Had a fab time here for dinner with my family! We all love seafood so I had the Hake special & they had the trout, fish and chips & cod cheek scampi starter. All thoroughly impressed and we'll be returning soon! Thanks guys.

The beer was tiptop on my recent visit. The staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. The atmosphere was very light and summery (even on my visit in December!) and I could talk to friends without having to shout.

An amazing pub, not far from Wandsworth Town station. It's super clean, staff is incredibly polite and friendly and the food is very tasty. We've had the plant-based burgers - I noticed there are not so many vegan options, so this might be something they may want to explore a bit. Other than that, I feel this pub has the best atmosphere and the best offer in London! Very good value for money, too.

The manager was extremely friendly and attentive without being over the top and we all enjoyed the various Sunday roasts, followed by a very generous Cheese board. The choice of beer and wine was good and there was a nice mixture of different people, the ideal place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Really enjoyed the Sunday lunch. Menu was very good, plenty of options to suit most. Had the chicken roast dinner with a side of cauliflower cheese (a tad undercooked) friendly staff, good service and reasonably priced. Sort of a youngish family atmosphere, plenty of pushchairs! Not sure about the dogs being allowed in? Would recommend it.

Lovely outside seating area. Visited evening on Wednesday food was above average. Service was excellent our waiter ‘Garry’ was particularly attentive and kept us entertained the whole evening. The wine range is very good we were even given some small tasters

Brilliant evening sitting in the front garden. Full table service without the charge, only had to go inside to use the lav. Looked after very well by Gary all night very friendly and knowledgeable. Great wine selection, sausage and mash was particularly good. This pub has really improved service wise recently

Popped in yesterday for dinner with the family in the evening. Sat outside, I went inside to check out the beers and wines, the girl at the bar had 0 knowledge and didn’t seem to want to communicate, (maybe she was new or having a bad day, it happens) however the male bartender stepped in came outside with us to our table and offered extensive beer knowledge and brilliant chat, Which we were very impressed with. We had a lovely Cornish pale ale and wine. We received full table service throughout and the trout was in particular very good. Good value for money. Top service. Top food. Will be visiting again.

Really lovely place, the staff are so kind and always welcome you with a smile. The food is so delicious and mostly reasonably priced as the portions are quite large. Sunday roasts are incredible!! Come in every week for them.

We booked a table on Sunday for 8 people at 2pm. The pub was extremely at this point. The food was amazing all the way from the Venison scotch egg, the perfectly cooked roast beef and our favourite the apple & blackberry crumble. A great afternoon was had by all, great pace of service and all done in a relaxing atmosphere. Im new to tripadvisor but we will 100% be back. What a great Sunday afternoon we had!!

Had a fabulous lunch in this super cute pub with the love of my life for company. The pies were fabulous and the not one but two bottles of rosé we got through were delicate and served chilled. The staff we encountered were knowledgeable & friendly and the only negative thing I have is that it’s on the wrong side of the pond for me to become a “regular”

Casual dining at its best. Had fish and chips and burgers. All was perfectly cooked and the burger was described by my daugther as one of the best burgers she's ever had. Burger was very good and didn't fall into that sorry trend of being built so tall that it can't be eaten as a sandwich. Chips were excellent. Service was excellent. Pub atmosphere was as always very good, if only the chairs could have been more comfortable then it would have got my 5th star (they are a little too upright).

Really great fun. Good selection of beers and the ping pong tables are great/some are interactive. To go for some drinks would be a great night (also, the security guards out front were really friendly too). Let down a little bit at the restaurant - we preordeded as a group with our names next to the food which we were told to do no later than 3 days prior to us coming. Despite having this information they don't give it to the servers (or they don't use it) which caused a nuisance as some people ordered over a week ago and couldn't quite remember what. One of the servers got a little frustrated at us when bringing out two of the same mains and only one was claimed, only for us to check the overall order and see we had actually only ordered one. Our parties frustrations, and the servers frustrations, all could have been avoided if they just used the information we gave them (and they asked for) of our names against our order.

I had such a nice evening at East Hill on my first visit last night that I felt compelled to write something in praise of it! My friend and I just wanted to order bar snacks and we had the most delicious oysters, very nicely served, and an amazing gourmet scotch egg with fries. I loved the decor and the staff and customers were friendly. If I lived nearby I'd make it my local!

The East Hill is a perfectly nice pub and pleasantly decorated, but it just doesn't have much character. The food here is nice but a little over priced in my opinion and the bar snacks a bit hit and miss. It's the kind of place to pop into now and again but not one that sticks in the memory.

Great inside, lots of room and slightly partitioned dining area and the food was really good. We got unlucky and recieved a bad bottle of wine but the staff were very understanding and changed it for us no questions asked to no extra cost.

My first trip to The East Hill yesterday and it lived up to the reviews I'd seen online. Managed to get a walk-in table which was v lucky as all bookings had been taken when I'd phoned so it was a good start! We had a tasty brie to start, sunday lunch with perfectly cooked roast beef to follow (generous portion size to boot) and apple crumble to finish. All washed down with several pints of guinness. Service was also excellent. I'm sure I'll be back as there's very few pub visits that get away without even the smallest of hitches and the east hill passed with flying colours.

This used to be practically my local and many an evening was spent taking in the 1-2 combination of the East Hill then The Alma down the road. Compared to its neighbour the East Hill feels a younger, brasher proposition. It attracts a slightly more boisterous crowd, is a touch louder but is a lot of fun. It's The Prince Harry to the Alma's William. The food's not bad either. Chin chin!

Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and good service. Best fish and chips I've had in a long, long time. Perfectly cooked fish, crispy batter. Lovely crispy chips with a fluffy inside and incredibly flavoursome pea mash, lovely and sweet and fresh, with a nice bit of texture. Expensive prices, but fish and chips worth it. I will definitely be going back for more.
