Reviews of The Gipsy Queen
A. R.Wow! What an amazing place. Looks like an ordinary pub. However, they got a beautiful beer garden, and see extremely great food with inspiration from Japan.
I had the pork okonomiyaki with two pale ales. Probably the best meal in London so far. The price is really good considering the quality and size of the food.
Update: This place also rotate the kitchen. During my time in London they've also had a gang serving ribs (amazingly good), Turkish street food (pretty average), and now they have smash burgers (really amazing). Love this concept, and if you like burgers like me you should head there now!
I'll be back soon again! They were fully booked on this Saturday from 3pm and onward, but during lunch you can find a table without a problem!

R. A. (.I haven't been in here for a few years but was in the area so we chanced it after work. Walked in to a great and genuine welcome. Really nice chatty staff nice decor and a pleasant crowd. It feels like a proper "local" pub without the awkward clique you get when walking in some places
S. A.Terrific, laid back local pub with a really excellent beer selection (Deya, Verdant, Northern Monk) and decent wine as well. The resident food is Smash Burgers, which are fantastic and I hope they stay there for a while. Service is extremely courteous and helpful. Cool interior design with a vaguely nautical feel. Spacious and comfortable. Clientele a nice mix of the new and old of Chalk Farm/Tufnell Park. Family friendly but not a creche (thankfully).
My only gripe is that the TVs are on _all the time_. Kind of wish they would just do it for big sports events, since it makes the place feel more like a bar than a pub, at times, but hey, horses for courses!
F. O.Great local pub, staff go the extra mile, particularly the waitress with specs dealing with food orders, her enthusiasm put the customers in the right mood. Food is quite decent and served from 5pm, also at lunch on Sat/Sun, £3.5 tapas on Tuesdays. Current residency is Nomad Bros, Turkish classics with a modern twist (using a Lahmacun - Turkish pizza - as a wrap is a simple yet revolutionary addition, ask for it when you order). Wraps are pretty big but also too spicy in my opinion. Menu has been recently changed with a larger selection of fries and dulce de leche as a new dessert.
D. Y.Good pub! Great service also the pub has a good selection of beers and some craft beers. The food this time i had the rack city ribs. that is served here is absolutely amazing. Recommend a visit

Great beer selection on tap with friendly staff and nice atmosphere, only down side is it's too bright! Get a dimmer switch installed 🤣
