Great pub! Has been my local for the last 5years now. I decided to organised to have my daughters first birthday here last weekend. 5* service from start to finish, Bart was a pleasure to deal with from taking the booking and explaining to us how to plan it best. We booked the party for a Sunday lunchtime for around 30guests, we were given the entire sports bar. Vanessa was a great host! She had agreed to let us in from 9am to start setting up, she offered to help set up the tables, chairs and balloons! We had the option to play our own music and use all the screens. Perfect pub! Thanks again!

Went last night.. I have based my 3 stars on service and food. A couple youngsters serving which was fine. Food was ok.. I didn't feel as if there is a passion for Thai food here. Could do better..

Nice local pub with good beer and great Thai restaurant upstairs. Good selection of beers on tap, new heated sitting area outside, but main star is the restaurant. We had a lovely dinner during 10pm covid closing times and came at 8, but received great service and had plenty of time to order and enjoy the food. It is hard for me to find authentic thai food locally, but this one hits the spot, especially the Panang curry was delicious. Only dissapointing dish was my favourite Tom Yum. Will be coming back!

Lovely little place to have a drink (they stock Cornish Orchards, what's not to like), with the added bonus of serving Thai food. The menu layout was a little confusing to begin with, but once you work it out, a great selection for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Individual dipping sauces would have been welcome but that's only a small blip on an otherwise very positive experience. Service was very friendly, relaxed and not intrusive. I would happily go back and try some of the other items on the menu.

We ordered and paid for our drinks on the app, then waited over half an hour for them to come. We were told this was due to teething troubles with the app and a staff shortage. We were then quickly brought menus, and our order was taken and our food brought promptly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would happily come back.

I came here to celebrate my friend birthday. I didn’t expect a pub to have such a great Thai menu! And food was amazing! I had Pad Thai with Chicken, and it was made to perfection, taste, spices. Service at this places is really good, from the moment you arrive, order food and drinks till the end of your stay. Very positive experience x

I spent a few hours at the Elephant Inn with my old friend who I hadn't met for a few months due to the pandemic. On arrival we were asked to log in using the NHS covid-19 app and then escorted to a table suitably spaced from other customers in line with government guidelines. As this is a Fuller's pub, we were offered the possibility of lodging an electronic tab. As the name implies, this just means the bar have your details and just bring further rounds of drinks as you order them and you pay when you leave. There was a great selection of Fullers and Dark Star beers and a whole lot of other craft beers and lagers for those who like a wide choice. I had a great afternoon at the Elephant Inn.

Lovely pub with friendly staff and affordable food and drink, including a lovely outdoor seating area. Have marked it down two stars as even though it is not required for pub staff to wear PPE, I would have expected at the very least that the wait staff serving food would wear masks. It is as expected impossible to keep a minimum 1m distance when serving food, and as the wait staff start talking to you to not have them wear masks seems like a safety issue for both the customer and the staff.

Great old London pub with saloon and public bars, including a function room at the back. There is a Thai restaurant upstairs, but the food can be served in the bar. Add to that a pretty good wine list, and you have most of the ingredients for a great evening.

The food itself was very good with large portion sizes and authentic fresh tastes, and based on the quality of food I would really like to return. My reason for the 2 missing stars stems from the service. The staff were incredibly slow and unresponsive. The whole experience took an hour longer than necessary as we had to wait for the server who didn't seem to realise we wanted to order. Also the desert menu has typos and ice cream included in dished weren't given, upon asking, the waiter didn't have much to say apart from it's a typo and didn't offer a solution however the chef did gives us the ice cream. I think the poos service may be due to the covid19 circumstances as they seemed to be short staffed so I would like to return at a much later date.

The best proper pub in North Finchey. Very well kept beer and usually very good Thai food. It’s a fullers pub so a limited choice of guest beers. The only other choice locally is the Bohemia but that has a different vibe: nice but more a bar than a pub.

We sat outside and enjoyed a quick drink in the shade, it was a bank holiday lunchtime so wasn't as busy as I'm sure it could get. We didn't order food but the dishes brought to the table next to us looked great. A bright and airy feel inside, I'll definitely try the food next time.

Very nice pub. I haven't tried the ale or stout which aren't particularly unusual brands but the Thai food is very good. Good staff, several screens for a range of sports but only on the official channels and a large al fresco area at the front. Clean toilets and plenty of room inside, friendly vibe, average London pricing.

I came here with my family for my dad's bday today and I have to say we were very impressed. The thai food and meals were amazing and the service was equally amazing, particularly from your barman Rory. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he served us with a smile the whole time we were there. He even went out of his way to light a candle on my dad's cake and bring it out for us which is definitely not in his job description. I really hope he is shown this message as I think he deserves to know how lovely he is with his punters. It is very rare these days to have that level of old fashioned friendly service in modern pubs these days and my family and I truly appreciated it. Ok pub. Good beer - it is Fullers after all. But a little gritty, food is Thai-franchised which just feels wrong for a typically British pub. Not my favourite, but perfectly serviceable for a quick pint.

Wish we had gone sooner! We had our last meal before doing our own personal 2 week quarantine before Christmas (8/12/2020). The food was absolutely amazing, the prawn tempuras were delicious and so much prawn! We also had the chicken pad Thai, as good as when I had it in Bangkok, the prawn sigapore noodles, again had the split the prawns in half, they were so big! And the roast duck that came on a beautiful hot plate, and was so tender!! The staff were really friendly and served us very professionally! Such a selection of food, we struggled to pick and so affordable too, we wanted to go out with a bang, so ordered more than we would have, but finished it all!! Can't wait to go back after Christmas!!

Nice ambiance, set above the main bar of a traditional pub with timber panelling to the walls giving a cosy feel to an open space. Food was good but could have done with a little more 'punch'. Would definitely go back as the spice thing is down to taste, just need to order mine a little hotter next time.

The food was good - I had the fish & chips and my partner had the fish finger sandwich. We sat outside in the front beer garden, which is lovely even though it's next to the main road. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman who explained the extensive Covid-19 precautions, which was reassuring - including hand sanitiser stations, a one way system and taking our contact details in case of a confirmed case on our visit day. What was worrying however is when our food was served and the waitress wasn't wearing a mask or gloves. We were a little shocked that someone handling food wasn't wearing any PPE at all. Sadly, it made us feel a little weird about the whole experience. Would go again if the waiting staff start wearing masks & gloves.

Its a nice pub if you want to go for a meal, but for a few drinks the prices are shocking. Gin and Fever Tree Tonics x 3 was £19. There is a reason why pubs have been closing at an in-ordinate rate over the last 10 years.

A nice and welcoming traditional pub. Bar staff are attentive and say hello, plus will chat whilst pouring the drinks. Two bars, one is a proper lounge (no Tele, no games machines etc - just the ancient art of conversation). The other has a good pool table and skysports etc. Fuller's is a favourite of mine and this pub serves top notch London Pride. Prices are quite high even for London, especially as it's in the suburbs and not the centre - a pint of Pride and a single G&T came to around £11. Let's hope that the recent sale of the brewery doesn't result in any dilution of quality.

The Moss Hall Tavern as was, used to be my local. After marriage, children and work, finally got mates to come back there. Sad that our group will now not be visiting for some time as some bright spark ceased Fosters which 5 of our group drink. Great pub, great bitter, wine etc but, no b-y Fosters!

They don't give as a proper glass of Port. They didn't ask witch type we wanted and they serve us with one shot and put it into a sherry glass and I said this is not a wine glass and so he asked if I wanted a double shot. And charged us double for a small sherry glass I then asked him to put it in a wine glass which measured One eighth of a glass after he poured into a proper wine glass I didn't enjoy it because it was very sweet

Sometimes I really like it, other times not so much. It is nice in the summer to sit outside when the weather is nice and chill with your drinks. We used to go there every Friday after work about on average 12 of us. But, we were finding the the service is inconsistent and you can be stood there for an age waiting to be served. Also, it can be quite expensive really, considering the area that it is in, and we found the more junior members of the team wouldn't stay around as they couldn't afford it. Went there recently as someone from work was leaving so there was a fair sized crowd of us; we ended up sitting a one long row of small square tables so we were sat in a row and it wasn't as group-feeling as we would like. There were also screaming kids in there quite late on. Running around banging into us and wiping their hands over us and our belongings. This would be fine during the day, you would just have to suck it up, but trying to remember your Ps and Qs late on into the evening as parents are scowling at you is not ideal. So, I'm happy to do a long lunch in the summer sat outside, drinks in the winter if you get the comfy chairs.
