Way way too packed. Seriously like Covid never even existed. Not a mask in sight. Packed out queues at the bar to get drinks and tables overflowing with people...A works leaving do that I wished I never went to sad to say. My choice, I left pretty quickly. Good to see a venue busy these day, but really not fit me.

Affordable drinks, really fantastic pint of beer with a great head. Shuffle board was great £10 for one hour was fine. Lacked atmosphere as not very busy on a Friday night.

Enjoyed my experience at the Loose Box. Very clean, large space. We were greeted at the door and sat at a table of our preference. The wait staff was kind, courteous, and attentive. Had the superfood salad and my husband had the roast pork belly with trimmings for the Sunday roast special. It appears that they customize the menu each day. We'll return!

Great service. Food consistently good. Nice dark stout. Needs barman to be taught how to pour and not served with a 3 Ince head! But small niggle. Overall a very nice place and we'll worth a visit for lunch.

My partner and I stopped here on route to Paddington after a weekend in London as we were looking for a good Sunday Lunch. We booked a table on the website and found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The Angus beef was very tender with crispy roasties and three or four different types of vegetables. My partner's pork belly was delicious too. A great place for Sunday Lunch and the cocktail menu looks like it'd be very popular with locals working in the offices around Westmindter during the week. Great location, great restaurant.

The staff offer professional service and the establishment seems clean and spacious, even when busy. Unfortunately the selection of meals and drinks is quite limited and on my last visit they were sold out of many of my choices. One thing that I found exceptional was that, although they had a problem with the lemonade on tap, one staff member actually went to the local shop to purchase some just to make the bitter shandy which I requested. I've yet to try the food but I will on another occasion; although the menu is limited the selection does appear appetising.

Well located pub/restaurant serving fairly priced, well prepared and presented pub-grub style food 12 hours a day with a decent beer selection on tap, classic and decent modern 'twist' cocktails. Staff have always been friendly and polite, I was in a bit of an emotional state before visiting here the first time and they cheered me right up. Will be back whenever I'm in the area. Sláinte! =D

I do love The Loose Box and visit frequently. They have great food and 2-4-1 cocktails Mon-Wed evenings. The bar staff are all friendly and good at what they do. The only slightly negative thing I would say is when booking an area, we've often been given spaces that were too small for the amount of people we booked for, meaning we were cramped in and had to spill out into other areas, which is not ideal.

This is a lovely pub, which is off the main roads and you don't have to stand outside the pub on the street as there is plenty of space in the outdoor area. The cocktails were really good! I really enjoy drinking here.

If you want to avoid insane civil servants wanting to talk to you about fish, then this is not the place to go. Otherwise it's one of the better pubs in this part of Westminster. Service is reasonably efficient and there is a broad selection of beer.

Great place to enjoy a knock off drink, any day of the week. Has excellent catering options for group bookings and a fantastic courtyard to enjoy the good weather. Staff are friendly, everything is really clean and you will always be able to find a seat - even when busy.

Go for the cocktails stay for the sharing boards. By one get one free cocktails during the week make this very reasonable. The staff are friendly but of course the quality of service can suffer when it gets busy on a Friday.

My work place hosted our 'Christmas - Do' here last year and we thought it was fabulous (especially the mushroom soup). Also, the staff were amazing, especially as I left my glasses there, and, returning the next, I found them securely put aside for me. Great place for a night out.

Good central Westminster location, spacious with indoor and outdoor options, good range of beers. Service can be slow, irrespective of how many staff or people waiting to be served. Along the lines of you start thinking about not bothering to wait any longer, and someone takes your order just in time.

It's ok just about says it. But the prices are way too high. I had vegetarian option, which had virtually no vegetables, just a few slivers of mushroom. It cost £12.50 and the portion was small. A salad to go with would have been an extra £4.50. Colleagues had fish and chips - which had so much batter it was unbelievable. Everything else was fine, apart from the food.

Don't let the unfortunate name deter you, this bar is perfectly passable, generic, middle of the road. Usually gets a good crowd of civil servants in, particularly toward the end of the week. Haven't tried the food. The decor and service is so bland as to be quite forgettable. But is that a bad thing?

Slightly pretentious bar, but more from the clientele and less from the staff, who I found very courteous. This used to be an old work haunt of mine when a little rougher round the edges. Quite like it as it doesn't get rammed and the beer choices are good. Nice after work venue

We are regulars at the Loose Box and had got very accostomed to the excellent service. However, a different story this time - there seems to be new management and the service was adequate at best. The quality of the food was excellent though but we would now think twice about coming back which is a shame as we have loved our times here.

An alright atmosphere for lunch - our group was served average sandwiches, but brilliant chips. Our server wasn't in the best mood and scowled at one of our group when he noted that the dish was not the one that was asked for.

Office Christmas Lunch. Really mean portions. A couple of tiny pieces of Duck, 2 small potatos. Have used Loose Box before, but this time round we felt let down, especially at £27.50 per head. When asked was all ok, I told waitress we thoght the portions were small - her only response was ' I've never heard that said before' - I find that hard to believe - almost everyone in our group of 25 was disappointed with portions. An apology would have been nice.
