Our first time here & we will definitely be back. Really nice pub, free parking for its visitors. Lovely inside & outside. Much bigger than expected. You can book your table via phone or app in advance - or you can just turn up ( Sep 2021). The menu offer is good, offers variety & reasonably priced. Children menu available. You can order via app or you can order at the bar. Check your table number first. They take cash as well! We went on Saturday afternoon & it was fairly busy, it got very busy around 6pm. We waited for a bit, but nothing major if you are expecting fresh food. The staff were definitely rushed off their feet, but still very nice & smiley & helpful. Food was very tasty, everyone enjoyed it. The toilets were clean, changing room for babies available. Buggy friendly. Definitely family friendly. If I could ask to improve something- please do bring in something for kids to do. A slide, small trampoline, some games, sand pitch, climbing frame, maybe some colouring pencils or boarding games? That would be fantastic ( for parents). I gathered the offer quizzes during the week & there’s a special ( cheaper) food offer Monday - Friday. Overall - a lovely place, yummy food, friendly staff & atmosphere - we will be back. No longer Harvester - it’s under the new management of Ember Inns since September 2021. Thank you!

Enjoyed a meal out here with the family. Our waitress was lovely as were the bar staff, and they all gave service with a smile (quite rare these days). Food was good, I ordered sweet chilli noodles and they came out very fresh with lots of healthy veg packed in, so a nice change from the usual pub grub you sometimes find in places like these. Had the perk of some live music towards the end of our evening which was entertaining. We very much enjoyed our visit and I would return without hesitation.

I've been going to the Gryphon since 2007, so I've had the opportunity to see various people run the place. Today was the first time I have been here since it has changed hands (July 2021). I can truly say that the change has been for the best. My experience this evening was positive for sure. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was very nice and decently priced. The best part is the massive drink selection compared to previous owners. I will definitely be back due to the above. Keep up the hard work!

Just had my mum's 70th family get together, gryphon Grange were super accommodating, the buffet food was so nice, staff were attentive and I couldn't have asked for a better service all round. 10/10 thanks for allowing my family to make a fab memory during this horrible COVID pandemic which keeps families apart. It looks great inside post-remodel with a nice atmosphere. Food was fantastic, with lots of vegan and vegetarian options available for those (like me) who want them - which was a very pleasant surprise. I think I may just have found my new local!

A few mates took me to this place and I was first blown away with their menu. And then so many different varieties of options available. It took us a while to decide. But I have to say, the staff was friendly and answered most of our silly questions. But we did order a variety of food to try. And everything on the table was delicious. Just outclass. Fresh taste and good ingredients used.

English/American style pub. We arrived here around 1.30 pm on a Thursday. Most of the tables were empty, however it took a while (and few hand waving) to get a table. Then after 15 min of waiting for a menu, I picked one for the cashier and asked to order. Beside this, the food and prices are average. The also offer a all-you-can-eat salad bar.

Is recently refurbished so it is beautifully decorated. Even though as evident from the pictures only three tables were occupied at the time our order took ages to arrive and when it did the chips were cold. The salad bar was beautifully stocked. The children were welcome and the staff was polite. However the air-conditioning was leaking water again (it happened at a previous visit) all over the ladies toilets. The toilets were not properly maintained. The car park was spacious and the outdoor seating was very pleasant.

Took advantage of the 50% off mains deal, and first time visiting the Gryphon. Nice clean and bright pub, and staff were friendly and attentive. We all had burgers which were okay, but just lacked a bit of va-va voom, so to speak! Like I say, nothing wrong with the food, but a bit of salad or something else on the plate (coleslaw) would have lifted it from a bit ordinary to 'yum, must come here again'! Anyway, maybe give it a try as nothing bad, but just a bit of a bland event all round really!

Came here one weekday evening, ordered off the set menu however as disappointed. The king prawn cocktail which came at a £2 supplement was quiet pathetic a few small prawns on a lettuce leaf and a slice of bread. This is quite bad. The portion was tiny as-well. The Gryphon has changed so much for the better under Charlotte's management. Its a real shame she won't be there when it becomes an Amber Inn in 6 weeks. Fingers crossed for the Gryphon being THE pub of Grange Park , rather than Grange Parks pub !

It's been the first time we've been along to the Harvester in ages and I've really missed the place. Wonderful service by the lovely Mandy. Our food arrived promptly, was presented well as well as hot and tasty. I wondered how we'd get around the salad bar with all the restrictions in place and it was a pleasant experience. I stood back on a marked spot and said yes/no to what I wanted. The drinks were supplied rather than self service too. We hope to come back soon.

I went to The Gryphon harvester last month and the food was fantastic so I thought I'd go again to see if the trend continued. Wow, wow wow. We both had the festive menu - I had the turkey and it was so moist and well cooked and the accompaniments like the roast potatoes were perfectly done. My partner has the ultimate mixed grill and that was a huge portion (needless to say he was well pleased!). He's really fussy as feels Wetherspoons never quite get his steak right and he actually stopped on the way out to compliment the chefs as both the steak and gammon was so well cooked. The gammon was a generous thick slice and very moreish and the kids mean also went down a treat. I don't know why their soft serve ice cream taste so much better than so many places I have tried but I might not be so keen to share next time. Thank you Sharon for the brilliant attentive service we received last month and to Anna today for taking such brilliant care of us. They both worked non-stop and had so many tables to tend to and still did so with a smile on their faces. Needless to say we will be back..

Had lunch out at the Gryphon for the first time in a long time. Always found it to be a very clean and generally fantastic Harvester and today I wasn't disappointed despite the additional covid restrictions in place. Mandy, our waitress, is always friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. You are able to view the salad bar and order what you want but this is served to you together with any drinks refills now. No waiting for food, salad or drinks and everything was spot on and tastes delicious. Would recommend this Harvester over any other - great place to eat!

It was my first time going to a Harvesters yesterday and it's one of my best decisions, me and my family or starters. They came very quick and tasted great, then our mains came and the quality was just as great. The man who took our order who I believe was called Jordan was very polite and the service was very high standard. Would love to go again and I recommend it to anyone and if you're thinking to go you should definitely as it's just a great time.

We have gone to this harvester for many years. The service is great. However, the price has increased a lot but the quality has not really changed. We had 40% off but that was the only reason we went. I would prefer to go to another restaurant instead for a similar price.

Service was slow & mediocre as there was not enough staff to cope with the amount of customer's they had so we waited 20 mins to order our drinks along with the food. I came here with my folks and my dad's mum to celebrate Mothers Day and my birthday. I love going to Harvesters and i've not been in a very long time. The service was really good, despite it was getting crowded. The food was excellent and the soda machine was great (i mainly drank Pepsi Max); though the house wine was pretty bland-other than that, the experience was terrific.👌🏿

We went in the hair a week ago with the mother-in-law. What was ordered seemed to be appreciated. Maybe I made a mistake of ordering what was said to be a Caribbean dish having been a very regular visitor to the Caribbean. It was ok but.... I wouldn't say it did Caribbean cuisine any justice and was rather lacking in vegetables for a dinner. On the plus side this scientific imbalance of acid and alkaline can easily be remedied by the free access to the solid bar. We do think that this is an excellent feature of this type of restaurant. Overall the experience was quite good really

Update 19:10 today I posted this earlier an completed feedback. The management contacted me. They organised the cancellation within a minutes of my response. I have to say excellent customer service. I look forward to frequenting the Gryphon for many years to come. Please remember to give your registration in at the front desk or bar! Horrible experience. Visited Gryphon for years only to find out that it charges for parking. I visited at 2130 so missed the notices in the dark. Nothing I remember seeing inside. Now have a PCN for £85 most expensive wine and soda & lime ever. Never going again

Took my two grandsons aged 9 and 12 here for dinner. Not been here before but had been to other Harvester restaurants where the service had been poor and the food not much better. What a pleasant surprise we had here. The waitress Karli was amazing. She was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The good came quickly and was wonderful. When it came time to ask for the bill Karli advised me to download the Harvester App on my phone so that I could take advantage of the offer. All in all it was a great evening and I have to say that Karli was amazing.

Always our family’s go to place for any occasion, we are in the food biz ourselves serving the working lads and lasses at an industrial estate, so we know decent food at a reasonable price, never had a bad meal there and the staff are always there when you need them, and out of the way not hovering when you don’t, nice Pub too. must remember to take it easy on that salad bar though hehee, too much healthy grub and the meals after are a struggle to finish !

One of my favorite pub. Warm and cosy. It has a huge garden, its a kids friendly place so great for families. Food- if You have ever been in any od the Harvesters across the country - is really good. Staying in London from approx 95 miles away we did an impromptu Google search for a convenient, Saturday-evening "Harvester" venue midway between our respective Enfield & Southgate hotels. We definitely made the right choice ! Attractively presented & thoroughly enjoyable main meals with inclusive side salad offer (plus soft drink multi-refills for a flat-rate £3.25). Reasonably priced & served by friendly staff. Is clean too. We resolved to revisit next time !

I use the place regularly but unfortunately this time left frustrated that whilst I requested the desert for my son the lady proceeded to totally ignore taking food out and cleaning cutlery . I waited 30 mins and eventually a helpful young lady I think.a.assistant manager sorted out

Great food, reasonably priced and just a great atmosphere. The staff are great there and deliver a good service! Would definitely recommend to anyone (it’s a lot better as an ember inns than a harvester)! The place is nicely decorated definitely worth the 5 stars!!
