Really lovely pub, friendly staff, and Blue Moon on tap. Also kindly looked after something I left behind when drunk to collect the following day - now that's service.
G. B.
Very friendly service, the food is good and fish and chip's fish was huge. The fish tacos were good and not like the tacos we're used to. The draft beer was also good and big. The atmosphere is cozy and hip. Plus, the restroom had cute antique style to it. Lol

We celebrated my Grandson birthday.
Excellent evening. Lovely atmosphere
S. M.
I went there in the early afternoon for a cider. Really quite place with nice music. I gave only 4 stars because they have only 2 ciders options.
A. S.
Finally some proper Belgian fries in London! The burger is also very nice, not sorry Patty you get in most other pubs. Definitely would come back.
M. R.
Great appetizers and good drinks. Fish and chips and bangers an mash was very good, but the do leave the skin one side if the fish when they fry it.
E. D.
This pub is the greatest. Lovely staff, great beers and food.
Check out the events in their top room - Rhymes With Orange just relocated there.
C. V.
Very nice pub with friendly stuff and good food and beer!
B. D.
Nice pub with live music. Was very quiet on a Saturday night though.
J. M.
Great welcoming friendly pub. The food is first class all washed down with a nice selection of ales.
A. E.
Stopped in for afew drinks, it's a hugh pub. Friendly and fast service.
В. C.
nice for 1-2 nights. There is a bar downstairs, al guests have 10% discount for meal. Breakfast is included. wi fi doesn't fast, but patient.
E. B.
Good Sound sometime live and nice Interior.....i like places like this....maybe because around my Home never have the same but anyway the peoples are really authentic and the workingpeople very funny so we can drink and enjoy ouer fresh Cider Beer.
L. M.
Very kind and friendly service! Excellent food. Spacious and good atmosphere. When less people, excellent to have a quiet chat.
B. I.
Great get together after evening class. Good food reasonably priced drinks what more can you ask for. Keep up the good work guys.x😀
R. T.
Huge pub with decent drinks prices. Great space for private hire especially over the weekend when the pub is a bit quieter. Friendly bar staff and huge upstairs room also available for hire. I haven’t tried the food yet.
Y. B. R.
It's a good place to sleep as hostel & to get some drinks and meal, the only worst point, it wasn't a pleasure to found my room dirty (the one with 12 people).
S. C.
The staff here are so great - they'll do what they can to get you a table even when it's busy - so so nice and really welcoming. Everyone works as a team. The food is really good and the fish and chips are huge! Tons of different burgers to choose from and the atmosphere is calm despite how busy it can get. This is a great pub for night and day. Groups welcomed with open arms :)
C. L.
Not the best hostel but a great place for a drink and lunch
K. D.
Kitchen is not currently functional and most of beers were not available
A. M.
Great place, nice steaks with mash. Good choice of beer. And music is chill and at good volume :) Fully saticfied :)
T. A.
Three stars is a harsh rating for this place, but it weirdly has very little atmosphere. It shows sports, but isn't rammed with fans. It serves good craft ale, but isn't rammed with hipsters. It looks like a family friendly pub in rural England, but isn't rammed with families. All very strange, but a good place to have a drink when you're around Waterloo and looking for a nice quiet spot. Also the staff are super friendly!

I went this place on 3 Feb 2020 The staff were lovely. The Lady from Australia chose my beers for me which were great and so was she. The food was simple wholesome and well priced. Nice clean place, I'll go again if I'm in the area.
B. W.
I tried two cocktails and both were to a great standard and well priced. Great service and would certainly come again.

Wow so tasty! This pub was right across the street from our hotel in Waterloo, and it was some of the best fish n chips I've ever had! We tried some other delicious food on other nights, but most nights I just kept resorting back to the fish n chips! We ate here a lot... so good
P. N.
Had Sunday lunch and drinks here. It's an old fashioned kind of pub, and not all that clean, but drinks are pretty reasonable for central London. Can't complain on portion size, you get a good plate of food for your money, unfortunately chicken was overcooked and dry. All staff were friendly, and service is quick. Overall, a good place for a few drinks with friends, but would probably eat elsewhere if I'm honest.
T. Š.
Location great, free breakfast. Bad things: no late common area, small bath facilities, no shelves,..
C. R.
This place rules! Very well located between the center of London (Big Ben, London Eye etc) and Waterloo Station. It’s also right next to a bus stop and an underground station is right across the street so you can buy bus tickets, Oyster cards or get on the underground tube. I stayed for three nights in a mixed dorm room and it was my first time staying in a hostel and I’m so happy with my stay. If you have personal, expensive belongings they will lock them up for you while you’re away exploring the city, they cleaned the rooms and baths every single day, and the staff is absolutely lovely! My first day touring the city I got completely drenched and my shoes were still wet the next day. Lily, who works there, let me borrow a hair dryer to dry them! Everyone who works there is very helpful with directions and I felt very comfortable and at home there, plus they have great food and beer! Their fish and chips is wonderful! Thank you for making my trip to London memorable! You guys rock!
E. S.
Nice quirky friendly pub with a good selection of beers and a good selection of gins. Lots of freindly bar staff, so we got served quickly, even as the pub was busy. The pub has a good mixed crowd of locals and tourists. Will return when I am in the area next.
D. E.
We hosted our annual charity Christmas Pub Quiz at the Horse and Stables and they were so wonderfully accommodating to every single need! Jess worked with me to make sure we had all our drinks in the room ready to go, as well as tables, PA system, music and plenty of seating for guests. The upstairs event room was brilliant and the staff were happy to bring us drinks and food throughout the night. 10/10 service!
R. F.
We just popped in here looking for a place open on Sunday. I got the Steak & Ale pie and my husband got the herb chicken. Both were excellent and the service was prompt. Glad we stumbled upon this gem.Very good English pub food!! I had the fish and chips (for the primary reason that I'm visiting London and had to, otherwise I don't care for fish and chips) and it was wonderful! Fish was cooked perfectly and flaky inside. Outside was coated nicely and not over fried but still crunchy.
C. R.
Lovely meal, nice and fresh but long wait due to issues in the kitchen. Portion size of the chips could be increased. Would recommend removing some of the unused sofas as we saw two parties leave due to insufficient table space. Very friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help. Would return.
C. P.
A great pub, an okay hostel. I stayed here for four days and had a good time. I really liked all of the pub staff and the food was delicious. As for the hostel, the rooms were without locker storage and the bathrooms were tiny and there were very few.
A. G.
The staff is the best thing here, super nice and polite. The breakfast was very good and the fruit is fresh :) they offer free printing for guests. The beds are awful, if someone sneeze will move all the beds, my room was next to the street and NOBODY in my room had a good rest :/. This is a bar/hostal so you will never a moment of just piece and quiet. I will not recommend this if you want to rest.
V. D.
Nice pub, but nothing special that would distinguish it from most pubs in London. While I didn't order food myself, three from my group ordered a burger and they seemed to enjoy it. In terms of pricing, I'd call it average. The place was quite crowded on a Saturday night.
T. R.
Great atmosphere. The theatre upstairs is really nice space , we didn't have time to try the food but the kitchen looked clean and the other customers seemed to be enjoying it. I would definitely visit again.
M. B.
This was a cool hostel. The staffers on Monday we're great, Tuesday's we're a bit cold. Some if the info on the website about the pub is out of date, which was a bit annoying but harmless. Staff was kind enough to hold on to my luggage after check out so I could explore unhindered. Sharing one bathroom with so many people is rough. Make sure you don't wait until the last second. The showers are VERY slippery. H&S should put a shower mat or some sort of grip because how it is now is super dangerous, I almost fell multiple times and hit the wall pretty hard. Other than that the stay was enjoyable. The location is great for most of London's top attractions.
G. D.
Great food and beer. Wonderful codfish (never thought I would say that) in fish and chips that I complemented cook about. Others enjoyed fish taco and burger. Friendly staff and homey feeling. 15 minute walk from Big Ben
M. C.
lovely staff members who drop everything to help you out when necessary. food was tasty and the overnight guest discount was well-used and appreciated. good variety of beds/rooms at different price points. cleanliness is okay; showers stalls could do with ventilation and more regular washing to keep mold at bay. overall a nice place to spend your time in London if you're the practical type.
e. n.
Brilliant place to have lunch after seeing Big Ben or Westminster Abbey. I shared one of the Sunday roast options with my sister - it was enormous! I loved everything on the plate though; it tastes like a Sunday dinner with family. The gravy and Yorkshire pudding in particular were awesome. Underrated place!
l. g.
I have was here to see a show that was in a room upstairs. I like a lot how the pubs looks ..kind of old time but also not too much? I ate just the fries and were really nice, home made skin on! The prices didn't seem to be too expensive for the area.. I plan to go again soon and check it better, but on the few hours I was there it seemed a really nice place!
B.
So I only had one drink in here therefore read this in the context of that. Atmospheric old style pub. Quite dark as you would expect of such. Average drink prices for London. The furniture is very tired and worn out. Good for atmospheres but not comfy. Time for a refurbishment of the seating.
A. L.
Friendly staff with a real cosy vibe bar seemed slightly worn around the edges but pleasent to sit in. Beef burger was absolutely perfect. Wanted cake for dessert but unfortunately the lady serving us was unaware it was out of stock (I wait tables myself it happens) so had sticky toffee pudding which was steaming hot and delicious. Nice selection of drinks nice to see kraken my favourite rum on offer.
All in all great visit.
P. K.
A lovely pub with friendly staff, good selection of beers and ales and food at very reasonable prices!
Best of all is the atmosphere on match days, it's electric and nowhere better to watch the game (unless you're at the stadium obviously)!
D. S.
Went for Christmas work lunch and a couple of people hadn't pre-ordered, but they were easily accommodated.
M. W.
Best hostel for that price in London!
Very friendly staff, great service, free breakfast in the morning and tea whenever you feel like it, a very good location to explore the city on foot and a tube station a few minutes away. The wifi needs some upgrading but in total the best deal one can hope for.
The pub downstairs is also very good, in the nights there are lots of people there and the atmosphere is great.
D. L.
This place was a very pleasant surprise. I was amazed at the quality of the hostel considering the very affordable rates they charge. I paid 17 pounds, and it was right in the heart of the city (very close to the Waterloo and Lambeth North stations). Many tourist locations like Westminster, Picadilly Circus, and Covent Garden are within walking distance. This is a phenomenal value for a hostel. They even offer a free breakfast! I highly recommend this place to any budget-minded traveler (considering hotel rooms in London start at around 150 pounds...ugh)

Pretty decent stay. Nice place, great location, friendly people, good pricing. My biggest problem though, the beds were absolutely horrible. The mattress were so flat and used that you could feel the frame of the bed and in particular the huge pole right through the middle of it. Had to move al the way up my bed to sleep comfortably. Honestly the worst hostel bed I have ever slept in!
C.
Had an amazing stay at the hostel. They don't have a kitchen however you can go down the road to a different hostel and use there's so that's nice. Drinks are good so is the food!
H. E.
Our family of four dropped by for a quick bite for dinner and this was perfect. After a day of sightseeing, we were too lazy to head back out from our hotel, the park plaza across the street. Small menu but all the appetizers were delicious.
G. F.
Good atmosphere at 6pm on a Thursday. Good service and proper ales on pump. While the reserved tables were vacant for a long time, there was no problem from the staff about using them in the meantime which I think is the right call. Decent pub this.
M. E.
It was nice and close to our AirBnB so we stopped in for dinner. I loved the decor - kind of glam Sherlock Holmes; hipster-friendly for sure. Younger crowd. We felt pretty clueless throughout though. Walked in to no acknowledgement so we sat ourselves. Then after a bit of waiting, it turned out we were supposed to order food up at the bar. The food was okay - had fish & chips and halloumi burger. Paid at the bar as well. Overall, it was average. More direction would've been helpful.
V. F.
+Good value for money. Staff was nice. Close to main train station, close to center and points of interest
-The place could do with a refurbishment, as I think its getting a bit mouldy in the shower, the toilets are really small and the beds dont have privacy curtains.
Will go back in case I need a quick stay somwhere
J. O.
Perfect location and fair price for London. The only problem is that they don't have a kitchen so guests are allowed to use the kitchen from another hostel located 200m away. Great breakfast as well really!
J. C.
First time visiting this pub and went for a Sunday roast as it had been recommended. In turn i recommend this place too.
The Sunday roast portions are very generous and very nice.
I had the Roast beef which was perfect and all the accompanying veg a yorkies were great. For £14-16 this was a excellent value.
Good selection of booze and lagers to go.
Good selection of seating areas and booths to choose from.
I will definitely visit here again next time i pass through Waterloo.
Only 5 mins walk from Platform 1 exit.
oh, free Wifi and USB charge points too were nice to see
A. Y.
This pub goes to prove looks can be deceiving. We ummed and arred about going in as it doesn't look that inviting. The beer was good with a good selection. Food was good, although the belly pork had bagged scratchings with it and not much proper crackling. Would gave got five stars if it was proper crackling.
S. F. S. L.
My all over experience with this Hostel was good. The staff was great and always in a good mood and helpful. Lovely people, needed to say that. The breakfast was good, there was quite a lot to choose. Only thing i did not like was the beds. The matress was thin, which was not such a problem, but the bed was quite sagged and i could see some spots on the matress and blanket trough the sheets. This is one of the reasons i would consider not coming back to this hostel next time i'll visit London. The location was really great tho, just a 10 minute walk to the London Eye and busstop in front of the door, underground just at the corner. Supermarket was also in front of the door. All by all i did enjoy my stay at the Horse and Stables.

The Horse and Stables is a cheerful and great value place to meet for drinks and food. The staff are super friendly. The menu is a good mix of pub classics from burgers, pies and fish and chips, to more interesting dishes like ribs, wings and salads. The function room upstairs has a big capacity of about 80 for drinks and great for parties. Located right by Lambeth North tube station and 5 minutes walk from Waterloo. Highly recommended.
W. W.
Great hotel, close to a lot of places, including Waterloo station.
Amazing food and top level service.
Very dog friendly and good place to cross socialise with friends and man's best friend.
K. O.
We loved their beer choices, cheese and chips, and chicken mixed sampler. Also had a great local vibe. And for you PoGo players there's a stop there. Spend some time just hanging out.
J. H.
Great staff, brilliant location. You get what you pay for, and more. Staff is by far the best feature of the place. 👍
M. L.
Stayed here for a night. Never stayed in a hostel before. Staff where great, friendly, helpful. Rooms where clean. Great location. Food was really nice. A bar downstairs and the rooms upstairs. Met some of the locals. Had a great time.
R. K.
Fish and chips of a lifetime. Wide selection of draught beer. Cozy athmosphere.
M.
Location and staff were great
· Beds were not comfy at all. You could feel the bed irons on your back due to matress.
There was chiller next to our room. It worked 24 hours and made lots of noises
N. T.
Appears to be very new and is very clean. The Deluxe Room for 4 has a mobile phone with unlimited domestic calls and 4G, amazing for tourists. There were some issues with the towels (not only us) and their presence in the room upon arrival, but this is a staffing and service issue that might be ironed out in the future.
S. J.
Not only are the prices reasonable, they also offer free bag storage, free prints, free bath towels and discounts in the attached bar (which is also the office). Very very friendly manager and the rooms are code locked so there isn't any hassle of carrying around key cards.
Clean, neat and well maintained
M. S.
I'm from Austria and it was my first time to get to London. Pups I only seen in movies, so I was excited to get in this pup. It looked like one of this in movies, rustic, low light, good music, good drinks, good food and very friendly Barkeeper. I love this brickwal with the lightfeature. This was a very atmospheric and beautiful experience for me. If I go to London next time, I will definitely come here to enjoy. Keep it up guys.
K. G.
Super friendly people, they help you out with what you need. Comfortable rooms/beds cool bar
F. G.
the beds are terrible, everything else very good! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Would go again
S. S.
Great experience, stayed here just for a night, and team helped me out after I had lost my wallet.
Good pub at basement adds to charm.
Though being based on road, you might have s trouble if you ain't a morning person
C. T.
The service was very quick. We ordered and got our food within 10 to 15 minutes. The beer selection felt a bit lacking, but atmosphere and music was nice. The staff was nice if a bit stiff.
K. B.
This was an amazing pub/bar. Great selection of beers, fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Got to speak with the owner, who is very kind. I highly recommend stopping here for a drink or two!
L. F.
The hostel is good located near an underground. But the rooms and the bathroom/toilets are not that big and clean. Although, the price is really good for a hostel in London. I stayed twice and I decide recommend.
f.
Very decent place to stay, short walk to the london eye and big ben. My mattress felt very worn in, and pillow was flat. There was about 12 beds in one room, the hostellers were quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
J. D.
The location is perfect, just 50 m away from Lambeth Nord underground. Paper walls, though, so party animals can be heard in 3:30 AM like you're with them. Sweet breakfast only.
K. H.
Just behind Waterloo station, great location for public transport and lots of amenities close by also within walking distance of many of London's iconic attractions. The staff were really nice and friendly and the place had a great atmosphere, traditional English type pub.

Top Notch Service in an Affordable Rate:
I spent my birthday in this lovely hostel and I just wanted everyone to see that this is one of the best hostels in the heart of London!
GENERAL: The place gives a late-1800 Britain vibe... Very old-school (not in a negative way huh) The place is kept very clean but there are some parts of the facility needs repairing, upgrading or replastering... (I did saw a hole on a pathway from the door leading outside) But overall the place is very comfortable...
PUB: Same ol' British Pub! They have a huge selection of lagers, beers and wines (not sure about spirits) but they lack non-alcoholic beverage options hopefully they can offer these too... But in fairness they offer cold water, orange juice and cucumber-mint water (tea, coffee and chocolate drink for hostel stayers)... Free breakfast for hostel stayers and 15% discount in all of their menus... Very artistically made tables and chairs too
BEDS: The mattress are comfy, the duvet is warm and cozy, just needed a fluffier pillow... I was initially placed on the top bunk bed and it gave me nausea because the bed is a bit tad wobbly... I did asked the staff if i could transfer into any vacant lower bunk bed and they immediately accomodated my request (+++++) Another thing, in the room that I stayed there is a shortage of electrical outlet and every one inside is struggling to have their gadgets charged... I only saw one wall mounted outlet and an extrension... Hopefully they can sort this one out...
FOOD: One phrase - Mouth-watering... I ordered the 28-day Aged Sirloin Steak flame gilled to medium rare with Chips, Baked Vine Tomatoes and Mushroom with Peppercorn Sauce and Homemade Chicken Nuggets on their signature Bourbon Glaze... Both are tasty and very filling... I was hoping though next time add some more peppercorn sauce and bourbon glaze 😋😋😋😋😋
STAFF: One word - approachable... They are very gracious and accomodating... They dont hesitate to answer your queries and they will accomodate your request as much as they can and allowed to, all of them are GOOD LOOKING, presentable and easy to talk to...
SUGGESTION: Open kitchen for those who are staying in the hostel.
Thanks for giving me a wonderful stay!
V. K.
A very very nice bar with a function room that can be hired out. A good selection of beer served on tap as well as the usual bottled selections.
It is convieniently located just 5-10 min walk from Waterloo (2min from Lambeth North tube station but at times of writing, the station is closed)
S. K.
The food was excellent. Really tasty burger, good quality chips, a pie actually fully filled with filling. Nice venue upstairs.
L. L.
A cosy, friendly pub with decent beer, food and decor. Staff are friendly and having a decanter of chilled water with mint and cucumber and some glasses up at the bar is a great touch.
C. A.
Decent place for an evening drink, and even on a Friday it's usually possible to find some space to stand. There's a range of beers and ales on draft. Well located for Waterloo station. Occasionally, live acts play here.
J. W.
The chef cooked us and our kids food mid day, even though the kitchen was closed, what a save for us with 4 hungry children under 6. Food was hot, beer was cold, staff was friendly, what else could you ask for? I will return next time I'm in the area!
H. I.
We run events in the function room upstairs and it is a great venue, very well kitted out for comedy shows, and really helpful friendly staff.
T. B.
An old fashioned pub with overly priced hot food and hit or miss bar staff. On our visit they were training a new member of staff but the trainer was rolling his eyes and making sarcastic comments behind his back. Poor show.
j. j.
We were looking for a place to get dinner and found this place next to our hotel, we tried the fish and chips and it was very tasty.
Staff is very friendly and environment is nice.
D. H.
Great atmosphere and delicious real food!
t. f.
Stopped after a visit to imperial war museum(5 mins walk). Lovely sandwiches, great beer and some quality music. Definitely recommend this pub if you are in the area.
M. M.
You've gotta love a place that has repurposed kegs into urinals!
E. A. B.
Amazing burger, very cute barman
P. R.
Very conveniently located near big Ben, London eye, and Westminster Abbey. It is a short ride in tbe london underground to get to other popular landmarks. The staff is very nice, and no check-in policy makes the hostel accommodating. The showers are superb, and very clean. I will stay again when I travel.
O. W.
Great pub amazingly friendly staff and good food stayed here while working in London. Amazing value considering the location would definitely recommend and have stayed a few times.
L. J.
Very nice vegetarian burgers - both the haloumi and the goat cheese one is great and the portions are a great size. Cheap beer and nice atmosphere as well.
L. B.
This is a lively pub with food and a good atmosphere, nice wines and good ale! Plenty of events in the upstairs function room too, plus I believe it has rooms for sleep.
R. R.
Very decent pub. Good choice of ales. The setting is nice and it's not too noisy. I haven't tastes the food but it looks very apetizing.
l. k.
Located very near big Ben and the London eye. Within a 5 my invite walk. Great price, includes WiFi and complimentary breakfast in the morning. Rooms are adequately sized and beds are quite comfortable.
J. C.
The Horse & Stables is a local gem. Comfy leather sofas, decent playlists, happy hour 17:00 - 19:00, laid back staff and decent food. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and it's next door to the Lambeth North tube station for easy access to Waterloo. Go check it out!
E. B.
Not a bad pub, meals served are quite small in comparison to other places and the triple cooked chips are strange but good for a quick bite.
E. B.
Great pub, very British for us Yanks. If it's happy hour, don't expect great service, but the staff does try to do their best when it's busy.
J. B.
Visited for a night cap on our last night in London from the US. Got to chat with the proprietor for a bit, and met his dog (who is ALWAYS with him at the bar). Cozy, friendly neighborhood feel, just far enough from the touristy craziness across the bridge. Hope to visit again in the future.
R. S.
Service and atmosphere were great. Great tunes. Food was good but not great. Beer selection was very good with some out of the ordinary selections. Overall a good choice.
L. W.
'Happy Hour' should be renamed 'Okay Hour'. It's very, very hot in the summer because there's no air-conditioning. Other than that the place is great and bar staff lovely.
T. R.
Went to see the comedy night this week and really pleased I did. Great acts. Had drinks before going upstairs. Really friendly staff. Top venue and friends enjoyed the food.
N. K.
Great location. Big rooms but saggy mattresses and only one toilet for 3 rooms!
T. W.
Clean and well maintained. Beds fairly comfortable. Breakfast is fairly basic, but free. WiFi somewhat spotty at times. Good food, good drinks, good location.
J. A.
Always a nice atmosphere and pleasant staff with a good selection of beers on tap. Recently re-fitted kitchen served excellent and timely food.
M. P.
Absolutely amazing food. Great atmosphere. Really good music as well. 5 stars for food. The risotto is to die for. The best risotto ever.
J. C.
We were positively surprised by this pub. Homemade burgers with class. Nice staff and we had a pleasant talk with the Swedish barmaid.
T. S. C. C.
Perfect location, great food, excellent beer!!! Staff is awesome and always happy to help ;) friendly prices. Bedrooms and bathrooms not so clean.
F. V.
This place is awesome. Every problem i had when i was in london they fixed it and even got me a map with all the best places for me to record clips for my video. Im a filmmaker and that help me to not lose time searching for the best places.
I will go there again for sure.
J. M.
Comfy bed but hot and humid. Place smelt. Strange and all common areas were just a bar that was open to public. Loud music but 1am. 1 bathroom for 12 people
ר. א.
Great guesthouse!! Ok rooms and really good breakfast! It is also a very nice bar with friendly bartender and just an overall good vibe.
L. E.
Fabulous Sunday roast and steak and ale. Most importantly, thr Eaton Mess was to DIE for. Sarah was a wonderful waitress too!
B. S.
Quiet spot for a drink. Staff very friendly.
П. И.
Nice English pub, good music, excellent beer!
L. R.
This place ticks all the pub-boxes. The food is good by any standard - excellent for a pub! Good atmosphere, good staff, cozy. Great place!
J. K.
Great place to stay in London. It is placed near to the city center and the metro. Delicious breakfast. Helpful, smiling stuff. Best choice.
S.
Food is great every time. Friendly staff. Would be great to have a selection craft beer on tap instead of just bottles.
P. W.
Good pub and excellent pub grub.Dont look at the outside just get in and speak to the friendly staff vibrant place to be ! Good range of beers and pub grub at a good price for London.
U. H.
Friendly staff, rooms are ok for London and price, bathrooms are tiny but clean enough. It is a pub with hostel upstairs.
D. M.
Go there for a gaming club on Wednesday in the function room. Always have great selection of drinks and staff are always friendly. Very nice homely feel
J. R.
It's a Hostel in a pub. So I loved it. The hostel is good, the pub too. The prices are fair. It's extremely well located, five minutes walk from London eye and Big Ben.
J. A.
Great location and super friendly staff! The large room on the top floor doesn't lock properly, but an overall safe feeling on the property! Will definitely use again!
G. D.
Good food. Friendly staff. Good beer. Just a super nice English pub. And they have wifi.
C. S.
This pub is just around the corner from Waterloo station, which is one reason why it's rather popular. The service is always prompt, even when the bar is busy.
F. L.
Loved the atmosphere. The bartenders were polite. The food was great too.
M. H.
Food and service were both really good. Nice if you just want some good pub grub down you, but nothing spectacular.
F. G.
The place is so good. The people are friendly and have always a smile in the face. I think it could have a kitchen to make everyone their own food.
M. P.
Very good with location. Rooms are neat even though beds were very uncomfortable. Showering wasn't easy but the people were nice. Good atmosphere.
F. W.
Massive room for hire, wonderful for playing music in. Food always great after a hard evening's ukeing. Love this place.
A. E.
Not too busy and a nice vibe on a weekday night. Happy hour prices are decent for central London and a good selection on the deal.
S. C.
Very spacious. Good selection of drinks and available due privates hire. Find the staff friendly and approachable
L. d. L.

Great pub. Cool music. Tasty food. This place is great to chill out in no matter what season
G. L.
Nice beer, friendly efficient service, good food. A useful pub, in a central location that should be thronging, but sadly is grim and needs some attention from the council / TfL.
W. Y.
Pretty decent little pub. Phone signal dies inside but at least they have free WiFi to compensate. Doesn’t take AMEX.
J. M.
They have good beers, typical pub food and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
A. J.
Nice staff, very good breakfast. Rooms are clean and quiet, what is more it is near Big Ben ;) I hope i come back hire

T. J.
Nice pub with good food. Can be a bit crowded at times, but nice place for some after-work drinks
J. C. M.
Really nice experience! Love the beer tasted. Good service from the bar. Love it!

Decent drinks at an ok price for close to Waterloo, Parliament and Lambeth North. Quiet enough when I was there to make it possible to socialise.
L. S.
I saw a show in the upstairs room. The place was fine. The drinks weren't as expensive as I expected. Overall it was pretty good.

Good busy atmosphere if a little haphazard with the food orders on the day we were there - we did get the right food and it was a good basic pub chicken burger.
I. F.
Well located, typical London prices, food and service is good. The bathroom facilities are terrible, however.
B. L.
The pub is nice, the staff there is very friendly. I would also recommend the hostel which I found very decent.
