We come here most Fridays after work and always have a great time. Nice food and a great selection of drinks (even though we always have the same!) Shout out to both George and Frenchy for always being lovely, friendly and welcoming. They always give us great service and ensure that we’re happy with our orders, and will go above and beyond for us!

Decided to come here to see what it was like after they renovated. Quite like the new look with good layout, plenty of seating, wood floors and generally a much nicer feel to the place. Only came for a drink on a Friday afternoon but plenty of people there and staff very efficient.

I would like to thank Marine especially as she has been a wonderful person looking after us through the COVID experience. And the rest of the crew have been tremendous. I’ve only started coming to the Joiners in the last three years and the experience has been wonderful where everyone has been so polite and hospital. The management Sue and Darren have been the best and I will miss them when they move onto pastures new.

Visited the joiners this week and had wonderful time. The staff were super welcoming and the service from our server George was excellent. A lovely pub with great staff and an excellent range of beers and food, which kira & spencer helped us decide on. Would love to see the DJ return here

I had a great time last night, it was live music ! The staff was really nice and efficient They have great beers like Neck Oil and Gamma ray and a large selection of wines. The garden is huuge shame that there is no music outside (there is music coming from the TVs, but you can't really hear once it is busy). I guess it is between a sport pub and a cocktail bar, loads of tv and 2 for 1 cocktails at all time ! Will definitely come again, maybe i'll try some food next time

Always a nice experience, staff very attentive, table service which is nice, drinks reasonably priced, food good if you are eating and bar area and toilets always clean. Would recommend if you are in the area.

I came with my firend to watch Anthony Joshua's fight, We didn't book a table, so I didn't have much hope for a table with a good view, but the lady at the door was amazing and she found us a very nice table with a good view of the tv. The pub was quite busy but we got our drinks quickly, the same lady even offered us table service. First time coming there, we usually go to Tally, but this one is much nicer. I don't usually give review but i feel like the staff derserve it, 5 stars Thank you guys

The pandemic has improved this place immensely, no longer being able to cram the place to the rafters with people on a fri/sat night makes this place a very pleasant place to go. I have had 5* experience with the customer service from the staff at the joiners Arms the door staff were were very friendly on approach and helped us get checked in and seated at out tables..very well spoken and welcoming. The food was amazing especially the pepperoni pizza which I thoroughly enjoyed. The venue manager Darren was very polite and when I asked for a recommendation on food he gave the good option.would definitely visit again. All of the staff we very friendly and welcoming.

Very nice pub but the drinks are very expensive. You have to sign in to track and trace when you go in. We had table service which was brilliant and the person serving us was cheerful and funny. The bar and the whole pub was very well laid out and was really clean and tidy.

Absolutely great pub since they got rid of the old GM. New management, who are proper hands on and really efficient friendly staff who are super efficient. Limited menu due to covid but a lovely garden and comfortable seating make up for it. Good range of drinks and reasonable prices. If you're thinking of coming for the Euro's, book a table or you may not get in. It's a popular place to go.

Since the refurbishment the pub has gotten a lot better! It's a pleasant environment and a great place to watch sports. Good selection of drinks and the food isn't bad. In particular the staff are great - most recently Spencer was a laugh, helpful, and so friendly!

I liked the back terrace, but I was a bit disappointed about the long waiting, didn't order food because they were telling us we need to wait at least 45-50 min for food, and for sure we would not get the food in the same time so was no point to stay longer than one drink, I will try to go there once more to see if would be the same I would let you know the next experience wish you all the best !

A very covid compliant pub which seems to be surprisingly hard to find at the moment! Tables are all spaced apart and purchases are made on an app so no queuing at the bar. Sports is shown here which is great and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back and spending more time in the beer garden out the back.

Moving over from Ireland I very rarely find a place as genuinely friendly and relaxed as this place I’ve had a bit of work to do lately and being able to relax in this pub is great and very reasonably priced again the staff are just genuine not forcing a smile which is great. Lovely local pub. Great screens for sports. Lovely manager (The lady) she is always polite and the staff are nice. Bit annoyed as last saturday the security guard and manager (The young man)(Both very young) did not allow my sister who is 4 years older then me (I'm 34) in without ID. The lady manager let us both in the first time we came without ID on a friday, during the week I was there with my partner and there was no issues. The two on the door on saturday had a massive power trip. The fact of the matter is security allowed us with the managers disrection on the first night we went on weekend night but this guy couldnt do it for us. The fact the pub was practically empty apart from a few in the garden, I dont get why they were both being such jobsworths. Will totally go there again but only when the Lady manager is there.

Recently renovated, this pub while has a great selection of beers, the food can be a big letdown. We've eaten here a few times and the food has either come out cold, or missing the "extras" we paid for on burgers. It feels like the staff do not pay special attention to orders which may frustrate customers. While I have no hesitation recommending this place for the drinks and the atmosphere, be cautious if planning to eat there!

I have changed my review from 1 star to 5 due to the way my complaint was handled. Very professional and I received an apology from both the manager and the chef in person along with compensation for the amount of time I had to wait for my food. Even though there are a few teething problems management appear to be addressing them. From my experience staff were polite and professional I will return when I'm in the area again.

Went there to watch the Liverpool game with my husband. Decent pint and pretty good food. Service was okay, however for majority of the night they seemed understaffed as there was only one Barman (Aiden) although he was excellent all night but refused my tip which I wasn’t to happy about haha. A very aptly named pub. Frequented by those in the construction industry. Like many pubs in the area the clientele is largely male but normally very good natured. Large open areas front and back. They have cheap meals of decent quality for the price.

Really cool pub, came to watch the Manchester Derby on one of the many screens, perfect view no matter where you were, great food and a surprisingly decent amount of beers - don't miss the back bar beers - plenty of craft and non mainstream ~IPA's and Cider All in all an excellent find and will definitely be back
