Stumbled in here looking for a half pint and a quick bite before dinner and found the most incredible pie I’ve ever had. Mushroom and chicken with the most buttery and flaky crust on earth. Quite busy on a Friday night, which is to be expected. Great service and everyone was friendly. I would suggest coming here for a full meal. We split this and it was the perfect amount to keep the engine running.

Seriously fantastic food with perfect ambience and decor. The wife and I had to wait a hot minute for seats but were able to quickly grab drinks to hold us over until they were available. Food came out quickly and was spectacular. All in all a fantastic visit that will likely be repeated during our stay in London.

Lovely quaint pub just a few minutes walk from Kensington High Street Station. Quiet location, outside seating available, dog friendly and carefully looked after. Fresh flowers everywhere which were delightful. Candles lit early evening for a cozy feeling. Coukd do with a Cask Lager on tap and the bar man that served us on Thursday 16th May was a bit grumpy and didn't like being asked to top up the pint he just poured. Maybe he had a bad day, but it wouldn't hurt to force a smile for those who are paying a visit and when it comes to topping up a pint, yes it's annoying, but when you buy a pint you want a pint.... Especially when paying London prices. Other than that little quibble, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return again. Thanks.

Always a couple of guest ales along with the regular ones, and a good selection of gins. The kitchen serves a selection of hot meals, including a range of sausages. Friendly bar staff make this a pub worth visiting.

I organised a big birthday party here with 50 people and all was perfect. They did everything possible to make us feel welcome and the food (big buffet) was AMAZING. All the guests got their drinks quick and everyone was so super friendly. Enjoying it so much we stayed till the pub closed and some guys we never met who just visited London rocked up before the last round of the evening. Everyone was still smiling and served us till the end. I have eaten here many times and the fish & chips are unbeatable:) Elephant and Castle in Kensington is a great hidden gem and filled with lovely kind locals and tourists. Thank you again and we see you soon.

The food was good, but it was served 75 minutes late...so pretty dissapointing for a Sunday afternoon. Beer selection as always, excellent, but ran out of Nicholsons beer after 15min. Service very slow, no cutlery, tissues etc.

Lovely looking pub in a plush part of town....I hope they keep it as increasingly these pubs are getting sold off by brewery's that own them. Nicolsons got rid of one of my locals the Pontyfract Castle on Wigmore street a couple of years ago for ....you guessed it ,luxury flats! I'm not sure they owned the freehold ,but if they did it was a another nail in the coffin of London pub culture. The place was always busy and must have made a good profit.....the ground floor is now an empty shell hoping to be let as a boutique...great!😏

There are weatherspoons and there is this place. It just fit in this lovely neigborhood soo good. It's perfect destination after visit in Holland park. I'm ony giving 4 out of 5 stars as it's quite small and one might find it overcrowded on weekends.
