Y. W.Going to the Nightingale was the second best thing this year after the NYE party! We had lunch by the fire. The ambience was very relaxing, beef roast was delicious, wine recommended by the friendly staff was spot on. This will be my top regular hangout for 2022!
A. A.Tasty food. Great outdoors seats tables. However nobody seem to worry about Covid 19. Waiter waitress bar staff nobody wear mask or face shield
Just hand sanitizer provided front of the toilet. During all dinner I did not notice even once no one to clean or sanitise tables and benches.
K. C.A really atmospheric pub, with cosy spaces to drink and socialise including enjoyable music played at the right level making discussion really easy, providing a fun ambience, especially sitting in the large wing back chairs by ths open fire, just what we needed!

Being a Yorkshiremen I've had my fair share of Yorkshire puddings...these are by far the best I've ever had! Crispy edges and fluffy centre...absolutely delicious to mop up the thick, rich beef gravy. Too notch!!

Highly recommend the halloumi fries with yoghurt, sublime!!!

S.You are always welcomed at, ' The Nightingale pub,' Ian the manager is very experienced and always accommodating to patrons .An iconic pub in Nightingale Lane, well run , nice wine selection from various countries, good selection of appropriate glasses. A broad selection of pub food, I recommend the baked camembert cheese with garlic and rosemary, it's so delicious. The outside garden is very spacious and in a protective, sheltered setting. Indoors is a fabulous fireplace to sit by in the Winter with a traditional decor and friendly staff ,very cosy and snug .
A popular pub that has the recipe for success, I recommend a visit at this Victorian landmark.

P. J.I've been going there for over 40 years, far too pricey although not their fault, also cashless, gents toilets need updating.

S. M.Lovely pub and standard of food and drink is very good. As the prices are at the higher end and a 12.5% service charge applies I feel certain elements need improving. The man who greeted us on arrival didn't offer a warm welcome and treated us like an inconvenience because we didn't have a reservation. The next lady who served us made up for this. Glasses were also not that clean. We would return but they need to deliver a better service especially when you pay the service charge before you've even been served! (via the app)

T. C.Great pub! Lovely beer garden, atmosphere was good, the food was good. I had the light lunch battered haddock and chips with mushy peas-good value for about £6, good meal. My bf's father enjoyed the ale and burger. The pub gets involved in community activities like the Nightingale Walk.
A. S.Small pub atmosphere usually by regular customers. The weekend nights are full young people. British food good portions. I recommend "Toad in the hole". All kinds of drinks especially beer. It has tables in the garden area quite comfortable especially in summer. price ££
D.Love this little 'village pub' in the middle of South London. Nice beer garden and good selection of wines and beers. Good access for anyone in a wheelchair. TV for teaching the football. Sadly they don't have SKY.
J. B.It's my local and I love it. It's got its friendly locals. I once lost my wooly hat and everyone in the front bar area helped look for it. It's dog friendly. It reminds me a bit of a country pub. There's no loud music and it's simply decorated but it's often full of people of all ages. The garden is nice. One must get there early on a Wednesday for the pub quiz as it gets packed full.

H. H.I really like this little pub. Tucked round the back of Clapham South station (about 10 minutes walk), it’s quaint. It is a really cosy pub for rainy afternoons or when the sun is out you can sit in the garden or out the front. They have a moderate selection of draft beer and ale, good for a pub this size, and a kitchen producing tasty food.

A. R.One of the best pubs in the area. Great atmosphere, good beer and tasty food. It can get busy on Sunday's but generally a relaxed place to be with space outside for sunnier days and a big fire for wintery times. Lovely service too.
b. r.Wonderful neighborhood, and neighborly, pub. As a recent resident in Battersea, I walked into the pub my first time and was immediately welcomed by several regulars. No one was put off by the fact I am a Yank. George the manager was equally as friendly and solicitous.

Very cool linterior, rustic, historic, attractive and always very clean.
Top shelf booze selection as well as Guinness on tap.
