Love this place! It's been closed for ages but recently reopened under new management. They've kept all the lovely quirks and added to its interior tastefully, and still offer the gin tasting alongside amazing cocktails and non-gin based drinks (but why bother??). Staff are brilliant, full of energy and really passionate. Thoroughly recommend, but book in advance as it gets booked up! I've tried a few of their trio of gin tastings and they've all been delicious!

Attended a friends birthday earlier this week and had an amazing time. The venue is stunning and gives off a real speakeasy vibe. The staff are just incredible, they cannot do enough for you while also bring the party. Special shout out to Shane for being the life and soul of the evening and to the whole team for providing an amazing evening enjoyed by all. Thank you!

The London Gin Club, what can I say other than this was my first time experiencing the tasting of gin in this way! Made my reservation before hand and glad I did as it gets busy very fast. I'm not a Gin drinker and I made this known to the stafe on my arrival but I wanted to come the the London Gin Club because of my partner who loves gin. Anyways the who time spent at the London Gin Club was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful in guiding me to what gins to try so I was going to enjoy the time there and yes I did enjoy the whole thing. The inside is so cosy and the worm colour of the wooden floors and wall panels make it a lovely place to visit. So now I can say I'm converted gin is my go to drink of choice. Thank you London Gin Club.

I had accidentally made a reservation for the previous night when visiting The London Gin Club, but the friendly staff was able to find us a table in a few minutes regardless, even tough the place was packed. And I'm glad they did, because everything about the bar was great. Quick table service, great atmosphere and of course a stellar selection of gins. We had a couple of tasting sets, which came with expertly paired garnishes, ice and, in the case of the non-sloe tasting set, tonic. I especially recommend the Ferdinand Saar Dry Gin, as it is possibly the best I've ever had. All in all a great experience, and I'll be sure to visit again the next time I'm in London.

Sadly it's been closed now 7 months because of the delayed work on Cross rail which damaged the basement. The uncounted cost of our appalling record on delivering big engineering projects.

It’s the best place in London to drink gin. The team are passionate about gin and have carefully curated an excellent selection. They also have an excellent seasonal cocktail menu, as well as making all the classics, which they can personalise to your specific taste preferences. It’s one of the best bars in town and I can’t wait for them to reopen over the summer!

Superb gin bar. Huge menu of different gins with tasting notes and recommended accompaniments. The gins are not overly priced, which is refreshing. About 2/3 the price of an upmarket bar. The bar is small and often crowded so booking is necessary. Food is average, slow and expensive, so come for drinks and pop elsewhere to eat.

If you don't like gin, you've come to the wrong place 😂 If you do like gin, then this is your new favourite place. The selection is astounding, and I thoroughly recommend doing one of the tasting boards for an adventure in flavour. Otherwise, the gin list is broken down into key flavour groups with notes on flavour. There's also a long list of cocktails, and a short food menu. There's some pretty tasty non-alcoholic drinks as well if you're not in the mood to drink. The staff here are fantastic. They're well trained, happy and enthusiastic and really make the atmosphere one to remember and re-experience.

If you like G&T this is a great place to come for a drink. It's a cosy little spot down a side street in Soho. The gin list is extensive (almost overwhelmingly so!!). The staff are attentive and the drinks are perfectly mixed. Be aware that the place is small, so you might need to wait for a table and might have trouble walking in as a big group.

My favourite London bar. If you love gin, you'll love the London Gin Club. There are so many great gins to choose from, lovely and knowledgeable staff who can take you on you own gin journey, matching you to a gin (or gins) you will love. They also offer testing menus which are a great introduction to gin, and some fabulous cocktails. Always go for a negroni!

An absolute gem for anyone who loves gin. It's pretty much the only thing they serve, but with such variety and technique that it feels like a gin haven! Extensive gin collection, great tonics and all matched with appropriate (and interesting) garnishes. They have gin tasting menus, and I honestly didn't think there would be such a difference in taste from one gin to another. Absolutely love this place - you will need to book though as it's tiny.

This is definitely a gin bar with over 100 to choose from and very knowledgeable staff to advise if you need it. Served in the now ubiquitous large bowl glasses with huge chunks of ice (which do need to be smaller) and a choice of tonics. The venue obviously used to be a pub and there is just the ground floor so booking is essential as it's not large and very busy.

I was lucky enough to be staying around the corner from the Gin Club for a week and a half and so found the Gin Club pretty quickly. I learned more about gin in the several nights I spent there, and specifically what I did and didn't like. As a result, I've taken what I learned there and actually begun enjoying gin even more (and drinking it out of a proper glass.) The waitstaff are all so very kind and helpful, and I felt like a welcomed regular in no time at all. I didn't love my hotel a ton, but have already decided I'll stay there again on my next trip just so I can be so close to my fave spot. Love you Gin Club!!

I loved the winter cobbler tho it is a sweeter gin cocktail, tons of flavor and devine with the cinnamon and fig. I love the London Gin Club, it's been home to many happy memories. The enviroment is cosy and intimate and their accessible but slightly hidden location makes you feel like you are in on a little secret. The menu is fantastic and the staff is not only knowledgeble but extremely friendly. I can always count on the London Gin Club for a fantastic night and I can't wait for it to reopen in June!

We were attracted by the gin tasting menus that were on offer here. As Gin drinking amatures we'd though this would be a nice little place to check out. The huge selection of gins on offer were overwhelming and the tasting menus were perfect to try a selection of gins across the spectrum. The staff here were great and really knew their gins. The atmosphere was equally as amazing - really qwirky and cosy. Only downside is if you make a booking, you will need to specify the time you plan to be there for (e.g. 5 - 7) as when your time is up, you'll be handed your bill and asked to finish up as they have a huge turn over. Just make sure you plan your visit. Next time i think we'll plan to be there longer with a few more friends.

Always one of our highlights of a weekend in London. We attended a talk and tasting on the history of gin cocktails in the basement tasting room. A fun and informative session with plenty to drink! Well done to the hosts. The bar itself was as busy as usual with plenty of new gins to try.

If you like gin, this is the spot to come. Tucked down a Soho back lane there aren't a lot of seats but a reservation will see you get in. Be bold with your choices - it makes it more fun. Staff are great. It's annoying that they put an auto gratuity on and don't tell you about it. That fobbed me off. I like to have the choice. If you're looking for something afterwards head into the jazz district which is just two streets over.

Went for 'The History of Gin' tasting event. The women who presented the evening was extremely informative and engaging. The tasting I attended involved drinking straight gin (with ice), which I found quite difficult to stomach and would have preferred some tonic to have along side. Love gin? Love this bar. It's all gin, all the time. Not only can you pick your gin cocktail, but you can also pick the type of gin you'd like in it. It's set up with wooden tables and chairs and old style decorations. The service is fab (table service, mind you!) and it's a great place to come for a boozy night of G&T - as in gin and talking! :)

Best gin bar in Central London. Due to construction works for Crossrail its a little out of the way but well worth looking for. Lots of fabulous cocktails served in traditional glasses and massive array of gin. Getting a table is very difficult with a walk in so would def advise booking ahead.

Right. First piece of advice. Don't go looking for the London Gin Club, for you will never find it, what you will find however, is the Star At Night nestled away in Soho with gin-a-plenty inside. If it looks a little American and squidged in, you've come to the right place. Secondly, when they say it is a sharing menu, it really is, and you should go for it if you have a +1!...Big ole bowl glasses with rose petals, citrus peels, figs, rhubarb...all come with little instructions on what to add to which gin and how and when. It's basically the concoctions I used to make when I was teeny hidden behind our sofa with my cat, just with the addition of gin and a bit less crushed foliage, who knew. Really knowledgeable staff will navigate you around the generous menu; what makes a good bloody mary, what you can have for a g&t, what you can have if you don't actually like the taste of gin too much... It is a great date place, and even better for a girly evening. For goodness sake do book, or you will have to do what I did and ring them every 20 minutes from a bar nearby to see if they can fit you in...a bit stalker-like I know, but it all worked out well in the end. And I even have some terrible pictures to boot to remind me of my lovely, if slightly hazy, evening.
