Very atmospheric venue, you could really feel the passion people had here towards music. The staff were friendly and entertaining

Visitedast night for the first time (from Manchester) absolutely superb pub, friendly locals who were very accommodating to us northerners! Fab prices compared to the rest of Camden and indeed London in general. Will be back 🍻🍻🍻

❤️ Camden Town has a great variety of pubs offering punters lots of choice, whether it be a quiet pint or a craving for a bit of live music. So with all this choice and after a bit of deliberation I decided that as part of today’s crawl I would visit The Good Mixer. It’s pretty easy to get here as It’s just a short walk from Camden Town Tube station. I visited on a Friday afternoon and it was fairly steady here with the majority of punters sitting outside enjoying the fine spring weather. I sat inside in the right hand bar so I could have a nose about, I ordered a pint and took a pew. There were a couple of lads sat next to me who were impeccably dressed in their Mod gear complete with tank tops and boating shoes having a chat about the latest bands and songs which they liked. To the left of me were a group of lads who I presume were in a band, they were talking about their musical aspirations, by the way I’m not an eves dropper but just loved taking in the atmosphere here which was great. The pub has some claims to fame with The brilliant Amy Winehouse popping in for a game of pool and apparently the Blur/Oasis beef starting here. Ironically, Oasis was playing on the music system as the pub bathed in the Sonshyyyyyyyne...

Like I said earlier, Camden has a lot to offer the discerning pub goer. Now, I know the amount of tourists who visit here can do your nut in because we all want a little bit of Camden to ourselves, but Nikon cameras and Texan twangs aside, pay this one a visit as it maintains that bit if authenticity we crave when we visit this part of town.

Cool vibe, great selection of drinks, very welcoming pub with very comfy seats, especially if you've been trudging round London for 2 days. West End prices but worth it

Been here a few times. Down to earth little boozer. Mix of locals and the odd tourist. Bar staff are attentive and helpful and appear to be happy to engage with customers. Has a pool table round the front and outdoor seating.

Great little pub with an ecclectic bunch of regulars, I wouldn't say this pub tries to be trendy, nor is it decorated to make a statement which I salute. Bold in its hosting big noise new bands the audience can sit outside you can go out for a 🚬 and not miss anything. Large bowl of hot crunchy chips was a bonus....shame about London prices

Classic venue. Manager was really great to us after there was a hiccup with the private space booked. It was Friday night and there was a type of Indie Disco DJ on. Had a great time.

Gotta love this place, is scruffy but feels like it should, hasn't changed much over the decades since I first had a drink here back in the early 90s, the toilets are a touch better, down to one pool table an no more live music on the smallest stage ever
