Reviews of The Minories
I. R.
Stumbled across this place after walking across Tower Bridge. The Minories was delightfully tucked under a railway viaduct which added to the already welcoming atmosphere.
The food was very tasty and the staff we welcoming and friendly. I will definitely return for a few more pints and the mandatory fish and chips.
A. D.
Always a delight to be back here. Amazing interiors, great Beer garden, decently decorated for Halloween this visit and a good selection of drinks. The staff are very polite, although service tends to become a bit slow when they're close to 75% capacity. Nevertheless, would definitely recommend the place if you're on the lookout for a good pub experience.
K. P.
Very nice venue in the bridge arches and good atmosphere. Interesting old church style "confession" stall!
Shows sports events on multiple screens.
A bit slow service, though there was a rugby game on.
The "Sloppy Joe" burger was very tasty, totally recommend it, sweet potato chips also good!
Garden is also nice when the weather is good as there are plenty of tables with some under cover with screens and heaters too.
Have come to this pub on several occasions.
J. F.
Fantastic food, drink and atmosphere. This place is like a tar dis, it is quite large inside, various different areas including a beer garden.
Love the order / pay by app, using the MyPub app, so easy and works really well. Staff are really professional, helpful and food, drinks arrive really quickly.
The fish and chips was good quality, decent sized portion. Tried the spicy cauliflower for a starter, amazing! One that I will have again for sure.
K. K.
Nice bar near tower of London. It is located under the tube, I can hear tube sound under the rail. Nice vibe pub.
W.
Great pub with some good beer and food. The lighting outside was very nice.
M. U. N.
Great location, Nice boozer, Staff under the current situation were great! However, can i please show you how to pull/serve a pint of Guinness? It was not good. No head on it. Please don't assume that all your customers are foreign tourists there to look at the Bridge and Tower. Thank you. M.
C. H.
This is a great pub tucked behind the Tower of London.
I've only ever been when it's been quiet, so cannot comment on how busy it gets. But you get a friendly welcome and there is always a great selection of beers on offer!
Well worth a visit.
R.
Fantastic pub in a great location and with loads of space inside and out. Unobtrusive screens are plenty for sports nights and the decor and choice of drinks are great. With a small outside bar in the back beer garden they seem to have it all covered. Lovely bar!
M. L.
At out Christmas lunch the food was very good, with an excellent vegan option. The staff were really helpful without being intrusive. Truly a great place for a celebration.
Y. S.
Excellent food served prompt service. We ordered for a classic fish and chips and a chicken wrapped in bacon. Each dish's portion size was huge and both dishes were well prepared and delicious. The chicken unfortunately was not served hot and was just about warm which was a downer however the ambience and our overall satisfaction will bring is back soon.
I now work just across the street from The minories and hope to visit often.
M.
Friendly staff, decent selection of beers. Outdoor area with lots of heaters and tvs showing sport quite special too. Just very expensive.
R.
I always enjoy coming to this pub. Spacious garden, great view of the screens and inside decor packed with character. Food is always delicious, a lot on offer, personally for me the cod and chips is definitely my favourite. The staff are all terrific too. Always friendly, quick and efficient with their service and management will always take time and give you a warm welcome!
E. V.
Excellent choice of beers, good customer service not so good starters.
Many TV to enjoy football or rugby. The place to go for a couple of pints around Tower Hill.
V. G.
Love this pub !! Inside looks amazing and it's well located. We were lucky enough to get a table outside under the hut (there're even heaters !). They even have Estrella Damm on tap, one of the reasons why I keep coming back. Food is also very good, many choices and big servings. Good quality/price. In addition, it's really easy to order from the app for food and drinks. Waiters are also very nice. I recommend. And I'll come back for another pint of Estrella ! Cheers team
A. J.
Great selection of beers and other drinks and good food too. Reasonable prices for London. Worth a go!
N. C.
Long bar set under the railway arches, with various rooms off the main drag. Surprisingly large outdoor space with booths and tables and many many TV screens showing sport. Friendly staff and decent Guinness. Food looked good, but didn't have any. Nice option when close to the Tower of London
M. S.
Great little gem of a pub . Fantastic beer garden
M. S.
After supporting at The London marathon we were tired, thirsty and hungry!
Quick service and although the app wasn't easy it was quicker to get served at the bar.
Great music playing, although too loud in the little alcove we were seated in.
Ladies toilets were well used and a little messy with a q. Marathon was the reason I feel.
S. M.
Great Pub, Friendly Staff, Great Beer garden with plenty of TV's to watch the Sport
D. B.
I just wanted a steak for within my spend allowance while on business in London, I have to say this steak looked and tasted better than I've had from many a high end restaurant! Great little pub, with a good range of food and drink, at a nice price point, pleasantly surprised here! Also plenty screens for sports, and something which sets it apart for me is the rumble of the tube up above every now and again. Highly recommend if your staying close by for example at citizenM.
P. C.
Popped in for evening meal, it was very nice. Staff behind bar, very friendly and quick to serve you.
H. E.
Lovely pub, lots of seating the small outside space is amazing, the toilets need updating though
C.
One of the best pubs I have visit. The whole staff are awesome, great food and drinks for a fair price. And the environment is amazing, good vibes. I will return many times to it. Please don't go so I can always book a space hahahaha
J. C.
Amazing space, and a great place for football or large groups. Huge inside with many rooms, TVs, and projectors, and a large outside space with TVs at the tables. The menu is a bit all over the place but the food is good
t. h.
Great pub near Tower of London. Reasonably priced food (for London) Great for watching live sport.
n. p.
Great night. Pretty busy but not too busy! Drinks were all fine. Been coming here on and off for many years! Great outdoor space when the sun is out and it's not raining!
J. W.
Clean, friendly atmosphere, good music, food reasonable although did expect chunky fish fingers and not usual supermarket type ones that was slightly disappointing but a lesson learned. Chicken wings and chorizo croquettes are too tasty
P. E.
16 years been coming to London and stay a stone throw from The Minories, we have eaten and drank here every year. Good choice of beers and the the food is good.
M. S.
Oh my pie! The lady at the till wasn't kind or helpful, but the food! I had a terrible (dry, almost no filling) pie at Mother Mash last week, and I really wanted a GOOD pie! The guy at the counter (since the girl was of no help) assured me the pie (chicken leek brie!) was not dry. And boy was it not! It was creamy heaven from straight above! And came with green veggies which I've been missing in the UK! I'm in heaven! I will return here every time I visit London!
Also pictured, the sticky toffee pudding which is out of this world! And only £3!
M. I.
Nice pub. There is wide variety of 🍺 s. The slow cooked pie is amazing. The only downside is that it is self-service pub.
C. M.
Excellent position, awesome bar with friendly atmosphere. But the male toilets where shocking.
j. h.
Lovely bar great atmosphere. Garden area is really good . Booths with Tv's. Amazing Burgers . Would recommend end you to come here
G. H.
Fabulous. Quirky, quaint and atmospheric. Great fresh home brewed beers, lovely outside area and little cabins for eating.
We went for breakfast and came out feeling as though we'd had a feast. The full English was superb, the avocado on toast which not as huge as the FE, was super tasty and original.
I can imagine this is extremely popular in the evenings and I can see why. Plenty of nooks and crannies to have some private conversation, and an interesting lunch / dinner menu.
Lovely pub!
T. H.
Fab food, beer and atmosphere.
m. B.
Nice pub. Unusual interior. Had wings and a pint
S. U.
Good beer and good atmosphere. Plenty of covered outdoor space so doesnt feel too crowded. Worth a visit
B. T.
This is a great place to grab a bite of food and a drink in London. Located just under the Tower Gateway entrance. Affordably priced. Great little pub.
M. N.
Absolutely amazing staff and absolutely amazing service. They truly respected an Afghan hero. The pint was fantastic.
G.
Really good service, tasty food and a reasonable range of beers.
I absolutely loved the location and being able to watch a soccer match during my meal but unfortunately Manchester City won that game.
B. C.
Relatively cheap pub food in walking distance from London Tower, warm and cozy atmosphere and sound vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Staff unfortunately didn't seem very cohesive, one of the dishes we ordered was charged twice. Thankfully we were refunded but still shouldn't have happened to begin with. The round tables were also peculiarly small and fitting four meals and drinks on them was a challenge.
M. K.
Inviting atmosphere, great staff . Good food and drink quality. Beer Garden with lots of TV s ,great for sports . TV screens every where
B. O.
Been a couple of times. A bit rough around the edges (e.g. toilets) but I like it and has a great beer selection
S. M.
Nice place with good atmosphere. Visited twice in two weeks. Good beer and good food. Tried fish and chips, scampi and chips, peri peri chicken and smothered chicken.
C. G.
Good food, wide choice of beer, and excellent, friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We ate here on several occasions as there was a good choice of food on the menu to cater for all tastes. The breakfasts were excellent value and we did not have to wait long to be served - (with a baby in the party that was good news!!)
S. W.
Loved this place. Super friendly and helpful staff, gluten free options for the food, and their meantime brewery beers are excellent
Yes it's a "sports" bar but you are not obliged to watch their big screens.
J. S.
What a venue that is! Great atmosphere and so many screens to watch the football! They have a huge garden area with screens in each booth too! If you're looking for somewhere to support your favourite team this is the place to go! The GM is quite a character too and makes some quality margaritas.
A. C.
Popped in without a booking, as a group of 5 and managed to get a table. Decent lagers and great food.
R. M.
Always pop in when ever down in London
Great food and drinks at reasonable prices, atmosphere warm and welcoming 👍
C.
This place is simply a Diamond in the City. It’s 5 Star all the way. Top quality management team, extremely friendly & helpful staff, the best beer garden in town & a great choice of food and drink. Don’t miss out on a great all round experience if you are in the area. Thanks Team for your 1st Class service.

Cool pub under the tracks. It's much bigger inside than you'd think. Fantastic burger deals.
D. D.
Nice pub for night out, has plenty seats indoors and outdoors. Sports pub. Dogs are allowed outdoors only.
C. B.
really lovely building, makes you feel like you are are experience history underneath the historical train tracks. Garden outside is great for those who enjoy a cigarette while having a drink and really good mood. Good place for a quick pint while looking at nearby sites.
C. B. C.
Excellent beers with excellent food and service with a good price. Good for couples, friends or happy hour. Order the sharer plait and you will not regret.
K. P.
Lovely establishment. Always enjoy a cold beer in here. Garden is amazing, screens all around to watch sport. Friendly staff and decent prices
P. F.
Ran out of the pies AND Sunday Roast by 7pm!! Fish and chips was ok, beef burger was ok. Overall look of pub is great with vast beer selection and amazing interior (basically built under a bridge) but is let down slightly by food availability and quality
c. b.
Lovely cozy pub..Good food..fantastic outside beer garden!

❤️ The pub is situated under railway arches just up the road from The Tower of London. You can hear the rumble of trains above your head as you enjoy a pint in the traditionally decorated pub. There's a great selection of pies and craft beers and multiple screens if you want to catch a game.
📊 Information correct on visiting 08/09/17
J. B.
Lovely little pub with a real rustic theme. Love the exposed brick. Only criticism was that they turned the football on. We left when the football fans emerged.
A. C.
Cracking venue! Popped there for a drink with friends, we had a wonderful time. Great choice of food, vegan options available as well. Friendly and helpful staff, great customer service, the guys go above and beyond.
J. N.
I'm adding this note the morning after a very wet motorbike ride back home to Bristol last night, (it was all I could do to tick the stars last night)... the pub had a really nice feel about it but I have 2 regrets - 1) I couldn't stay longer and 2) I didn't have time to try the food (but the plates I saw on their way to tables looked really good). Next time I'm 'up London' I'll the definitely pop in. Thanks.
I. W.
It’s your typical four star London pub! They sell a wide range of beers for a wide range of prices. The pub is quite large and it broken up nicely into different sections. The decor a bit different to the more traditional pubs, and there are plenty of TVs for sport, including some outside I think. The pubs gets quite busy at weekends, particularly when football is on but is worth a visit.
K. Q.
Nice pub and really friendly service, the fish and chips were amazing!
S. D.
Had a lovely bottle of ale last week. It was sweet but very dark. I cant remember the name. Great place to visit. It was a lovely atmosphere and vibe and i had a great few hours meeting new people.
C. A.
Nice pub, really good selections of beers
M. R.
Food very nice 🤩 Staff were amazing specially Maria !
S. M.
Watched the rugby here, great atmosphere, loads of screens.
D. R.
Nice pub and staff but if you were after spirits this place is quite pricey
C. B.
Nice place, good fish & chips, good beer.
M. D. V.
I've there a couple of times before and after CO-VID and I have to say that I was never disappointed. Food is amazing especially the Sharers and the bartenders and waiters are really patient and friendly. The price could be a bit low but It's a place where definetily I will be back. Keep it up!
V. I.
Such a beautiful bridge!
T. Y.
Been several times. First time since Covid. Nice pub by Tower Gateway, with a nice outdoor seating Beer Garden (has screens too for sport). Had a good selection of Beers on tap incl. One of my favourites, Beavertown. Ate snacks - nacho sharers were nice. No complaints. (Though £9 !). Only small small complaint is/was could have more outdoor heaters
B. C.
Beautiful pub beer garden and the food is OUTSTANDING! you have to try their wings are sharing platters omg
Only 4 stars because the My Pub app they use is the worst thing I've ever used. Almost impossible to order anything and so difficult to pay with.
C. b.
Great spot with plenty of space both inside and outside. Went for breakfast one morning and got a full English breakfast. Food quality was very good and staff with very helpful. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere inside.
C. D.
What an amazing night out, unique venue with a great outside area. Cracking for watching sport and the staff are epic
z.
A good place. Staff very pleasant. Lovely outdoor courtyard.
I. A.
8 TVs in the new garden outside, 13 TVs inside and 2 projectors, what else do you need to watch your favourite sport while enjoying a fresh pint??
J. M.
Had a great evening in there. Food was good great atmosphere and even the rain didn't cause a problem. Enjoyed it so much am going back on Saturday x definately recommend.
D. N.
Big City pub. Handy for Tower Hill. Some kind of free house, with range of beers on handpumps and Meantime served from tanks. Haven't seen that dispense system for decades. Food also served. Under railway arches of Fenchurch Station and a little damp and drippy on a wet day!
N. C.
This place is stunning. The inside is full of character and the garden is outstanding. The staff are friendly and it had a warm and welcoming feel. Prices are good too!
M. J.
Decent pub with great in house brewery. Liked the food but service was very slow at the bar. Vk would not have been pleased
M. H.
Great venue for a night cap, bigger than we thought and a great selection of drinks
M. D.
Very good, atmosphere, food and drink. What more could you ask for.
C. H.
Really lovely pub for a drink and food. Friendly staff and shot girls!
S. N.
Great atmosphere, for relaxing and watching football ⚽️
G. L.
Great choice of beers and friendly, food is delicious.
M. F.
A bit quiet but a nice pub with friendly staff
J. F.
Nice English style pub with good beers and food there is no table service but it’s simple to order and the food was delicious!
S. W.
Large venue , didn't know the prices as our friends bought drinks for us.
J. B.
It's difficult to pass any real critique at the moment as things aren't really normal. Having to order with the app from the table was problematic (and I don't think we were the only take with problems), and although there were some people they're was no real atmosphere. The menu seemed a bit limited and not many staff. However the staff were very friendly and these are not normal times.
S. B.
Perfectly located and reasonable lunch stop. Just what we needed for a break.
K. S.
Great pub, good food and a roomy beer garden. Will return.
T. V.
Very cool spot, fish and chips were pretty good. Pub is right under the train so every few mins you can hear it riding over
P. S.
Interesting pub with small beer garden up from the tower. Good crowd and nice atmosphere as we come out of lock down
M. C.
I love this place right under an old railway tunnel, amazingly done up. Great atmosphere, we had some delicious food here a tapas platter, we love to sit at different tables each time, such a big place- drinks are overly expensive though I've never paid £8.50 for a glass of Pimms before! Hence the 4star rating
S.
Well run pub. Covid precautions sensible and efficiently applied. Good outdoor space. Oh and the beer is well served and for the area fairly priced. Used to come here pre covid and glad we popped in, reminded me it's a decent pub.
T. M. C.
Very welcoming pub/restaurant. Lively atmosphere. Worth a visit.
P. O.
Difficult to find but garden nice and secluded. Beer and service good. Not much sun outside as under arch but interesting stone floor in main part of pub.
M. Z.
Good food... Unfortunately it's frozen chips and veg but great atmosphere, gorgeous place and good beer choice.
K. W.
Great place to grab a drink, especially in summer
A. I.
Really nice pub with a big garden and plenty of tv's to watch sports.
Staff is welcoming and food is great...will come back!
G. N.
First day in London, with beer and fish and chips..... best way to geht happy 😀
Greetings from Austria !
G. S.
We were opposite this pub while staying in London for a few days great atmosphere and friendly staff
G. R.
Good food, good beers, friendly and attentive staff. I was pleased to see that they have taken all the necessary steps to keep customers safe during this difficult time. Love the beer garden. Will definitely visit again.
S. W.
We visited at a quiet time of day. Good space throughout the pub. Great beer garden. Good selection of drinks available
M. M.
Great pub with the underground feeling. Like a hidden brewery. A lot of seating space and good choice for a drink and food.
G. S.
Easy to get to, nice big garden, and very quick service. And a decent beef sandwich. £7 for a Neck Oil a bit much though. Nevertheless, would recommend!
H. G.
Great pub with lots of screens for the football
B. S.
This place is really neat trains roll right above your head, building is old they brew there own beer. Food is great and it is always hoping!
G. F.
Not my favourite club, the bar staff are friendly and the drinks are usually cheap UNLESS there's an event.
W. L.
Close to the bridge~ great bar for a quick drink and meal!
F. B.
Large pub well located by tower gateway station. Good selection of beers and the chips were fine!
T. G.
Excallent location and great DJ.
P. L.
Nice place for a beer close form the tower bridge area.
S. L.
Lovely garden area with lots of servers on so no problem getting a drink. The lovely blonde lady on the door was so welcoming too.
S. H.
Decent boozer , nice atmosphere & very nice staff
A. L. (.
Really love it! Great food, especially sandwiches, burgers and sweet potato fries!
M. C.
pleasant atmosphere, good pint and meals. highly recommend
j. m.
Nice, cosy, reasonably priced, large pub under a railway bridge. Good for watching sports too. Chips are pants though.
C. A.
Lovely outside space, great atmosphere, minimal waiting times to be served also good spot to watch sports
M. S.
Nice spot don't sit under the black plastic or drops will fall upon you
C. N.
Great pub with good ale selection
W. B.
Nice big pub with a nice garden, Staff very friendly, range of real ales, I had Hobgoblin Gold and sat in the garden with the sun shining lovely, they also do food.
T. K.
Great for watching sport. Good beer choice.
J. R.
Nice little back garden, staff were all attentive and cheery. Good selection of beers and food ok although was sad they'd run out of chicken swarma, obviously very popular.
See you again soon
N. M.
Great selection of beers and delicious Pies and sticky toffee pudding! :)
T. B.
Was a very busy night , didn't have much bar staff and when they did serve us they was rude
C.
Love this place! Perfect balance of traditional pub and buzzing social bar. Inside is charming with tasteful old style design and exposed brick of the underside of the bridge. The outside area is huge with lots of seating and nice decor, including heated booths with TVs. A favourite for after work drinks.
A. L.
Fantastic place great food and drinks really nice staff
G. P.
Great place. I was looking for somewhere to watch football as I was in London for 3 days with work but obviously alone in a hotel of an evening. Somebody directed me towards The Minories on day 1 and I came back all 3 nights. Plenty screens showing multiple games, a good pint and good atmosphere.
V. C.
This is one of the best pubs in the area for sport. It has a fantastic outside space which has numerous screens to watch the football or cricket from. On a warm summers day or is great, many of the other pubs in the area have nowhere near the outside space that is provided here. Beer is priced ok and is decent. It's a meantime pub, so can't go won't with a meantime lager.
C. L.
Decent pub. Really good beer garden.
C. G.
Food was really good. Higher price than most things are worth. Kids menu was a great deal and fish and chips was good deal. They got sides wrong on three of our meals which is why it's not 4 stars. 5 stars would have been if the prices were more reasonable. The ambiance was great. Very relaxing.
B. B.
Its ok.
Comment to reply of owner: cleaning (esp. outside) could be better, staff was slow to respond, volume outside (for a Sunday afternoon lunch) too loud. Furniture outside should get an upgrade. Good cocktails, beers, nice atmosphere inside.
C. m.
Not very busy but signs of normality, had a pub lunch and 3 very welcome pints of cider
Clean, tidy, attentive staff and food okay.
Try it
K.
Nice pub, friendly near the tower of London
S. L.
Gone downhill pleasant environment but terrible service
G. B.
Great place to stop for a quick drink before you catch the tube. Good location, great out door area with plenty of TV screens everywhere. Haven't tried the food menu yet, but looks reasonable.
C. S.
Nice pub which is somewhat spoilt by the tour groups that are sent here and take over the bar each night for their one drink.
Newly renovated beer garden looks great and increases the space and has many TVs for football watchers.
Always a favourite if in the area.
K. C.
Best pub to eat wings and watch footy
A. W.
Best eggs benedct in London! Thank you chefs! Perfect hollandaise. Great service. See you soon :-)
e.
A nice pub with friendly staff
M. T.
Lovely pub, loads of screens for sports lovers and a decent sized beer garden. Will definitely visit again
J. D.
My mate and I stumbled across this place on a Friday evening, and we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the fish and chips, and I certainly would return for it — paired with a pint. The atmosphere is unique and more spacious than one would imagine. I was a bit disappointed by the beer selection.
M. E.
Nice pub. Good selection of beers and not too expensive either. Less than a fiver a pint. Interesting decor and underneath the railway line so very cool when trains go over. Had screens to watch the football on and has an outside seating area also.
w.
nice pub under the arches with a well fitted out beer garden
H. D.
Watched a soccer match and had some bangers and mash with a good beer!
A. S.
Excellent what a pleasant find food was great
L. M.
Great little pub not to far for tower hill station. Can get very busy but has a great beer garden with loads of seating. Good selection of ales and beers. Meantime looks like be it main drink in there.
A. B.
This is a really solid option if you need a pub in this area. Sound food, decent drink range on tap, friendly staff and tonnes of seating. Also shows sport on a lot of TVs without it having that 'sports pub' vibe. Why only 3 stars? It's a perfectly good pub, it's just not somewhere I'd travel across town for.
C. S. P.
Great pub and mostly friendly staff. One guy looks like he'd rather sneeze on you than serve you, all the rest are lovely. Reasonable prices and food is good. Training required on how to pour a Guinness though.
S. H.
Really good afternoon last Saturday with 5 mates, service was easy via the MyPub app. The food was really nice. Felt very safe.
l. s.
Watched a Women’s World Cup game here and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere with the rumble of the trains running nearby. It is a little pricey but order in pitchers to watch the game and it isn’t to bad. Also, those trains I mentioned. It is super easy to meet up with a large group of friends from many parts of London.
Y. E.
Tried to go here the first time but didn't realize football games were on and couldn't find a seat (which tells you it is a good bar to watch football). Went a couple of days later and tried to get the mac and cheese but they were out (which tells you the mac and cheese is good). So I got the double steak pie and mash, which was very good in a thick brown gravy. Of course they had good bets, and I sat in the large outdoor patio which has booths that each have their own tv, nice! I recommend.
D. M.
Good pub and quick service.
Nice place..
W. B. (.
It's in a cool spot, I'll give it that. And, the interior has a good pub ambiance. However, we had a hard time getting bar service at our table, they expect you to trundle up to the bar for your drinks. I won't hold it against them. The food is standard pub grub. Nothing special, but it will meet your pub needs in London.
P. P.
So I stumbled across this bar a few days ago. Might've been Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm not sure anymore. I didn't order any food as I just went to see my friends (who ordered by the way, I stole them a few BBQ wings which were really nice), but I decided to order myself a beer. I went inside and got a little bit overwhelmed with the choice of beer. The girl that served me approached me a few seconds after I got into the bar. I was unsure of what I was going to drink, so I asked her about her recommendation. Instead of just dropping a random name of a beer, she asked me about what kind of beer I like. After giving her a few clues about my likings, she recommended me a beer - Camden. And she got it right. She was smiling all the time, was really respectful, and provided excellent service. It was a pleasure having a conversation with her and she's a really cheerful and talkative person. She told me she comes from Poland when I asked about it, so maybe that will give you a clue about who I'm talking about. I hope she can teach everybody how to smile in such a sincere way even after a long day of work. I will be definitely coming back!

Food is great... Same goes to the environment too...
H. W.
Decent pub under railway arches with a fantastic beer garden especially given the location
S. S.
A fantastic pub.. Great outdoor space... Very atmospheric
J. B.
Great location with huge garden in city, the staff is always very welcoming and going extra mile to make the time more enjoyable.
J. K.
Nice little pub with some nice grub. Beer is pricey, but it generally is in London. Comes as shock to those that aren't local when they says it's £6.
Plenty of TV screens dotted about for those that want to watch the latest game.
Will definitely pop back if I'm passing.
J. D.
This is a lovely pub - they've recently refurnished the exterior garden, which although is near a main road is looking really lovely if you're an outdoor drinking fan. Quite large area too for group drinks.
Inside is quite dingy and gets quite busy if there's football on but if you are a sports fan, again there's TONS of screens around to watch from (including outdoor screens).
All in all a great place to hang out with a group of friends. I wouldnt class as a great date spot though...
A. B.
Very good food staff very helpful well worth a visit would high recommended 👍
P. G.
The Sunday Roast lamb was superb! Tasty and fall off the bone tender with far more than I could eat mashed potatoes & gravy, roasted potatoes and mixed veg. Absolutely worth every star. Cozy, fun atmosphere and very reasonably priced.
F. V.
Great place for beer and sports. The food is average.
P. R.
So much to eat, so much to drink. Great place for a Great Time
M. M.
A good pub with a great outdoor area with a lot of covering and heating.
Only problem is that the outdoor bar closes way too early and the inside bar is too small so it takes forever to be served.
Prices should be lower is the service doesn't match it.
G. F.
A very busy pub but with fantastic speed of service, you never have to wait long for a drink here.
T. W.
On the plus side, this place has a fantastic and unique atmosphere with a taste of Old London. On the negative side, the service is average and the food isn't exactly impressive. I asked for a guiness (the tap was present), but they didn't have any of it left. For lunch, I had a pie, which tasted quite dry and boring, likely because there was more dough than actual meat/sauce.
V. G.
We ate here 3 times when visiting London in Feb 2020. We were a diverse group of 4 adults and 2 kids, and all of us found multiple things to eat on the menu. The service was especially quick, which was key especially when dealing with jetlagged children.
S. W.
Nice old style pub, reasonably priced a stone's throw from the tower of London.
A. V. M.
Not bad. Choice of real ales was limited (5 hand pumps but only 3 beers, 2 of which were off), had more craft beers on tap. Food is sold, but didn't eat.
B. R.
Nice space and not bad for watching sports. The food is below average in quality but above average in price. Drinks selection is average. The bar area is big but there doesn't always seem to be enough staff on it.
A. H.
Great pub, nuff said.
A. G.
Trans-friendly pub with trans night The
Way Out Club on Saturday nights. Lovely garden too!
C. P.
Nice Pub, good food, you get Guinness and London Pride. I can recommend Fish and Chips, all kinds of Burgers, too. Perfect place to eat and stay with kids.
S. D.
If you are going to Excel centre from Tower Hill make sure you make a stop in here if you like pubs and want to watch sports. Good atmosphere large pub with bare bricked walls and you can hear the trains above you which is very authentic. It has different areas showing different sports. I had the burger which was very good indeed. Recommend the food, staff were polite and at hand with cutlery and sauces.
T.
Totally loved this place. It's deceptively spacious with a lot of nooks and crannies...even a confessional! Outside they have made great use of the space with booths and den with pillows and blankets. The staff were very nice and prices reasonable for London. I really like the feel of this place and didn't want to leave.
D. M.
Been there a few times for drinks. Its your average boozer. Average beer selection. I like the atmosphere and the way its laid out with two separate bars. surprisingly spacious which you wouldn't expect looking from the outside, and the beer garden is good on a sunny day. Can get quite busy with yuppies, being on the City's east border.
Never tried the food so cannot comment.
S. B.
Great looking pub in the arches with a nice outside
A. F.
The tour guide recommended it.. I had the pie, the wife had mac and cheese.. comfort food at its best. Five stars
I. S.
Charming and spacious pub with lovely beer garden. They have an amazing selection of British ales at reasonable cost. The meat platter to share was massive and great value for money. Helpful staff. Will be back here again very soon ;)
Y. N.
Amazing food and friendly staff
K. S.
Went for lunch as we were out and about around the area and the pub I wanted to go in wasn't open. Had Sunday roast. Came very quick but was advertised with stuffing and crackling but I got neither. Drinks fairly expensive with 2 pints of cider coming in at over £11.00 but then you are in the city... Just.
P. G.
Great fish and chips and not to busy
N. S.
Nice, big beer garden. Multiple screens indoors and outdoors for watching live sports. It has a very rustic feel and a great vibe!
D. A.
Friendly staff and lovely food
L. G.
This is a typical pub, or at least what i imagined. Located across from the Tower of London serves fish and chips, hamburgers and other local fare. The fish was good if a bit bland, the hamburger dry. They have a wide selection of beers and games on TV. You place the order at the bar, pay and the server brings you the food.
G. P.
Standard London pub with typical pub food. Range if beers not great when I was there and tended towards the larger end of the scale. Most notable for having a large number of covered outdoor seats and always screening Football when it is on. Close to Tower Gateway DLR and Tower Hill tube.
C. D.
Nice pub and way to find as just by the DLR station. The place is kept reasonably clean etc and for its location is interestingly decorated with an old confessional inside.
This place used to be great though, now the staff do not seem to care as much and the drinks are expensive.
M. B.
Great pub to have fish and chips and some beers. Friendly staff and cute place! They have a great covid friendly terrace with heater :D
M. M.
Always fresh food, staff is always top cant go wrong there
P. S.
Pub and beer are great. The people there are fun and the menu is well chosen. Unfortunately the staff is not friendly enough to strangers and not every beer from the menu was available what's said because of the big advertisement they made. With friendly stuff and all available this could be a perfect pub but after our experience I recommend other pubs in Whitechapel.
N. N. O.
Lovely Pub with atmosphere as the ceiling was leaking and the staff had wine ice buckets on the floor to collect the dropping water. Nice way to spend a hour or two on Christmas Eve drinking a couple of pints of London Pride Ale. The Christmas trees and colourful lights along with the dripping water from above added to the Christmas feeling.
J. T.
We stopped for a quick bite to eat and thinking about having to walk around the city, we ordered small meals! What a gorgeous service and lovely and delicious meals we had, which included a desert. Loved it and would come again! Thank you.
P. O.
I was there last Tuesday night staying over in London as I was at a conference the next day.
I was staying local at a Travelodge wanted to watch the football couple of Beers and a meal.
Found The Minories , absolutely brilliant pub!!! Service is excellent, as is the food, families were in there with locals pub was packed but atmosphere brilliant I got talking with locals. Having a beer with them lots of TV's if you want your sport really old pub by tower hill station and Liverpool Street station.
Definitely go there again 😀👍
S. E.
Very comfortable place good service
A. A.
One of the best pubs to watch football in London, really big place with many screens that show different matches/sports. It has a really good selection of beers, the sharing platter offers great value for money and it has quite a comfortable smoking area.
D. F.
Wonderful place, nestled between subway and railway arches.
Always pop in when in London and watched a few matches there too 🙌
Good selection of cider also
A. S.
Lovely pies. My friend had the Chicken and Leek and I had the beef and Gloucester. Lots of gravy and chips. Nice atmosphere. Vegetables only thing not so great. Friendly staff. Definitely will come back.
S. m.
Sach, what a lovely attentive host.
We walked in yesterday and again today, we were welcomed and looked after, he made sure even though some of the staff would of let us leave that he went out of his way to seat us in the covid situation, lovely experience, defo visit again 😁
A. B.
Traditional lay out for this pub made more interesting by the fact it is under the rail tracks. Good point is their Meantime beer offered directly from the tank instead of the kegs providing much better quality and freshness. A few cask ales but not a very precious collection.
G. M.
Good sports bar. Standard selection of beers. Plenty of screens. We booked a table for an AJ fight and there was a great atmosphere.
S. S.
Nice building, very traditional. But poor customer service. Cold pancakes with one slice of bacon instead of 2 as stated in the menu. And no honey which I then asked for. No hello from the guy that worked their he looked miserable when he brought the honey to the table. Just not what you would expect from a great looking establishment.
A. A.
As a tourist staying in the aldgate area I have to say this was overall the best bar to go to. Great prices and amazing food. I do not have one thing negative to say. I'm from Tampa Florida and the beer is twice as pricey here so I do not agree with people saying the beer is pricey
T. T.
Good food n drinks lots of games on many tvs
G. A.
We spent our time outside in the garden both Saturday and our return visit on Sunday, had a Sunday roast the food was excellent and so was the staff and service. Recommend to anyone in the tower hill area, seek it out you'll be happy you did.
C.
Excellent beer and service
P. J.
Nice pub with good selection of beers.
Had not been there for at least a decade and went back just last weekend. good outdoor area with loads of tables.
One big change since I last went there was a club in the pub for drag people and related and many of its clientele were very flamboyant. Certainly therefore not for the strait-laced reactionaries
T. D.
Great food great place very friendly
S. R.
Love this place, friendly cool vibe all the time and if you're looking for a place to watch the sports no better place then here. The outdoor area is amazing and this place is always packed. Its big so dont worry about space. The queues aint the worst and there are several bars inside its all smooth service. Food is good too.
S. N.
Though they forgot one of our orders and they delayed a little bit, the food was amazing! We enjoyed it a lot. I recommend their fish&chips, it was so yummy. Also the place itself is really nice.
A. L.
Great food and wonderful drinks
D.
London prices, but decent pints and food. Sports galore. Plenty of screens to watch multiple games. Not overpowering with sound from the games so can still talk to your friends.
Def come along way from the sleaze of 30 years ago
J. O.
London pub perfect for tourists after seeing the Tower of London. Beer on tap made fresh was pretty terrible, avoid it. Tons of options that are good in terms of beer, didn't try the food. They're likely to have the soccer games on.
C. C.
This large pub is nicely restored and is great place to watch a football match. Plenty of screens everywhere. Last time I went it took way too long to get a drink as they had closed the second bar despite the pub being very full for a Real Madrid - Barcelona match. The bartender was doing a fantastic job of serving people quickly, but there was only one of her and many of us. I'll be back though, and fingers crossed they'll have the second bar open.
M. M.
my partner and I were here in August and are back again the food has been first class service great . The outside seating area is vast and you can sit under a patio heater in there wooden seated area . just a stone's throw from the DLR station tower gateway. would highly recommend this place especially if you are a smoker 😁😍
J. B.
Had a couple of drinks here on a visit to London. Wasn't overly busy, though it was early on a Sunday, and the service was friendly.
The prices weren't as high as I was expecting, which was a nice suprise.
There was a decent selection of beer on tap, and a nicely presented beer garden to drink it in.
p. h.
I miss read the pub's name and thought there was going to be the little people in the dungarees, with Gru. No pies available on the night, chips were good though
L. M.
Great British pub, underground with nice wooden style. Large choice of beers in draft
S. B.
Nice pub, nice food....no complaints.
K. K.
Superb place for quick office lunch with great selection of beers and very helpful staff.
L. M.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced.
C. W.
It was okay the Sunday we went. Not enough staff, expensive drinks (even for London) and an expectation from the bar staff to 'tip' even though I had the pleasure of queueing, ordering and collecting my drinks from the bar - possibly might 'tip' if I ordered at the table and they were brought to me!
S. C.
Gone a bit downhill since last visit a few years ago. Food was mediocre and staff not very friendly
W. M.
Quaint little pub situated under the rail arches means you get a little overhead rumble every now and then but this adds to the character. Sadly no Wagyu burger available so opted for standard burger with bacon n cheese. Tasted nice, all seemed a reasonable quality for the price. Thought it could do with more chips but to be honest I was adequately fed when I finished it. Washed it down with a few Hobgoblins... Happily visit again!
J. W.
Lovely afternoon there in the garden, nice place and good drinks, good Covid friendly environment - thank you 🍻
C. H.
Great beer garden, nice food.
H. W.
It's a nice spacious place under an old railway bridge. Very friendly staff. A good place to watch football on telly. The beer prices are a bit above average.
T. G.
Excellent ambiance for London pub. Fantastic craft beers on tap. Will return to sample their great menu
L. B.
Very uncommon place, absolutely amazing. Under the train tracks. Amazing pub, lot of space, decent food. Many TV screens to watch football. They broadcast the Premier league , the Champions League, Europa League and international competitions.
J. S.
The reason why I started rating restaurants and my go-to whenever I am in London. Great selection of food and amazing desserts (the chocolate fudge cake makes your heart giggle). Wouldn't call it affordable, but at the end of every visit I always feel like I would want to pay more for what I had experienced. Also one of the few 'tourist' pubs that serves an amazing guinness
Y.
Great place, great food and great environment. A bit overpriced but you can say it'd be worth it.
C. S.
Great pub. Went for a rewarding breakfast after a long flight.
J. B.
Finally a place where I was served the English breakfast I was hoping for! Plus the atmosphere is nice and the service is rather polite. Unfortunately that's where the positive sides end and the negative ones start. The service is quite slow. You end up waiting 15-20 minutes for a pint and at least 40 minutes for a meal. Furthermore it was quite warm inside and I ended up sweating a bit which was really unpleasant.
P. M.
Great place to enjoy drinks with friends
M. L.
Real authentic London pub under the arches you can hear the trains overhead
E. I.
Nice food and selection of drinks
K. B.
Food was fab at a good price, staff really helpful , will definitely be back on next visit to London
N. D.
Had a very good night there.. They had a Elvis Presley night.
One side is a normal pub/bar and the other side is for function hire.. the food was very good and for that night had a deal on for people attending the Elvis night. The drinks where a little over priced but it is central London.
r. H.
I remember going here decades ago when it was one of the city post work party venues. The dance floor has gone now, but the DJ was still playing tunes to try to get the Christmas party people moving.
Plenty of space to find a spot to sit, even outside in the 'garden'!
Not cheap, but where in the city is?
Spitting distance from tower hill and fenchurch street so getting home is easy.
J. Z.
This pub is below a train station. It appears to have once been a train station as well. The bartenders, 5 in total were chatting behind the bar. Had to get up to order food and drinks. They has one bus boy working hard to clear and bring all the food.
The food was just okay.
S. F.
The smothered chicken was delicious, has the sweet potato fries and they were great.
Very reasonably priced considering it's in the heart of London.
d. d.
Went in on a roasting hot Sunday afternoon. Lovely and cool, quiet bits to watch the Ashes. Have five stars and keep up the good (air con) work
B.
Really lovely venue and fantastic food and coffee.

Defenitly worth a visit while your in London. We had a typical English breakfast there. A tasted great and it's just a lovely pub.
S. C. C. S.
Lovely East end boozer under the arches.
Beautiful garden..
B. L.
We had burgers, salads, chicken wings, mac and cheese, plus dessert! Everything tested so good! It's great spot hidden under the train tracks with all of its charm and history in tacked. I highly recommend it
V. v. A.
Came in for a beer, at the bar they told us they were closing in 20 mins. We got the beers and halfway the 20 mins, the bouncer-looking guy at the door came to kick people out super rudely, yelling "time", basically not giving us the chance to finish our beers. It was quite the let down, so we didn't go back. A shame - because it had a very nice atmosphere.
J. B.
Great 👍 seating outside beer 🍺 garden. Ideal for summer ✨ evening's. Lots of sports to enjoy 😉 on various outdoors screens.
A. N.
Great pub in the heart of the city
F. G.
Pleasant staff and a good pint of Spitfire
D. P.
This is a good solid pub and open on the weekends, this pub is massive and has at least 2 bars, they serve good food.
A main positive for me is they show football matches, but this might be the opposite for people. They sometimes only show it in the back bar so worth checking with the staff if you are looking for a match.
This is chain pub, but Stonegate Pubs seems to have a good idea on what makes a good pub.
So if you are in the area and don't fancy the expensive St. Katharine Docks, I'd recommend here.
P. C.
Nice pub with several big tv screens. Burgers and beers are quite good, the dishes are decent. Had to wait a bit too long at the cash register, though the overall service was good.
M. T.
We was served by Andy, he was really great and professional.
the food was nice, arrived pretty quickly and decent sized.
overall, a nice traditional pub with good food and friendly employees.
S. e.
Nice gardens
T. O.
Quick service, lovely friendly staff and very nice venue with a big garden!
B. W.
Big spacious place. Good atmosphere and big outside area. Staff a bit strange - they didn't like us standing at the bar when the place was half empty. Maybe they don't like people.....
S. H.
Lost points as a result of ease of ordering. Very unclear which app they want people to use, and limited options on the app.
S. B.
Fabulous food , staff very helpful nice rustic decor and nice ambiance.
C. G. D. S.
Great pub to watch sports in, many tvs all over, 3 tvs outside in the beer garden, they do a super sharer platter (enough to share for 2 or 1 very hungry person) full of onion rings, scampi, chicken wings etc. prices are decent on food and drink. lots of space inside and out and a function room on the side can be rented out. Recommended!
J. G.
Good quality grub with fast service and very pleasant helpful staff
G. S.
I had a Fish n' Chips, tasted exactly as you'd expect. 12£ for a normal sized portion. Most dishes are in the 11 - 13£ range. We went there as a family with a small child during lunch hours and sat outside. Felt good actually. Only downside is that you have to order and pay at the bar before you receive your food. Which isn't as family friendly. But for a party of two or three I guess it'd be okay. Wouldn't come back, but won't persuade others from not coming here either.
P. G.
Decent sized pub with lots of tables and a wide range on draft and interesting decoration. Food is okay but the noise from the trains above makes it very hard to hear. Lots of screens showing sport.
C. L.
Really nice atmosphere, wonderful food and very polite, attentive staff.
loads of TV's woth football including a Massive screen in the rear bar/dining area.
outdoor seating in the underside of a railway arch.
Interesting to hear the train clatter overhead. It certainly adds to the atmosphere.
M. G.
The ambiance is great in this pub under the train tracks.
Barman was nice and chatty.
Great pub food. I enjoyed the double steak philly pie!
A. A.
Very lively traditional pub just under the DLR Tower Gateway (there are two entrances, one facing America sq, the other just a step after the DLR stairs). Excellent choice of beer, and decent quality of wine. For large companies, head to the backyard with tables seating maybe 10-12 people. In the backyard, there's a second till serving drinks, very convenient.
J. P.
Welcoming friendly staff. Generous portions of great food, we had a beef and chorizo pie each, at a lower price than expected for the area.
Drinks and deserts were on offer, a good selection of well known and new draught ales for £2.45 and deserts were 2for1 (we visited on Monday so maybe only on certain days).
Would definately visit again.
W. A.
Brilliant outdoor area to watch sports and meet friends safely during restrictions. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff!
C. H.
Great atmosphere overall and the service was quick. Prices were good as well. Random folks changing and brushing teeth in the pee covered bathroom on the other hand, bring it down to 4 stars.
C. B.
Great looking place, great service
X. A.
Great place but is always busy. That being said I've never had a problem getting seating. Staff are friendly. It's a great place to go to in the summer with the outside area at the back of the pub.
M. D.
Excellent service and food . Well managed during covid measures
R. Y.
The sound of the underground train rumbling above you as you eat is a little unsettling, and the food was bland. The desserts, specifically the brownie and the cheesecake were good. Other than that a really traditional British pub, and it's pretty convenient.
C. B.
My place of choice whenever England wins the quarter finals of the world cup. Brilliant crowd, supportive of the three lions' squad and still friendly towards the few stray Swedes. Prices are on the high level one would expect for the area, but this is only to be expected.
M. C.
Minories is a quaint pub with a vaulted bricklayered ceiling. Every few minutes you hear the tube trains roll by which gives it a truely authentic feel. The meantime beer is freshly brewed and recommend for wheat fans. Orders (drinks or food) have to be placed at the bar along with your table number and the staff will get you your food order.
S. D. (. L. o. S.
Nice enough pub tucked under the arches, giving it a bit of character. Decent range of beers, pretty standard pub grub and nice enough service. Sky sports is a plus. It's okay.
R. S.
Good pub for watching sports. Some nice little corners with their own TV. Food is very average
R. D.
I work around the corner and this is typically the perfect good old pub for afterwork drinks with the colleagues or to catch a game.
The pub is quite big and as a nice outside at the back with a few bench/tables.
I'd definitely recommend it if you work in the area.
I love the vaulted ceiling (the pub is under the railway arches).
G. G.
Good food and good beer!!!!
Location very special underground the train!!!
C. N.
Decent traditional pub with plenty of seating and a nice outdoor space, pretty rare in the city! Food leaves a lot to be desired though, think Wetherspoons-esque menu and quality.
S. S.
Classic pub, but it ran out of my pint!
G. H.
It's a good location, with a great beer garden for the centre of london, and the food is nice. Only thing that lets it down sometimes is the staff who are normally ok but occasionally very frustrating to deal with.
M. B.
Very lively pub on the edge of the city. Great range of beers.
Substantial Sunday roast, though overcooked for my liking.
G. F.
It’s a good pub. Nothing special, it’s mainly a sport pub with pretty standard food and drinks. I wouldn’t say it has much of a personality but staff is nice, the place is big and you get what you see, a place to watch a match with a pint.
M. N.
Nice food, ok price and eason able atmosphere. Not a huge sports fan and this place is geared up to watching football but it was still a.nice place not too much in your face if you don't want to watch the numerous screens.
D. S.
TVs, and good food and beer. Interesting look.
E. P.
Nice pub,great food and service!
N. T.
Good food and drink, friendly staff
I. K.
Delicious place with delicious food. Even a basic meal like a burger is presented beautifully, on a wooden board along with some chips. Staff is great and quite helpful I might say.
R. A.
A great pub for afterwork drinks or if you want to watch a football match. It's very large inside, has 2 bars and lots of spare outside to stand and to top it off it's really well priced and the beer isn't too bad.
f. r.
Everithing very good, Been there after a visit to the tower and we enjoyed a pint of a fresh local lager in a very nice atmosphere in a garden full of colors and tv. recomanded for tourists that want to enjoy a London top place.
J. B.
Really good outdoor set up at the back. Had a nice little stroll down to the river after also.
D.
Food and drinks were decent
T. G.
Interesting interior in the arches of a train track. Pricey drinks but cheap food.
A. T.
Excellent service at a work do. Food and service were great.
D. m.
Went for brekky after a company Xmas night out. Late breakfasts and Many options but didn't have a hair of the dog, for which there are many more options than almost all pubs I've been in.
J. S.
Nicee environment, love the lighting, the garden is amazing, excellent variety of drinks and very nice people taking care of you. Would definitely recommend and I'll give them another visit for sure
S. A.
Location is unbeatable - excellent place for small to medium gatherings
K. P.
Staff very efficient food good value ladies toilets needed cleaning
M. G.
Quiet pub located convent for the city or tower bridge. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. It is pricier than average, but they have good food.
J. D.
Nice place, plenty of TV screens for watching sport. Not enough staff behind the bar, took ages to get served. Food was nice and not overly expensive.

Fantastic open plan pub with lots of screens and food was reasonably priced too. Pies looked great. Wide selection of beers on tap aswell.
J. P.
Had a yummy full English, would recommend!
A. O.
Decent service and similar selection of food. Authentic looking London Arch venue. You will need to get used to the noise of the trains entering and leaving the station above however
K. S.
The menu is good. Service is fast once you place your order with the bar staff. The fish&chips and mac and cheese are quite good.
C. B.
Cool bar, but no wheelchair access despite the huge size of the 4 or 5 doors! Terrace is pretty nice (and easy access) .
A.
Table service via app, and front row veiw of football- very nice

Here for a beer and a Liverpool game, lots of tv. Nice place
M. H.
Great pub, nice outdoor area. Really good food and good selection of beers and wines
P. H.
Good vibe, great pub. Food 4/10. Arrived barely warm and bar too busy to think about complaining.
B. e.
This was my first pub in London and everybody was nice. The beer was good and the food was served super fast. Also, they had some good beer.
N. H.
Lovely atmosphere in central london. Great place for pint chat and great food at goid prices. Enjoyed it went there twice in z 3 day visit
J. G.
Surprisingly large pub with a classically London-under-the-train-tracks vibe. If you want to see sport on dozens of tellies, this is a great place.
K. M. B.
Nice pub

The pub! Try their british lager and food. The staff is very kind and friendly. Wherever you come from in the world, they'll make you feel like at home!

Pretty nice place. Good, covered outdoor seating and lots of room inside as well. Standard London prices for drinks (£5ish for a pint).

One of my favourite Aldgate, if not London, pubs, it's a cosy set of nooks and crannies with a cute beer garden and maybe a million screens. Food is solid, but it's the ambience you go for.

If you are into live sport then the multiple screens won't disappoint. Average pub but on days of live sport both in and outdoors spaces have a good atmosphere.

Great place to watch the football, they have loads of screens and great areas for groups to enjoy, also did I mention that the food is great! I love that the atmosphere is so relaxed.

If you want a true experience on "pub ambience" that's the place. Proper food, crowded, gentle people, good choices on beer and siders...
always coming back, always missing when away from London...

Unique pub directly under a set of train tracks. A great place to watch the footy with a few pints and some decent food!

Great for football and in a good location East of the city. It has multiple large spaces with two bars, however a negative is that it is quite expensive for a pub.

Can be tough to find a good pub for sports around Tower Bridge and this place really delivers. Food not too bad. Vibe was great with the football on!

Nice atmospheric pub under the railway arches. Lots of live sport available. Drinks are fairly well priced considering the location.

Good pub by the Tower...
