Convenient location when meeting in town. Great restaurant upstairs with good service and delicious pies. The veggie pie and mash with gravy had a great winter yumminess. Good value for money and the clientele when I visited were very pleasant even after a few pints down them.

This pub was wonderful. They have a noisy, friendly tap room downstairs and a quiet dining room upstairs. My husband and I each got a pie accompanied by vegetables. They were quite tasty, especially the vegan mushroom pie. So many restaurants and pubs have run out of the vegan option by the time I arrive, it was a pleasant surprise to order then receive this beautiful dish.

This is my new fave pub! The staff: Mark, Jade, Diane, and William are all brilliant. The food is really great and all the beers are kept in the best possible condition. You might find a few MPs here as it has a division bell but apart from that it's first-rate 😂 Highly recommended on all fronts.

Happy to have stumbled upon this place as close to my hotel. Great selection or beers, gins and savory pies...we tried a little of all three. Place was full. Found it odd that there was no table service. Overall environment and prices should have dictated not having to get up and order everything from the bar.

Food was alright but to me the food wasn't fantastic. Had the fish and chips and 10oz sirloin steak. Fish and chip was hot and crispy but bland. Steak was a total miss as you can tell it was probably frozen before and was dry. No seasoning or sauce as well. I know that this place specialize in pie so probably would have been more impressed if I ordered that. Service was good no complaints there.

Dont normally write a review but this place deserves it. Central London, 10 minutes from the houses of parliament and I just had 2 courses and a drink for less than £25! Good bear and lovley dining room upstairs. Burger was clearly very fresh and stunning. If you are close by and looking to eat give this place a try.

A great little pub with a great selection of beer. The food is good too with a big main menu selection alongside their excellent pie menu. Can get crowded in the evenings like every pub but you won't wait long to be served. A good honest proper pub which is a rare thing in London now!

Pretty standard for a Westminster pub. Very small with limited room inside, but plenty of space to sprawl in the summer sun. Fairly normal prices for Westminster - approx £5 a pint, with cheapest bottles of house wine starting at £17. Not the place for an atmospheric drink, but good for colleagues post work. Would recommend tourists and families avoid at peak times.

Stopped by for lunch and it was lovely and cosy with a great atmosphere and welcoming staff. They had a separate menu just for pies and so much choice. We both settled for the fish pie which was delicious, would highly recommend. The mulled cider was really tasty too, perfect for a cold winter day.

Typical English pub. Heavy political influence due to it proximity to Downing St. and parliament. Stay close to 2300 and you will definitely enjoy the lushes of the area endulging and commedering the environment, as they should in a pub! Escape upstairs for a complete change in atmosphere with a full bar and quiet dining experience in the cozy second story. Fish and chips were exactly as expected. Just perfect relaxing bite upstairs or quick pull of the draft and some quick talk with locals downstairs.

Situated a short walk from Milbank the Marquis serves food and has a large choice of drinks, noted for it's real ale and Gin's.

With friendly staff, delicious food and some parliamentary history this is a nice place to go for a couple of drinks after work. However, with it's small size you should be ready to engage in the age old tradition of standing on the pavement and braving the winter weather.

Following a demonstration in the capital, we felt the need for a drink before the coach trip home. What an excellent find The Marquis was. An excellent range of beers an interesting menu and years of political history. It has a "division bell" used to call M.Ps back to the house of commons. Had we had the time we would have fully explored the menu. The pub is part of a large chain but had the look and feel of a small independent.

(Translated) After seeing Westminster Abbey, we let ourselves be advised by Google Maps reviews and ended up in this typical London pub a little away from the hustle and bustle of the Parliament area, but only a 5-minute walk from the Abbey. The ground floor is a traditional pub and meals are served upstairs, although there are only 8 or 10 tables. The menu is relatively extensive with the typical fish and chips, hamburgers, sandwiches and typical English dishes, but I especially recommend the traditional English empanadas, chicken, verse or lamb served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Really delicious. You can enter with children and the price is not excessive for being in central London.
