I have to say this is a fairly exemplary pub which is all the more striking given it largely serves as a station pub. The decor is traditonal but still clearly exists in the modern era and will have survived many refurbs whislt still retaining the ambiance of a gritty station pub. I particularly like the carpet and the furniture along with the snooker being played. Also being a lone-standing Tudor I find it a real gem. The lighting was also very tasteful and had a nice natural darkness. This was accentuated by the nice tinsel and Christmas tree. The staff were particularly pleasant and add to the pub. Nice selection of Greene King cask ales too.

The pub has been refurbished nicely. Was very cold in there. I had the lasagne which was burnt! My husband got a free pint as compensation. Don't think we will be going back there anytime soon

Fantastic cosy Greene King pub right next to Clapham Junction station. I popped in here mid week in January 2022 enjoying an excellent experience. TVs were showing football with the staff smiling and helpful. Has a good selection of drinks and excellent British food menu. A great spot to escape the Clapham Junction hustle and bustle.

Stopped by to watch early kick off and lunch. Staff brilliant. Had pie and mash for lunch whilst I was there. Real filling, swimming in the extra gravey as I had requested. Just a lovely place to start my Saturday. Will be back definitely recommend you stop by!!!

Love this place! The staff are incredible! All of them were so friendly and helpful, I sat there only for 2 hours but I was served by at least 3 members and all of them were amazing. Very clean and the food was delicious! Good menu with vegan options

Rachael....what do we say about Rachael. It was our first time in Clapham. After a great night, we walked to the closest pub. And then we met Rachael. She welcomed us with great service, and told us the kitchen was still open for another 10 minutes. She then provided us on great knowledge on deciding what to order. Once she delivered our food, our stomachs were fulfilled. We would strongly recommend the Greene King and Rachael.

Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere... I went to the Junction in the afternoon with my son after an appointment. He's a fussy eater and has good taste when it comes to food, also he's an annoying critique! We stopped for a quick bite to eat and ordered chicken wings (plain) without the peri sauce and a portion of garlic bread. The chicken wings were so tasty and a good size too, not those little skimpy ones you get in other establishments. The garlic bread was ciabatta and you could taste the garlic - Just how it should be! The female bar tender was very polite and attentive. My son (who's only ten) wanted to tell the chef how he enjoyed his food. I told my son that the chef is far too busy to come and speak to you, but you can pass on your compliments to the lady who served us food & drinks behind the bar. To our amazement, not only did she pass on our compliments to the chef, the chef him self actually took the time to come out from the kitchen and personally speak to my son, to thank him for his compliment. Now that's what I call service and we'll definitely go back if we're in the area.

Conveniently located if you're meeting someone near Clapham Junction. Patio at back if you want to drink outside. Often showing sports. Ok range of real ales/IPAs. Quite expensive (£6.50 a pint on most beers) Food looks decent. Can order via Greene King app which was easy and quick.

Classic pub right near Clapham Junction, tends to be quieter than the Falcon nearby but not by much. Sambrooks Junction ale is a good shout, and they do a real good baked camembert.

I've been here a fair few times and it is my favourite pub in the immediate area. Good beer and good food (according to my wife). Sometime staff can be a little slow when it gets busy but it's not for the want of trying. If you want decent pub grub and a beer then this is the place to go to. I am hoping to add the last star when I finally try the food!

We came here after stewing in the queue of the new Clapham junction wetherspoons for too long and we were not disappointed. Super service and great food. Really rate the seasonal menu and was torn for choice but eventually opted for the festive burger. Wowee, it was christmas in a bun as promised. Washed down with a crisp, cold fosters. Would recommend and will certainly return.

Just had a Christmas "do" with ex work colleagues and had a great night! Lovely food at a really reasonable price compared with other Christmas menus around London. There was football on the telly when we arrived and the pub was packed and they were very accommodating with our request to delay dinner until later when the place was a bit quieter. They pulled out all the stops with Christmas decs, we had crackers and poppers and even santa hats!! Thanks very much 😊😊

Pretty good for a pub next to a busy station. The food was quite nice and arrived fast enough. Inside it can get busy at times, but there is reasonable seating space. The ale choice is acceptable and the pint of Junction is enjoyable.

An very average pub that charges the prices of a much nicer place. The toilets are rough and have been in a state of disrepair and dirty every time I've been in here. The bar itself is a perfectly nice place to sit and drink but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Yeah it's a good pub. Beer garden is alright with an out door cocktail bar but I've not seen it open that often. Good selection of beers and lagers but my reason for a 3* rating is because of the gent's toilets. They smell like a rotten badger that died after eating another rotten badger everytime I've been in there, so maybe the last couple of years it should of been sorted by now. It's a good pub to stop in to pass the time for your next train or as a meeting point anyhow.

Came up to Clapham to see a show opposite in the grand got there bit early so popped over into here .been 1st time in pub since covid lockdowns and was greeted by Amy who was very helpful with the track and trace app and explaining the new procedures with ordering from the tables great girl shame didn't get chance to see her smile as she had to wear face coverings so anyone who reads this and knows of her get her to give me a shout,so can see that smile 😁 .great atmosphere great location . And good prices on drinks 👍👌 Monday 28th 5ish grey suit jacket and burgundy turtle neck 😁 I was table 4 Would be great to hear from her

First and foremost, it's a pub which does food and has a decent range of beers - staff friendly and efficient and prices about average - good amount of seating but can be overcrowded if football on TV or if event taking place across the road in The Grand. Front of pub has a 'lounge' feel, back of pub a 'saloon' feel, plus there's an outside 'garden' which you don't always get in this area - would happily recommend for a quick pint but not a destination pub
