threaten to bar me from the pub after what he said to my friend! HE should be the one barred. A classic example of a napoleon complex. I've had a few decent times here though, and the people are decent. The floor/bar staff are also very friendly, especially some of the students. Very helpful and we had one of them do a fun trick with our jagerbombs. Very fun!

Very clean. Good food (we had the English Breakfast) and very good price - 2 breakfasts, 2 drinks one of which was refillable for £9. Nice ambience as at 10.00 most locals were in on their own for a quiet breakfast, coffee or pint. Will definitely go back to sample the main menu which had traditional pub comfort food e.g Sausage and mash with gravy, Scampi and chips etc.

Nice pub. Layout bit disjointed so you don't see the back area. Also the garden. Wetherspoons shop standard facility. Only thing is, where's the waterproof umbrellas? It rains its England. Some people might use it If you added some cool music and kept it dry. People still smoke. It's a great area just feels like lost. Staff helpful and friendly. Clean and free coffee refills Lavazza , If you're a caffeine junkie.

Have been drinking in this pub for a number of years. Can't speak more favourably about my experience everytime I am there. Lovely beer garden and bar area with friendly and appreciable staff. Only down side is the toilets are a climb up stairs and no disability toilet. However, is worth a visit as it has good abd diverse client base.

Although is was like most pubs, there was really something special about this place. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner this place always delivered. The wait staff and the bartender were always great! Love this place and have the english breakfast here, the beans are amazing!

Good beer, always in perfect condition. I enjoy real ale and have never had a bad pint here. The menu is a bit limited compared to other pubs in the Wetherspoon chain, but is always beautifully prepared

The Drum sell some of the best beers at half the price sold compared to the local pubs in the local area. The meals are very well cooked again at prices lower than many cafes in Walthamstow and Leyton. There is very good atmosphere in Victorian building. Well worth visiting. The car park opposite the Drum is free after 5 pm and all weekend. Could not be better!

What A lovely, friendly pub. Many regulars. Visited on a lazy Saturday afternoon. First time but everyone acknowledges, smiles or gives a welcome. Food is good and bar staff friendly. Ordered a guiness, which was recieved with lovely four leaf clover design on top. Would visit again.

It's a weatherspoons but also a proper local boozer. So great beer selection and prices but quite a few strange people. However most are friendly and some even interesting. Can get crowded. Has more atmosphere than most weatherspoons.

I needed toilet went upstairs, cleaner was in there , I brushed past her, but the two toilets were locked, shove I crapped myself, that lady deserves a medal. I couldn't be more apologetic ,and. One the more quaint and cosy Wetherspoons you'll find. Midweek lunch visit was quiet and had a "local" feel to it which I liked, unlike some of their outlets which are boilerplate big chain brand. Has books to read, a fireplace (lit) and even a small outdoors space and staff seemed very nice, even if not the quickest service.
