Old school pub with locals and commuters. Bar staff are a pure delight, friendly and quick. Small menu of delicious food especially the roasts which are more than adequate! Not a pub for babies and small children which is always a bonus!

Quaint little London boozer with wood paneled walls complete with ornate brick fire place. Popped in on the way to Fulham high Street for a quick drink as we were early for our appointment, the barmaid didn't move very quickly at all but we got our drinks as the place was empty. On the way back we decided to stop in again for a drink and the place was packed with people eating lunch, some of which smelt lovely. The barmaid was very slow by this time, we went in and sat at the bar and she served someone else who approached the bar after us, then picked up her phone and spent a good 5 minutes typing. Eventually she did get back to us but i didn't like sitting waiting to be served when we didn't need to. In short - it looks like a lovely place and i should imagine has seen a few things in its time. Bar staff slow and a little oblivious.

The Eight Bells is one of the few remaining old-school English pubs in the area. The music and food are good, there is real community spirit among the patrons, and football is always on-- seriously, what more could I ask for in a pub? This place is great.

This is a local for us, great pub and bar staff, but sadly going downhill, food is no longer good quality . The menu is understandably greatly reduced, but the last two meals we've had have been really poor. I'll give the food a miss in future, but recommend for a few drinks and friendly atmosphere.

Best Sunday roast ever! Such friendly staff Sarah the manager is so accommodating. Dogs and children welcome. This is a small traditional interior pub with seating outside as well. They are very community minded and support great causes locally. Perfect combination great people amazing food at very reasonable prices, but you might want to book for Sunday roasts.

To say this was the best pub in the area I would have to know all the pubs but I don't. However the atmosphere is terrific , the staff are great and the food is spot on (best soup in a pub, ever). A hidden gem of a pub. Whilst it doesn’t look much to look at it’s got well kept drinks and very good value for money food. Having visited a few times for drinks, decided to try a roast, and was very impressed. All well cooked and far better than anything else I’ve had locally in the 8 years I’ve lived in Putney.

Popped in for drinks a couple of times on a recent visit. Seemed like a real locals pub, but very welcoming to us tourists. Bartenders were friendly and offered tastings of beer for those unsure of what to order. Definitely worth a visit!

I could not recommend this pub more. Sure you might find better and mor exotic ales, you could find more suffisticated meals else where, but all together in such a friendly atmosphere? My five stars were not only accredited because I got a free meal, I think anybody who goes there in a group is entitled!

Brilliant traditional pub. Went there before a Fulham game, it was busy but the staff were friendly and efficient. Well done to the staff member that didn't make a fuss when a pensioner realised the sandwich he had just bought contained onion and wanted a replacement - great service!

Nice and cosy pub full of locals. We popped by because our hotel was located right next to it. We were given a warm welcome and hence left with a smile. Good fish and chips, come here for a nice evening!

When in London, try this nice little pub. It seems to be a place where locals go. It’s right around the block, when exiting Puntney Bridge Underground station. Excellent home-style cooking, but by no means dowdy. We had lamb-lasagna and chicken curry (pretty hot, even by Non-European standards) with very good wine and cider. Make sure to tip the staff (‚one on yourself‘, to the waiters, because they are very good and we somehow forgot 🤭). Child-friendly, relaxed casual, safe for POC, excellent value for money. Over the last few months I have made this pub my local, what can I say without using cliques? not a lot. It has a warm atmosphere, the staff are superb and friendly, the food is excellent , the menu varies with trad food & some of the exotic from around the world, Match days can be chaotic it t caters for the away supporters to Fulhams home games, the council/police will not allow use of the outside area which results in the pub being crammed to breaking point , having said that I've drunk with some of the so called rabel ( Millwall, Leeds Etc) I'm CFC and never had a problem or seen trouble, Tom, Sue, Charlotte & Dave run a very tight ship, I for one would recommend it to everyone,

The Eight Bells in Fulham just off Putney Bridge tube station is a lovely local. I walk past every day, but never went in - until last week. The glass of Sauvignon Blanc I had was nice, light, fruity and easy to drink. That is really all you can ask for when you go for a drink after work. When it comes to the food, I better spare you the details. I had a burger, and it was not great. But then, they have many other things on the menu, so I should try some of the other dishes. If you are looking for a nice neighbourhood pub in the area with friendly staff, I think the Eight Bells is the place to go.

This is a small pub located near Putney bridge a minutes walk from the river Thames.There is a PREMIER HOTEL Next to the pub.The pub itself is on one level.The staff is local send friendly.The food is your standard pub style provision with generous portions at a reasonable prices.The interior is your old oak labelling a favourite decor of mine.The beers are a good mix of local micro breweries with the usual lagers and cider.The manager is local to Fulham and friendly SARAH by name she can provide local knowledge of the area.Just across the bridge is the starting point of the oxford/Cambridge boat race.This also is a Fulham football supporters pub and can be busy on match days.The facilities in the pub are adequate.
