Post First Aid training pints which were well deserved, and what a pleasant surprise this place was. Delicious pints, clean venue but the service, stunning! Nathan was a true example of a landlord. So nice to be served by someone that cares with honesty. Thank you Nathan!!

One of my favourite pubs in London. Good selection of beer, great pizzas and amazing staff. It tends to get busy quickly so arrive early, especially on those sunny days for a spot in the beer garden.

I like this pin! Good beer, nice atmosphere, big tables outside and a nice garden in the back! The food selection was maybe a bit disappointing for me, none of the dishes on the blackboard really tempted me, but luckily they also make pizzas and they are quite good. The bathroom could have been cleaner though!

Our (beef) Sunday roast experience here was very good, a pleasant surprise : fresh vegetables, tasty beef, you can see the staff preparing the dishes, they store lots of products in plain sight, so you can assume most of the dishes are homemade based... An old cat is wandering across the place, is s/he the owner :-) ?

Super nice pub. Friendly staff, friendly punters. There's a piano that I think anyone can use, some dude was laying down the good when I walked in and it made for a lovely atmosphere. I didn't get one but I spotted the table next to me get and pizza and I had mad food envy. Will be coming back to try another time!

The food here is amazing, it's all freshly prepared the kitchen is clean and highly visable and the menu is really nicely seasonal and changes every 3 weeks! They have good selection of ales and some ciders too. It's reasonably priced for London and I can't wait to go back!

Really enjoyed their food, especially pizzas. beer is good as well, and beer garden is really enjoyable in a somewhat warm day. They have a cat which is just a fluffy friendly lazy awesome gorgeous hairball!! Will return on and on!

Characterful and friendly local pub. Family-friendly, with kids allowed to eat there until 8 or 9. They recently installed a wood-fired pizza oven and their limited, changing list of pizzas are highly recommended: thin base, good size, tasty topics. The rest of the food is inventive and varied, if not quite up to 'full gastropub' levels. Beer range changes occasionally and is "OK" rather than wonderful. This is a pub to enjoy as a real local rather than as a destination across London. Recently the pub was under threat of closure and a local campaign was vociferous in its support. Thankfully that was successful!

The service can be utterly useless but the food and atmosphere make up for it. The food is seasonal and changes regularly. There are bar snacks and full meals as well as pizza. There is a reasonable selection of ales and wine. The pub has a really friendly atmosphere and there is a warm fire in winter.

Great beer selection, food could have been better considering it is Sunday , potatoes were undercooked and two slices of beef and some cabbage and carrots for 18 pounds it's a bit too much. Pints didn't come quite fast but still few minutes before the dishes Overall it was a good service in a cozy environment, I may come back for another beer or two ( or if you're fan there are two pages of only gin selection) but I'll look for another pub hungerwise!

Pleasant surroundings and friendly but efficient staff. We were glad of the space available for the baggage we happened to have with us and in another group one child arrived with a bicycle which was also accommodated. We enjoyed the beers. Sunday lunch was enjoyable with a wide range of choices. Roast potatoes could have been crisper and the Yorkshire pudding best avoided but the vegetarian option surprisingly tasty. We would return.

What a great evening we all had at the Lord Stanley, Camden, celebrating a surprise 60th birthday party for a close friend. The evening went much to quickly. A great atmosphere and fabulous gastro food and excellent selection of craft beers and other alcoholic drinks and cocktails. The staff were extremely friendly, hard working and very obliging, we were really impressed with their professionalism. The pub was very busy but the bar and catering staff managed admirably in their efforts to ensure that no customer was left, waiting or unattended for too long. time. Well done. Great pub and a terrific venue for a special occasion or just a evening out with friends and family.

Helpful staff and good pizzas. Love the cat/boss. We were able to bring our baby in a pram which some places don't allow. The only slight criticism is the homeless looking guy begging for drinks at the bar. He looked like he might have been part of the furniture and pretty harmless. The food and drinks prices were average for the area with above average food.

Lunch time you can find your self a good deal on pizza and a drink here. It's also nice and peaceful at this time. Dinner it really starts getting busy but it's a nice lively pub with a nice outdoor area. Cyclists can leave there bikes in the garden.

Decent food and pints, but slightly overpriced. The pizza was very nice, but didn't have as much pepperoni as I'd have expect to have got for the price, and the toppings weren't that well distributed. Otherwise, lovely venue for comedy upstairs and a standard London price for pints

This was our neighbourhood pub for a while, and I don't know if there could be a better one. Chill people, super relaxed vibe, and excellent pizzas. They even do comedy nights! It's really quite wonderful. You should stop by if you're in the area!

Somewhere between 3 and 4. Nothing really wrong with it, the vegetarian Sunday roast was probably better than average to be honest (but then the average is usually disappointing) - the vegetarian option was a stuffed mushroom, which flavourwise was good, but the overall plate didn't contain any protein. I continue to wonder why pubs and restaurants are so averse to using meat substitutes. On the plus side it came with roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding and gravy.

We went there only for drinks, so I can't say much about the food. The venue and ambience were good, and there was even a piano player performing live music. Unfortunately the bar staff wasn't really friendly, and the pub was filthy like it hadn't been cleaned for some days. Tables were sticky, and you could see dirt everywhere, so I wouldn't dare to eat here...

The pizza is good, and the starter hummus was great and homemade. (Original) Super endroit typique. Le personnel est sympa et agréable. (Translated) By chance we came to this great pub on a visit to London. Facility is really nice, and in good weather you can sit without problems in the small Biergartem before loading. The food is great and although it is a pub, there was a great selection of wines. The wait staff was super friendly and introduced us to the history of English pubs. The Lord Stanley is a bit out of the center of London, but worth a visit! (Original) Durch Zufall sind wir in dieses tolle Pub bei einem Besuch in London gekommen. Einrichtung ist wirklich sehr schön, und bei gutem Wetter kann man auch ohne Probleme vor dem Laden in dem kleinen Biergartem sitzen. Das Essen ist klasse und auch wenn es ein Pub ist, es gab eine Klasse Auswahl an Weinen. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hat uns auch etwas in die Geschichte englischer Pubs eingeführt. The Lord Stanley liegt etwas abseits vom Zentrum Londons, ein Besuch ist es dennoch auf alle Fälle wert!
