My friends joined me there for a birthday dinner and we all had a tremendous time. The pub is clean and inviting and easy to feel relaxed in.. The food was good and the staff were intent on making sure we enjoyed our visit. We look forward to our next visit.

Great atmosphere. Shame the kitchen seems to either be shut or half of the things on the menu aren't available. How about bring back the sunday roast? Many moons ago you guys use to do it! Was amazing.

Lovely local pub with a great garden space. Part of the outdoor space is covered and the rest is exposed to the elements, so there's something for everyone! They usually have resident food stalls, so keep an eye out on their socials. Managed to go when Jerk + Grind were there and had an amazing, hugeeeee Carribbean roast dinner. Would recommend for sure. They also show sport 👌🏿

They have a huge and lovely outside area, very quaint, colourful and enjoyable. I think pictures speak for themselves! 🌷 Upon entering the pub we were given a very clear explanation of their covid and safety rules 🙂 They’ve also implemented an online ordering system (to avoid physical menus) which we thought is pretty organised and the service was really fast. Oh they also have a huge screen for any football fans. Definitely would highly recommend this pub and would go there regularly if we lived nearby.

We stumbled across The Griffin as staying in the area for a couple of days, popped in for a quick drink and they managed to find us a table for the football match that evening. Love this pub! The atmosphere is wonderful inside and even better in the spacious beer garden. The missing variety in terms of local ales they definitely make up with the delicious and creative choice of food!

Good place to have a meal and drinks. Only problem is that customers are not following the rules as set out by the government. Staff tries their best to encourage customers to respect the rules, only when they happened to be passing when serving the drinks and meals.

I wasn't very happy with our lunch. To start with it was a struggle to order the drinks and the food. I was disappointed to find out there was only pizza in the menu and the table it was dirty, I realise it's a garden table but wouldn't hurt to clean when your customers arrive. We'd have had more drinks but like said before struggled with the ordering App.

Really nice pub! The beer garden is lovely, and there are outdoor toilets (which are actually nice and clean!) so you dont have to go in and out of the main pub. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and there is a stall selling pizza outside which you can order to your table. I had the Hot Dod, which was incredible - I ate the whole thing, which I wouldnt usually be able to manage! Will definitely be back.

Lovely beer garden. Paid a tenner for a burger with a brioche bun that was cut up in a square and poor quality beef. Potato salad also awful and I'm generally very easily pleased. Sort your kitchen out!

The best Sunday roast we've had in a long time. We both had the beef and the meat was good quality, there were a good amount of well cooked veggies and roasties, plus the gravy was delicious. Staff were lovely and attentive too.

Held sons 18th party birthday celebration here. The staff kept us in good communication, were accommodating to our needs, sorting out speakers for music&allowing us to bring in cake. We ordered buffet food which was tasty&a good quantity. (The only thing to note is the room was quite narrow&furniture could do with a spruce up,but then again the room was free to hire.The drink is also on the pricey side) Overall we were very happy with our choice&my son had a very happy memorable occasion there! I loved this London pub. Staff food and other clientele were wonderful. Food was okay for price considering how busy they were. Music was diverse and pleasing. I was so tired I did not notice the disabled access.

Good pub, nice garden... I've only been twice but both times unfortunately a number of taps were off and the Guinness came out like ice cream. If that was fixed, would be a good little battle cruiser. Maybe I was just unlucky. The staff are nice enough.

Fantastic Nut and Veg Roast, even though I'm not a vegetarian, I gave this a try and was really pleased I did. The nut roast itself had loads of flavour, and the veg was all really well cooked and seasoned. Friendly staff and other customers. Did have the football on, but not too loud, so you could still chat easily.

This was the best cheesy chips I have ever had! It had been a very cold day. After nearly freezing to death, We found shelter in the griffins warm arms. Hot, melted cheesey goodness poured over thick, hand cut chips. When we say poured, we mean drenched, chips swimming in the cheese! And this was no ordinary cheese - we can’t say what type of magic they used - but we did see the chef POUR the cheese from the pan. Wow. And it was all served with a smile. Thank you The Griffin. Just what we needed.

I love The Griffin, great beer garden, great atmosphere, amazing pub quiz with brilliant prizes on a Thursday - but look up your new releases for the twist question at the end! The live music is really chilled out, and perfect for a few pimms in the sunshore outside. The food is great...but the prices are a bit OTT which makes you go next door and get awesome food at half the price.

My local so expect bias. Nevertheless, a lovely friendly pub with a real fireplace, three big screens across various spaces and one of the biggest gardens in the area. Comes into its own in summer but the wood panelling, two sided bar and back rooflight makes it welcoming when it's chilly outside too. Food is okay, nothing special but great deals in the week mean you can have a cheap night too. Toilets small but always clean and staff always courteous. Long live the Griffin
