Always busy, cider tastes not fresh however. Location is good near Trainstation however.

The vibe is great and the outdoor seating arrangement is nice. It's a good mix of old-fashioned and modern style. Food and drinks were good and I like that you can order from your table via the qr code. Staff were polite and friendly. Only negative is a lot of items are unavailable on the menu.

This pub is an Icon that has sat on this corner for many years. Rocking guitar bar staff and Austin (not from Texas, lol) told me my first Corona Beer "onTap" was well worth the price. Not bad but Mexican beer was born in a bottle/can. Thanks to the times there are tables outside (heatwave) and tables "round the side" good for gazing at an area that has changed a lot. I remarked to a local that Arding and Hobbs was not bad. He remarked, "the clock never worked". True. Now the clock works, but the store doesn't. Pure Irony. Funny - - the film "Up The Junction" was on and will help you see the changes; even the Battersea Power Station was running. In the movie a local estate agent renting to a posh girl from Chelsea asks: Do you think Battersea will ever regenerate and become upscale? If only he could see the gentrification of Northcott Road.

Beauty of a pub with sone lovely glass work. Always busy but worth dropping in for a pint to explore the place.

Much nicer inside than it looks from the outside! Bit of a shame there's TVs crammed into every possible corner, but other than that it's a cool old interior and what was once the longest bar in the world is a sight to behold. £5.40 for an Amstel.

What a super pub this is. A fine traditional establishment serving a variety of beers and larger. Ideal meeting place if you and some pals are converging on Clapham as it's very near the station.

Great, respect and confident staff. I met my dear Son here this evening .will be back. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the prawns on toast on fish share platter where weird. I / we will be back .x

Great atmosphere, good range of beers etc and the sort of place you'd be OK reading a paper, on your phone etc and left alone. But it has a good vibe going on.

The pie was excellent, but also had the seafood plate and it was medioca. Good atmosphere in the pub.

A lovely pub, a famously huge bar, great selection of beers, friendly and welcoming, and easily accessible from Clapham Junction mainline
