C. B.A friendly pub that makes colourful characters welcome. Super live music on Friday evenings, live jazz and free cheese on Sunday afternoons. Excellent ale. Open fire in the winter. And my dog's allowed off the leash as long as she promises not to chase Pubcat. What is there not to like?
J. H.A hidden gem of a pub, it doesn’t look like much from the outside but the prices make up for this, definitely the cheapest pint I could find locally. The staff are great and extremely knowledgable in regards to the local area. Proper local boozer.
P. L.A back street pub that has a great live music policy, with jazz on a Thursday lunchtime. It also sells excellent real ales.
M.Visited 6/6/2019 around lunch time. Drinks reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere, polite staff. Being the youngest patrion didn't put me off. Jazz band on show at 13:30, will stick around next time to listen. Will be back

F. P.Great local pub tucked away behind Greenwich South Street and off the beaten track. It's a bit of a gem, one that needs to be preserved! Great beer, sticky carpets, "seasoned" boozer interior - but most importantly, popular with the discerning locals. Live music adds to the atmosphere - support your local pub, or find it and visit it if you're in the vicinity.
N. F.A great proper English pub frequented by friendly locals. I quite enjoyed talking a bit of London/Greenwich history with Ken and David. Very reasonable drink prices. They regularly feature live music as well. Highly recommend.

Often hosting a fun band or open mic night, a couple of good guest beers and all the usual lagers. A friendly, if drunken, crowd and a great independent feel. I only hope it stays that way (and they get a better cleaner).

D.The Colony Room Club had been shut for almost a year and I still hadn't found anywhere near as special, then I walked passed the Morden for about the third time and this time went in. brilliant music, incredible atmosphere, and most important a fantastic bunch of really friendly and vibrant people. I was home. I've never been to another pub in Greenwich since.
R. S.Traditional pub with a few ales on tap, larger and pub grub. Only takes cash. Great for resting the feet after exploring Greenwhich and maybe meeting some actual locals.
