We arrived around 7.30pm. The atmosphere was an interesting mix, not what one would expect when entering a building like this. But: The food was great, the music was a bit too loud for my taste and the crew was very kind. The three of us chose all three small plates, they were just great and more than enough to share with three people.

I had my daughter's communion celebrations here yesterday and I couldn't be happier. From beginning to end we were catered for amazingly. The staff were so friendly and efficient, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was great. Everyone commented on what a nice place it was, as well as how delicious to food was. I would definitely think of it again for my next event 🙂

Having frequently visited the pub in its previous incarnation I actually quite like what Antic have done with the place. Nice spaces and great to see beers like Tribute on tap. Bar could do with being slightly bigger though.

Don't let the shabby chic interior put you off this place with its new(ish) chef offering amazing food especially the Sunday roasts. Being dog friendly we come here most Sunday's. Food never gets boring the menu changes regularly and is served by great staff. I'll let the pictures show you how good it is.

Friendly atmos pub with a period/vintage feel to the building and large outdoor area very close to Bermondsey tube. On quite a busy main road but next to a beautiful and accessible church yard that distracts from the urban setting.

Decent pub right next to Bermondsey tube station. Really good food and especially decent for vegetarians - recommend the halloumi fries and nachos. Table service and good value for drinks. They also offer free drinks for NHS workers when a valid ID is shown. Good covid measures - hand sanitiser, tracing, table service and spaced tables. Would've preferred some more space between seated tables overall though

Wonderful!!! The staff was just incredibly charming from start to end! I had my little dog and was welcomed with smiles and she got cuddles too :) Although the kitchen was not open the guy at the bar was lovely and said is just 10 mins until they open if you would like to wait :) so I did and I ordered a lovely burger with fries (massive) followed by a brownie and salted caramel ice cream all really good even if the ice cream was a bit weird (probably defrosted and got frozen again so tasted watery) I asked to change for another ice cream and it was no trouble and even an apology was made so very happy with the attitude from this other guy that served me! The place has gone from really bad English stinky full of drunkees with no proper kitchen to a complete refurbished dog friendly and complete new look with delicious food..

Antic pub a stone’s throw from Bermondsey station, with a big selection of top-shelf spirits, ales and ciders. Like all Antic pubs, the decor is “artfully scruffy” and tends to attract a laid back crowd in their late 20s and up. There’s books and boards games inside, and a big outdoor seating area to the front.

Nice Pub with great atmosphere. We had burger, ale and cider and we were totally happy. Still water was for free, like in every pub in london. The employees were friendly. The only thing I disliked was the closeness of a highly frequented road nearby. Hence sitting outside was not very relaxing.

This is a really lovely local pub with super friendly staff who made it a great experience. Our Sunday roast was quite delayed due to being short staffed, but these things happen, and the way it was communicated by the manager and we were offered another drink while we waited, meant that it wasn't an unpleasant delay and the roast was well worth the wait!

What a lovely pub, a real London gem. Had the vegan roast the other Sunday and was blown away; vegan roasts can be quite hit or miss and this one was 100% hit. Will be back as often as I can.

Lovely pub with middle range pricing for drinks. Not cheap but not expensive either. The pub does regular pub quizzes with cash prize for winning team who also win a game of "Higher-or-Lower" with giant playing cards Bruce Forsyth style. On the night I visited team member from winning team of pub quiz won £630 after successive weeks of roll-overs.

Lovely tudor-style pub in Bermondsey with a beautifully decorated interior. Definitely one to visit if you enjoy good architecture and a cozy feel. They also have a large front outdoor garden to enjoy the summer weather. The drinks and food are quite good. However, they don't have a drinks menu, meaning I was charged £6 for a bottle of ginger beer without knowing the price. It might have been a mistake by the server (who seemed quite young), but I recommend asking for the prices of the drinks before ordering so you don't get surprised.

Good pub, always seem to run out of Volden each week, ordered nachos with guacamole - a bowl of tortilla chips and guacamole on the side - lets be really clear this isn't nachos, nachos are a dish with cheese, salsa etc. Not marking you down too much for that as generally enjoy the pub but this is really false advertisement. Also what is with the multiple signs saying no Amex?!

Go for the drinks, stay for the staff and leave for the food. A nice selection of drinks and the staff is willing to help choose if you're so inclined. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place itself has a nice environment as well. The only "downside" would be the food as it feels a bit overrated and overpriced, even if it is a gastropub. I felt they would be more at home as a normal pub with some decent food. Go for fries if you're hungry

The place is nice. Near Bermondsey Underground Station, in a detached house. It has got many tables outside and plenty of room inside. The food is decent, the typical things you can find in a pub. The beer could be better. The staff is friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere in summer evenings with all the outside tables full of people chatting.

Nice outdoors space, always enjoyable when the weather allows it. Good amount of beers on tap, and quite a wide range of food options. Halloumi fries are good, the beef burger was nothing out of this world. Having friendly and smiley staff would have made a difference though, the bartender was just rude to our entire group, which kind of ruined it.

Really good Sunday Roast. Nice neighbourhood pub that was refurbished and reopened under new management in 2016. Beer selection is limited as they are tied to a brewery - it would be great to see more local brews. Lots of space broken up in to smaller rooms - nice place to hang out on a Sunday for a roast

Pretty standard, yet spacious, boozer. You'll find all the beers you'd expect to find here, for a reasonable price. Food is good and quite cheap, as well. There are certainly cooler, more craft oriented, pubs in Bermondsey.... But sometimes you simply want a good old pub to sit with friends and throw back a few pints.

Friendly pub frequented by a mix of the local community. Often busy, but never uncomfrotably rammed. Some reviews say that the beer selection is limited: this is not true. The craft beer selection is certainly limited, however there is a large selection of cask ale (6 pumps). I have tried the chicken burger and it was great! The pub is on the Marathon route which is coming up (23 April) and has local pubs, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walking radius.

Can't speak on the food but as a pub its nice enough and located close to Bermondsey station. The pub has a large inside area and benches outside for warmer days. Nothing overly special though and the service left a fair bit to be desired as we had to wait a fair bit for drinks and staff seemed a bit confused as to what was going on.

The environment is neat and nice. The seating is cosy. They don't take care payments although there is a cash point near by. I had the gregorian breakfast. It was a nice stew with poached egg on top accompanied by 2 slice of toast. In my experience it's more of a winter comfort breakfast than a summer hearty breakfast.

There are a lot of tables and vintage shops (apparently, the owners think that an unpainted picket fence is already old). This immediately adds points. Everything inside needs repairs. Июль 2018 очень был жаркий, поэтому выбирали пабы только с открытой площадкой. Столов и винтажных лавок (видимо, хозяева думают, что некрашенный штакетник- это уже старина) много. Это сразу добавляет очков. Внутри всё требует ремонта. Но функцию свою напоить пивом нас, усталых и перегретых паб выполнил.
