This pub may need a little tender-loving-care to the exterior, but the interior is really nice and comfortable. Greene King, but both Timothy Taylor Landlord & Tribute were available; my Landlord was top notch! Very friendly manager and staff, would definitely recommend.

🚇 Kings Cross 🍺 £4.85 San Miguel ❤️ Now this pub isn’t the most beautiful building in London, but for what this pub lacks in looks it definitely makes up for in hospitality. . This was my last stop on a crawl from Clerkenwell to Kings Cross. At the time of visiting in July last year, there were Covid rules in place and I can’t imagine how hard it must have been managing a pub with some punters three parts to the wind and a wee bit less understanding of the rules a pub must follow to keep it’s doors open. The Manager here was so on the ball and in control of what was going on and all done with a broad smile. As this was my last pub of the day, I normally grab a bite to eat to soak up the days slurpidge. I ordered a chicken burger and chips which was tasty and cost under a tenner, the manager made his way over to make sure the food was to my liking and asked if I need anything to let him or any one of the team know. My pint was decent enough and not overly priced at just under a fiver. This is split level boozer that is comfortable enough and I must doff my cap to the fact there is a proper pub carpet here. There is also has a small partially covered outside space at the rear for those wanting some rays in the warmer months. . There are some notable beautiful pubs close by which may look and feel more attractive than the @lucas.arms but what the pub lacks in beauty is definitely makes up for In service and value.

Nice old fashioned pub. Not a very vast menu but food was nice with the exception of the egg that I had with Ham and Chips. I am sorry to say the egg was cooked to the last inch of its life. It looked more like a place mat that is how flat and hard it was. Sorry if it wasn't for the egg the pub would have got five stars ...

Hubby and I stumbled into this pub on a Saturday evening. Nice pub, not too busy (when we were there) which was great for us. Lovely staff and customers. We had a great time mingling with the locals. Food is very good and the portions are big, so make sure you are hungry. We had the pulled pork nachos and the beef and bone marrow pie. The range of beers and Gins is very good and the prices are decent. I recommend the elderflower gin 😉

I visited this establishment last week with my wife (omnivore), daughter (vegan) and granddaughter (vegetarian). The menu contained something for everyone, and the two younger (fussy) members of our quartet were most impressed with their pies. A good range of drinks were on offer to. We have no hesitation in recommending the Lucas Arms to anyone who happens to be in that part of London.

We stumbled across this little place while staying near King's Cross in August. Nice seating outside if the weather is good. We ended up staying for karaoke and were there till midnight. It's the second time I've been here and again it didn't disappoint. This time I had the salt beef and cheese toastie that come with a side order of chips and a drink all for £7.49 - an absolute bargain. Half of the sandwich is in my bag for the OH ....... surprisingly it was too much for me 😄

Nice friendly pub, went for a retirement party and the staff had put on a lovely spread of food. Bringing it out in drips so there was always something hot. Is also a good distance from the train station. So can easily pop in before you travel. Also has a nice outdoor area, sheltered for the smokers. Had a good few real ales too but unfortunately no CAMRA discount.

A pretty standard pub for the area but there's a nice little outdoor courtyard which is good to sit in on a nice day. It doesn't get the sun but it's more relaxing than being out on the street. Staff here are really friendly and if you like gin then you'll love it - there is a massive choice!

Stopped in here because it was close to our hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and happy to recommend some cool and unique things to check out while in London. They let us sample some of the beers and ciders on tap so that we ordered something that we would like. Overall it was a great place to grab a bite and a pint for a couple of jet lagged travelers.

This place is nearly always buzzing. Nice staff, good food, beer garden and plenty of tellys when the football is on. Best of all is the comedy club, 'the Chuckle Deli', every last thursday of every month. It's a place for comedians who are just starting out on the amateur circuit. Always a great laugh.

Pub lunch - large portion, nice piece of meat, well cooked, overly seasoned. Good selection of whiskies (I don't drink beer). Doubles as hotel/guest house so this probably explains tourist prices even though it is hidden from the main noise of kings X. Has the "naked wood" with pseudo chique look. Like some of the Islington riche prefer. Spirits over priced. Bar staff pleasant but inexperienced. Not favoured by the knowledgeable locals. There are better, cheaper, less pretentious pubs within 5 minutes walk.
