Reviews of The Hung Drawn & Quartered, EC3
M. M.
Lovely small pub close to tower bridge. Wide range of beers, friendly crew.
Tip: Honey Dew lager, my better half loved it. I stayed with the black G.
R. J.
The wife's pie was lovely.
My burger was very nice but no salad came with it hence only 3 stars
P. C.
Good pub experience next to Tower of London. Not the cheapest, but worth trying.
U. C.
Fabulous pub a short walk from Tower Hill tube. A nice square plan hall with a good atmosphere. Good friendly service and excellent food which arrived promptly. Very near to Tower of London and Tower Bridge to eat during sightseeing.
S. P.
This is a really nice pub. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The menu is good and the prices are reasonable. I had a really interesting Buttermilk breaded chicken on a waffle. It was a surprisingly nice combination of sweet and savoury. There is also a great selection of beers and ciders on tap. Throughly recommended
J. H.
Great beer, nice food, fast service, friendly staff and fantastic surroundings. A great London pub
L. M.
Delicious food, wonderful service. The pub itself was fun and interesting, too. If you like spicy foods, the English mustard is fabulous. (Photo credit: Jennifer Smith)

Nice traditional pub in The City. Good variety of beers, warm service and fair prices.

Went to Tower of London, thought the name for this pub was Excellent.. it prove to be an excellent too. Food was lovely, hot and very quick. Bar Manager was very friendly and bar staff very honest as left my bag in there, remember when reached London Bridge. Return as soon as I Went back to retrieve it..
R. A.
A great traditional English pub experience. Decent range of beers. And the food was good. Little bit expensive, as you'd expect from being just round the corner from the Tower, but worth it.

September 2020 -
Stopped by for supper, as the name of the pub caught our attention. Extremely happy we went in!
Service was good & very prompt, given it was very busy. We all had fish and chips, and it was quite tasty. The fish portion was large and cooked well.
Various items decorate the restaurant, which show the buildings history.
Definitely pleased with our visit. Highly recommended.
R. W.
Great service, decent sized pies and chips were great. Really high ceiling which it more spacious too
J. S.
Wife took me here for a lovely pub brunch. It delivered in spades. And we left with our heads (and wallets).
C. B.
Great pub, but staff seem to take great delight in closing early (last orders 10pm!!!). They close because it's quiet - it's quiet because it closes early. Which came first - chicken or the egg??
D. J. T. D.
We went to this pub to get out of the rain and rest from all the walking. The staff was very polite and helpful and they let us sit at the table for a while without ordering anything and use the restroom. When we felt like eating and drinking everything was excellent and we enjoyed our stay here.
N. M.
Spent a lot of the day in this boozer as it's my good friends old local from when he worked in the city, great atmosphere and the prices were very fair a lot cheaper than the west end canny pint of Heineken. The pies looked very tasty and would definitely have a go at them when we revisit but ended up next door at the Indian on my mates recommendation would definitely recommend this pub for a good session cheers
I. C.
This is a new bar/restaurant for me. Whilst walking around the London Bridge to the Bank area we came across it. It has a lovely exterior and in a great location for people doing the tourist thing. The building is old but I don't know how old, hopefully the bar will see this and add that. When I visited with friends it was the weekend and it was rather busy. We found it hard to get a table as many were booked but staff helped and eventually we had seats. The food menu is broad and reasonable for the area. Drinks are also available at a reasonable price. Good choice of beers. Would recommend but if eating please book.
V. G.
A really old fashioned pub, only had a drink here but well themed. Pleasant stop on a sunny evening in London
S. C.
On our Christmas trip to London we happened across this pub and made a point to try it especially when we read about their award winning pies. We loved it! Great selection of beers and the pies were amazing! You must try the pie and beer tastings. As a family of 5 Americans traveling through London we found services and seating a challenge. We know and appreciate the differences in service between our countries but service at most places was exceptionally poor. This place was the exception. Try it!
T. N.
Very friendly. Beautiful Bar. Great food. Love the history. A definite must see.
A. -.
Impressive, old pub with very high ceilings & rich in history. We had a couple of drinks & some side dishes which were all great. Staff friendly too. Very well located right new to The Tower of London.
D. F.
Granted I only ate at a few pubs in London, but this was the best. Great atmosphere, good beer, and very delicious food. I share a fish and chips and a piece, both very good. Also they serve huge portions. Great spot.
J. L.
Nice little pub in the city...cleaning as soon as people leave which is nice to see. Nice atmosphere and friendly place if not a tad pricey (£15 for a wine and a beer) but that is London prices I guess
D. G.
Absolutely stunning mince pie! Amazing mash and liquor as it sounds be. Nice staff, service had been quick as well, great place for a couple of pints and lunch when you have an hour off.
I. S.
One of the nicest pubs in the area with tall ceilings & lovely decor. Good selection of drinks, including some local craft ales. Decent food... we had Solt & Pepper Squid, Focaccia with olive oil & balsamic vinegar, and Fishcakes. Reasonably priced. Helpful & attentive staff.
Their toilet facilities are downstairs, so might not be suitable for those with accessibility special needs.
C. B.
Brilliant pub, great service and food.
J. R.
Great service, seated straight away, what we had to eat was delicious 😋
p. s.
The pies and service was fantastic, only popped in by chance, such a warm welcome
D. L.
Tried to avoid the crowds at the Tower area and this place is about 200m away so much quieter. I had the Steak and Ale pie, which was good but a little salty. The fish and chips were good but not great. It's also a little pricy for the quality received but not a bad choice if you are in the area.
M. L.
In front of this pub the traitors usually were executed by hung drawn in front the castle. Additional they quartered the body and exhibit it in the street. Nice lovely big pub, waking distance from tower london in case you want to have a real taste of a british pub. Cornish sider for £5,45 is my recommendation here. The barmaid today was not so friendly just fine the service, but the location deserve the visit.
L. S.
Best Spicy Chicken Madras Pie ever!!!
The Fish Pie and the Lamb Pie, too
Update 2019-012-04
Paul’s chocolate Brownie sundae - wow!!!
Friendly and nice service
For a London visit a must have!
S. K.
What a score! Great little pub w good food. The atmosphere is quaint and the service was spot on. A lovely taste of London with a rich history.
S. D. S.
We had fish and chips and steak pie with sweet potatoes. Fish was good, so was the pie and the sweet potato chips (the pie was amazing actually). The chips were quite disappointing though, most likely frozen and quite tasteless. They have a good selection of beers and the service was quite nice. Overall good, work on those fries guys!
P. M.
Happened upon this place when visiting London on a business trip and absolutely loved it. The meat pies are phenomenal, and the place was very cozy. We loved it so much we came back a 2nd time for our last meal in London before going home.
A. C.
We were vacationing in London and traveling around the city. We saw this place and thought it sounded pretty cool. We got some of there samplers of pies and ciders. Everything was very good. Our waiter was very nice, but the service was mighty slow the afternoon we were there. I do understand there is a difference between US and Europe's "waiting on tables", but we sat around for almost 25 mins before we saw him and got a refill on water and our check. Even with the long wait, they place is very neat and worth the time.
s. c.
Great food and drinks at a reasonable price.
D. T.
A lovely high ceilinged grandiose pub popular with locals and tourists alike. Lovely staff who deal with dozens of different languages with equal humour. A simple place but well worth a visit.
D. M.
Great old London pub. Brilliant bar staff. Def worth a visit folks. Red fox ale 👍 worth a try
W. B.
Friendly bar staff nice Fullers pub, again down the road from the Tower of London, so a pint is expensive and a bit to cold for Me(London pride)
J. G.
Quite a small menu, with only two vegan options but the vegan burger was nice and spicy and not too dry. Absolutely huge chips!
E. D.
This place was fantastic. On our last night in London, my travel mate and I were aimlessly wondering looking for a good last meal. Being in this part of the city, we noticed a lot of places close early - assuming it’s a business district. This place was a haven. The beer was fantastic, and the server we had knew a lot about them, and what they pair well with. The place has a rich history and it was a nice ending to a great trip. They have famous pies, a famous history and a fantastic menu. We will definitely be coming here again!
h. /. ه.
I had a lovely time here with my friends. It was in a good general location, and if you wanna try something that’s ‘English’, this is it. They also talk about the history of the building when you’re on your way to the restroom which is nice and I love to learn about that. I had a veggie dish so it wasn’t exactly a traditional shepherds pie but it’s as close as I’ll get!
S. F.
Lovely Victorian pub in the City close to Tower Hill tube and the river. Great selection of beers, including 5-6 Fuller's Ales. Menu is dominated by their (rightly) famous range of pies, which are very tasty if a little small for the price. Friendly and efficient table service rounded off our Saturday afternoon visit.
M. B.
Visited several times during our weekend stay, must say it was a very friendly welcoming pub and the Food was lovely.
D. C.
Always a good beer here, freshly poured and beer lines sparking clean.
Great traditional decor and friendly staff. Food is awesome too.
V. S.
Great pub full of local historic pictures, and more importantly great selection of beers and ales
S. R.
A massive beer selection and a great place to grab drinks at the bar. Can get a little crowded though. The pies are apparently world-class
F. B. P.
The Hung Drawn & Quartered is a typical English pub. It offers a limited range of main courses but they are typical and of quite good quality. The staff is friendly but could be more efficient. Prices are not expensive. Toilets must be improved.
A. H.
Beautiful pub for a Christmas drink. A true slice of old London. Cheerful staff.
D. S.
Best thing about this pub is the beautiful interior. Very well appointed.
Given its Tower Of London location it gets packed with tourists during the day, topped up with City-folk in the evening. The ground floor is relatively small and the bar correspondingly smaller - so if you’re just in for a drink you will probably struggle to find a seat and getting served can take a while. This isn’t a criticism - there is a lot of money in food sales, so no blame on the management for focusing on this. From what I saw, the tourists seemed pretty happy.
The Fullers range of beers is good, staff seemed friendly and it’s a pleasant environment. For a casual drinker, this rates as 3 stars (as I know of lots better suited in the area) although I understand why it would rate higher with others.
H. J.
Great pub!! Drinks and pies were very good, the hummus too ! And good ambiance too.
A. H.
Love The History, The Staff,The Location Of This Place.Make Sure You Have Plenty Of Cash On You As It Ain't Cheap (What Pub Is Right ? ??
I Also Loved How They Decorated Inside The Pub.
Come For The Tower Of London(Nearby) And Stay For This Pub's History.
And What I've Put On Here Is With This Review Is Just A Small Selection Of What's On Their Walls.
Have a Go😉
L. A.
We were worried because of its touristry location, the food wouldnt be good. When the food was served we were so impressed by how amazing it was. A great pace for an ultimate english experence
M. H.
Cozy pub with a good choice of beer. We did not eat, but the food looked very good.
Handy for the Tower especially if you want to avoid Wetherspoons!
K. W.
It's a decent enough pub, although can't really recommend it for watching football/any kind of event. The TVs are small, quiet and don't make for a great viewing experience. But I appreciate that's not the primary focus of this pub, hence still 4*
A. H.
Lovely Historic Pub With A F.A.B name.Friendly Staff And Cracking Service.
A Bit Pricey But That's Not Surprising Being That It Is In The Centre Of London Around The Corner From The Tower Of London.
Great Decor Inside.
You Could Pop In For A Half And Just Read The Stuff On The Walls.
Will Definitely Visit Again.
s. m.
Historic pub that feels like you're stepping back in time. Name reflects the history of hanging in this area and it looks towards the tower of London. Been here a few times, love the atmosphere.
D. F.
Amazingly attentive staff, which is a rarity in central London, Chilled atmosphere and a varied selection of drinks, a proper pub in amongst all the high street chains.
J. B.
Great place, ambience and delicious food. Good variety of beers.
V. P.
Lovely ambience, friendly service. Food is also quite good, though I end up eating only pie every time I visit! The filling is tasty but could do with a thinner crust.
J. D.
Decent pub, friendly staff and quality beer. Food looked good from what I could see
K. K. B. A.
Great sunday lunch, fish and chip and tasting pie menu with 3 goods beers.
Highly recommended
S. B.
Great pub....reasonable prices...good food...lovely helpful staff
A. P.
Lovely old pub with good quality real ales.
R. P.
Lovely pub, good selection of drinks and lovely staff
J. E.
The pot pies were better than expected and this combination of ale and pot pies was delightful. I have never tried a true ale before and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Much better than many other restaurants I have tried.
I. C.
Great atmosphere and if you're eating try the pie, very yummy.
J. E.
Lovely old fashioned pub. Friendly service and good food.
R. S.
Nice pub but the food was nothing special considering the price. Specialises in pies but I thought mine was a bit bite size. Not many chips either. Possibly this is for my own good but I wasn't overly impressed. It is a nice pub though would have scored higher if I'd only had a pint.
b. m.
Beautiful historic Pub. Lots of dark wood and good beer.
C. S.
This is a beautiful building and an excellent pub. Ideal if you're visiting the Tower. The beer is kept superbly, as you'd expect from Fuller's, and the food was delightful. The service we received from a young man called Jay was exemplary. Fuller's are lucky to have such professional, polite, and efficient staff. Thank you very much.
C. M.
Popped in for a quick pint. Decent range of bitters and lagers. Quick service. Nice.
M. H.
Friendly staff, delicious food, great location and beautiful decor. Loved every minute.
Y. 4.
Lovely pub to sit and chill on an evening. Food very good and not a bad price. Beer not so cheap though.
P. H.
Great pies, friendly staff, good vibes. This pub is really to be recommended.
M. K.
Great old pub. Good Guinness and atmosphere
C. K.
Beautiful pub, friendly staff and as London prices go....quite reasonable
T. B.
Lovely pub lots of history (next to the tower of London) but made my eyes water over the cost of a pint.
A. L.
Great atmosphere history. Good ale and excellent food
G. S. C.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff were very friendly and the pies are great.

D. B.
Nice all fashioned pub to have a meal and drink
L. V. D. D.
Super kind and attentive staff with great food recommendations. Very tasty vegan burger and thick chips. Good beer on tap too. Nice salad with extra veggies and pine nuts. Just around the corner from the Tower so get there early for best seat. Very accommodating staff even if it's busy.
J. A.
We stopped here for drinks on our way home. Good British Pub. Love the decor!
C. A.
A very accommodating place. We made a booking for a party of seven. The person on the phone took our details, but when we turned up, there was no record of us immediately available. However, a quick call found our details, after which we were given a table and free puddings to make up for the problems.
Of course, the food was top notch, as well. I particularly enjoyed their fish and chips.
This is a good place for tourists to get a feel for British pubs after visiting the Tower of London.
P.
I had an enjoyable time here, the lady who served me was very efficient and good at pulling a perfect pint. My beer was nice and cold and also strong. The staff seem to be very efficient, quick and pleasant. There were plenty of comfortable seats inside and I liked the atmosphere and the decor inside. I liked the dark green paintwork and the pretty chandeliers on the high ceilings.
The only slight problem was that the pub was quite noisy with lots of customers but I could still hear myself think 😃
The Asahi Super Dry is a very nice beer.
A. C.
Excellent pies and ale, pies are in fact to die for. Get a sampler and enjoy! The photo shows their pie and ale sampler.
G. T.
Friendly staff nice place to sit and enjoy a pint while watching the world go by
C. A.
Nice quiet pub decent pint

Great pint of Pride... Great staff! Thanks.
J. C.
What can I say great to be back inside a pub great service and great beer can't wait to go back again love this proper london pub

We had a delicious lunch here. Wonderful service from the staff, would recommend highly.
M. B.
Good pub for drinking. Nice location behind the tower.
J. M.
Decent London boozer, nothing makes it stand out

B. G.
Great value food and drink. Pleasant and friendly staff, can highly recommend this historic pub.
W. 1.
So this is my favorite pub in London. Its location right next to the tower of London, and tower bridge, Soho, and White Chaple make it a great tourist stop, and as for what to eat well meat pies are where it's at. I highly recommend the lamb and pepper pie. Everything is made fresh and ready to order, top this with a pint and your in heaven.
C. H.
Lovely decor, seating was great, place was spacious. Everything was great, food and drinks were delicious especially the pies but the service was a bit of a let down, servers were everywhere but very hard to call for a request.
D. O.
Nice cosy pub with lovely interior friendly staff and great food
D. H.
This is a great pub, good food and good ale!
R. R.
I visited London for a weekend and went to the Hung, Drawn and Quartered with family. 6 of us had a main course and a few drinks..... Very reasonably priced!
The staff were friendly, very attentive and couldn't do enough for us.
A lovely experience, we will return when in London again!
J. H.
Great, friendly staff and lovely food. An attractive pub within easy walking distance of the Tower of London.
Had the trio of mushrooms pie with mash and seasonal veg which was a very tasty and filling vegetarian meal.
I would definitely visit again.
M. R.
Really nice traditional pub with interesting historical memorabilia. Fairly small dining area for pub grub but really nice steak and ale pie (best I've had for a while). Good beer as well and good service. What more can you want? I will definitely try to visit again.

Started a lads day off here and I loved to feel upon entering, it's a pub full of features & character. Pub was full & buzzing whilst we were there and was a great place to start the day, I have to say it was one of the best pubs in the area & on our day pub crawling. Will be going back.
J. R.
Nice pub but had two large G&T's and was fleeced for £26. Felt hung drawn and quartered after that price !!!!
D. O.

Great friendly service & London Pride on draft. What more could you want🙂👍🍻
B. “.
Very nice pub, little draft, food looked great
M. S.
Excellent pie and ale meal at reasonable price. Very busy so booking a table is recommended.
N. R.
The pies here are great. The beer to go with the pies also need to be praised.
P. L.
Tasty pies--I recommend the Ale & Pies which includes a taster of three each--in a nice setting nearby London Tower. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly inside, and I think the decor would be more welcoming if it was a bit warmer in English Pub style.
It appears from the outside larger than it is, and we waited a bit to be seated on a late Saturday afternoon. Fairly indifferent staff.
I would recommend going for a bite, as the separate area for drinks only didn't seem very cosy.
O. C.
Always love coming here. Beer is consistently excellent
T. M.
Nice pub with clean toilets
S. G.
Lovely pies! It was the first English meals had in London. Definitely worth the visit and the money. If you are going to eat here make sure you're starving the portions are huge. It was the only meal I ate all day! 😋😋😋
J. H.
Fantastic place, amazing pies! Everyone was social distancing too, which made us feel safe. The staff were very attentive too. Can definitely recommend.
J. L.
Always great food, and lovely staff
J. G.
The Honey dew golden age is truly exceptional, and the pies are excellent. The chicken tikka masala pie was good, but the steak and ale pie was excellent. Good service, fun atmosphere. No doubt the best place to eat after visiting the tower of London
E. T.
The place is very cosy. The food is very good. The pies were really tasty and there is an option to try three different ones on small portions. The staff was lovely. Highly recommended. But do not forget to book a table in advance!! :-)
W. B. (.
The picture you see on the Google page for this bar is pretty much the entire seating here. Super tiny, but hey, what a cool name! When I walked in, all the tables, about ten of them, were taken. The wait staff just shrugged. I walked to the bar, stood there to drink a beer waiting for somebody to leave. Alas, nobody did. I moved on. So perhaps this review isn't entirely fair, but don't bring a group of more than four here!
E. B.
Brilliant pies, good selection of beer & cider but the service let it down. We felt welcomed when we arrived but after our main meal the service became non-existant. Despite having table service we ended up going to queue at the bar to pay so we could leave.
C. C.
Great pie and pints just a stones throw from the Tower of London!
R. B. -. E. k.
Love the place even just for the name!!
When I pass by which is quite frequently pop in for a small drink and pie.
Really do not drink much at all these days and appreciate it much more.
Music loud but common these days.
My1/2 pint was great and the pie was good.
What a name for a pub!!
M. N.
Love this pub.... Put it on your bucket list
C. O.
Good beer . Nice pub
M. W.
We arrived early for our reservation but Jay made sure we didn't have to wait too long. He continued to offer fantastic service a d advice throughout. The food was fantastic and Jay was attentive throughout. We were entertaing friends from the USA who really enjoyed the evening.
K. A.
Food was on point and drafts were in good selection👌 if you're gonna come to london ya gotta have the fish and chips and this place does it good. Although if pure looking for cod fish and chips which I always do, they didnt haven't when I was there
P. N.
Great pub atmosphere right next to Tower of London.
G. P.
We stepped over for a pint and a bite after leaving another establishment. I thought the food was terrific, the fish goujons hit the spot with a nice pint of ale! Price wise, everything was spot on and fair.
Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice!
R. U.
The good bits: a lovely pub with character. Excellent and pleasant service. The not so good bits: items on the menu not available, beer not chilled enough and a tad expensive for what you got, but the food was nicely presented and tasty.
N. W.
Really excellent pies, they've upped their pie game. Pretty decent selection of cask and keg ales, all your classic Fuller's ales, well kept. Pleasingly lit with the appropriate amount of charming pub accoutrements.
B. H.
We had a delicious lunch here. Wonderful service from the staff, would recommend highly.
R. G.
Great pub, great location, what's not to like?
Located as centrally as you'd like, close to Oxford Street when you get a bit fed up of walking around.
As a victim of its own popularity, it does get quite busy, so get there straight after work to avoid the crowds!
A. S.
Really great pub food, and great service.
P. H.
Very busy city pub, very close to the Tower of London
This is a popular city meeting place and can be busy lunchtime and evening.
Has a good menu ranging from snacks to quality meals
Staff a friendly and efficient but you should expect to wait a few minutes to be served during busy periods
Note... Parking is almost impossible!!!
E. M.
This place is class... Great gin, i loved the decoration... I will be back soon 👍👍
l. t.
Nice pub, staff very friendly and helpful
Great value food
J. M.
Food is standard for pub in London. They have a good pie collection. Staff are friendly but they forgot my fries once. Can't really go wrong in this pub though
J. C.
What can I say great to be back inside a pub great service and great beer can't wait to go back again love this proper london pub
S. T. G. (. S.
Great meat pies and close to the Tower of London
K. W.
A lovely pub with attentive staff and a menu for every appetite. We had a selection of tapas for a light bite all of which were very good. Would definitely go back.
M. A.
Fantastic meat pies and a wonderful beer paring option!
S. R.
Lovely interior; nice selection of beers. We didn't try the food, though there were some good choices on the menu. Good place to stop with friends for a pint.
T. M.
A Fuller's pub that offers a full range of Fuller's ale, excellently kept and served. Along with hand made specialist pies and other food.
Close to The Tower of London, Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast it makes a great place to stop and have a drink and a bite to eat while you're in this area.
C. A.
Nice quiet pub decent pint
B. B.
Not a bad selection of Fuller's Real Ale and very good food. Service was also good. I enjoyed Smoked Trout which I would have thought, as an American, was cold smoked salmon, atop a salad, which was delicious.
d. h.
Great staff and great atmosphere would recommend to all we know
M. W.
Large, airy city pub a stone's throw from The Tower attracts a mix of business types and confused tourists. Good food, including a few veggie options at not too ridiculous prices, plus Fuller's and other beers.
W. S.
Great 👍 the meat 🥧 were fantastic
G. T.
Friendly staff nice place to sit and enjoy a pint while watching the world go by
J. S.
Pretty standard pub with pretty good food, I'd recommend it
M. T.
Nice pub, good food selection and does Sunday lunch. Good selection of beers an larger. Food ok, was very busy with all tables taken.
M. S.
Nice place, especially if you're looking for that British pub feel near the Tower of London. When we arrived early evening the kitchen was closed already, so it's drink only in the evenings.
G. B.
Descent food and courteous staff. Will definitely come again.
J. A.
Loved it, a bit pricey for me but didn't regret the hours spent here.
G. Y.
Great pub, can't fault the service, atmosphere or food. Held a Christmas party here on a busy evening for 15 people and have never been so well looked after. Highly recommend a visit.
G. P.
Decent beer and usual pub meals in quite a small bar near the Tower of London. Good place for meeting people given the easy to find location.
C. W.
Great food
S. H.
Popped in here for an after work beer with friends - crowded and quite loud, but very very traditional boozer and servicebwas quick enough. And the toilets weren't a nightmare. Can't imagine how much of a crush there is on a Friday evening though
C. H.
Gorgeous Tudor themed pub, although it's not as old as it looks (before 1996 it was part of a charity hospital) and serves a menu with lots of interesting pies. I had the guinea fowl, which came with mash, gravy and cabbage and was good but a bit overpriced.
S. M.
Everything about it felt just right. Great looking place. Professional and friendly staff. The pies, fish and chips and burger were tasty. Great place to stop between the tower of London and the City.
G.
Fabulous service, great beers on tap and wonderful food especially the pies! You have to try the pies! Bathrooms are located downstairs. This is a great place to duck out of the rain.
T. C.
Cool spot for a pint and a mini pie
T. E.
Excellent service, good selection of ales and a very tasty ham hock pie. Very well located for the Tower of London. Highly recommended.
K. K.
Nice pub for a quick bite to eat or a few drinks, a chat and a warm up.
Reasonably priced to but I'd avoid the wine unless you are buying a bottle.
m. C.
Great pub and brilliant staff very helpful and friendly great service
S. T.
Expensive, touristy (the two are clearly linked) and far to small, can't really accommodate anything other than very small groups (couples!) - that said, service and staff are excellent, nice selection of quality drinks
S. A.
Nice little pub good ales
N. R.
Fuller's pie and ale pub close to the Tower of London, with interesting architectural features
J. M. o. D.
Decent food at a reasonable price. Try the English fare! Service was very nice; they even let us Yanks come in before they opened because they saw us wet and cold.
I.
Old-fashioned pub for locals and not for city boys or tourists. Juke box, pool table, and basic but we'll kept staples on tap at reasonable prices , four pint for fifteen pounds!
M. S.
Slightly uninspiring pub. Typical chain affair really. Location is good for tourist type activity. Drinks reasonably expensive but about normal for this part of London.
h. M.
Loved this London pub. Great location if you are visiting tower bridge. Food was also really nice
P. S.
Great pint of Pride... Great staff! Thanks.
r.
Quite a good pub despite being a Greene King house. Lots of room to sit and a decent bar setup. Handy for the Tower and surrounding attractions.
R. S.
Delicious food, charming atmosphere, and friendly service - although a bit slow. Staff were able to accomodate our party of 6, sans reservation. Highly recommend The Hung, Drawn, and Quartered pub for luncheon or a pint!
B. J.
On our visit to London we stayed at a hotel down the street from The Hung Drawn & Quartered. We ended up popping in here several times during our stay for a pint and one of their delicious meat pies. Definitely would go back again and again.
A.
Like pubs but hate tourists? Too bad! If you're reading this, congratulations, you're looking for a pub in one of the most tourist laden quarters of ol'Blighty. Good luck on the tourist front and, honestly, I'd suggest you overcome your tourist-hating ways, because there are some great stops to be had amidst the selfie sticks and rolling luggage.
This is one of them. Get drawn in by the name, stay for a pint and pubbery. Despite being a stone's throw from the Tower, The Hung Drawn & Quartered maintains a pretty authentic, not manufactured, London pub atmosphere. You won't find anything here that can't be found at any number of other London pubs, but that's not a bad thing. Ales, lagers, and ciders are on tap. If you buy one, you can then enjoy it at your leisure in an establishment that's sure to scratch that pub-yearning itch.
C. K.
Good pub.. Got drunk on the cornish cider.. 😂 😂
t. m.
Great looking old style city pub.
Impromptu stop on a pub crawls across the city at christmas. Good lively feel, but quick service. Great looking interior and good range of ales on offer
G. S.
Great pub in Tower Hill location where this should feel touristy but doesn't.
Solid menu and non too pricey. Children allowed under close supervision.
D. R.
Nice pub but seems a bit expensive at over £5 for a pint of cider, but then it is the city I guess. Loos are below ground so not easy for disability access.
M.
Been here couple of times, the beer selection is good, staff was very nice, and their fish & chips and English breakfast were spot-on! Would visit again!
C. G.
We had the pie tasting sharing menu item for £16 which was great, nice pint of beer, nice surroundings and they do a good cup of tea. Very nice place to stop for lunch.
G. J.
It's a nice pub, close to the Tower of London. Full of interesting artefacts connected with its name and heritage. The food looked good, if a little pricey.
J. M.
Decent London boozer, nothing makes it stand out
F. W.
Excellent, very tasty food, highly recommended.
S. R.
Great pub, love it in here. Atmosphere and decor are fab. Nice staff and clean toilets.
T. M.
Weird seating arrangement for those dining in a small sectioned off area. Nonetheless nice service and lovely food. Were understaffed when we visited.
l. w.
Great friendly service & London Pride on draft. What more could you want🙂👍🍻
G.
Awesome place, great food and super service
C. T.
First establishment I remembered visiting in London. A stop for a pint and pie is a must. Make sure you have a lunch during a bank holiday weekend!
A. G.
I loved it. The service was more as great. They show us the best options for dinner and have beer! Thanks i'll go back again once in london!
G. R.
Good traditional pub fare in a good location. Staff was friendly and lunch could be had at a reasonable cost. Really like the name of this place!
N. P.
Pie was good. Thanks!
J. W.
Really helpful and friendly staff, table service for food. The food was good and the price very reasonable. Friendly atmosphere. A really good traditional pub.
S. M.
Looks alot bigger on the outside. Not much seating space however staff were very helpful to make sure we had somewhere to sit. Reasonably priced beverages and food was to a good standard.
B. K.
I've been looking forward to eating here, but the food selection is small. It has a high roof which one the one hand is nice but lost the feel of a 16th century pub.
B. R.
Great mini English pies and flat bread and hummus. Beer was good as well. Not far from the tower of London.
S. H.
Fullers pub
Serves a fair selection of drinks - city prices not cheap
Over £5.00 for a pint of Guinness - a bit pricey
Had a meal there - you can book a table if you wish as we did - menu a bit limited in my view but food was fine for what it was
Toilets downstairs which were clean
Didn't see any disabled toilets - not saying there were none just didn't see any
Quite a small pub
Worth a visit in my view
L. J.
Looked good, friendly staff... But we were there for a few minutes.. pub was too busy we couldn't get a seat so we walked out...
C. L.
Great location and very good beer and food. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Try it out if you are by Tower of London.
N. P.
Cozy, but small Fuller's pub. Lacks the character of most others. Would recommend Counting House (nearby) over this if you want a decent pint of Fuller's.
T. C.
Good little pub, food and drink was excellent, staff very friendly and service was very efficient. Only downside no
Sunday roasts.
D. G.

Great place. A beautiful traditional English pub. Very nice atmosphere and a great service.
P. P.
Decent drinks and food.
Priced slightly higher, but worth it for the most part.
Staff could definitely pay more attention to customers.
J. L.
Friendly staff, nice food and beer ok, but if you're after a decent pint then the Brewdog opposite is better

One of my favourite pubs, ESB on pump, good food. Love this place.
A. T.
Nice pub, decent prices. Busy, so standing-room only, but not a criticism - it's popular!
D. K.
Pub has a lovely atmosphere, and is great for a drink. Wouldn't recommend this pub for food, as it is overpriced and bland.
D. S.
The ale & pie sampler was very good; I would highly recommend ordering it, or any of their pies. However, the service staff was direct, and almost rude.
N. H.
Excellent service and great drinks in a relaxed atmosphere
S. D.
Excellent service and ambience right in the middle of tourist London. Great place for a traditional pub meal
P. J.
Lovely food and friendly staff
C. C.
Lovely evening spent, enjoyable meal, helpful staff.
T. M.
Lovely proper pub near Tower Hill. Whenever we’re in London we have to pay a visit for a pint and a pie.
J. C.
Old pub in the city of London. Gets very busy on Friday
lunchtimes. Food is traditional pub fare, pies, fish and chips. Etc. Nice enough place for a drink
A. K.
Visited while on a trip from Boston. Great old fashion pub. Had the one of there pies with chips and a couple pints. Would recommend.
M. P.
Great little place to have a quick pint and a bit to eat. Seating is limited so be prepared to wait for a table. But we'll worth a visit
F. I.
Good beer and fish'n'chips. But especially the service staff were very friendly and helpful. Orders will be taken at the table.

J. K.
Food was nice and the people were very friendly and helpful! Also we loved the paintings with descriptions about historical persons.
T. M.
Steeped in history and not a bad pint. Started off quiet but picked up as businesses closed their doors for the evening.
n. m.

Very old and famous pub in London
P. R.
Great pub food and choice of beers plus the history, amazing views next to Thames and two outdoor areas.
A. M.
Step back into time in this pub. Good typical pub food and service. They cater to many nations with many different languages available.
J. S.
Nothing fancy about the place. You get the regular stuff that you get in all pubs. Washrooms were not as clean as I would've liked. It was crowded and we had difficulty hearing each other in a group.
M. H.
Good old pub if you're looking for something fun after visiting the Tower of London. A. It pricey though.
J. M.
Pub with character. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Not too busy on our visit.
C. (.
Great food and tea. It's a bit noisy but it's not that bad. Great experience.
E. T.
Clean public house serving food the staff were very friendly but I didn't know that 2 pints of beer would cost £11?
P. S.
Typical Fullers Ale & Pie house. Some local history colour from is proximity too the Tower of London. Ales were will kept when I visited.
S. R.
Great place with great food and beers. The fish and chips is that of almost any place you can get it, but the pies! Try the pies for sure and you'll be in heaven!

Small but welcoming. Lovely staff. Fantastic pie & the sticky toffee pudding... Mmmmm!

A bit disappointed with this pub, no different from your run of the mill pub on any hight street
R. W.
Nice place. Didn't have things that were listed on the menu. Broken lock on the only stall in the Mens bathroom.
M. M.
The beer is up to the normal Fullers standard and the decor is interesting to look at. In an excellent location too.

After a tour of the Tower of London, there is nothing more satisfying than indulging in a non-traitorous manner in a pint of bitter without fear of risk of being hung drawn and quartered.
