Reviews of The Five Points Brewery & Taproom
L. G.
Such a lovely brewery producing excellent beers, with a nice taproom plus fun outside space in the summer. We decided to do a brewery tour and had such a great time - Ryan was really accommodating and friendly, and a font of all beer-related knowledge! The tasting was pretty good, too. Very highly recommended. Thanks, Ryan!

My wife and I went along to Five Points Brewery with a couple of friends for a brewery tour last weekend and had an amazing time!
The space is extremely cool & well utilised and Ryan & Jess (our brewery tour and tasting guides) were phenomenal! They were incredibly knowledgeable and engaged the audience keeping us constantly laughing/ entertained throughout.
Then there's the beer... It's all fantastic! Five Points know how to do a core range extremely well and have mastered the flavours of their Pale and Juicy Pale Ales. But the seasonal cask is a always a particular highlight: we had green hopped numbers back in the autumn and there's currently an IPA (Homage) on cask crafted with legacy English hops. So smooth and creamy with just the right bitterness...
We'll be back again soon!
Keep doing all that you do best Five Points - thank you!

Did a tour here with Ryan Saturday before last. He was really engaging and passionate about craft beer, London and his own experience (my apologies for going on a weird whisky tangent!). Would be good to know a bit more about 5 Points specifically and the motivation for starting it and what's unique but still 5/5 and strongly recommend.

locally brewed beers are quite good, the taproom serves a large choice of beers for all tastes incl. some original ones.
the interior is nice and well thought, incl. the drinking space upstairs with view on the brewing beer vats.
food is great too.
definitely a top place to have good beers in east London.

Had a Fantastic afternoon and evening here. Brewery tour and Beer tasting were great fun.

Worth the trek up from Bethnal Green tube station. Some really tasty beers in a great beer 'garden' which is the arches of a railway viaduct. Go for the well made and glugable Jupitas Pale Ale, one of the nicest I have tasted this year.

A group of us had a great time on the tour led by Ryan. He kept us plenty entertained with brewing 101s and insights into the history of craft beer and brewing. Extremely engaging and the beers themselves were excellent.

Fresh beer with a huge outdoor seating area, tucked off the main road. Definitely worth a visit and ideal for big groups.

Great addition to the local taproom scene with fresh beer straight from the tank and some of the best pizza to be had. Good all year round but particularly looking forward to the summer here.

A brillint taproom, firendly staff and great beers.
Worth a visit :)

We had a tour here and it was incredible. If you are lucky enough to get Ryan he is the one of most knowledgeable people I have ever come across - we listened to him speak for a whole hour without interruption! Wow!

Wide drinks selection including alcohol free ones, amazing pizza and a nice vibe!

Went to the Green Hop Festival Beer Tasting hosted by Ryan. Great selection, funny and easy going event. Will definitely be coming to more in the future!

New permanent indoor taproom is very nice - big menu, two casks (which they do very well), mezzanine brewery views.

Five Points brewery tap is a lively place to drink. Decent beers and good food. Some of the outdoor seating has cover so is OK for poor weather. Tucked at the back of the brewery and the railway.

Amazing brewery and taproom! One of the best pale ales I have ever tasted

XPA is one of my favourite drinks on a hot sunny day. So with wood fired pizza and nice chilled music with great company, made it a lovely summer's day.

Great beers and friendly staff. This place will come into it's own in the summer. Have already convinced some mates to go visit. Will be back fairly soon!

Visited on the opening day and will return again soon. I can't think of better beer or pizza I've had anywhere else...

Wonderful friendly helpful staff as always, excellent beer, great atmosphere, amazing ace pizza and all nicely tucked under the arches

Recently reopened after lockdown. Smartphone ordering to your table. Pizzas available on site, but no hassle if you fancy ordering some other food in from elsewhere. Gets a little chilly once the sun goes down (in mid April 2021). Friendly approachable staff, great beers, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Super cool place, great beers. Highly recommend for an afternoon with mates.

I had a lovely experience on Five Points Brewery. The staff was incredibly nice and the service on point. The beer is amazing and I highly recommend the JUPA. Family friendly environment, clean toilets and pleasant music!

They have a very big open space and a delicious stone baked pizza

Delicious beer, and an incredibly accommodating and friendly team. Jack and the online sales team have been extremely helpful. If you haven't already, I would highly recommend trying their beer range. Many thanks

Great customer service! I ordered on the webshop and unfortunately received a notification letting me know part of my order was out of stock so it would be delayed. I emailed requesting a cancellation as it was a time sensitive present and Jack went above and beyond to make sure an alternative was sent. Amazing customer service, pretty blown away by how helpful he was! Thanks again!

It really does taste better from source! Nicely done 5points: great location and like the paying for reservation (with free pint). Gets rid of time wasters!

Excellent, beer and pizza, and heard some cool music on Saturdays too.

I went here own a Open Brewing day, which was a great experience. They were selling their own beers, on tap or in bottle, as well as some guest beers, and they also had some food and snack stalls. They also had some free beer tastings, and sessions on how they run their brewery and make their beer, with very interesting Q&A session afterwards. It was a very enjoyable experience, made even better with good beers.

I've made an effort over the past few years to visit the newer, smaller breweries in London, and this tops them all.
The whole session was informal, informative, and the tour guides were engaging and refreshingly honest (Even about forgetting things!). The group size is perfect; small enough so that you feel like they're engaging with you, but large enough to provide some atmosphere.
I'm going to start buying the tour vouchers as presents so I've got an excuse to go back for more samples.
The only change I'd like to see is if the takeaways were priced cheaper than the shops. I can buy the same can in my local shop as I can from here, whereas I would have expected some kind of discount.

Best spot in London for delicious beer and pizza

This is the warehouse and tap room for Five Points. Their local pub is the Pembury Tavern just up the road. XPA is by far my favourite beer from them. You can order from the website to collect in the afternoons and during summer they turned the car park in to a great socially distanced and safe outdoor drinking area with tables.
