I popped into The Imperial a few weeks ago with my family but was in a bit of a rush. My wife and I returned tonight on our own before going to a show and had time for a couple of the fine range of drinks available and some great food. I’m partial to a good pub pie and chips and it was superb. The service is quick and friendly and the pub feels comfy and welcoming. It’s an ideal place for some pre show or cinema refreshments. A really nice traditional English pub. I’ll be back!

A great pub, nestling between Leicester Square and Chinatown. Happy polite attentive staff to help you drink the day away. A good place to meet for a chat and and to out the world to rights. Only one cask (IPA) on offer when I was here, others on the way though. Plenty of keg on offer, along with a pie menu for the hungry. A most pleasant pub, certainly worth a visit.

Little gem of a pub Pub was very busy & we where pushed for time so only had chance to order a starter & drink. Due to time constraints bar man promised us a full refund if our starters did not arrive within 10/15 mins - luckily our food turned up on time 😀 Would rate this tiny bar 5 stars for staff attitude/ helpfulness & friendliness Our starters where worth the money and tasty, just wish we had the time to order a main Would we return if in the area again, 100%

Lovely little pub in the heart of the West End. Was made to feel welcome and ordering was so easy. Food and drinks arrived promptly and the food was fantastic. Only negative was the state of the toilets which were really dirty and in desperate need of a revamp.

Great boozer right in the heart of the West End. Went with friends before going to Prince Charles Cinema just round the corner. Excellent beers and beautiful decor. The team were working so hard but made our visit really enjoyable. Will definitely be going back when in the area.

Good, if basic, English pub. Most staff are nice & friendly. Some outside seating in front. Better range of beers than you might expect for a tourist-heavy location & boozer. Okay food (standard level pub classics). Toilets are horrible and are up/down very steep stairs.

Sat outside and talked and watched the world go by. They do food here although we were going for a Chinese meal round the corner so only had drinks. Not too busy inside on a fine, warm evening but outside tables were full. Only problem with sitting outside, as with all pubs/restaurants, is that the smokers all gravitate there as well. Handy for a drink before going for a Chinese meal.

Came to the west end today 4/9/21, went into the Imperial Pub, just off Leicester Square. Lovely food, all the bar staff were very friendly and helpful and the price was brilliant. I would recommend this pub and the food to everyone 😀

Loved it, quick couple of pints while the wife and kids were in the lego shop.. was then joined by them. One of the staff, think he was an Italian fella was very cheerful and funny. Loved a bit of banter. Made for a great experience. Visited over August Bank Holiday (friday) been in a few times over the years and it's definitely one of my favourite pubs in the area.

A great very english pub! The Imperial A beautiful English pub done in the classic style. Lots of bunting up for Harry and Meg's wedding. I just had to stop for the experience. I ordered the wagyu burger which came with 2 onion rings and french fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was red cabbage with so much mayo that i thought it was a condiment/sauce. Ive never had a wagyu burger. It tasted like any old burger to be honest. It was delicious though. I also ordered a side dish of seasonal vegetables which were deplorable! Cold and clammy. They tasted boiled or recently frozen. Overall though a beautiful experience! 🇬🇧👰

It is a traditional English Pub very close to Lechester Square and Soho. They have a good selection of beers. We didn't order any food so I can't comment on that. The price of a pint is not cheap but the location probably make it more expensive.

Was there for the England versus Scotland game...staff were exceptional, manager a true gentleman we had a fantastic time singing our songs and met up with a few England fans too 0-0 was a fair result from both parties, next time on London will ensure this wee. Excellent customer service. Grey experience with all the team of waiters and waitresses. They recommended the chocolate cake fudge which was great. And besides that is a pub as many others of London. Location is perfect, they have a terrace ane also and inner space where we were super comfortable.

While in the Piccadilly Circus area and ready for lunch, we spotted The Imperial Pub and decided to stroll in. There is a nice old feel to the pub, right down to the dumbwaiter behind the bar. Guinness, of course, was a given. Their Old Epping Sausage and Mash was splendid, the gravy and the peas in particular. The Steak & Kidney Pudding, once the crust was cut into; emanated a waft of aroma and goodness all rolled into one. In short, all the makings of a good meal. We declined dessert - in favor of another pint or two - but maybe Coffee & Cake another time. We would definitely visit, when in the area once again.

A good old fashioned British pub in London ,serves good and good beer. Read leather seats add to the atmosphere. Contactless payments accepted along with the good old fashioned cash. There is a good selection of real ales and craft beers, and spirits. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They do have seats outside if the weather is good. It was so no spaces.

Despite being just a few steps away from the Leicester square tourist traps, this pub manages to avoid the worst of the overcrowding that the other local establishments suffer from. I like that you can usually get your order in without waiting behind hordes of tourists struggling to make themselves understood to the bar staff. There is nothing particularly fancy about this place. It's a central London pub charging central London prices, but it's the lack of fussiness that holds the appeal for me. Whilst my normal advice is to avoid drinking in the area, if you are around here this is a better place than most. Service was also good - particularly if you make the effort to be nice in return. After a couple of rounds the bar staff knew our order better than us!

Look, let's be honest here. It's a pub. There's very little else you can say about this, and, given it's location, this is probably a good thing. Despite sitting just off Leicester Square, it's mercifully lacking in throngs of tourists. There's nothing particularly exceptional or bad about this place (although, as you'd expect, it's perhaps a little pricey) but it serves its purpose nicely, which is to say it's a decent place to have a quiet pint (and even, if you're lucky, a slightly more irregularly seen ale) in one of the busiest areas of London.

Visited many times since, despite its proximity to Leicester Square, the tourists tend to miss it. Quite nice traditional interior although decidedly grubby and could do with a bloody good clean, beer (4 pumps - Sharp's Doom Bar, Bombardier, Greene King IPA and London Pride) is usually good and at around the £3.30 mark isn't too expensive for this location which makes up somewhat for the very mediocre and expensive food. The staff are a waste of time and prefer to natter than to serve customers. On the whole, average.
