Reviews of The Mudlark
I. M.
I went here a few weeks back and really had a great time. They put us in a private room as it was pretty loud inside, but as it had glass walls we felt part of the room. All the wait staff were friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The food was delicious: everyone in my party raved about their meals. Will definitely be going back.
L. C.
This is a quaint pub based in the London Bridge area. The decor is quite earthy and there is plenty of seating. The vibe is quite relaxed with people enjoying a comfortable environment to socialise. The prices are standard for the area. There is outdoor seating with heaters, but you need to be in the right location to benefit. There is a good selection of drinks and the staff are attentive. A good place for drinks with friends.
S. C.
Nice pub with a great selection of beers I causing a couple craft beer options. Staff were friendly however one of them put a sour taste in our experience there when they put a sign saying the table we were sitting at was reserved. He didn't speak to us but walked around us and placed it near our table, we weren't told the table had a booking at a later time when we first arrived either
M. J.
Very friendly atmosphere and good food. The outside area is cosy and welcoming with heaters and fair amount of space. Great place for after work drinks, my friends and I will definitely returning next time we are in the city
L. M. (.
Great service. Nice good pub food, well kept beer. Friendly staff and tables cleaned between parties.
D. S.
This is the first place we have seen that actually follows COVID safety guidelines! Tables are well spaced, contact tracing is enforced, waiters wear their masks, and there are strict rules around using the facilities responsibly. As a result, this was the first time in a while I actually felt safe dining out.
To top it off, the food was delicious and generously sized. I’m very grateful to this establishment for keeping us all safe and for a great meal in a relaxed environment!

A fine pub located almost under London Bridge.
Off a cobbled street right behind the Southwark cathedral and the Borough Market.
Excellent friendly service. Spacious enough inside with a lovely gated beer garden. Recommended if walking along the rivers southbank or a break from the hussle and bussel of the Borough Market or the main London Bridge thoroughfare.
J.
Quality pub and the bar staff Jamie and Marcus are both real good blokes. Pre lockdown would go here once a week after work and never failed to have a good night. Attracts a really good crowd (usually London workers rather than tourists - making it great for tourists!) and has the vibe of a modernised old London boozer. Decent choice of lagers, ales, wine and spirits and the bar snacks are up there with the very best. They also have an ace beer garden which is a perfect little hideaway.
H. R.
Tbh this pub seems to have gone downhill a bit. Maybe just because it's not tourist season but it all felt a bit unloved even though the staff were obviously working hard and really nice.
J. M.
Lovely location, food and staff. A must visit every tim In London.
A. M.
Nice enough pub that's a little off the beaten track. Unfortunately my latest experience here was rather ruined by a very grumpy and unpleasant barman who was clearly stressed out by having a busy pub to manage and was quite rude.
J. T.
Just a few minutes walk from London Bridge station. Excellent staff and service, great location and good food. A very nice and pretty large garden patio area with umbrellas and patio heaters. A lovely evening and attentive staff 👍
D. A.
The steak and kidney pudding was BANGING!! I've been dreaming of it ever since. The staff are very friendly, good choice of booze. Can get very busy.
D. T.
A Nicholson's pub tucked away below London Bridge and next to Southwark cathedral. All wooden beams and big windows, also a dining room upstairs. Pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff, a good place for A beer.
M. W.
Extremely welcoming bar staff, Truly fantastic food and as the pub filled in the evening very friendly customers I'd COMPLETELY recommend this establishment
J. R. P.
If you look for an english food restaurant close to the Borough market this place must be in your list. Located just behind the Southwark Cathedral, the food is great, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the staff is really nice. All at a very reasonable price. A great discovery. BTW, if you like cider, let them advice you.
S. C.
This pub has a good atmosphere serving a range of beer and a good bar menu. It is not too roomy inside the bar but does have a covered patio area adjacent which is nice during better weather. It is handy for Borough Market, which is just around the corner, and for Southwark Cathedral.
r. e.
A little bit of pricey for a pub lunch, but it was absolutely delicious. I would go Again. Classic hamburger one of the best .
J. A.
Beautiful, remarkably quiet pub under London Bridge with nice, reasonably priced ports and a few beers on tap too. Friendly service.
M. F.
Nice place and nice beer garden bit small and a couple of small TV screens
D. M.
A great pub set back from the thames. Short walk from London bridge. Lovely outdoor courtyard. Very welcoming atmosphere.
B. W.
Very nice Nicholsons pub, close to London Bridge, not too full during the day. There's a small beer garden area outside and very comfortable seating inside. There are even a few power outlets you can use.
Food arrived quickly, was reasonably priced and decent pub fare. The staff were super friendly and funny. Definitely recommend this pub
D. D.
Lovely pub, nice outdoor area a little less frantic than the other pubs in the area
S. S.
Lovely old London pub. Good food and friendly staff. 5 mins from London Bridge Station.
J. E.
Spent New Years Eve here and had a lovely evening. Of all the pubs near the Thames, this one seemed the cosiest. They also had a really decent beer selection. Coming from the US, I'm often disappointed if an establishment doesn't offer at least one IPA (this seems to happen frequently in Europe, more so in Germany perhaps). Anyhow, I believe they had two or three on hand, and a number of ciders, which made the wife very happy as well. Not sure if the music they played was consistent with what's popular in London, but that would have been our only complaint. We could talk over quite easily though, so it wasn't an issue.
M. T.
This is a great pub for a catch up after work or for a meeting point. I have been here a few times and the service is always good. It is only 5mins walk from London Bridge tube, just under the bridge and next to pizza express.
D. M.
Good old pub, worth a few beers if your nearby, a little on the pricier side compared to others in the area
C. H.
Very friendly staff and we weren't rushed. Food good too definitely a place to visit if you are in London
L. L.
Lovely old pub, it's like stepping back in time....
A. J.
A good place to drink a Czech beer 🍻. Heated beer garden is always a bonus for smokers 🚬.
M. G.
I love it. Everything was excellent. One of the best pubs in London
J. L.
Would definitely recommend this pub! Had a great night out, the staff were really good, the food amazing! Overall a very positive experience. Will be back soon!
p. e.
Always loved The Mudlark. Cosy, cheerful atmosphere, welcoming staff and lovely location.
B. L.
Great friendly pub ,very close to London Bridge station but off the main drag so your not fighting the masses.
J. T.
What a lovely pub! The staff are always so friendly. Food is very reasonably priced & tasted amazing. Definitely worth a visit. The outside area is great & the outside heaters kept us nice & warm. Thanks to the staff for an enjoyable afternoon 😀
M. A.
Good pub. Hidden under the bridge so a good spot that doesn't get as busy as the others in the area
S.
I spent really good time with my friends at this pub. Drinks and food are really good and the staff is really friendly and professional.
I also felt Covid-safe cause everybody was wearing a mask and tables were constantly sanitized.
Will surely recommend this place to my friends and come back soon :)
M. A.
It was perfect found for us right before heavy snow started. Hughe and tasty "Fish&chips" according to my friends. Friendly personnel and amazingly tasty Cappuccino.
L. K.
Excellent food!!! Fantastic service. The best steak ale pie and barnsley lamb chops we ever had. They were brilliant and William is the best!!! Thanks.
M. W.
Good COVID secure option for a drink. Usually a great choice but few temporary issues. Outside space is under massive scaffolding for building works above and real ale selection is massively reduced. Fans of ales other than Doom bar and London pride need not apply...
C. P.
Liked it, nice, convenient.. drinks and food upstairs
C. N.
Nice drinks nice outside seating area with heating
2. C. D.
Nice garden to sit in and enjoy a meal.poor staff were continually 're arainging tables and chairs on our last visit. Just Watch the opening times they are only open 5 days !
A. W.
Nice enough pub not far from the river.
E. d. V. G.
Super nice stuff and good food. Caramel cookie cake delicious!
C. P.
Great pub to drink in a great location (just opposite the old London bridge) although the manager seemed to be a very strict authoritarian and most of our group were a little scared of him. Just make sure you behave!
S. I.
Cosy bar! Nice veg burger. Comes with a drink for only £11
G. C.
FYI - Pints are £6 and the fish & chips were £17 and the portion size was basically a kids meal. So it's not going to be value for money here. Good space inside and was showing the football.
M. C. (.
Great place to stop after a spending time down on the foreshore, and look through all the clay pipe stems you found
A. C.
Great bar, really nice beers and they have the football playing however the staff didn't tell us that our table was booked reserved for an hour after we arrived they just randomly placed a reserve sign on our table and didn't address it with us.
M. C.
Really good pub. Lots of choice of lagers and ales. Tad expensive but I am from the north and not used to paying over a fiver for a beer.
D. N.
Speedy service and plenty of beer.
D. T.
Nice atmosphere and a good Sunday lunch. What more do u want👍
K. C.
Service was great but the food slightly overpriced.
R. R.
As a local, not been here in quite a while. Staff and pub weren't that great. Anyway, popped in tonight for a quick glass of wine and was very pleasantly surprised by the improvement in the place. Staff friendly, decor much improved and although we didn't eat, the food being brought out looked and smelled delicious. That's when we noticed a change of management. Will definitely be returning.
R. B.
Good food and a stellar ever changing cask line up
M. A.
We have our monthly quiz night at the Mudlark. Great atmosphere and a very convenient location from London Bridge Station.
D. W.
Lovely lovely pub! Thanks Jay and Francesco.
C. C.
Relaxed atmosphere with great service.
Marcus and the team took care of our needs and food and drink ordering was easy and swift.
Thanks for a memorable evening.
P.
Absolutely outstanding pub. Staff and service are exceptional. Superb location too. Cannot recommend highly enough.
C. W.
Great pub near Borough Market. We felt very safe due to their Covid restrictions. Great drink range and excellent service. Will definitely be returning.
S. W.
Didn't have beer, did have 97 rules, was not fun, dingy scaffolding over garden. Pretty poor really, but maybe just bad day soon after reopening...
T. K.
Friendly staff. Prompt service. We were there after office hrs with colleagues. Spent quality time without any hindrance. I'll visit this place again.
L. G.
Fantastic pub with a great selection of drinks, lovely outside area. Great drink and food knowledge from servers, they even recommended the rhubarb Gin!! it was on delicious! Cannot wait to return again
C. L.
Very noisy, not sure how locals put up with it
s.
Good location. Cosy place. Had to wait 25 mins for food on a Tuesday evening but the staff provide decent service. Good mix of tourists and local workers compared to North of the river.
C. K.
Had a booking here not too long ago. Reserved the whole room in the upstairs area. It was amazing.
Having the whole private space and a member of staff with additional to help. If there wasn’t a certain drink on that bar they go and fetch it for you. Made us feel really welcome.
There is a sound system up there but can’t hook our own music up which is a shame. But deffinetly didn’t ruin the night
M. C.
Used for a drinks venue at a company event upstairs after using Glazier's hall over the cobbles earlier in the day. Service was good, bar staff very helpful. Trying to get over a hundred people into upstairs bar was too many but our fault not theirs. Food worked well and seemed popular. All good, many thanks.
I. R.
Excellent...
Good atmosphere
Great vibe...
Staff very friendly...
Fantastic set-up, looking forward to going back soon.. 👍
G. P.
Good place to grab some drinks and food.
M. J.
Lovely pub, very cosy.
F. M.
Classic south London "proper" pub with good drinks selection, inside cost areas and outside beer garden and right by London Bridge.
D. F. S.
A nice Nicholsons pub close to London Bridge Station.
S. H. (.
Not much to review on as me and the other half just popped in for a quick drink, and he paid so I don't know what the pricing was like. However, the atmosphere was fun and lively, yet the pub itself had a nice old, rustic charm. The menu, which we looked at, looked very varied and nice, and reasonably priced. Hopefully we will go back and I can write a better review, but I would definitely recommend it.
S. Y.
Lovely proper pub tucked away a stones throw from London Bridge. Friendly staff. Good beer choice. We were in the upstairs bar first for private function but downstairs is like a local old style pub which are fast disappearing.
E. S.
Good food. Great environment. Service could be a little bit better.
E. M.
Lovely location, friendly staff, decent food and fairly reasonable prices.
D. C.
Quaint old pub under the shadow of Southwark Cathedral, dating back to the mid 1700s.
Good range of beers on tap, well maintained venue overall with plenty of seating inside and out.
Nice pub food, simple but effective menu, well prepared and quickly served (lunchtime on Friday). Only complaint was the small serving of fries with my delicious burger. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
S. C.
Had a table booked to watch the game last night, very happy with the service and overall atmosphere, we will be back on Sunday!
D. R.
Great location, friendly staff
T. B.
I go here regularly to catch up with an old friend (it's between our offices). It's a Nicholson's Pub, so the drink options are fairly standard. Well priced, with fast service and a nice beer garden outside
D. H.
My “go to” local whenever in or around the London Bridge Area. As many seats outside as inside makes it a real rarity in central. Great for summer evenings. Food is standard pub fayre, but with consistent and timely service. Only NB... the Bells from Southwark Cathedral next door can get pretty loud when the campanologists are giving it some welly.
D. A.
Decent pub and good pies. Quite quiet for a Sunday lunch but friendly staff
S. U.
Always love coming to this pub. Tucked just out the back streets next to the river. Food is always amazing. Drink selection is vast. Staff are friendly and attentive.
There’s not much to fault really
S.
This is a very nice pub with a good selection of beers and outside space. I've been a couple of times over the last couple of weeks and I've enjoyed the place and atmosphere every time. I'm definitely going to come back.
L.
I'm from Australia and was recommended this pub for lunch while in London.
They have delicious fish and chips, and amazing service!! Would definitely recommend. The owner/manager was absolutely lovely.
C. H.
Decent amount of space for central London and good outside heated space too. Food ok, not top dining but good for the price. Often queues at the bar but staff are pretty quick in comparison to other places. Toilets decent.
S. L.
Had a meeting here, great place for socialising, great selection of real ales and lagers and a very competitive menu. Had the shepherds pie and it was amazing. Will be hopping on the train and coming back in the future. Close to the station just a short walk. Will be spending a few weekends here for sure.
D. R.
Nice enough pub, and very handy for London Bridge station. Service at the bar was reasonably fast even when busy, and they serve a good selection of wines and beers. But there is nothing to really distinguish this from any other pub in the vicinity. The location is potentially difficult for anyone with mobility restrictions, as there are steep old steps to get down to it, or a long walk round: not the pub's fault, obviously, but for the purposes of a review I should say that I certainly wouldn't want to meet anyone in a wheelchair there, or a friend with bad knees!
C. S.
What a hidden gem! Reserved a table as we were entertaining some friends from the USA and it was everything we could have hoped for. Wonderful staff, great British menu, wonderful staff, great atmosphere, wonderful staff and everything we needed in a casual, farewell meal. Delightful!
T. M.
Ordered the platter and it was amazing. Chicken breast. Sausage.nachos and mac and cheese. Yummy. Second time I have ordered this and it's a nice platter enough for 2 people. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Be sure to go early or you won't get a seat.
J. W.
Great little pub true hidden gem in London. Staff are friendly attentive and if it’s quiet on the main bar there’s even table service.
Always a great pub to go to
R.
Nice pub. Great location with calm outdoor space. Outdoor heating lamps too so if it’s not so warm you’re ok too.
Good service as there were quite a lot of people in and I didn’t have to wait to order at the bar.
Upstairs area as well as downstairs. Outdoor garden area has seated benches with large umbrellas so ok if raining.
Would recommend and it’s also very close to lots of other bars and activities in the area.
T. D.
Nice beer garden, fairly standard selection of drinks but a bit too cramped inside. Removing one or two tables would make it much easier to manoeuvre the pub, and also bring the abysmal waiting time for food down.
A. H.
It's a fine pub smack bang in the middle of London on the South Bank. Two floors with a heated covered open garden. The food is great drinks are fine. We play boardgames upstairs often where they accommodate us. It's really a good place.
M. S.
Nice atmosphere, nice drinks, average food. The Classic Burger could have been out of my old school cantine. The meat was like rubber. Chips were good. For £12 quite pricy for the quality
J. D.
Absolutely fantastic setting with absolutely no effort whatsoever put in by whoever runs this place. Bar staff are fine personally but disorganised. On a Friday night the only ale available was a 2.2% session ipa. The bar child assured me that the porter was an ipa and tried to serve me two pints of cloudy nonsense assuring me the obviously end of barrel dreggs were drinkable. I expect better and so should everyone else.
L. N.
A good pub that's right by London Bridge but not as overflowing and packed with people as other pubs typically are in the area. This is only because it's a tiny bit off the central pub area but was great for us. There was a decent range of beers (some Camden pale), and the usuals. Prosecco was decent value for £25 for a bottle too. It's got a spacious seating area inside and a good space outside too.
L. B.
Good pints and pies on a soggy evening in London.
Despite its innocuous location the Mudlark was packed on a rainy Weds evening, with even its terrace stuffed with people huddling under parasols. The friendly staff pull a decent pint and the en vogue Gin options ensure fans of the juniper are well catered for. The food menu is comprehensive, but it's not worth looking past the pies. Whilst not cheap - my duck confit pie came in at a handsome £16.60 - they certainly are tasty and well cooked.
More pubs like the Mudlark please!
N. L.
Great place, great beers.
This gastro pub borders Southwark Cathedral, so the views are great. Plenty seating indoors and outdoors (allowing smokers). The menu thou not cheap looked good. Excellent coffee. This place provides a nice comfort seating after visiting Southwark market, eating their delicious foods but lacking seating.
K. R.
Nice location and managed to get a table outside on a hot summer's day. The wine wasn't bad at £20 per bottle and the staff were pleasant enough. Although, I did have to go and find my own menus.
However, the nachos were not the best, with a random dollop of guacamole, cream and tomato sauce in the middle of the plate, and just not enough cheese. And the extra chips I ordered were more of a child-sized portion, not that anything a grown adult would find substantial.
So, all-in-all, okay, but nothing to write home about.
L. M.
We sat in their lovely garden with our drinks. They take social distancing very seriously and we felt like they provided a safe and pleasant place to meet.
J. G.
Such nice atmospheric place! Little hard to find but when you do get here, little gem!
Staff is so lovely and very helpful- came here during pandemic and their safety is spot on!
J. '. M.
Great location, ideal for a pint after work. If you're quick enough you can get a great sausage sandwich with your pint of 'meantime' too. Good atmosphere, friendly & efficient staff.
a. c.
Good little pub and wasn't too busy for central london which was nice, decent drink selection too
M. F.
A cozy little pub that serves hearty, reasonably priced and tasty pub style food. I had the burger and pint deal - it was great and lived up to expectations. Nice little spot with a good selection of beers.
J. B.
Really nice and cosy pub in central London. Great drink selection, friendly staff. Definitely want to go back when they’re back open.
D. C.
A modern, well kept Nicholson's pub just below London Bridge. Good, family friendly menu. Would have got 5 stars if tables had been cleared more quickly and food removed from floor.
t.
Good and relatively quiet place for a beer or wine in the shadow of Southwark Cathedral. Craft beer or wine snobs probably won't find what they are looking for but I would suggest this is a nice place for a pint or two before catching a train or if you're in need of a break whilst visiting borough market or other local attractions.
L. W.
Cosy bar, great atmosphere with really friendly and helpful staff. Food was amazing and still warm to the last bite.
Great selection on tap and shelf.
Definitely worth a visit, though it's is a small and popular location, you might have to hover for a seat.
D. H.
Just had a beer and food here .Delicious. tucked away under London Bridge. In the shadow of Southwark Cathedral. The girl that served us wasent very friendly. She must have been having an off day. Would definitely return as the other staff were spot on.if your in London it's worth a visit. Lots of Historic pictures on the walls.
A. S.
A nice and quite pub hidden away in the middle of everywhere! Do go if you like a bit of quite and peace on a Friday evening - you won't get any in any of the watering holes in the neighbourhood. They also do a good selection of finger food.
L. H.
Great pub in London Bridge with some good ales and great indoor and outdoor seating.
Can get really busy but makes for a great atmosphere. Not bad on the bar food either.
M. S.
Tiny chain pub with a restaurant upstairs and a larger but very wind-swept outdoor seating area with a great view of Southwark Cathedral. Great for listening to the bells, when the ringers are there. So-so choice of beers and a bar-staff that doesn't really try very hard from what I saw.
J. H.
The staff is very pleasant and explained COVID rules clearly, small beer garden is welcoming and food there is also good
M. W.
Go-to meeting place when drinking with friends in the area. Ideally situated for good transport (London Bridge). Large outdoor seating area with heaters for the winter. Good selection of ales. Friendly staff.
R. W.
Decent pub close to London Bridge. Never tried the food before but decent range of crafty beers. Average prices. Always full, but then so is everywhere else.
B. L.
Decent pub, friendly service and good selection of beer
D. W.
1st pub meal after 3 months of lock down. Heaven on earth. Could not fault the service in any way and the food was well worth the wait.
M. F.
Good pub with a small outdoor seating area, but shortage of ales when I visited which was disappointing for a Nicholson's pub.
P. N.
Ordered 2 steak rib pies. The presentation was very good with the chips and root vegetables (at extra cost mind you) but when it came to the steak it was awful. There was more fat and a bare rib bone inside the pie. The arrogance of the manager was the final nail in the coffin for my visit. I would not recommend eating here!!
r. m.
Decent pub, tucked away under London bridge. Can get very crowded after work! Decent sized beer garden with heaters, and reasonable food. Nothing special but a decent option for sure!
P. d. B.
Really nice vibe; cozy, modern but atmospheric pub with trendy types. My colleague was served a beer that was off but the staff sorted him out (in a good way). Would go back.
G. R.
This is an awesome pub ... with a beer garden that you might not notice from the outside. A couple of minutes walk from London Bridge station as long as you take the road that runs behind the London Dungeons ... recommended for a mid week drink
R. C.
Nice little pub with a good selection of drinks. The food menu could be a little more inspiring, but other than that it's a lovely place to meet friends and in a great location.
S. B.
Nicholson's pub. Good english pub grub, decent drink selection served well, dog friendly, some veggie dishes and wi fi that works. Good for meetings during the day as fairly quiet and close to London Bridge station. Outside courtyard next to Southwark Cathedral
W. B.
Very basic cafe type
Although coffee and short eats
very tasty
J. B.
It is a nice pub in a nice setting
l. s.
I enjoyed this pubNo problemsbri g served at the bar. The only issue was no toilet paper in the mens. Other than that the bear garden was ok. Even with the scaffolding up around it.
M. P.
Good gammon steak, chips weren’t nice and peas were awful.... waiters were ok, willing to mix a drink but not particularly happy or anything.. was a bit disappointed.
But is in a good spot and nice warm heaters
D. S.
Good service, good food, good price.
D. M. S.
Great little pub with some interesting choice of ales and good food
All staff had masks on and explained COVID rules very well
F. L.
Nice pub situated next to Southwark Cathedral. Nicely tucked away from the riff raff of London Bridge. Solid line up of beers and cosy interior. Lovely little boozer
a. d.
We first found this hidden gem nearly 10 years ago and thankfully it's hardly changed a bit. Grest ale good food and a lovely old world feel to the place. Hope you enjoy the place as much as us!!
B. K.
Professional staff and almost friendly to a fault. William took our order at the table without fuss or show, the sausages were amazing and a great recommendation from him.
D. S.
Good pub
B. K.
The mudlark is a very old pub nr london bridge stn and literally on the door step of Southwark cathedral, use by Johnny Vaughn and Steve brooker in the series madmen, has lots of pictures and mudlarking artefacts, and the food was absolutely brill I'm a veggie and the sausage and mash was the best I've had, friendly staff will deffo be going back again 😊💜💜
J. “. C.
Great after-work beer. Efficient service and lovely area. Can't comment on the food as I am not from this planet and Don't eat human food.
d. b.
Return to an old haunt, long overdue, last there when they were building No1 London Bridge more than 20 years ago.Still the same excellent they have a beer event on now,For the first time ever I had brown ale on tap Wonderful friendly staff very good music, and food.We were very pleased, and I am hopeful that brown ale on tap may catch on (fingers crossed) PS the brown and bitter was great.
H. W.
This is a good pub, went for Christmas work do and they looked after us, we had the upstairs area to ourselves. The food was good and they have a good drinks menu
V. I.
Decent central pub - has all the standard beers plus a nice selection of cask ales. Good atmosphere for a pint after work.
P. T.
Ok, it's the middle of London, but £5.40 for a pint of poorly kept/ poured Taylors Landlord is pushing it a tad for me. That said surroundings-wise not at all unpleasant
J. H.
The atmosphere is great on a friday evening filled with lots of young people. The music is good but can be a bit loud for me. Good for a dance and a good pre club pub. The prices are average for a london pub and happy to pay these
B. S.
Fabulous place. Food and service was great. Was a bit rowdy but when the large group of chaps were eating, they were quiet. A testament to the quality of the food me thinks.
J. H.
Great food and a decent selection of draught beers, reasonably priced. Can be quite busy in the evenings with the after work crowd but tends to be quite quiet at the weekend.
J. S.
Great Range of Food & Drink throughout the day. Worth trying to find it at bottom of steps leading down from South West corner of London Bridge, or from Montague Close at back of Borough Market
F. T.
Lovely experience!
Great variety of spirits and the food is great!
C. R.
Very good beer selection and there's almost always some seats outside. Inside can get a little too noisy sometimes, I wish they'd turn the music down a notch.
T. L.
Great pub with a nice outside area,
lovely atmosphere and good food
C. L.
Bit cramped but great coffee

Brilliant little pub, good location, really good beer, good food and a good atmosphere, what else do you need in a pub? Go there and make some memories
S. P.
We were a group of ten italians who came at 3:30pm asking for something to eat, and you guys nailed it. Food was good, The atmosphere was good, and the service faboulous!
Thank you so much!
S. C.
Great pub by London Bridge, nice little courtyard garden
M. B.
Nice pub
C. G.
Good location and music. Staff is always friendly but the place is pretty pricey for a pub even in London
M. G.
Well organised to cope with the restrictions, lovely place to have a catch up after so long
G. H.
Located just by the river, the Mudlark is a nice enough pub. The drinks prices are on par with other London pubs, the food is average. However the service, location and beer garden make it an excellent spot for a summer drink by the river.
T. W.
Quaint london pub with plenty of outside seating
W. S.
Subtle and subdued with an air of authenticity that is sadly lacking in the average pub around the area. You are a step above the spit and sawdust of you average ale house see the mug house for an example but comfortable enough to find a dark corner and unwind. Facing the Dickensian london steps of Oliver Twist the premises really isn’t steeped in a rich history.
Thourghly enjoyable and a great and friendly landlord in Shamous. Just a touch out of the way to make a local but definitely a last stop Pre train drinks venue. Substanically better that th shipwrights.
L. W.
Nice pub and bar staff apart from the manager. Rude and more interested in picking his nails than serving at the bar,he let's the rest of the team down.
M. K.
Best Mac and cheese!
Totally worth visiting. Place looks nice too and staff is great.

L. M.
The Bramley apple pie was delicious.
L. C.
Traditional pub near london bridge. On thurs or Fri go up stairs to get served cos its heaving. Good food beer and wine - pub grub and lots of different beers. Usually 4 or 5 real ales.
E. A. F. C.
I can't comment about food as I didn't eat but the pub is really pictoresque, and service was really good. Would definitely try again if in the area.
T. P.
The staff were very nice other than the short bald one who was very rude and patronising.
Probably won't come back
L. F.

This is clearly a popular place and the standard of food was high. I was surprised though at the lack of bar staff as the evening progressed and the increase in serving time.

Great little pub next to London bridge, comes into its own in summer with a great outdoor area.
M. K.
Food very slow to come out, but otherwise OK. Sadly experience ruined by extremely enhibriated customer shouting abuse and intimidating behaviour to which manager refused to resolve as she stated he was a customer too and unless he was physically abusive she could do nothing!
N. S.
