D.Went here for a quick drink before dinner, and the service was brilliant. Friendly staff and great drinks. Only downfall was it’s quite small so we were left standing in a corner.
M. S.We just had a really good get together here in the cellar, it was easy to organise, it’s a great location, staff on point, food on point, the cellar gave our do a nice atmosphere, and contained the kids/adults/balloons well. Recommended.
H. G.Friday night and the pavement outside was crowded but we went upstairs to eat and found a beautiful room with high ceilings, soft lighting, big windows and a friendly welcome. If you like pies try the duck leg, it’s sublime and the veggies sweet. My husband had the Buttermilk Chicken Pie and was equally happy.

B.What can i say! Great staff, good value and tasty food and extremely well kept and clean venue. We were downstairs and I must admit we didnt know what to expect. But the basement is so aesthetically pleasing. Great place to visit would certainly recommend to anyone who is visiting Bond street and needs a place to chill before venturing back out onto the mad streets!

They are very careful with all their Covid measures, it's very clean and makes you feel safe to sit and enjoy your meal. We visited for a special occasion today and we had a delicious lunch (Fish & Chips and a Steak Pie). The prices are very reasonable, food was in ideal temperature and service by Vasco was quick, attentive, professional and friendly without being too much. Will visit again!

L. V.We popped in on a rain Saturday afternoon. The inside looks very cozy and has plenty of seating spaces. We were lucky to get a table in their dining room on first floor which looked very busy. Service was quick and Steak and Ale pie we went for was just delicious, NIcholson Pale Ale tasted great as well. This was not the first time we visited and we will definitely be back for another one next weekend.
T. S.Downstairs is a very cosy atmosphere. So much so that my brother was falling asleep down there! Staff were generally quite accomodating too.
M. D.Went there for lunch on a summer's weekday. It's a quiet place in a fairly quiet street, so it's very enjoyable to have food and drinks by the windows. The selection of beers is fine, I recommend trying the Sharp's Doombar if you haven't already.
We enjoyed a standard Fish and Chips and a vegetarian pie. Both were very nice.

H. d. G. P.Dined here in January, did not go to the bar. The pub is on a side street from Piccadilly making it a bit away from tourist crowds. The food was absolutely delicious! Went there with 2 locals and they sentenced: "way above normal pub food quality". The dining room is lovely and with a great atmosphere. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Prices are absolutely acceptable for Central London. I definetely recommend it

Standard prices for a central London pubs (pints in the range of £5 depending on what you are ordering).
Can be a bit cramped if it is really busy, but there are tables and leaners around. There is also some space outside to stand and drink or smoke.
D. P.This pub is situated between Green Park and Piccadilly Circus, it is up a random street and just looks like a normal pub on the outside.
I suppose because of the area, it is a little special, they have old style decor, with big leather chairs and just an old feel to it.
If you go upstairs, you'll enjoy more of this, it might feel you are missing your cigars and smoking jacket... I might be misremembering but I'm sure they had a piano too.
The food was pretty good to and reasonably priced, the dessert were especially amazing.

A. S.Food and service are both hit and miss. Have had great experiences and average experiences. Not cheap but probably the most reasonably priced place to have a sit down meal in Mayfair. It can look busy from the outside but the upstairs restaurant is usually very quiet.

J. H.Quite a pleasant Nicholson's pub with a good beer selection (at least five ales on tap when I visited). Window seats are prized in warm weather when the large windows are opened up to the street. A nice dark wood partition remains with some interesting iron work at the top.

P. S.A very pleasant Mayfair pub. It's a shame Central London is so pricy, 15 quid for a couple of drinks. Hey ho, you have to meet up with a mate somewhere!
S. H.Group booking. Prawn cocktails with as few as 4 prawns in. "Classic Roast Turkey" mains with 4 baby new potatoes that had been shown a little time in an oven and not roast at all, not a sprout in sight and 3 miniature baby carrots which were closer to raw than al denté and none of it hot. All for £28.95 a head. Service was initially good but marred later by an ill/short tempered member of staff with a unkempt looking beard and who obviously from his behaviour and body language didn't want to be there. He was unable to get even a repeat wine order right even despite being handed the empty bottle from the first order. One of our party paid the £5 supplement for T bone steak which came out off the bone ..and sent most of it back as it was unbearably tough. He didn't want to make a fuss which the rest of us respected but personally I felt it should have been returned for a refund/swap.
Not all bad though..Salmon main course was pretty good as was the baked cheese starter. Another colleague had the beef rib and that looked good, he was pleased with his choice. If it wasn't for these, and the good service from the rest of the staff it would have only got 2 stars max.
Funny things reviews...If it had been a personal booking and we hadn't of experienced the prawns/turkey/almost T bone and beardy, based on the other meals it would have most likely have got a much higher score from us.
I hope tourists from overseas don't sample the "classic" Christmas dinner and think that's what they are being served, seriously it's not.

S. T.A lovely all man pub (in the best sense of the phrase) that was an oasis in a sea of designer label Mayfair shops. We were walking from A to B (I've neither the taste, income or inclination for what Mayfair mostly has to offer) when we saw this boozer and stop for some liquid lunch.
A fair choice of beers and ciders and welcome relief from the expensive and superficial around it.

a. t.This is just an oasis in the Mayfair world of over priced designer stores most of which I can't even pronounce. If your looking for good old fashioned pub grub or burgers that should have ronald mcdonald signing on the dole then this is the place to be. And the icing on the cake is the wonderful kirsty with her warm smile and seductive scottish voice. If she's representative of all Scottish people then I'm buying a kilt and crossing the border. Don't miss out on this pub its truly a gem.
