Covered Karaoke here recently and I have to say, this is one of the friendliest & nicest Karaoke places I've been to. I was massively impressed by the staff and patrons and amazed at how encouraging everyone was to every singer that got up to sing. Lovely night and will always be open to coming back.

A number of rowdy regulars which left my guests feeling a little on edge. The pub itself is has table tennis (on Tuesdays) and a pool table. A few screens for sports. All round a good pub. I think the rowdy regulars should be given some guidelines to allow all visitors to feel comfortable.

Possibly the greatest pub I've ever been to. Cheap pints, superb staff and friendly locals. Had a little roll through sesh with some mates on New year's day, watched the footy and darts, Arsenal were robbed of 3 points. No where else I would have have rather been. 10/10 would go again. I'd give the slotty machines a miss though

If you’re local come here. Best atmosphere in Brixton/Streatham. The staff are amazing and everyone is up for a fun time. Plenty of events put on! Pool table, darts. Couldn’t ask for any more. X

Barman was amazing, great recommendation on the malibu and pineapple and just a really good atmosphere with screens for the football and a pool table fir between games. Great prices too, much cheaper than other pubs in Streatham. Hidden gem.

Visited the pub with my Sister over the weekend. The atmosphere was excellent the music was excellent the DJ played excellent old reggae which I totally enjoyed. A warm and welcoming establishment. Will be going back again when the DJ is next there.

Wonderful place there are pool in good conditions, and some other things to play, toilets cleaned, good smell there, good measures for the covid, hand sanitizer, tables with distance, screen when you order, especific place for collect the orders... Very nice place. The waitress so nice.

Very efficient and friendly staff. On a busy night they dealt with queues swiftly, overlapping to make sure orders were seen to and glasses were collected. They have a pool table. They have tables outside on the pavement. When I was there they had a decent dj although I think that was for a party. No fancypants franchise menu as far as I could see, this is a pub, for grownups, with a diverse clientele of people from a diverse area.

We invade this brilliant pub roughly once a month for the excellent music. The bar staff are superb, everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is great. It's a fantastic local pub that greets you with open arms.

Passed by just for a quick social drink with friends but staied until closing time enjoying the drinks, not too expensive and the performers having a funky gig. I ended up being recognised from the host Danna that invited me to play a couple of song for them. Nice vibes, friendly people, decent drinks and after a pool table, also cool music. I attended The Hand in Hand Bar in Brixton Hill, as I was asked to play there with two other female DJs. It was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the venue. I can't lie, the pub could do with some external decorating to lift its appeal, but inside is actually quite nice and the space is big. The layout almost appears to be divided into two halves separated by the bar in the middle. One end of the venue hosts a pool table, slot machines, etc., whilst the other has an area where open mic takes place, DJs play from and where dancing can take place. There's ample seating with tables, but it doesn't take away from the amount of room available. I found it a welcoming place, even for new customers. Although I'm not necessarily a pub goer, I'd visit again.

Hidden gem of Brixton Hill, amazing staff and facilities. Great value for money at 3.20 for a pint of Star. Only issue would be that the music runs too late and is too loud for locals, 11pm curfew would be better

Friendly boozer with island bar, pool table, and small-screen sport behind the bar. £10 minimum spend for card. Lagers and one or two decent ales. Smart punky decor, comfy seats, park benches outside with a good view of the stunning school building across the road.

Mr Dough - is the lovely little eatery attached to the pub, it's sourdough pizza is totally worth it....and as a pizza lover I think it's a tiny bit better than the acclaimed Brixton fave Franco Manco. A lot of love goes into these reasonably priced pizza's...totally worth it!
