L.It was a good afternoon and catch up with friends. Food was lovely and staff were polite. Just a little over priced in my opinion. I was surprised to see that the customers were not as diverse but that’s not fault of the pub - just an observation. Would recommend it and would go again! Thank you
A. G.Above the average British pub in terms of food. Many tables outside for those fee sunny days.
We chose to eat the chicken sharer and everything tasted great.
Sweet ports potato fries and humus were excellent.
We also had a Caesar salad with anchovies.
Service was fast and everyone very polite and always responsive to our requests.
I would definitely go back.
S. O.Absolutely wonderful pub. The assistant manager served us our first drink and I noticed a pre batched decanter of bloody Mary. Bloody Mary was it good!! One of the best I've ever tasted as he proffered a taster. Great service, lovely food by the looks of what others were chowing down on and a friendly laid back ambiance. Very much recommended
D. T.A super pub off down Gloucester Avenue. Lovely staff with a welcoming smile (imagined, in these days of facemasks for all!). A couple of casks on offer, Doombar and TT landlord. And a range of kegs too. Simple but tasty looking food available. A well used friendly pub. Good for a visit. I does have some unnatural advice, do not approach the bar! We live in uncertain times. Others have survived much worse so keep smiling and keep drinking!
H. T.Lovely pub. Decent pizza and craft beer selection. Easy, relaxed. Simple chairs and tables, dog friendly. One of a good selection for the area.
