Reviews of The Horseshoe Inn
M. N.
I've been to this pub twice now. Although it's tucked in a side road very close to London Bridge train station... its quite a lovely place. There's many table seating area at the front on the Street area. And interior has 3 major seating areas ..plenty of space. Our friends hire the function room upstairs that leads to balcony space too. That's quite nice and has a view of The Shard. Staff have been always nice and friendly. They sell their own honey too.
N. G.
A bit of the beaten track, late Victorian independent pub with a lot of seating outside. It is worth popping in for a drink and a nibble. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the food. My Stilton, spinach and mushroom pie in particular wasn't tasty. The pastry was soggy and doughy and the filling too thick with hardly any spinach in it. At £16 and served with some mash and garden peas and lukewarm gravy it didntfeel like good value at all. My companion's beef burger was OK but a tiny colseaw salad didn't look appealing. We liked our onion rings that we shared (though some may find them a bit too greasy) I would rate the food 3 stars but it is a nicely located place, it was relaxed and friendly I like supporting independent pubs. Perhaps the chef didn't have a good day. ;)
M.
Lots of outside seating, lovely atmosphere, although the view is limited. We failed miserably as we used the Group Tab to order our food. As we ordered individually, the food and beers did not come altogether. Besides that, kudos for the owner of the pub to professionally get a drunk dude of the terrace.

A hidden gem off the bitten path!
Cute and cosy little pub with friendly staff and a very happy resident cat. They have a great selection of ciders, beers and ales. Decent food, including some vegetarian options.
Customers can also play darts and watch sports here. Lively atmosphere. Seating spaces indoors and outdoors.
T. W.
Good pub. Little pricey. Food looked good but I didn't actually have it.
D. R.
Great pub, gonna miss it when we move office. Tucked away from London Bridge. Loads of space inside and out. Good selection of beers on tap. Accessibility in terms of the bar, but no access to the toilets. Only gripe is they charge when you pay with a debit or credit card. This sort of charge needs to go to the bank, not to the user.
K. L.
Booked for a works do. We were placed on the terrace. Toilets were on the ground floor, which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking. Toilets were clean, just need modernising.
Lots of space on the terrace. Had a large canopy in case of too much sun or rain.
Drinks and food is very expensive!
Customer service was good.
I would book again, but would think twice due to cost of drinks and food
D. H.
This is a wonderful pub tucked away behind Guys Hospital, unless you know about it, you'll never stumble across it by chance. Breakspears beer is unusual in London, but it kept really well here, but it was the reasonably priced food that impressed us, the sausage and mash was wonderful and where else can you get a homemade (not packet) fish finger sandwich? The building is historic and the staff friendly and helpful. I just wish it were my local.
R. H.
Excellent range of beer and a lot of seating, both indoors and out.
S. M.
A nice pub with all the standards. Food is high quality and well done.
R. S.
Went here for a catch up drink with friends this week and was really impressed. They have a nice outdoor seating area with covered so lots of room. Had some bar snacks and was impressed with quality, quantity and presentation. Very tasty.
J. K.
Only stopped in for a pint after strolling around the London Bridge and Borough Market. Happened upon the quaint pub tucked away. Staff was friendly and they had a good selection of beer and cider
H. M. d. S.
Very nice pub with both inside and outside seating (outside heaters for the cold) spent a very enjoyable evening there
A. Z.
Great outdoors sitting area appropriate for any weather as there are heaters and cover for most of the tables. However, what made this pub our favourite during the pandemic is the exceptional service. Regardless how busy they are one always gets prompt response to booking requests, friendly and welcoming security and bar staff and swift service. And of this is not enough, it's so close to London Bridge station!
S. M.
Got a nice seating area , the drinks are decent price not to dear , I would recommend and the staff are friendly
k. l.
Gene Hunt groupie! Also nice pub
P. C.
Nice pub, with big selection of drink, beers and liquors. Nice thing about this pub is that, it's hide from all that croud of London Bridge Station. If someone like that kind of places where You an hide a little bit from whole word, this is that place. You can also get nice food here, for quick lunch and early evening snack. If someone like Freedom Four, You can get that beer here.
K. C.
Spacious pub with garden. Decent pub grub. Very busy on a Friday night.
E. T.
Great pub hidden down a side street in London Bridge, so close to the station which is great. Sat outside in the beer garden which was pleasant, good place to meet with friends.
J.
Kind staff and great service, and the food was absolutely amazing - best BLT I've ever had!
R. A. G.
Friendly and fun!
The Horseshoe Inn is barely a stone's throw from the ever-busy London Bridge station yet this pub manages to maintain a sense of seclusion tucked away behind newbuilds and tower buildings.
We found plenty of outdoor seating and a very warm welcome.
Couldn't recommend more highly, really.
J. M.
Proper old man's pub. But it has a sprawling beer garden that you just wouldn't know was there from the street. And best of all, it's tucked down a side street in Bermondsey so it's usually quiet. If you're okay with a bland beer selection this is a great spot. They shown the footy too.
N. W.
Beautiful pub, but the Sunday roast had very dry meat.
B. C.
Very nice and friendly pub. Love that it's not on a main road.
A. T.
Has reacted incredibly well to the pandemic. One of the first pubs with an app, table service is pretty prompt, and firm but pragmatic enforcement of the rules has made for a great atmosphere during really tough times. I now feel like a regular at a place where I'd pop in only a couple of times a year before everything changed
M. H.
It's ok.. clearly coming on a Thursday evening even with a booking is Jam packed.. Which means long waits for food and your drinks bc you have to order through its app..(you come to the pub to escape the digital world only to find that you need to be digital to order!!) Food was ok.. not sure bc their chef was maxed out. Perhaps I'll try it again on a less busy day but for now.... What would be a great pub hidden is just another pandemic pub!
N.
Nice place, nice garden. They have successfully made a very larger covered section for a decent capacity during Covid outdoor only rules. Nice selection of beers, even got an orange slice in my Erdinger. I'd go back.
Á. F.
The upstairs balcony area is very chill, good vibes, the staff is really nice, but I just can't get used the close to 7 quid pints...
D. C.
Gentlemens Barristas are here. Need I say more? Dome of the best coffee in London. Amazing sculptures and the adjacent Vinegar Yard has amazing Italian Street food
M. S.
Such a cool spot. The vintage/flea/makers market is do great on the weekend. Worth stopping in here for a snack. The art on display is so interesting- really beautiful. Can get busy!
S. S.
Unique pub hidden away, with a great view of the Shard.
S. R.
Cosy little pub with a decent selection of beers and some tasty food.
N. M.
Great local pub in London Bridge with loads of seating and great selection of beer, ale, cider, spirits and food.
Always great service, even better now with the app and not having to line up.
In winter having the big marquee with heaters is really handy and a great spot to sit. Loads of outdoor space means that with COVID restrictions you can still meet up in a group of 6 comfortably.
D. W.
There's plenty of seating ... well equipped for customers and just tucked away enough so that it's slightly quieter than most but it's central London so it's still heaving Friday night
A. D.
Plenty of seating, both outside and in the two beer gardens. Quick bar service and lovely staff! Only 5 minutes from London Bridge station
A. B.
Great place for a beer. They do a great pint of Kronemburg.
S. W.
Around 6 for a pint, good balcony upstairs
Z. L.
Beer garden with plenty of seats and heaters, perfectly adapted to the pandemic although the app to order did stop working a number of times for an extended period. Food choice was a bit limited, but been told the pizza was pretty good.
M. L.
Lovely atmosphere and team. Bit hectic with only 2 people working when we went so caught them off guard.
C. “. M.
Lovely canal-side pub and food restaurant. I took my music examiner for a meal, served fairly swiftly and graciously
K. A.
Great night out with work colleagues on the terrace. No bar upstairs which is a shame but staff were all very helpful.
N. D.
Great pkace to sit outside. Has a massive garden for the area with wood sculptures. Basic boozer inside and great for afternwork and weekend drinks. Hiddennaway behind Londond Bridge Station down a sidenstreet making it quiet and off the main area of Bourogh Market.
C. W.
Really nice bar.. who needs Vinegar Yard as cheaper drinks here, better atmosphere, no queues.and you can hear their music from their Rooftop bar. Nice staff.
S. B.
The security were also in charge of allocating tables, which I found very cumbersome. It took us ages to be taken to our booked table while they casually helped some local older gentlemen (mates of theirs?) who had just walked in expecting pints and didnt want to use apps. All very 21st century issues, I know. But could do with a bit of slickening up because it's a rammed, central London pub. It would have made sense in a village somewhere.
R. G. B.
Friendly, quick service at the bar, and pickles the cat was awesome.
J. S.
Well laid out, spacious pub with plenty of seating inside and out. Clean and well managed by pleasant, efficient bar team that cope well despite popularity. Didn't try the food but wonderful aromas from the food preparation extremely tempting! Good location only 5 minutes walk from London Bridge Station, The Shard etc. Only drawback is prices - over £5 for a pint of Strongbow is unacceptable, so only scores 3 stars. Good for an occasional visit but not a session pub.
A. R.
Lovely old pub. Good, fast service and outdoor seating.
D. T.
Lovely little(ish) pub tucked away next to Guy's and St Thomas' hospital Good beer and run by someone called Collie. That's special!
p. m.
Great pub. Fabulous staff!
M. W.
Nice pub in the heart of bermondsey with great outdoor seating and a good range of beers 🍻
P. P.
Excellent food for this tucked away local pub. We had the 8 oz steak, pork belly, fish n chips and artichoke salad. Drinks came very quick but need to be ordered and picked up at bar. Good atmosphere, very busy on a Monday!
F. D.
Really nice old pub with lots of room outside and good selection. Fairly pricey but not ridiculous considering the area
D. “. M.
Very good pub, very close to London Bridge station but tucked just out of the way so that it is less busy and a bit more appealing than other pubs in the area.
The drinks aren't too expensive considering this is in Zone 1, and I was impressed with the wide choices of Cider on offer.
Also, keep an eye out for the resident cat. Always adds some character to a pub!
L. M. M.
Love this pub. Tucked away next to London Bridge station. Has a good English pub feel to it. Often come here for lunch during the week and after work drinks. Gets busy but not unbearable. If you hate cats I do not recommend as they have a number of feline friends roaming the pub.
M. R.
Great little pub just hidden out of sight.
Drinks well priced and great selection.
Even though it was busy staff who were friendly and helpful got through the queues quickly.
Toilets not that clean, only reason for drop of star.
Nice outdoor spaces for the summer, and old classic pub charm in the inside.
G. S.
Excellent pub that was very well organised given the current circumstances. Food and drink were excellent.
G. J.
Good pub, but warning for those that care, they no longer seem to use the app for ordering any more.
S. C.
Very busy outdoor tables - on pavement and to the back of the pub. Table service was hectic but keeping up with demand. Pre-booking recommended.
E. F.
Great pub, cool customers and good beer and cider on tap. Quirky and unique interior and feels like a local. Queue for female toilets (only 2) stole quite a bit of socialising time sadly. I shall definitely return but will drink spirits instead of beer (to avoid repeat toilet scenario).
A. B.
Great pub, sat outside, well organised lovely selection of beers and food.
D. S.
Love this pub. It was obviously an old country pub that has somehow survived the developers and is now hidden away off the beaten track. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in, with comfortable old leather chairs. Good garden area/outside seating. Decent, affordable pub grub. Would have given 5 stars but paintwork is unnecessarily tatty especially around the gents. Yet so easily fixable. But don't let that you stop you from going!
a. b.
Nice old time pub hidden away in London Bridge.
When you walk in you notice this pub has anything but changed architecturally. Fantastic original features and a large beer garden with a roof terrace and balcony.
The beers on offer are limited but good overall, to the trendies, this isn't the place for artisan coffee as they have none. Simply put, black or white!
However, they have a splendid range of spirits.
Moderately priced for the area.
M. S.
Good family location and (apparently) dog friendly. Makes the best use of a location surrounded by parking. Last time we went we were not impressed with the counter service. Don't expect to have to explain your order to the person serving you when it's written on the wall behind them! But usually good.
M. A.
This is a nice pub, that you would never guess is so close to London Bridge Station. It's tucked away, but is definitely not small, with a decent amount of outdoor seating in the front and back. It's good for after-work drinks, or meeting with friends. I've been a few times and the staff has always been friendly. The food is solid pub cuisine.
G. R.
Beer selection could be a bit more diverse but the setting more than makes up for this. Out the back are real carvings of bears and a horse with an unfortunate hole. Comfy Chesterfields and a cover outdoor space only enhance the drinking experience. A solid pub and one I will return to.
J. B.
Best summer pub for miles. Large garden, roof terrace and balcony, plus plenty of space out front on the street. Spacious indoors, too. Bar staff are friendly and in good supply. Decent range of beers, plus excellent cocktails.
S. G.
Delicious food (some of the best fish&chips&mushy peas in London) and decent beer, but prices are a bit high on drinks, and they'll close the kitchen hours early if it's not busy, even on a Saturday night. Service could be better as well. There's ample seating though; even with large groups, I've always been able to get a table. Especially good for outdoor seating in warmer weather.
S. W. M.
Nice little pub tucked away to the side of London Bridge station. Good selection of drinks and a reasonable price for the area. The same goes for the food, especially the pizza which goes down well with the drink. The staff are friendly, and always find there are enough on call when it's busy so you don't have to wait too long to be served. The pub has a lot of room, in the main bar, the upstairs room, side dining room, beer garden and rooftop terrace makes it a pub for all seasons. Can get busy on weekends, but it is possible to book a table if done early enough. Highly recommended, though I should probably have kept it a secret.
J. N.
We've come across this pub by accident ( it's well hidden behind the trees). Decided to stay for a drink but looking at others' food - we tried the food too ;)
We had a pork belly & spicy pizza, both absolutely delicious, puddings are a bit disappointing, but only because there were only two to choose from ( so I didn't have any)
Being around visiting the area, I can say it was cheap too!
it's real traditional pub ( not many left in London)
Staff were lovely too, can't fault it at all, oh and the two cute pub cats sleeping on the arm chairs ;););)
H. R.
Fantastic half pint had with my boss last night whilst waiting for a train. Quick, friendly service, bit of a queue for the bogs but just shows was busy and the atmosphere was cracking. I like this pub.
D. G. M.
A lovely pub with great food and wonderful staff, that is not too far off the beaten track.
Decked out with vintage memorabilia, while still managing to keep its charm as a traditional pub, this is a wonderful place.
It is worth making reservations, add it does get busy.
Also, for fans of trivia, this is the pub that 'Gene Hunt' frequented in the hit BBC TV series 'Ashes to Ashes'.
D. P.
I have passed this pub so many times, as it is one you constantly stumble on when you are in the area, so finally went in for a pint.
The pub is very spacious, and open, they have an upstairs I think, a few rooms, a beer garden and also a terrace, so unless you are really unlucky you should get a seat.
The price is very much right for the area I guess, two pints came to £9.
They had a few functions on with food at the time, and seemed all nice and not microwave crap, but didn't have any so can’t really tell.
I’d probably go in the area and see about other prices before coming here if I’m being honest, but it isn't all that bad.
A. J.
Great pub with plenty of seating and a great outdoor terrace.
Also two resident cats- what's not to love!
C. M. M.
Quite busy but nice. It has Shard discount!
I. K.
We had a few beers there - perfectly fine. A bit on the expensive side - a couple of pints of Hop House and two small bags of crisps - 15 pounds. Apart from that, the place is lovely 😊
S. Y.
Friendly welcome as we walked in. Nice comfortable seats.
One of the best Bloody Marys I’ve ever had.
It’s pet friendly and the food was good.
Enjoyed a game of darts.
Nice place to chill out.
d. c.
went to a traditional music session there today and left feeling the life was sucked out of me.
The ability of the musicians was excellent but the session lacked enthusiasm and the freedom of many traditional sessions I have been to and played in before.
Almost twenty musicians playing in a classical style with no lift or feeling. There seemed to be a lovely beer garden to the rear of the building but entry was denied due to the staff telling me I couldn't go in because it was reserved for the musicians.
The pub looked quite charming and on the upside, I was served a lovely new rum which I hadn't tried before called Rebellion.
probably wouldn't make the effort again to venture so far for such a boring session but may one day try the pub food, not on a Sunday!!!
I. H.
Price of drinks is reasonable for London Bridge. Spacious outdoor area and quick service
H. H.
It’s alright for a pint. I had an uninspired margarita pizza. The pizza would pass for 4 stars outside the city but there is just too much completion. The other options might rate higher. Not a bad boozer by any means. Nice building, outdoor seating. Staff a bit slow. Had to ask for some blue roll to wipe down the table as there were wet glass rings all over it when we sat down.
J. C.
Went to an event here, the catered goodness excellent, a little busy as our area was a throughway to the outside area and service was busy but good. The gents was a bizarre experience with all the wall full of shattered holes in the cubicle walls. Not in keeping with the fun traditional character of the rest of the place.
L. C.
Nicely located pub 30 seconds from London Bridge station. Plenty of space inside and a small/medium outside area in the summer. Food could do with some improvement as it feels very standard but a good place for a pint after work.
M. J.
Had our works Christmas do here and it was nice. We had the buffet at £10 per head. It comprised of chicken wings, prawns, pizza, sausage rolls, spring rolls, cheese balls and chips etc it was definitely good value for money.
My only complaint was that the loo floor needed some attention.
M. C.
Lovely pub at the heat of London Bridge station. Staff are friendly and a great place to have a beer or wine. Food not like in picture but if social8sing is your thing it's perfect.
P. s.
Great service in a cosy traditional pub
D. A.
Nice to sit outside on a mild December evening. Patio heaters provided. Food was great although service was weird with starters and mains bought together. I took the main back to the bar and explained I only had one mouth and the manageress came to apologise. My pork belly was great despite the service issues.
Nicely off the beaten track.
A. D.
The horseshoe is a good pub tucked away close to London Bridge. I've been here a few times and it's not as packed as vinegar yard round the corner. Good amount of seating space outside the front and around the back.
J. P.
Nice comfy pub, very traditional. Plenty of choice of beers. Simple but tasty food. Some really nice seating, some of it a little quirky. You'll enjoy lunch and a beer here.
J. V.
Great pub. Hidden away very close to London Bridge. Good food too.
Bar staff not that friendly. The room where we were drinking had rain water pouring through the ceiling.
M. C.
All looking a bit tired now only went incase Talk Radios Mike Graham was in there legend of a man.
J. R.
A nice and quiet place just off London Bridge Station and Guys hospital. Huge back garden with at least as many seats as inside. Good selection of beer. Good food but a bit pricey. Nice ambiance
V. C.
The cabun chicken althpugh not spicy was OK, the fries were well done and the presentation of the food was nice. The inside area looked quite coza and nice, toilets were clean. The hostess at the front didnt acknowledge anyone though and hardly spoke at all.
Garden area was nice but extremely dirty and weathered.
The burger was overcooked and didnt really taste like anything at all.
Id still go back though, next time im only sitting inside and will try the BLT
J. M.
Decent pub serving a daily limited selection of beers, but enough to have a good night. They have a little garden which can be fun in the summer, just don't expect any views but the sky.
E. P.
Not one but two pub cats! We got chips and onion rings they were fresh and so so good. Nice atmosphere and in a slightly tucked away street, very cosy vibe.
H. I.
Good beer and food. Lots of different areas to find a seat. Nice little function room upstairs. Lovely beer garden. Perfect pub.
B. M.
Good selection of beers and drinks. Good atmosphere. A bit of a tardis: a lot bigger than it looks from the front. Plenty of seating out back. Great place for catching up with colleagues I.e. no loud music drowning conversation. Service is a bit slow at busy times
c. s.
Beauiful looking old pub they have lots of outside tables with heaters!!!! Massive win while we are all sat outside at the minute.
S. P.
Fabulous London Pub, friendly staff and good selection of beverages. Great outside seating area also
N. K.
Historic fun spot. Doesn't feel like you're in the centre of London. Perfect for a sunny day
M. B.
The garden is really amazing, even during winter they have a marquee with heaters that allows you to stay dry and warm. You can also rent the room upstairs with balcony for private parties. It's been a great idea for afterwork bants more than once
B. K.
Lovely place with lovely vibes. Great selection of drinks and food. Lovely staff.
P. B.
Reasonable, apparently home cooked food. Pleasant, busy but not heaving (midweek) traditional hostelry with darts board, and with cat on stairs just spitting distance from London Bridge.
T. C.
Spacious pub with pleasant outdoor space. Decent pizza and beer selection. Denied 5 stars as beer is sometimes not well kept.
D. D.
A nice pub to have a social meeting in. Good beer and generally good food. Choice of food was a bit restricted though. Definitely worth a visit :)
S. M.
Went in for drinks on a Friday night and the space is very small. Staff are nice and drinks aren't badly priced. But always had to wait a long time to get a drink and the selection of alcohols is a bit limited.
K. s.
The place is amazing! Wifi, dog friendly, good food, good prices, amazing garden, good atmosphere, Very welcoming and comfy ambience. However, I have to criticize the bar staff unfortunatelly.. they seemed always(every tiem i have been there..4..5 times) annoyed to be working there.. no smiles.. no chatting with the guests.. overall terrible service.. you can see they are probably on a minimum wage and hate their job.. i hope something gets better for the staff so they can be a little more welcoming (and faster) when serving people... perhaps if the staff had something to motivate them they would do their jobs a little happier.. hope this improves.
D. B.
Good pub friendly atmosphere
D. P.
Awesome. Great time. Great atmosphere. Great service. Mind you, I'm writing this after great service, great beer, great times. And darts! Kevin, if you're reading this, you're the Michael Meyers of London, yeah baby!
E. W.
Lovely, chilled pub with a great range of drinks and food. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit, and as it's so close to the Shard and London Bridge it's really easy to get to.
R. A.
This pub has a resident pub cat! Came for one drink and will come again :-)
M. G.
I can't say much. I enjoyed my pint of IPA, the interior was adorable. The summer and outdoor was better. A good pub in relaxed atmosphere.
J.
Lovely view of the shard and nice atmosphere. Had a reasonably priced rum and cola but the cola tasted sort of watery. All in all, a good pub and reasonable prices considering the area
M. M.
The food was lovely - we had pizzas and chips - it wasn't too loud but it was very crowded, more so than you ought expect during social distancing measures
P. S.
App is awkward to use, e.g. scrolling down a long list to choose a table number rather than typing. Otherwise pretty standard.
N. O.
Nice traditional style pub with good sized outside area
G. H.
Great little London pub. Historic for its appearance in Ashes to Ashes. Often overlooked as it is a little out of the way but we'll worth a visit. Decent food and good beer.
D. W.
It's our work hangout. What's not to love. Great food and nice booze.
A. M.
Lovely place, nice food and pleasant people!
M. H.
Nice pub just out of the way from London Bridge station. Good selection of gin, only concern was the same gin cost differntly on 3 visits within days.
l. m.
great pub but beers prices are far too high
S. C.
Really quick to get a drink. Bar staff and owner are friendly. Huge outdoor area. Great vibes.
I. B.
A bit of a hidden gem in South London! Traditional pub with small outdoor seating areas. Fast service and ice cold beers. What more to ask for?!
S. A.
Very nice vary frandley good Scarva I will go back again thank you suggie
R. N.
Great pub with good food. Aga was very helpful and took a good care of us. They have a room for private event. I recommend this pub 100%!
D. S.
Friendly pub however it is a bit expensive.
J. B.
Great for a sit-down, with a nice range of beers. Feels very hidden away despite its large size, and is never too busy that it doesn't feel intimidating to head there at the end of the week.
D. T.
Arrived slightly early but staff were friendly and happy to serve us.
Nice traditional pub.
M. T.
It's tucked away, you can usually get a seat and the music isn't too loud from 18:00 - 20:00. Cloudy apple cider is on tap and delightful.
J. B.
Great venue just a bit to crowded after 6.00pm and difficult to chat. Most tables were reserved in advance from 6.30pm. Beer prices seemed high compared to outer London.
J. B.
Nice pub, good staff and outdoor seating, second visit and will return...
J. L.
Large pub, good for groups and bustling in after work hours. Great indoor, atrium and garden seating areas with umbrellas and heat lamps to extend revelry when it gets chilly or damp.
N. M.
Nice pub, dissapointing that no music at all
G. W.
Formerly a go-to late -night sanctuary for dipsos. Now: a sanctuary for dipsos. Plus cą change.
G. K.
Very nice pub, truly genuine and how can I not like it when Guiness is available ^^
Moreover, there are lots of places and comfortable couch in which you don't want to move once seated

Really good pub food (even though they are still only advertising the Christmas menu on their site. Go for the regular menu rather than the pizzas though. Limited beer selection as I'm guessing it's brewery owned. Great that they would reserve a table for us on a Friday night in London Bridge. Nice staff, great decor, good garden. Not sure what's up with the ClearChannel advertising screen on the wall though inside the pub!? Ruins the rustic charm somewhat. Apart from that a hidden gem.
F. U.
One of the best pubs around. Nice beergarden to stay outside.
c.
Great pub with good selection of draught beers and cider. Staff could be friendlier but other then that, best pub around London Bridge.
S. L.
Gorgeous pub, excellent beer garden. Have had a private party here, absolutely wonderful venue.
L. W.
Little bit grotty and atmosphereless inside. There early ev so may have improved later. Decent outside seating area away from traffic so could be better in good weather.

Great pub. Friendly, warm and inviting. Well priced.... And resident kitties who are enormous and gorgeous! (worth it just for the cat cuddles!)
A. F.
Listening to the Hogeyemen for 3hrs of shantying was sufficient justification to pay the premium price for a pt. of cider. 😉 Looking forward to returning soon and sampling the menu.
p. c.
