A most delightful, higgledy-piggledy little pub a few yards from Pimlico underground station, on Lupus street. A homely feel with a lovely couple running the place, very friendly. Plenty of good beer, both cask and keg. Lots of simple tasty food available. Simply put, a special place, just what pubs should be about! A visit is highly recommended.

Popped in for a bite after seeing the lunchtime specials board outside. Had a breakfast bap with sausage, bacon and egg that came with tomato and lettuce. Nice portion of fries and a pot of tea. If it had been later in the day I would have had a nice pint. Food was great, piping hot and nice and tasty. Relaxed atmosphere with a few locals popping in and out.

🚇 Pimlico 🍺 £5.30 Amstel ❤️ Pimlico is a part of London I rarely visit and the only thing I’m aware of in this part of town is the plumbers. So to better understand the pub scene here, I decided to take a crawl around the area with my son for some extensive research, or a day out on the sauce to have it right. Our meeting point was here at The Gallery which is located just a stones throw away from Pimlico Tube and sits on busy Lupus Street. My son and I met up just before the pub opened at 11.30am and we bumped into the Landlady who was having a quick smoke outside prior to opening up. We must have looked a bit desperate hanging about waiting for the pub to open but we were keen to see what the pub was all about. We made are way inside and due to covid rules at the time it was table service only, the landlady came over and was very chatty and took our order of a couple of Amstel’s. Considering they were the first pints out of the pump, they were all ok. The decor here is very homely, big comfy sofa’s and a strong curtain game make this place feel very cosy. One thing I wasn’t expecting to see was a water fountain, which is a first for me in any boozer. There are a couple of big screens for those looking to catch a game and a fruity for the prospectors who like a flutter. The Gallery also has a traditional food menu available including roast dinners on Sundays. The atmosphere was calm as it was first knockings but a few punters trickled in during our early visit which livened things up a bit. . This is a steady boozer which has a couple of unique touches and is a good jumping off point to explore the pubs of Pimlico. Close to the Pimlico Tube Station Went there for a quick drink but the seating was comfy and the ambience was inviting so stayed on for a longer while. There seems to be a good food menu but the kitchen was closed as we entered the pub after 9 pm The only thing that put me off was people sitting and smoking at the entrance of the pub. A tad noisy and boisterous but I would go back for a drink again and try the dishes.

Excellent local pub across from Pimlico Underground stop! with great food and friendly staff. I had the salmon and it was very tasty. Outdoor street seating as well as some antiqued furniture seating inside added to the charm. The Meantime Pale Ale was excellent

Friendly staff and close to Pimlico underground. Fish n chips..Buy one get one half price though I didn't eat here. Did not see anyone eating on both visits so no comment on food. On both visits No Real Ale. Timothy Taylor and even London Pride not in stock. Typical story of London pubs having no London Pride,no idea why this should be. It may be supply or of course demand issues causing ales to spoil when not drunk within saleable date.

Visited the beautiful city of London in September. This pub was conveniently located near our hotel and was a wonderful place to grab dinner after a tiring day of sightseeing. We ate and drank there many evening and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I want their recipe for the gravy that comes with the bangers and mash, it was delicious!!!

Extraordinarily expensive for what it is. You could be stepping into any middle-of-the-market chain and yet the prices are pretty eye watering. Nice atmosphere, always fairly buzzy probably due to proximity to the tube. This is always lower on my list of pubs to go to in Pimlico.

Came for their Friday Fish n Chips Special. Had lots of beers as well! Great place. Waitress accidentally mixed up our food order with another table & treated us to a free round of beers. We were on vacation so it was just fine and left us with a pleasant impression of their place.

A welcoming experience in the middle of Pimlico. The drinks are standard fare and the prices are quite high for a by the numbers boozer - nearly £6 for a pint is too much.

Burger was just bad, patty was much too thick and not sure if seasoned at all, no sauce. Onion rings were nice and so was the fish and chips. Ale from the tap was as flat as water and the cider was average. Service was friendly and quick though and overall a nice atmosphere.

My daughter and I stopped in on a whim and I'm glad we did. She had the tortellini and I had their bacon cheese burger. The patty was super thick, perhaps a little too much so but that would be my only complaint. We both enjoyed our meals and the relaxed ambiance of the place.

We went in for a Sunday Roast. Everything was tasty and the portion size was good. Cost us £12 per plate. Not bad for a full meal in London. Drinks are 5/6 ea. So a little steep. But that’s London for you. Overall a great stop for us, and hopefully you too!

Great bar and great bartenders! Delicious selection of beers on tap and bottle. Traditional English ales available, as are "Americanized" cold beers on tap. I appreciate the bar not having stools so it's easier to walk up and get a drink.

Dinner was good, chicken cesar and fish and chips between the two of us. He had the Thatchers Cider, which was great on tap. Easy access right outside of the Pimlico tube station. Seating outside as well as inside. Found a cute little plaque near the bar stating it was the Official Meeting place of the Grumpy Old Men's group. Staff was friendly and the clientele looked to be local regulars.

I came here for dinner and a lager, and not only was the service quick and extremely friendly, but the food was relatively delicious. It was so great I decide to give it a go for breakfast the next morning and it did not disappoint. The prices are fair (the pints are a bit pricy) but it is right next to the Underground station, and they have plenty of room and clean toilets. Well the gents room was clean. I couldn't for the ladies room. On top of all that, I loved the music the had playing during my visits, and I would definitely recommend this place in a pinch.

As an Epileptic sufferer who has been locked into my flat a week prior the lock down I have finally begun to venture out and have popped into The Gallery for a pint of Guiness and some general conversation with humans. Staff working on site are amazing, extremely kind, friendly and thoughtful. The entire establishment is clean and sanitised.

24.06.2020 Miss London, xxxxx A very special place to meet friends: good ales, polite waiters, welcoming atmosphere and a very comfortable furniture. I am sure we will visit this pub again to taste not only ales but also dishes which looked so appetising.

I am only giving 5 stars purely to the fact the vegan lady behind the bar was so accommodating! There's hardly any vegetarian or vegan options but she helped me so much and I had a lovely beetroot salad and she kindly gave me some vegan cheese! The menu needs a serious update!! They have a buy one get one free burger deal on Wednesday with absolutely nothing without meat!! Also bangers and mash monday and a fish option another day... again nothing even vegetarian! As a local I can say it's without a doubt the only pub in the area with such an out dated menu. Other than that the staff are lovely :)

Fiery warming pepper gravy with crispy roast potatoes, swede and sweet potato mash that had caramelized crusty bits, crunchy yorkies and tender thick slices of pork...the perfect Sunday...would give 5* but the interiors are a little dated for my taste . Nevertheless, if you are a tourist, this really feels like the quintessential English pub of days gone by admist the plethora of gastro pubs..

For the area the prices are good. Decent selection of food and drink. I've had some really good evening meals here and I've had some that have been so-so. Staff are friendly and restaurant is clean and comfortable.

Been here a couple of times to meet with a friend. The upstairs is best if you're going there more for conversation. As the name suggests, there's a gallery of seats around the first floor with the centre left open. It's much more peaceful in this part in my experience.
